HYUN BIN at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal Singapore this afternoon around 1:30 pm...

DROP DEAD GORGEOUS..!







I was late when I reached the ferry terminal at 12:55pm bec they were already seated in the VIP lounge.
Although they could have been seated with their backs to the entrance of the lounge, HB sat to the left of entrance and SHG to the right of entrance.
So whenever the door opened, we could catch glimpses of them unless obstructed by the minders and staff guarding that door.

I did not see director Pyo

HB was looking down at his handheld device (probably games or video) most of the time and several times he tousled his hair with his hands till every hair was out of place ! He was wearing tank top.

Then at about 1:15 to 1:20 pm, his 'manager' (not the usual guy, i think) came out 1st and told the fans standing just outside the door no pics or dont follow (I'm not sure bec I was a distance away from that door). Then HB and a few crew members stepped out and went out the main entrance for a smoke.

I went out through the cafe (Killiney's) and ended up outside but in the opposite direction.
So there was absolutely no one between me and HB (smoking away) in that 10-15 metre distance.
I walked towards him and his smoking kakis and said "안녕하세요" (means 'hello').

That alerted the 'manager', who started to raise his both arms sideways in a protective manner.

I said one more sentence "싱가폴 오신 걸 환영합니다" (means 'welcome to singapore).

As I was about to walk away (bec I dare not ask for handshake or autograph), HB took off his headphones (you can see from pics that he had cap, sunglasses and headphones on his head all the time), tilted his head slightly to his right and slighted inched forward a bit to hear properly.

So I repeated that sentence and he responded with "예" (means 'yes') and was smiling.

Then I walked away, another 5-6 steps before I came to the main entrance where the other fans had been held back by a female staff.

So I was literally barely a metre in front of HB and face-to-face ! I was a bit disoriented by his sunglasses, dunno to look thru them or at his smile, until I forgot to notice his complexion and I think I was so near that I could not focus his whole face but only from his sunglasses to his smile.

After the smoke, they went back to the VIP lounge and got ready to walk thru immigration, that's when I took those photos.

The 'manager' walked closely beside him the whole time and held his papers at head level.

But when they had to walk in single file thru the x-ray gate, so HB went ahead just in front of 'manager'.

The moment HB picked up his bag from the x-ray machine, he turned round and waved goodbye to fans thru the glass doors.

From there to the passport inspection counter, in that 6-10 steps, he turned round a couple more times to wave goodbye for quite a while.

You could hear the appreciative ripples of murmurs of the fans there each time he turned around to wave goodbye.

urika: thanks for posting up that fan account of her encounter with binnie (what a lucky girl )...disappointed to hear that binnie smokes though...for some reason, i never knew that...although i'm pretty sure he's not a heavy smoker, i hope that he quits soon...it's terribly bad for his health

on another note, binnie in a tank top i love how he waved back at his fans a couple of times while making his exit...he treats the fans well

but what's this about binnie and SHK sitting on the opposite sides of another? so there hasn't really been much interaction between the two of them huh? hopefully as filming continues, they'll warm up to one another even more

Asia's largest and South Korea's foremost cinema event will run for 10 days, showcasing the longest lineup ever of 315 films from 60 countries including 85 world premieres. Korean helmer Yoon Jong-chan's I Am Happy'' will wrap up the festival Oct. 10.

Young director Abdrashev brings a story set in 1949 Kazakhstan, where a Jewish boy survives the former Soviet Union's forced migration of ethnic minorities to Central Asia. Yoon ('Blue Swallow' 2005) brings yet another story about deeply pained, 'unhappy'' individuals in "I Am Happy.''

The southern port city will turn into a cinematic playground, with 37 theaters around Haeundae Beach hosting the screenings. PIFF's feature film competition section, New Currents, features 14 works. In other sections, there will be 48 international premieres (first overseas screening after a film's domestic screening) and 95 Asian premieres (first screening in the Asian region).

There are 11 sections, including the Gala Presentation featuring the latest works by maestro filmmakers and Flash Forward showing pieces by rising young directors. The competitive short film and documentary divisions have expanded to include films from other Asian countries.

PIFF will welcome cineastes from near and far. Guests include Hong Kong filmmakers Tsui Hark and Wong Kar-wai and Italian helmer Paolo Taviani, and actors like Hyun Bin Lee Bo-young and Haruka Ayase.

The 13th Pusan International Film Festival has announced the actors and actresses who will show up for the upcoming opening ceremony on October 2nd. In this year, rising film stars from across the world will visit Busan, making the festival glorious.

Ok, girls. I suppose you all ve seen Bin Hyun s red carpet walk at Pusan ( just search for "ヒョンビン PIFF red carpet" on youtube). Please, let me know, did you HATE it as much as I did?
I mean, come on, he was rude! He stepped on her dress, he didn t even look at her, not mentioning not giving her his arm to help her go in heels. He was not gentleman at all, they didn t have any contact, no chemistry, no nothing.
I didn t expect them to hug or anything on red carpet just because they are co actors in one movie, but still..his behaviour wasn t very charming, you must admit. All he cares about are photographers and fans (which is not a bad thing), but it seems to me he has no charizma on red carpet.
What are your thoughts?
