So far she has not given any indication that her roles have influenced her views on love. If you read her blog, she pretty much said she is like Miranda and Mr Big in Sex and the City, that she understands why people runs away from commitment and longs for freedom. Well her views on love is certainly the opposite of XT.

Whoever her current boyfriend is, or whether she has a boyfriend doesn't matter. Maybe we shouldn't speculate too much ourselves too. I still maintain her private life is her own business. Most important is that she is happy.

QE's never really had an important spot in her life for marriage. I myself wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't ever married.

I think QE is smart when she says a woman needs to count on herself, which is true. But if QE has a man for her life, I don't think she'd count on him all the time. She'd probably think that it will annoy her husband, that's all.

I understand writing is one of QE's favourite past times and she is close to publishing her first book soon. She once mentioned that it took so long because she wanted to write all by yourself. In Taiwan, many celebrities don't write their own books...

But honestly, I wish QE doesn't write about intimate details of her feeling. Problem with a blog is that everyone sees it and one day, someone will bound to use her entries against her.

You know, for some reason we always seems to post at around the same time.

Well, some antis are already using her entries against her. But QE has always never been afraid to let her feelings be known, whether anger at people transferring her blog entries or her frustration at the slow pace of YY. It makes her vulnerable, but I admire her candidness. QE is probably one of the few stars where her fans keep criticizing her for being too idealistic.

Probably what we can do is to try to understand what she is trying to share with us. In QE's thread at least, try not to twist or misinterpret her words. If her own fans cannot understand her, than QE's own efforts to reach out to us is truly wasted.

He's another unconventional idol actor who marches to the beat of his own drum... and QE and he are the same age-- and he looks pretty mature... so maybe in the future? Anyway, he guested that day...

I think QE also finds Ryan Tang attractive? She (very mildly) flirted with him... but I kind of think it's a big deal because QE really doesn't do that often? She said, "Oh, seeing a handsome guy (shuai ge) in an apron... it's actually pretty sexy." And then Ryan Tang joked, "Oh, really? But I'm wearing pants underneath this apron; it is still sexy?"
In real life, he's too wild for QE ... but... maybe QE would like to work with him in a drama? She might admire his acting; he actually does a lot of serious dramas that can only be considered "idol" because of a couple of the actors in it. He's currently hosting a show in China, as well as wrapping up filming on a drama in China... but then he should be free!

It was the opposite.

What happened was that someone posted in Baidu MingEn Bar that a Taiwan blog has re-posted one of QE's blog photo. Then some QE fans misunderstood that it was a MingEn Bar member who re-posted and started to attack Baidu MingEn Bar.

QE then wrote in her blog how she likes to go to MingEn Bar because it was a warm place and how she likes to look at their fan-made pictures and that it was not MingEn bar who posted the pictures. However, she deleted this entry a few hours later.

I think I have an idea which incident you were refering to. QE was upset with one of the messages and replied angrily.

Nobody knew what the original message was. It could be anyone or one of the Anti-QE people. Any tom, dick or harry could visit her blog and there were also fans of other celebrities who were unhappy when QE's votes in some polls were higher than their own idols. Hence it is better not to speculate that QE was angry with a MingEn/Ming fan.

Unless it was another incident that I am unaware of...

Joe is active on the internet and has admitted personally going to Baidu En Bar and MingEn bar to fans. However, in many occasions, she told the other China websites administrators that she has problem remembering her userID and password and therefore didn't visit sites that require ID/password to access.

Eh, I think you and I are probably talking about different incidents because the one I was talking about was not during the voting period and it didn't seem to be over just one particular message.

But I think QE still knows about those fansites and visits them once or twice. Maybe not very frequently though but she seem to know them quite well sometimes(from the way fans say it when they like go support her in shows and all)

QE was really really brave! And I think she and Cheng Cheng have both quite overcome their fear of heights. There was this abseiling from 4th storey thing which QE did really smoothly(It made me wonder for a moment if QE really cried when she had to hang from the steel rod thing for Ying Ye the 2nd/3rd time! She was so brave here! No tears, no complaints.)
She's really getting very daring and brave now!

She knows about ShaoEn bar. One of the posts in the ShaoEn bar mentioned this before. Some ShaoEn fans visit her once and is surprised that she knows about them. She even said that it was Shao Wei who told her about ShaoEn bar. I think QE visits Baidu pretty often when she is free, as well as her fansites and the SET forums. But don't think she knows about AF though, the site she tends to frequent are the chinese forums.

actually, comments here haven't been really bad about Qiao En. I think mainly people are just criticizing her for her singing, which I could contribute to a little bit of as well.

Some people bash looks, which completely bothers me. I prefer people that do NOT do that, mainly because I think QE is a great actress and she is natural beauty. Her acting makes her look even more beautiful, eh?

I have the video clip on this incident. Downloaded it from Tudou. QE was in China last Dec 06 and a group of fans asked QE if she visits any of her fans' websites. The first website she mentioned was MingEn bar, then her other fans sites. Then someone in the crowd highlighted ShaoEn bar and QE then said she told Shao Wei about ShaoEn bar. QE went on to say Shao Wei response was "Why is there a Shao En bar? QE then made some comments on ShaoEn bar as well.

BTW, I have an update on this. Mark Selikoff (the one who was in the accident) is not the foreigner who appeared on the railway episode... that foreigner is married to 黃嘉千 Huang JiaQian, a Taiwanese singer/composer/TV host, and his name is 夏克力 Xia KeLi. This one's name is 石馬克 Shi MaKe and actually got into the car accident more than a year ago.

I guess QE found out about the accident very late?

Anyway, some universities are holding some charity concerts to help Mark's family.

Back to less somber/sad things, I also hated QE's outfit and hairstyle during her Mainland tour. She also had it when she guested on Zong Yi Da Nai Ba... didn't suit her face at all... and the clothes were... weird >_<
