As a result of Korea's social phenomenon, the mini series [My Lovely Kim Sam Soon] became very popular in Korea. Mr. Hyun Bin played a role as "Jin-heon" who is a rich, handsome, upper class man loved by so many women. How do you feel?
I portrayed the "Jin-heon” character from many different perspectives that people might have the common impressions of a rich, upper class man. He's very rich and seems to have everything; he actually lost things that are important to him in his life. He's often bullied by the ordinary-looking women. It makes audience can relate to. Men don't crazy about ordinary-looking women in general. I don't think Jin-heron’s story will happen in real life.

In [My lovely Kim Sam Soon], you portrayed "Jin-heon" as a 27-year-old executive. The character is 5 years older than you. Did you have any difficulty of portraying "Jin-heon"?
People think that I appear more mature than other guys at the same age. It made filming much easier. The most difficult part is the body language and the words used by the character. The characteristics of "Jin-heon" were defined according to my personality and some other young men characteristics, then they made some slightly adjustments.

You become a supersatr virtually overnight because of this drama. Things were not always easy for you. Your first role in a movie is [Shower]. Because it's a lower budget production, it didn't even know when it would be on screen. The next movie you're in is [Spin Kick]. It's only on screen for one week because of pushing by other movies. Looking backing at that time, what were your thoughts?
PS: [Spin Kick] were replay on big screen in 2005.
[Shower] is a low budge movie. At that time, I was a junior in College and going to be a second year student. I went to this movie audition, and they gave me the leading role in the movie. I was so happy for that. Unfortunately, the movie was discontinued midway. Although had some regrets, I learned a lot about acting. Regarding [Spin Kick], my acting skills were not so great at that time. I went to learn and practice Tae Kwon Do. Some of the movements are still useful even now.

During the interview, Hyun Bin had showed a totally different manner from the TV character. Being calm and serious, he showed us that he's a humble person. He's wonderful to be around. He had good manners, was being polite and courteous. You'll in a very good mood when you listen to his nice, pleasant and magnetic voice.

In the drama [My Lovely Kim Sam Soon], Sam-shirk is an ill-tempered young man and has held a cynical view of the world, but yet has a sensitive side. During the interview, he woo women with speech like: "I like to has a romantic day with girlfriend", and "I can give up the celebrity status at anytime". In TV and in real life, he never ignore doing things that will make women happy.

At the end of the interview, Hyun Bin got up and shook hands with the reporter and the cameraman. He gave everyone in the room an impression of being polite and frank.

no, i just read in soompi that binnie left for italy, february 15. the day after valentine's. so i think that's what makes suna sad. because he would leave just the next day and he will leave her for a couple of days.

yeah! he left korea last Feb. 15! poor SunBin. they would probably miss each other that much that's why Suna unnie is so sad and Binnie oppa looked so not that happy while leaving. he didn't even wanna face the fans that are towering over him at the airport. take care Binnie!
