I think QE has changed for the better when it comes to making friends. QE is a very sincere and sweet person and if she comes across people who are sincere and nice I think they will hit it off really well.

The fact that QE and the two YY co-actresses are close came as no surprise because they went out many times even after filming. And Zhang Xin Yu has written in her own blog several times how much she admires and likes QE and how QE takes care of her.

The fact that FZW rushed from somewhere far to join them was more of a surprise to me. Seems like FZW is getting close to the gang in the short time he joined the YY cast. I have a feeling FZW is getting close to QE because in YY, FZW is filming with QE most of the time and QE once disclosed that they chatted very well together.

But yeah. They have the most scenes together. It's always either FZW and MD or FZW and QE. Or the three of them.
And I heard fans say that FZW drove QE to/fro from the filming once or twice.

Yep, I think QE tends to get along well with people after a while. Remember her saying that she and Xiao Qiao got 女人缘, they get along well with other girls. Like how after RPS she become good friend with Ah Dan and Xia Yu Qiao, looks like now she has a few more good friends. Maybe we will she them on XNDZC or MXQB soon, especially Huang Zhi Wei I sure he will really be good at the games in MXQB.

Also love the part where she said that they are competing who is more daring when it comes to eating animal intestines. Don't know whether Fan Zhi Wei will be suitable for the prince role, but I sure don't mind them starring in another show together.

Ok, right now, very hard to imagine who will be suitable for the Prince role since we don't even know what role it is suppose to be haha.
But I hope they put in effort into choosing that really suitable someone.
I know Chen Yi is heavily criticised by Taiwan people for not looking suitable for baseball. Too girly or something like that.

She said she felt like crying.. aww.. I feel so bad for her.
I like all the pictures with Xiao Xiao Yu and the actress that plays SXH (I can't get myself to remember her name..). It makes me feel liek QE gained some more "close" friends in the process of filming YY.

The new blog entry seems so pensive. I think maybe she has a good impression of the guy or is curious about him, but find it a pity that because of her own silence she missed a potential good friendship. At least that's how I read it, QE's words sometimes can be so..... deep. Loves those black and white photos, really brings out the pensive side of her.

Since knowing QE 6 months ago, I have watched many of her old and new programs but never feel like this. Initially I was still able to say 'she looks good here', 'she doesn't look good here' and still feel that I am in control....

I know how you feel Me too. The biggest pleasant surprise for me in YY ep 15 is when XT appears in that business suit. Somehow QE just keep getting prettier and prettier. I like the new black and white pics in her blog, brings out the more quiet and thoughtful side of her so well.

Really hope that she acts as a more independent woman in the new drama. XT is like the epitome of the devoted girlfriend already. So I really hope to see a new character in her new drama. From the pics, I think QE can also act as a savvy business woman type.

She has just been promoted to VP when her wayward younger sister suddenly died leaving her only child, an eight years old girl in her custody. So QE's character have to deal with a new person in her life, and though the child, slowly regain the humanity she thought she had forgotten...

QE's been updating her blog a lot lately.. only one or two days (?) difference when she's got another entry in!
I really wonder where she has all that time to type these blog entries.

Even so, this entry seems a bit more towards the serious side.. I don't see any smilies, and she keeps putting "..." after a lot of the phrases.
So I guess she was sort of talking to herself as she typed? This doesn't really seem like QE style.

Was watching MXQB today and there was the preview for next episode which takes place at a fire station I think.
Suddenly thought of how QE would be if she act as a firefighter...
It's such a cool role I think. I can still remember the Lie Huo Xiong Xing(somethinglike that) Hong Kong drama that I watched a logn time ago that was on firefighting. It was super cool.
QE seriously should take on a greater variety of roles.

Choco, one HUGE warning before you watch YY: the plot is very unorganized.
Regardless of how hard QE worked to portray Xia Tian (XT) there, really, YY is a very unattractive show. QE worked so hard to do a good job in YY, and this is what she gets?
Anyways, QE is very, very pretty there, but the storyline is just terrible. Don't expect too much.. but you could expect a lot from her beauty there. She is adorable!

By the way, more introductions for you (since I'm "responsible" for turning you into a QE fan ):

* Sun Zhong (SZ, Sun De Rong): We really bash him a lot (in general), so expect us to say bad things more and more about him. He's QE's manager.
* J-Star (Jungiery): This is her company's name (managed by our hated SZ). We're all hoping for her to leave J-Star in 2008 sometime because we all just really want her to get out of the management of SZ! See how that works? Haha.

Hi ChocoJiro, have you finished watching WZBQW? That is how I fell in love with QE. By the time you finished watching it the first round, then you watched it again and I must say by then it would be very difficult to get QE out of your mind.

Recently I passed my copy of WZBQW DVD to a female friend and she got hooked on it too...she watched it in total 3 times in a row.

One day she came to me and told me, "QE's acting skill is very good". I asked her "Shouldn't you be mesmerised by MD, you are a female?". She admitted to liking how MD looks but she kept on telling me how I should watch again and pay attention to the acting skill of QE.

Maybe I should have admitted to my friend that I have been watched WZBQW not less than 5 times (Tianyu scenes probably > 10 times) and I have always been watching WZBQW for QE.

Between Scissor and YY I think it is really difficult to decide which one to recommend. QE looks prettier in YY (especially after episode 6) but it terms of script, I think Scissor has a better one.

I was under the assumption that all of us here are females!
QE's fanbase is mainly female although she's so pretty and has such a great figure!
I for one watched WZBQW and only got mersmerised by QE haha.
My friends and I were all really impressed with QE's acting.

Scissor has a better script but it got pretty draggy/boring at the end, when Michael's character kindof turned bad.
Ying Ye has inconsistent plot but is overall, more interesting.
I like Duo Li and Xia Tian a lot though.
And Duo Li had quite a number of pretty shots.
I love the gown she was in when she attended her bf's birthday party(the one where he broke up with her). And then she ran off, fell and cried. That whole scene was REALLY great!

Yeah, I think the impression is that QE has more female fans than male fans. However, I think that the impression is somehow misleading because of the fact that most males do not go online to discuss about idol drama or celebrities.

I think QE has attracted lots of male fans since WZBQW and especially in the last 1 - 2 years after she transforms into the feminine and beautiful QE today. In the past QE doesn't show her figure at all, but lately things have started to change and guys will not fail noticing...

Recently I was listening to an old 7F radio recording when I heard something interesting. According to 7F, QE apparently has a lot of 'mothers' fans and they brought their kids along to the album signing events and told their children 'this is Tianyu!!'. Even mothers could not resist QE.

Actually, I could be trying to fish out more compliments on QE's acting from my friend.

I need more reasons to justify my 'unusual' fascination on QE...

Sometimes there's just no reasons though.
There's so many great actresses out there(not just in Taiwan) and many of them are cute in their own ways too but they just don't "click" with me.
I don't have this huge fascination over any of them although I think they act really well too.
There's just something about QE that attracted me and made me love her so much.
The x-factor maybe?

I think sometimes having someone as your idol is just something that doesn't really have a reason.
It's like somehow you're just attracted to her, find her talented and started observing her.
And falling in love xDD

Yeah, I've liked other actors and actresses. But QE is the only one that make me obsessed. She is the only one that makes me search out all her old dramas and variety shows. She is the only one that has me liking her so much for so long. Why? I can't give a good reason really. But I just like her, even including her flaws.

In general, I prefer RPS to YY. Yeah, second half of RPS becomes melodramatic, although not as bad as YY. But I love the character of Ye Duo Li and I love the first half of RPS. But then that's my personal taste, others may prefer the more comedic style of YY first half.

Ahh.. too many reasons why you would hate SZ. We all do. And maybe a "100 Reasons why we Hate Sun Zhong" list would be filled very, very quickly.

WZBQW is 25 episodes -- really good length for a drama. QE is amazing there, yeah?



True. However, I feel that QE "clicks" on a lot of people, but they just have other artists that they prefer even more.
Generally, I've always thought that QE seems to attract the "elder group" more than the teenager group. The teen group usually goes to "not-as-mature" artists.
QE is very, very mature-looking, which is why it may not "click" with everyone.

To be honest, I think QE was only average with me at first. I didn't really have a female idol (and this was after I watched WZBQW). Very soon though, I began to start liking her more and more just by simply THINKING.
So QE has her own "method" of getting more fans.



I think comparing RPS and YY is just.. too hard.
Both weren't excellent storylines, but QE was outstanding in both (like always).

Of course everyone has their own preferences. I guess RPS was just too "different" type of drama for QE in order for me to view it, which is why I lost interest quickly.
But another reason is probably because I don't like her being paired up with Shao Wei. So I suppose it's just too.. subjective for me to say anything.

My main gripe with SZ is that he has never create any opportunities or spend any effort on her career. Even the people at SET seems to treat and appreciate QE better than him. I feel like shooting him just for freezing QE in 2004 alone. Then WZBQW is the highest rated Taiwan idol drama so far, and QE's performance as TianYu contributed in no small part in it success. Yet after WQBQW what did she get? SZ only promotes 183club and neglected QE in all the promotions. She only managed get RPS after a long wait of 10 months, and that was after a apparently long dragged-out negotiations with CTV. And his big mouth keep on offending people, thereby contributing to the poor image of J-Star and affected QE also. In short, SZ is in egoistic inept idiot who hampers rather than help QE's career.

But enough of SZ bashing, any mention of him always spark off another round of bashing. That's how much he is hated here. Let's just hope that he will not screw up the negotiations for Prince Playing Volleyball again, like he did so many times before. Until all matters are confirmed and CTV releases news, I am still anxious. J-Star has this bad habit of jumping the gun and releasing news of their stars' new drama before negotiations are finalized and contracts signed. Then when the negotiations fall through, they will release news blaming the other party for the failure and make excuses etc. In the meantime, fans like us can only wait anxiously and hope for the best.

YY's should have finished filming already. Hope that QE enjoy her break and recharge her energy. Poor thing, the past few months must have been very stressful and tiring for her.

I second you. NEws in taiwan are not reliable in my opinion. I am really hoping so hard that this drama is more or less confirmed. I would love to see QE jumping around in a pair of shorts. and obviously hanging out with more hot guys! SZ better dont ruin this for her.

Finally YY has finished airing and may i say that i am only watching it for QE. Initially i am watching it for Mingen, more for QE but by the end of the show. Not only the plot and characters piss me off, the couple turned me off too. I guess QE's acting skills and beauty is the only factor that kept me to the end. and for some weird reasons, i dont want to see a AJ/XT pairing anymore. it is not only AJ's character that turned me off but AJ kept touching XT in episode 15 and it just gross me out. haha. sorry, call me conservative but i dont like it. I dont dare to post this at YY thread for fear of drowning in a pool of criticism again. And it is just against my usual practice of supporting Mingen since i would like to see a DK and XT pairing which is highly likely impossible.

True, there are many pretty and cute actresses in Taiwan but i just love QE only. lol. she just bring out this natural beauty in her that many cant do that.

Oh, QE updated her blog again. haha, the way she wrote it i feel that she is referring to the guy she like or admire. and why the sudden change of language? lol. and the way she wrote recently is so ambiguous. lol.

DK, despite all the "bad" things he has done or tried to do, I can't hate him.
maybe it is because of the past he has that makes everything much more okay to me and make me not hate him.
Plus, I really think he's genuine when it comes to XT. Everything he has said and done for her and to her.
I really like what DK said to AJ when he went to find him after the flying bike stunt and showed him the photos.
I'm not supportive of DK/XT or AJ/XT pairing right now though.

XT doesn't love DK so I dont' support that pairing.
But although XT loves AJ, I think she has been hurt more than enough. And I still think that AJ doesn't understand her well.

Anyway, sad for QE that she can't go on her holiday.
Didn't she know about her filming and all beforehand?
Hopefully she can go on the holiday she wants at the end of the month(but that does mean that I have absolutely no chance of sighting QE in Taiwan when I go there?)
From the way things looks, PPV should be a drama for next year?
Or end/mid december?

I find myself support XT and DK more and more though. Kinda hope the dream scene is true, haha. Probably because the recent melodrama really ruined both characters (I mean XT and AJ), so it put me off. But XT has been getting prettier and prettier lately, so it kinda compensates a little for it.

Now I am kind of curious about the guy QE says she keep thinking of. The recent blog entry also refers to him? Wonder what kind of guy he is if he can attract QE's attention.

Right vicki, i am going to taiwan end of this month too. That means that wont be any chances of sighting QE. anyway, i do hope PPV will aired mid next year possibly june? But it is just quite unlikely since everything is unconfirmed now.

haha, meosles, i hope that dream was true too. I am rather supportive of a DK/XT pairing but since it is AJ whom she likes. *shrugs* QE is not only getting prettier but also younger. she just look so great in all attire she wore.

It might be a last minute thing, so she has to re-schedule. Blog says she is taking a few days off at the end of the month, so her holiday might not be longer than a week. You still have your change to see QE. Get your camera ready in case you see QE and take a few photos to share with us yeah?


June might be a little too late. I'm hoping more for march or so, assuming it doesn't take more then three months to complete the idol drama. June I hope she is starting on her next next drama already.

I think I won't take photos though, even if I see her, or maybe I have to take from afar. Since QE dislike it sometimes(according to her blog) when fans ask for her autographs and pictures when she's like doing her own stuff....

Ahhhh but just sighting her will be exciting enough.
Which is kindof an impossible thing. Taiwan is so big, and Taipei itself is huge!
I dont' even see mediacorp stars in Singapore when it's already so small.

Mid-june is summer, I think if PPV is as sports-like, school-oriented/fan-oriented(such as fans cheering for the volleyball teams, volleybal competitions etc), summer is a good time slot for such dramas.
Plus students are most free at this time.


Eh, I think June really quite alright.
I mean if filming ends next year March/April, I want them to have ample of time to work on putting together the drama so that quality will be good.
Ying Ye is an obvious case of what happens when things get rushed.

June air doesn't mean QE can't start on another drama.
Afterall, airing is different from filming.

Well they can broadcast it in june, but she starts on her next next project by then also. Will be an agonizing wait for us though. But then june also run risk of crashing with other high profile idol dramas too, like YY. So I don't know.

Now is the start of the agonizing wait already.

It's time for us to count how long we have to wait again.
10 months to RPS, almost 6 months to Ying Ye(Or is it 6 months and more?).
It's a miracle that we heard of PPV before Ying Ye ends.
But whether it does happen is another case
