rains concert has been changed from 7th April to 14th April...and its at sydney olympic park now WOOOT im 5 minutes from there so its easier for me to go now...but still havent got tickets...anyone going, please PM in case theres changes or something...and i need to kno where to get the tickets too....xP

Appartenly, Rain's cincert in Taiwan isnt doing very well! Crazy! I would be first in line to get them if he did a cincert where i am. But, I know shame, i dont think thats going to happen.

To conclude that Rain is not doing well in Taiwan is an under-rated statement. To be able to draw 12,000 ppl to a concert is huge. It cannot compare with the number of tickets offered over an enormous size stadium that sits 25-30K ppl. It is also impossible for everyone to be free on the particular night of the concert. How many stars can attract more than 10K at one sitting? The Taiwan concert was so far the best in terms of creating the happiest atmosphere betweens fans and Rain cos they made him the happiest guy, the way he and his dancers re-acted to all those banners.

i got rain concert tickets for the Sydeny tour.. but theres so many changes.. i thot it was really suss at first because it was held at paramatta on 7th and now theres a change of venue to the 14th at olypic park.. and i got the tickets for parramatta venue on the 7th!! >.<

i dunno how the ticket will still work because the seating plan will b different. but i heard it will b a mosh pit so its all standing.. aRGh this is stressing me!!

Rain's World Tour concert is GRRRREAT.... He is really a world class entertainer... The only thing about the concert which is not up to expectation is the coordination from various countries for the venue, date & seating plans...The parties(organisers) that liase with concert was indeed disorganised. During his concert in M'sia, I had to run to 5 entrance doors of our Bukit Jalil Stadium(just imagine a huge stadium that can accomodated abt <>50K people) before I finally get my seat number labelled in one of the seating plan papers. It's a total disaster running over half of the stadium, wasting about 1/2hrs time & being told "your seat is at another entrance(as told by the offical worker wasn't even knowing which direction to point to for the correct location).

But the concert was ABSOLUTELY ENTERTAINING & RAIN was really giving 110% effort. The music was great, RAIN was fabulous & Thank God IT WAS WORTH EVERYTHING AS IMAGINE(Like dream come true)

Btw, anyone know the contents of the DVD on sale at the www.rainworldtour.com? I wonder if it's the latest concert DVDs... Sure would like to get my hands on it..

Question....for those who have been to Bi's concert more than once, does he usually connect with his audience so well, as his Rain's Coming in Taiwan 31st of March? He and his audience were having such a great time with their "whooo-hooo" moments. Bi was in such a festive mood...!!! I bet it must have been a memorable night for the audience....!

It was sensational for a Korean star and phenonmenon with all shoutings, clappings, singing and dancing of one big family gathering under one roof. They were having a whale of fun, everyone was happy so why ppl are making critics about his concert being disappointed in a land of non-Koreans who are familiar with Mandarin songs.
If you read the AFNews, Angela Zhang (wonder where she's from, a Taiwan singer?) deliberately staged a concert on the same night to compete with Rain, and it was reported a success.
2 concerts on the same night, fans split between the 2, the cause of some tickets lost.

so wat's the story on giving away tickets? I seem to have missed the details on that.

I was reading an article that usually taiwan concerts end up w/ some problems like sound system, lighting..etc. Like his last concert in Taiwan, I think the lights went out right? So how was this one?

a little sidenote:
Angela Zhang is a taiwanese singer. I heard when it comes to taiwanese music in China people would say JJ Lin is the best for guys and Angela for girls. She has a beautiful voice and in my opinion one of the few people who sings really well live. So I wouldn't be surprised if she did quite well also.

JJLin is from Singapore so is Stephanie Sun, why are they so popular in Taiwan than in their home country? Dont think their singing is really that great esp. Sun. I would imagine Jay Chou or WangLeeHom are better. BTW never seen nor heard of Angela before, therefore cannot comment. Wonder why she wanted to compete with Rain since they are from different countries, must show respect to welcome foreign artists, it wasnt a wise move anyway. It shows her arrogance that she wants to win & adopting this egoistic attitude is not good for her career. Want to be popular, must show humbleness and sincerity.

I don't want to go too off topic but there are quite a few stars from the pacific islands who take their career to Taiwan, not too sure why but cause I think they are chinese and more people are speaking madarin in Taiwan. And yes Jay Chou and leehom are number 1 and 2 bros respectively of the Taiwan music industry. And Jolin is the top female so iono why JJ or Angela hit so big in the China market. However, I don't neccessary think that she intentionally have the concert on the same day. And even if she did she should still have some quality to go fight against Rain. Well this is all just my opinion. :]

a chair for Rain's concert??? we dun need no chair for his performance... stop worrying about the chair thing, it'll definitely be a blast and bet u'll have loads of fun and will never realise that 2 hours simply have sailed thru just like that... trust me...

I have never been. I dont think I'll get a chance! I would really love to go. The bad thing is I live in England and no one ever comes here for concerts. Not that I know of anyway. Next time I want to go to Korea or HK when he does have a concert.

For those who are having second thoughts for Rain's concert in Sydney, who cares if you have to stand for the entire concert, seeing him perform live is well worth it. I have been to his concert in Las Vegas and Hong Kong. Although the performances are very similiar, seeing him smile makes your day. I have to admit, I love the Hong Kong performance more than Las Vegas as there was a bigger crowd and we got to bring in cameras. Although our seats were very close, we ended up standing for the entire concert because everyone else did...haha. Waiting for him to come to California...woohoo.

Yes they've done a really nice pepsi ad! I saw it in China when I was there over the summer, but at that time I didn't really know who "Rain" was, I had only heard of him from some friends. But they've done an ad together, so why not a song?

OMG i saw RAIN todai in SYDNEY!!!

MINGYO the person that organised the concert called our shop todai and he told us that RAIN was eating in a restuarant near chinatown.. the restaurant is called ZILVER!
and as soon as i heard abt it, my brother and i dashed down to the restaurant to see him, and outside the restaurant was alreadi alot of fans waiting for him to finish eating.
waited about 20 minutes before he came out and of course everyone went crazy and i managed to TOUCH his BACK!! OMG.. he was SOO freakn tall.. even taller than his body guards!! he had about 6-7 body guards!!

all the fans chased after him and he walked along GEORGE ST up tp WORLD SQUARE to his car.. a bit of a show off tho.. (no offense) bcos he was jus strollin along the busiest street in the city without even stoping to wave or say hi to us..anywais.. a bunch of fans chased after him and took pictures..
but ALL wells still GOOD.. he looks soo much HOTTER in real life.. and he seriously is really tall.. oh gosh.. cant wait for his concert on saturday! woo hoo!!

Well, he prolly didn't wave and stuff because he wanted to have some private time to eat when all the fans came up. Celebrities need breaks sometime too. But I'm wicked jealous that you got to see Rain!!

Korean singer Rain looks at an Australia koala known as 'Jaffa' before a news conference in Sydney on Wednesday. Rain, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, will perform in a concert in Sydney on Saturday night as part of his current world tour./REUTERS

The Stamford Plaza Hotel in Sydney on Wednesday was bustling with about 100 reporters and photographers from all over Asia and Australia. They were there for a press conference with Rain who had arrived a few days ahead of his Saturday concert, his first show in Australia and part of his "Rain's Coming" world tour.

Journalists from the Sydney Morning Herald, ABC TV, Rueters TV and other local and international news outlets turned their attention to the Korean pop singer who is rapidly becoming a global star.

Rain, in both one-on-one morning interviews and at the press conference, talked confidently about his feelings preparing for the show, the results of the tour so far and his future plans.

Rain arrived in Australia on Tuesday to find a crowd of 150 fans waiting for him at Sydney Airport. Despite a hiccup in the tour date -- the concert was postponed a week because of a venue change -- ticket sales have been going well. Even the Easter holidays didn't slow down the weekend bookings.

Rain will take to the stage on Saturday at Acer Arena, where other top international acts such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Beyonce Knowles have performed.

Rain Eyes US Debut with English Album

Singer Rain, who is approaching global stardom, announced plans for his U.S. debut during a news conference in Australia. The conference in Sydney preceded his concert tour in the "land down under."

He mentioned the U.S. debut plans when asked what he thought about being called the "Justin Timberlake of Asia." Rain said he's a fan of the U.S. pop star and noted that the nickname was first introduced by Time magazine when he made it on its list of the world's 100 most influential people.

Rain noted that perhaps there was not a better way to introduce himself at the time, but that the moniker will likely disappear when he releases his first-ever English album for his official U.S. debut late this year or early next year. Rain showed strong confidence in announcing his plans.

Some 20 Australian and 40 Asian media outlets including reporters from China, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia came for the news conference, comprising the biggest media gathering involving Rain since the star launched his world tour.

But omg, it was funny once, because my guy friend was telling me how he went to Las Vegas for winter vacation, and the first thing i said was "OH MY GOD DID YOU SEE RAIN?!", and he rolled his eyes and said "no, but we saw a huge crowd where he was performing and my mom was excited and wanted to get close and see until my dad dragged her away". (lol)

And afterwards one of my other friends came over and she asked the guy "So, how was your winter vacation?" And he was like "Well, I went to Las Vegas..." and she screams "OH MY GOD DID YOU SEE RAIN??" and he's just like "AUGH" and walks away. xP

But the possibility just seemed so cool xP

I'm so happy his cd came today,it wasn't supposed to come until April 17- May 1. Sometime inbetween then and I got it early. this is a big deal for me because I couldn't find it here in Florida so it had to come from Korea. Sooooo happy !!!!!!!!!!
