A very close encounter with my lovely binnie..

Sorry for late response for I left my soul in Korea. I still not yet wake up until now. His image keeps on hovering in my mind and i miss him more than be4.

I couldn't do you a favor for a signature as we were not allowed to do so. I was placed near the aisle on the 5th row (seats were in slope, so the distance will be more shortened)...very near to the stage in fact. He stepped out from the left-hand-side of the stage & stepped back from this side again after it ended in 2 hours...exactly my side. So I could see him very clear indeed ~~ a very close encounter with my lovely Binnie.

I screamed and yelled very very very loudly right after he came out from my side, holding my banner "Hong Kong" in Korean words. He could clearly see me for my banner could catch his eyes easily. It seemed No Korean fans brought with banners except those who came from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. However, their banners were too clumsy and needed to be held by several persons, that' y they could hold it just at the first sight of Binnie and dropped down and never held again. But mine was handy. Whenever he saw me, I erected it upright and he could see it very easily for the 5th row was upon his eye-level. He also waved hands to my side for he knew this side was for overseas fans. He said "enjoy your time" ....something like that in English. He could say "thank you" in Mandarin to thank a Chinese who drew a pix for him right at the venue.

He was extremely gorgeous, tall & well-built, with long legs and strong arms. His shape was very very well with decent clothes. His hair-style; outfit; shoes; face appearance were in perfect harmony. He looked so smart even at his back. I've never seen such a charming guy be4 ~~ irresistable at all. He was a person of great refinement and he drove me crazy after seeing him in person. It's not easy for me to verbalize to u now. Excuse me, any medicine can help?

I was very much impressed by his singing skill...a very touching song...."1000 times"....actually well-improved as compared with formerly ~~ He was full of confidence when he sang the song....just like a professional singer's style. My friend suddenly shouted "encore" and everybody followed "encore"....at that time, he felt a bit embarrassed for he couldn't have any other thing could be left to entertain his fans...therefore he suddenly twisted his bottom to express that "nothing could be shown now"...something like that. But his "twist" made us screamed loudly again for he was absolutely sexy when he did it, with two fists swinging in the air. Moreover, we couldn't find this shot of vod via the internet. This twist was just in few seconds' time and perhaps nobody could record this part. If you may get it, please kindly shoot to me then.

When Korean fans did their performance at the stage, he placed a chair & sat on it at my side to watch the show quietly. His left profile with his hair tied-up was clearly shown at my sight....very clear...very real... just straight direction in front of me. The contour was perfect indeed. My friend shouted: Hyunbin ssi, then he switched his head to our side...my friend went on..."I love u". Then I followed: "I love u 2". He could hear clearly but he didn't response to us, of course, he's too shy, just smiled slightly. Question's time came.....My friend sat next to me raised a question: Will you come to HK shortly ? But Hyunbin ssi couldn't hear clearly for my friend's voice was too low and too trembling. Then I asked this question on behalf of her. (without a microphone, he could also hear my voice ~~ just I think only, for it's very near to the stage at all). Then he replied in Korean. An interpreter translated that he still had no plan to come to HK.

Fans' self-making video(s) from different countries were presented on the big screen at the stage, so Binnie was invited to come down to the first row to watch the videos. He alighted the stairs from my side and headed to the empty seat specially set in the middle column for him. When he passed by the aisle, my Binnie at my sight became more closer and more realistic. After the plays were finished, he stepped back to the stage, at this moment he felt very touching and seemed wordless to express his thankfullness to all his fans, with reddish eyes and husky voice, then bursted into tears, with his head facing backwards.....somebody handed tissues to him.

We did a dance with hands and shoulders at our seats and we swayed our fluorescent clubs to & fro dancing in the air (we did rehearsals in advance before the show was on). Binnie looked at us, smiling at first when he saw our hands/shoulders dance (with all light on so he might see us clearly). Later on, all light were off. By the time he saw 3 different colors of fluorescent clubs dancing in the dark, at this moment, he stopped smiling for he was sooooo impressed by the moving scene. I noticed that his eyes were full of sentiment ~~~ feeling being loved and supported by all his fans from different parts of the world & from local fans.

He selected some gifts from the stage and the slot-machine that he drew ~~ where there were many eggs kept inside the machine. Each egg contained a letter. One of the letters was from me, haha !

Anyway, when I played back the 2005/2006 birthday vod, he was still a bit shy. But at 2007's, he was in great self-confidence when he faced the public. He didn't feel very shy this time, maybe he's got a lot of stage experiences this year, especially 2 times in Japan with 5,000 fans. He looked more matured in his behavior. He could handle it deliberately this time, what I mean is "without fear". Hope he can perform very well when facing more fans this coming Oct. 20 in Japan.

It's worthwhile to join his birthday party this year for he spent 2 hours on the stage and I've got a lot of gift. Can shoot a pix of my trophies to you when I come back home.

I went to StarM too, with the help of some Japanese fans who made prior appointment. They sent me 2 posters of his wheat tea commercial. When I left the office, I told one of the guys there that we HK fans love him sooooooo much and asked him to convey my message to him. He promised. Finally, I discovered that that guy was Binnie's assistant. Haha.

I went to "Four Season's House", where the place keeps all the stuffs of the drama - "Snowqueen" , including "Tae Hung's full set of uniform". We might even touch it. Can show you the pix later on. His pants in grey was very long. i.e. his legs are very long, at least 44 inches long in length, I think.

I had happy & great time spent in Korea.

Hi gerilyn - JDG isn't in Korea at the moment, he's in NZ shooting a movie until December. I'm also glad hearing this news that he'll have another drama after SQ & with JDG at that, huh!!! But wondering how can the latter be available for filming next month when he's busy shooting another project. We'll just wait & see.

i think he was still not fluent since it's not that easy for them that almost all his life, he can only speak Korean. but it's good thing that he studied english and practicing it now.

As u were wondering why binnie's spoken english is limited...well, his command of english is pretty good actually compared to a lot others..lol...
They sturdy english in high school and college as 2nd language in Korea but they can't really speak well... due to lack of usage and practice..lol... coz korean dun speak english at all back home...but can understand...lol..
But for those ttat live abroad or sturdy overseas.. they are very good and fluent with the language..

Hai......urika Domo for all the pixs esp. the ones on SNOW QUEEN! They are really great! I'm really glad that Snow Queen is going somewhere over the next few months like to Thailand. To me, it deserves a wider viewship. I like the storyline....if watching SQ 3x is considered great, then I have beaten ppl at it by watching it for at least 6 times! Gosh! I cannot believe it myself shinji te.... Anyway, I'm giving SQ DVD to a friend as an advance Christmas gift; she is a maths wizard, and is exposed to Maths Olympiad like Han Tae Woong in SQ. I want her to explain the Maths thingy that Hyun Bin as Han Tae Woong explains like a professional and expert, after watching SQ. Selfish me, isn't it? Well........she comes in contact with Koreans everyday so probably she can read their minds better than I do. I bought an expensive CD of SQ but sad, not all songs are there esp. there is one sang by a female singer. Don't know her name but well.........still searching for that song. Hello to all binnies! Seems like there a lot of new loonies here already... Our Hyun Bin did not go to PIFF, as well as his Hyung Jang Dong Gun. But I watched JDG's interview over at CNN, wow! He is so georgeous and so down to earth. I just wished JDG had spoken in English to amaze more the viewers. I hope Hyun Bin will be featured also on CNN, and will speak in English. Star M is really trying their stars to go global, Hollywood it is! JDG is already in the process of getting into it. Did you know that Star M is the one responsible for Rain's World Tour? Hyun Bin is so lucky to be in Star M... I hope he better polish his english well, to conquer Hollywood soon...

The heartthrob singer-turned-actor whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, is also noted for acting in the drama “Full House,” which was highly popular in Korea and around Asia. The hallyu star previously ventured out on a world concert tour and is now set to make his debut in Hollywood with the movie “Speed Racer.”


Born in 1976, actor Song Seung-heon started his career as a model. Song is noted for his role in Korean dramas like “Autumn Fairy Tale” (2000) and “Summer Scent.” Discharged from military service last November, Song plans to hold a large-scale project in Japan to mark the 10th anniversary of his debut. Song will hold a fan meeting at the Saitama Super Arena on Feb. 16 next year and will release a photo DVD on Jan. 25.


Actor Kwon Sang-woo, born in Daejeon, South Korea in 1976, became popular through his movie, “My Tutor Friend” (2003) and the television drama “Stairway to Heaven,” (2003-2004). In the latter, he co-starred with another hallyu actress Choi Ji-woo. Before becoming an actor, he worked as a model. Kwon is also renowned for his muscular body shape.


Yun Eun-hye is one of the hottest young stars in Korean entertainment. A former member of girl group Baby V.O.X., Yun shot to stardom in her debut role as an ordinary girl-turned-royal-princess in the “Princess Hours” in 2006.

The 23-year old actress followed it up with “The Vineyard Man,” and most recently, “Coffee Prince.” She is reportedly one of the highest paid actresses in television, commanding 20 million won per episode.

I remember seeing both HB and Jang Dong Gun on telly sometime ago. Both were sporting long hair plus moustache. Back then I was still not really a fan yet but I'm now! Reflecting back, I think HB must be in the midst of shooting SQ cos' I recognised that unforgettable look of his there. The upcoming movie between these 2 star K-players is not confirmed yet? How sad!

I do think that when a star crops his or her hairstyle, my guess is that a role is in the pipeline. Matte ne wait for more news.
