Oh so u have seem her twice, u are soo lucky, I have been in HK for many times, my relatives are living there so I almost fly to HK every year but this summer I won't Yeah I know if I go to any promotion of function that my idols have then i got the chance to see them but during the time I'm in HK I haven't seen any function of them or maybe when I see it , it's almost too late. I will check their time schedule better next time when I'm in HK

last year i went, and i went for the 2006 annual awards in december one. but i was late for a while, and charmaine went in already! then she left by the back door to get her car. soo didn't manage to see her! then the next day she has functions, but my parents already booked the ferry tix to go macau that day. so sad. i missed her twice in HK!
yes, next time do check the functions dates & all. but sometimes they won't say till soo early one. soo quite difficult also.

I like WAB too, it's one of my fave serie of her but YY isn't in the list if i should say which serie I like it will be (not in order) WAB, ROTC (Return Of The Cooco), LWOLAP (Leathal Weapon Of Love And Passion), AOM (Angels of Mission), TWF (The White Flame), CS (country spirit) hm I think this is my all times fave series of her and I really enjoyed every moment in the serie, include those part without charm

honestly to say, I think the poll is pretty pointless. In fact, I didn't even bother to surf through the tread or generally , any of Charmaine's haters thread. Why take time to go pick a fight with those haters while we can invest that valuable time into our love for her. I've seen enough of Charm's hating posts that I could careless about them. I understand we all love Charmaine and we all wanted to defend her; but don't bother to waste your time on those. There are always gonna be some people out there who would waste such time to go bashing on actresses that they don't like; it happens all the time and it's unavoidable. Why spending time on those people while we can spend it on many supportive and loyal fans of her, now that's something that is worthy of our time. I think I wrote enough of my points already, that's just what I think. Anywayz, I surely can see that you're a true fan of her, that's so great to know!!! Yeah I'm really a fans of her and a loyal one too, have support been her fans in 7 years now and liked her in 8 years

She've been my favorite for around 7-8 years too. I became a fan since HSDS 2000. Charmaine's character was so pitiful and she did a wonderful job being evil. Out of all her series up to this point. IMO, Country Spirit perhaps remains to be the best Charmaine serie ever! I love that serie so much and her acting, no doubt, was excellent and full of emotions . I watched it numerous times but never seem to get bored, two thumbs up for Charmaine, she did a superb job!!! More recently I enjoyed her acting in Angels of Missions and Glittering Days very much; and her singing in GD was also a plus.
The White Flame and A Herbalish Affair are also some of my fav. Overall, as a fan, I feel that she has made every serie so enjoyable to me. I'm sure every fan of hers feel the same way.

I really don't like the poll Jen made. It's so pointless. Love/Hate ?!?! I agree jelly_beans she is NOT overrated. Linda is the one who's promoted too much not Charmaine. I'm so pissed off, I've just read what they wrote in the Charmaine Hater thread... guess it was a bad idea....

Maiden's Vow is a really good series..Charm won tvb best actress with her performance in there...u shoudnt miss it..u wont regret watchin it..Charm's amazing in it! As for Glittering Days..Its also quite good...u get to see Charm's funny side..and not to mention her singing improved heaps!


And x_sweet_lady_x...never bother visiting charm's hater thread..its pointless...all they're ever gonna do is bash bash and bash charm with no valid reason..lol...so why spoil your mood by going there ...as long as we , charm's fans keep supporting her..that's enough..I'm sure Charm will be happy as long as her fans support her in everything she does!


charlie+...I never seem to get bored watchin Country spirit too! I love Charm's performance in there and i also love the story itself...But Charm has improved alot now compared to last time...charm is just amazing now! besides Country Spirit..I like her in almost all the other series..mostly series that she acts a lil evil...like Strike at HEart, War and Beauty etc..I also love her in PONR, AOM, MV, GD, LWOLAP, YY haha i actually like all of her performance after Country Spirit!

Yeah u are right. Allmost ever serie of her is great, but I didn't think that AR was a really good serie or maybe I shouldn't say that I haven't finish it yet but I will do it soon or later on. it's that I think charm was bad in the serie just that I think the storyline was a bit borring :P
I like AOM, GD CS too but I'm not a big fan of HSDS2000 I didn't like lawrence in the serie. :P But that isn't charms fault.

21st jan 2005
- i was waiting in the hotel lobby for her to come home. when i saw her in her orange cap, i knew it was her. my other friends were with me, yet they were afraid to approach her. soo i was the brave soul who approached her, and asked her if i could take a photo with her.
she willingly say YES, and while i was getting ready for the camera.. meanwhile she was adjusting her hair & all by looking into the mirror reflection outside the lift.
when both of us were ready, the photo was snapped. and i also took a solo photo of her.
i was really very very excited !! because it was my first time seeing her, and i was quite happy when i was the one who asked her, as normally i'm very scared (:


22nd jan 2005
- there was an event where charmaine & shirley attended. but i didn't attend, as i knew i couldn't make it in time to go to the venue. so i went to the hotel as usual, to wait for charmaine.
i didn't know the function was VERY short. when i saw someone who held a bouquet of flowers, i first thought it was charmaine. yet i couldn't confirmed, as someone who was beside her was blocking my view. only when she entered the lift, then i heard her voice.. then i knew it was her !! but it was too late, she went up..

a while later, she changed and came down. but at that time, i was on phone with my friend, and she was on the phone too. soo i didn't dare to approach her. i waited till she came back. and yes finally she did!! i went up to her, and by that time i've already developed ytd's photos. soo i let her signed and took a photo with her. before she went up back to her room.
then a while later, she came down.. and was chatting with my friends & i..
after chatting for a while, she went out for some window-shopping before coming back to the hotel..
in the evening, she went for somewhere, and she bid us goodbye before she left the hotel..


25th jan 2005
- this time i didn't see her at the hotel, because she has already went back to HK. and i didn't know. but i was glad that my friend who was working at the airport saw her! and my friend did me a biggggg favour, by asking charmaine to talk to me on the phone..
and of course i did!! i was toooo happy for this!!!
though the conversation lasted for ard 5-8 mins, but i was really very happy. that was my first time chatting with a celebrity through the phone..

- she came for Yummy Yummy promotion. and i didn't receive her at the airport as i was still in school. only went to the hotel to wait for her after i rushed home from school to bathe & all.
waited with my friends at the hotel. they were waiting for kevin, while i was the only one waiting for charmaine.
one of my friend told me to accompany her to the toilet, and while we were walking to the toilet.. we suddenly saw charmaine!! i was too shocked for words. she looked at us, we looked at her. yet i didn't mouth a single word.. my friend & i went to toilet as usual..
when we came out, charmaine was still there. then we walked off, and charmaine walked behind us.. hearing her footsteps made me very scared, as im always scared!!! =x

i wanted to pass her my letter & photos that she wanted, yet i was afraid. soo my friend helped me pass to her, saying that its me who gave.. in the van while about to leave, charmaine opened the envelope and when she saw the photos, she was smiling & she seemed happy [my friend noticed it & told me]

then i waited for her to come back at night.. and when she was back.. i managed to take a photo with her, and a solo pic of her..
she was wearing green, and i was too !! just different shades of green..


20th sept 2005
- last day of promotion.. the day when they were flying off..
the promotion was at somewhere. and my friends & i went too. we were waiting for the lift to go up, when suddenly charmaine appeared in the lift, wanting to go out.
i think she can remember me..
but i didn't approach her, as she was busy..

i went to the airport after the promotion event to send charmaine & raymond off..
initially she was queuing to check-in.. after she had finished all the procedures, she came to the fans' side. and all of us took turns to have photos taken & autographs signed.
i took 1 photo with her using my digi cam. and after that photo was taken, charmaine automatically asked me "how's the photo? can i see it?"
when i heard that, i was stunned & shocked! and of course, i let her see.. and she was smilingg. i was really very happy, because i didn't see her initiate talks to other people ..
then later i told her that when i see her the next time, i will develop those photos & give her.
she immediately said OK, with a big smile
then later i took another photo with her using my handphone..

while charmaine & raymond were walking off to the departure hall already, one of my friend asked if can CHARRAY stand tgt, so we could take photos of them..
both of them gladly agreed!
and if i was not wrong, charmaine looked into my camera without me signalling to her??
i'm not sure about this..
and yeaa after that, they went in.. and we said goodbye..

yes, my country is like that. all HK movies & series are dubbed to mandarin, which made all tvb fans very very pissed. that's why sometimes we rather rent & download! at least we are able to hear their original voice rather than dubbed voice, which doesn't have much feelings.

Charmaine seems like a very nice person! After reading what u wrote..i really believe that she loves her fans alot hehe and she appreciates her fans' support!

I think the nearest i got with Charmaine was when she came to Genting, Malaysia with some other WAB casts..when she was singing onstage...her singing was quite good...but i only got to watch her from a very long distance...But the experience was still very memorable...That was my first time seeing her in person..and that was when i started to become a big, big fan of Charmaine!

Oh another quick question haha...Is charmaine prettier onscreen or in person? lol...i heard from some other fans that she's prettier in real life! I hope its true cause i really wanna meet her!

Like many of you, I didn't enjoy Always Ready either. The story was just plain boring. I didn't bother to watch it a second time and I did rewatch most of her series at least twice already. I thought Charm did a good job in AR, but not as outstanding as some her recent series, maybe because I didn't enjoy the development of her character (Carrie) and the storyline indeed wasn't very attractive. If it wasn't for Charmaine I would have given up on that serie haft way through. Back while ago, I decided to watch Time Off [mainly for Charm] but turned out to enjoy this serie alot, it was a nice serie with a good theme. HSDS 2000 and PONR are both good series, but there are things in these series that bother me. HSDS 2000 I was totally heartbroken and raged with anger when Lawrence left Charmaine at their weddings, I was extremely mad at him. PONR I can't get over the fact that she ended up with Julian after Sammul died. It just seemed a little wrong to me. I just rather see them as friends in the end, but hey they do have a lot of chemistry together as couple. ROTC was so touching!

tvbmagic, you're one lucky fan. I want to see Charmaine so bad but dont' think i'm gonna get that chance soon I want to visit HK someday but that day's probably not gonna come anytime soon. Anywayz, I guess seeing her again, onscreen isn't that bad, I'm starting to miss her series already, have to wait a few more months 'till Drive of Life. Charmaine is definitely not getting promoting. I'm pretty excited for this serie, even more than Forensic Heroes II with Bobby and Kevin. But then again I'm a crazy fan of costume serie so that might explains it.

humm. there's a high chance that might be the serie that Charm has mentioned in the DOL live chat, since according to sehseh blog, the unconfirmed cast included Jordan Chan. There were also Keneath, Leila and Kate Tsui, but as far as I know, all three of them are filming for a serie called "Hidden Master" so I guess they won't be in Charmaine's new costume serie after all. As for the pairing, I would like to see her with Jordan too, but Michael is ok also, I really like him in VOH.

Did you guys read about those Charmaine's haters "celebrating" that "news" about netzizens voted for Charmaine to leave TVB to go to ATV? I think that's bull! They are just all jealous of Charmaine's popularity! Probably all Myolie's and GiGi's fans who held a grudge against Charmaine!

Charmaine has said in a news that she still has a 3 years contract with TVB so there is no way that she'll be leaving TVB soon. Charm's getting more and more popular, expanding her carrer into China market so I'm really happy for her. I'm getting confused after reading you guys' discussion on the serie "Chan Mong Kat". But then I have a feeling that TVB will change the script in one way or the other so that might clarify alot of the confusions. Charmaine cracked me up in Maiden's Vow (3rd generation) and especially in Angels of Mission; therefore I'm so eager to see her in this comedy. It's gonna be great, I have high expectation for it already, plus Qing is one of my fav. dynasty. As for Forensic Heroes II, to be honest I'm not real excited about this serie, I mean I'm still looking forward to see it but it doesn't really interest me that much. I watched "Witness To A Prosecution II" and liked Bobby and Charmaine, but not so much as a couple, I can see them have more chemistry as brother-sister relationship. One of the major reason I'm anticipating in FHII is that both of my fav. actress and actor are in it. As for Kevin, I stilll don't find sparks between him and Charmaine, despite the fact that they acted as couple in 3 series already: LBAF, PONR & YY. I do think they look good together physically, but as for onscreen chemistry, they're just ok, didn't really grab my attention >

Yeah charm and kev haven't that great chemistry, if I should be honest I think that kev haven't good chemistry with anyone I don't think he is a talent actor, something is missing but I can't say what it is. Anyway maybe this time he and charm will make a better chemistry together
