其实准确的说，香港没有偶像剧，看港剧的人都知道，在香港TVB是一家独大。而且TVB在剧集主流创作上，不会太随波逐流，制作的电视剧主要是合香港观众的口味便成，所以对青春剧不太热忠也是情理之中。而在台湾方面，可能是本土剧品牌太弱，加上韩流的冲击，使很多台湾本土老牌艺人面临失业，有些则到内地寻求发展，台湾电视台虽然在引进韩剧的同时，也在寻求改变，开始开发本土的青春剧事业，这样一不用仰韩剧鼻息，二又可以开发自己的电视品牌，旋即引起台湾电视剧的一场革命，因而《流星花园》就是这场革命最成功的标志，并且时至今日一直影响着台湾青春剧的制作方向。台湾青春剧非常的公主与王子，情节充满梦幻，是很多年轻人心目中理想的恋情。虽然台湾青春剧很多都是改编自日本漫画，而《流星花园》也不例外，却很显出台湾青春剧自身的风格，从而杀出一条血路，创出一片台湾青春偶像剧的新天地。

　　《流星花园》一枝独秀，贵族王子与平民公主的爱情故事

　　其实从现在的眼光看，《流星花园》走了几个极端，这几个极端至今都是此类电视剧的必胜法宝：

　　第一，要帅就帅的完美。男主角方面，都是帅到极点，酷到极点，而且一个个个性十足，成了这类型电视剧收视的最必要卖点。重要的是F4的成员言承旭、周渝民、朱孝天、吴建豪这四个新鲜组合不管是当时，还是现在都是不可多得的花样美男。关键人物言承旭扮演的道明寺，绝对是一个要酷就酷得一塌胡涂，不会让人有装的感觉。打架，做坏事都很帅，很有型，这绝对是一种很新鲜的男主角类型。

　　第二，要有钱就有钱的彻底。道明寺，以及他的死党花泽类、西门、美作除了长的好看以外都是非常有钱，在道明寺家里不小心会迷路，对于路痴来说有必要配一个GPS来辨方向。这对于每一个女孩子来说都是致命的吸引力。这些男孩子都是些依靠父母才会光鲜照人的纨绔子弟，而且对女朋友慷慨的程度都是让人瞠目结舌，一度会让人觉得，有钱对爱才会有力度，因为道明寺追女生的方式，是需要有足够的财力，这并不适用于所有人。

　　第三，要专一就专一的绝对。道明寺是什么样的人，绝对有钱的公子哥，在学校是校园一霸，下至老师，上至校长都得对这位公子哥礼遇有加。就算在学校无法无天，也有学校保护，必定贵族学校学生的地位高低，不是看学生学习成绩，而是看学生的家族背景的。所以道明寺等几个公子哥们有绝对的权力在学校呼风唤雨，可是面对爱情，他们却变得相当无奈，这点从道明寺对杉菜，花泽类对藤堂静上就可见一般，对爱情专一让人心疼。

　　《流星花园》继承了韩剧的唯美，可选角却更加亮丽光鲜，言承旭，周渝民，朱孝天，吴建豪这四个偶像级明星，虽然是初涉电视剧，表演十分真诚认真，令人觉得他们贵气十足，帅不可及，是理想王子。而大S的杉菜，个性十足，富贵不移，重情重义，好一个平民公主。

　　昔日“F4”今日“飞轮海”，王子与公主—梦幻童话的升级

　　虽然对于今天的台湾青春剧而言，“F4”对台湾电视剧的意义是化时代的，但是时过四年，“飞轮海”已然成了台湾的后起“F4”，其成员，汪东城、炎亚纶、吴尊、辰亦儒横扫台湾各大电视台，成为新一代青春偶像天王，而王子与公主的爱情故事也在“飞轮海”主演的电视剧中得到提升。

　　《花样少年少女》吴尊传统王子与ELLA另类公主的爱情

　　《花样少年少女》是改编自日本中条比纱也的《偷偷爱上你》。可ELLA的卢瑞希假小子式的小女生形象，绝对是ELLA剧集作品中的一个经典。现实中可以心悦诚服的女扮男装，台湾可能只有一个ELLA可以令人信服了。“飞轮海”的招牌成员吴尊扮演的跳高男生左以泉，是一个有理想，很讨女生喜欢的帅气男生。一个是真男生，一个是女扮男装的真女生，为了偶像在现在这样的社会瑞希女扮男装去和偶像朝夕相处，是《花样少年少女》最大的看点和噱头。先不说这样的情节在现实生活中是否成立，但不能否认的是以瑞希的外型和行为使她成为一个很另类的公主，而吴尊扮演的左以泉则是一个很理想很传统的王子，如果公主不主动的话，这个王子就会迟钝的让人冒火。

　　《公主小妹》吴尊叛逆王子与张韶涵纯美公主张韶涵的动人爱情

　　只因公主早年失落民间，所以和王子相见恨晚。公主的主动成了王子无力挣脱的枷锁，而王子和公主迟来的爱情要如何圆满大团圆，就要看王子叛逆的心如何被公主力挽了。《公主小妹》有点象《流星花园》，原因有三：

　　第一，女主角小麦从小是在平民家中长大，这点和杉菜很相似。如果不是爷爷把她找回来，接触富贵，《公主小妹》就无从谈起。

　　第二，小麦入读的学校也是贵族学校，而这个学校可算是皇甫家的后书房，力在培养业届精英，这和杉菜入读的学校有些相似。

　　第三，当年《流星花园》是“F4”的集体演出，而此次的《公主小妹》“飞轮海”是出席了两名干将—吴尊和辰亦儒。

　　而重点是，“飞轮海”组合里个个都是主角级的人马，而当年的“F4”却是有主有次。这也是现在“飞轮海”的风头压过“F4”的直接原因。

　　《恶作剧之吻》林依晨平凡公主和郑元畅优秀王子的青涩青春

　　郑元畅的直树，应该是校园里所有女生喜欢的类型男生，脑子不是一般的聪明，学习不是一般的好，人长的不是一般的帅，家室也不是一般的殷实，整个就是一个美完男生。这样的男孩子看不起差生是很正常的，可是林依晨扮演的湘琴就是这么一个学习在差班，长的又一般的一般女生。如果不是命运把他们放在一个屋檐下，他们一辈子都不会有故事发生。这部电视剧也是对青春期男孩女孩对未来道路的选择，还有对责任的认知。直树在自己的理想与现实中选择妥协，是很令人深思的。而女主角湘琴对直树的完全付出，也不无令人感动。电视剧《恶作剧之吻》是翻拍日本的同名电视剧，可在内地台湾版《恶作剧之吻》的名气完全盖过日版，可见台湾青春偶像剧的威力之赫。

　　《斗鱼》郭品超的黑马王子与安以轩的善良公主的悲情人生

　　人生可以冲动的时间是不多的，年轻时的冲动是成年以后的一份厚重经历。《斗鱼》就是这样的一部年青人的黑道人生，就象郭品超的黑道大哥阿浩，讲义气，重感情，人又好看，虽然不是校园中人，但只要黑道能触及到的地方他就是老大，一个十足的黑马王子，所以他喜欢的小燕子就会很安全，是一个善良可爱脆弱的小女生，可是一但感情成为了她的重点，陷入了黑道，那么公主和王子的结局就不会完美。可是这又有什么呢，虽然后来小燕子成了燕子姐，不再需要浩哥的保护，可是他们疏远的身影，心却会靠的越近。虽然最后浩哥为自己冲动的青春付出了代价，可是他对小燕子的爱，会在小浩身上得到延续。

　　时至今日，台湾偶像剧对爱情的描写可以说是淋漓尽致，有很多新奇的看点，可是就表现社会现实一面就会差了很多，失去了很多亲民的成份。虽然每每都有很好的收视率，怎样看都不会觉得是身边发生的事情。这是台湾青春剧比较缺失的地方。可是在现在韩剧翻天覆地袭来的今天，台湾青春偶像剧能打爱情拍坚持到今天，独有一片天，得来是相当不易的。
