This will consider as a whole new experience for him. This scene is really real; it was no stuntman or any pretence at all. He admits that he was actually very nervous and terrified about it. On 15th December the cast of the series especially held an outdoor premiere in Shi Lin Night Market. Lin Yi Chen who is filming another series in mainland, China was unable to attend the event. But she promised that in the mid of January she will be coming back to meet up with everyone. At the moment, she will let her [husband] Zheng Yuan Chang to do the 1st part of the promotions and when she returned she will continue with the following promotions! In the first episode, Zheng Yuan Chang will have to sacrifice his idol image and becomes [Superman], even have to be held on by wires for 3 hours, having gigantic fan blowing winds at him, making him sighed and said [So hard being a Superman]!

The first episode of [TKA], Zheng Yu Chang and Lin Yi Chen will starts out with their newly wed life. While they are on the plane flying to Guam for their honeymoon, Lin Yi Chen who is playing the role as XiangQIng, can’t help but fantasizing her husband as [Superman ZhiShu]; and because of this very short, 3 seconds clip, Zheng Yuan Chang have to let down his idol image and becomes [Superman], even using the red and blue colors. In the Superman wardrobe he even personally prepares the brief that have the same kind of color. From top to bottom, it really looks like the real [Superman]. But Zheng Yuan Chang who has been hanging on by the wire for 3 hours, almost throw up the breakfast that he has just finished this morning!

Zheng Yuan Chang already had some experience with the wire while he was filming in mainland, China. It was quite fun but he added that: [If I was being hanging like that for a whole day, I think I will feel like dying.] Because he needs to be held by the wire, Zheng Yuan Chang needs to wear an [iron briefs] starting from his waist to his crotch plus a corset; so all the supports will be concentrating on the waist. Trying to provide the stylish way while Superman is flying in the air; no only the legs need to be straight, have to keep your waist too and using all the strength that you could muster since the baby days to support yourself. The facial expression needs to be [very natural] and having 2 gigantic fans to provide the wind; it was hurting his head until his feels like his head is going to explode, Zheng Yuan Chang laughed and said: [It looks simple when you’re looking at the camera but actually it was very difficult!]

Other than that, to let [Superman] look even better, they have added tons of sponges into the wardrobe so that he will look more [muscular]! But after the 3 hours of draining strength for portraying the [flight of superman], the sponges in Zheng Yuan Chang’s [Superman costume] were already full of his sweat! After taking off his [iron briefs] and [corset] and even though now his legs are facing outward and is as if he has [frog’s legs], he laughed and said: [After being hanging by the wire and wearing the corset, I think now I only have 23inch of waist, it really does has the effect to slim down your body!]

Even though the leading lady Lin Yi Chen was unable to attend [TKA] outdoor premiere, but she has especially recorded a VCR clip for the cast and all the fans: [I’m very sorry that I can’t be here with everybody at this very moment and time. But I am very proud because this series has used up 6 months of hard-work to produce and it is a very great piece of series. I am confident that this series doesn’t need to force any viewers at all and everyone would sure to watch it!] Lastly she didn’t forget to reminds her [husband] Zheng Yuan Chang to do the first set of the promotion properly and wait for her until the mid of January to continue on with the following promotional events and meeting up with the Taiwanese fans!

I love it!!!! At first the buffering was really getting to me but then after 30 minutes, I can watch TKA very smoothly and undisturbed!!!!! I love it!!!! Next week episode is still in Guam!!!!!

oh yes!...JOE/ZS was funny when he went to knock on his parents room and said HOUSEKEEPING...then did it again this time around SHOUTING out LOUD the HOUSEKEEPING word....waahhhhhhhh!!...JOE was cute still even when mad....waahhhhhhhhh!!

Then later while he was riding a bike, he was rushing over to inform the girl that her mother had fall down and hurt herself.... I love to hear him speaks Japanese!!!!! Like I've said yesterday, the first 30 minutes was pretty irritating... all those buffering.... then after that (just like yours) I was able to watch it smoothly until the end...... I even watched ISWAK again..... but then I have to go to sleep..... so I didn't watched the rerun of TKA.... And so good knowing Joe is watching TKA together with us even though everyone is in different location. But all the same, it is so sweet and 'Xing Fu' knowing that we are watching it together!!!!!!!

Oh, it has been quite calm in the thread since yesterday hehe... i understand, its difficult to stop watching TKA over and over again... Joe is really very handsome, we understand why women are all after Zhi Shu, nah ... who wouldnt go crazy over him hehe... Well, i absolutely loved the first episode, and i'm waiting eagerly for the second one... Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin are back, they are just the same as in ISWAK, but this time, and even if we have still our mean Zhi Shu, he can be sweet to his wifey... the balcony kiss was awesome, probably the hottest in an asian drama ... what can i say... if someone had doubts, Joe proved he is an amazing kisser... i would have loved to be Ariel then haha , i bet she enjoyed it very much!!! But as everyone, i'm very very disappointed with the bedscene cut... CTV showed them like 10 seconds in the bed? whats that? And even if i'm pissed at it, coz CTV ruined a part of the pleasure, i feel bad for Joe, Ariel and Winnie... I can understand their disappointment, they worked so hard on it, and they seemed to be very satisfied and proud of the results... And i find super duper nice that Joe watched TKA "with" us all and explained us the parts hehe *wanna hug him *... i mean, his messages showed how excited he was about it, how much he was anticipating it too... And poor Joe, we can feel how disappointed he was for the bedscene ... he didnt expect it to be like this... and i find really disrespectful from CTV to cut it without even telling the director and the actors... shame on u CTV... not only the fans are disappointed, but the crew who worked on it is too.. couldnt TV be a bit more daring for once!!!... and would it have been a problem to show the uncut version at 2am while everyone was sleeping?

TKA bed scene was too passionate; being edited; everybody watched!
[Give me back my Zheng Yuan Chang’s (bottom) cleavage!] Idol series [TKA] was premiere the night before yesterday. The ratings were very good. Lin Yi Chen is still able to withhold her unbeatable Queen of series title. Zheng Yuan Chang also wins against his best friend Mike He’s series [Bull, Fighting]. But because CTV personally edited out the 40 seconds of bed scene between Zheng Yuan Chang and Lin Yi Chen, a lot of fans were furious with it [Using the bed scene for the promotions and just simply edited out (during the airing of the series)]; even the good tempered Director Winnie can’t hold his furiousness and leaving his comment in the CTV forums. Winnie wrote, [I really didn’t understand why the bed scene was edited out? …… While I was doing the editing, I was having a lot of struggling and inner battle in my mind….. When [TKA] was aired the night before yesterday, it has reached a whole new record in the history of Idol Series. At first this should be the good moment to celebrate it but there are now a feeling of loathing between the TKA production team and the airing Channel. Yesterday CTV expressed that, the bed scene original time span is 7 minutes, the length that was edited out is only 40 seconds. The reason the scenes was edited out were because of Zheng Yuan Chang’s body was making a certain movements, a scene where the female is on top of the male, sounds and movements are overly passionate. Even though when the series was aired it was still under the protected hour, but CTV still has the responsibility to protect the viewers who are under 18 years old.

Actually, last year when CTV aired the series [The Hospital], the love scenes between “Cheryl Yang and Tai Li Ren” and “Ding Ning and her boyfriend”, even though both couples were having their clothes on but because the couples were having these certain movements in the scenes so in the end they (TV station) received a fine of TWD$9 millions for airing those scene from NCC. CTV wanted to stand firmly by their own rules and decided to do perform the editing by themselves.

And why they still used the [TV’s version of Lust, Caution] for promotional purposes if the tv station can’t air the specific scene? CTV expressed that, the scene in the trailer was included in the 1st episode, only different angles were edited out. But, next Saturday at 9:30pm, GTV will air the complete version of the 1st episode of [TKA].

Idol series [TKA] from CTV and GTV has make a startled rating on its 1st episode, The highest AGB Nielsen rating was 4.14 and with the average rating of 3.62; creating a whole new record for Taiwanese Idol Series.

Okay, I must admit I wasn't a very big Joe fan previously but ISWAK and TKA changed my opinion slowly, as well as watching all the outside-drama activities. I think Joe is a very down-to-earth and professional actor. Well here's something you guys are all waiting for:

I was totally wowed by the scene to be honest. It takes a lot to act such a scene with such passion with somebody that is not even your true love (though I doubt that sometimes given ArJoe's chemistry). It was so romantic, it wasn't even...sick, or porno. Just a truly romantic scene to illustrate a breakthrough in ZS and XQ's relationship, and Joe (and Ariel, omg her facial expressions) portrayed so well.

Looking forward to more of Joe in TKA!

I wasn't really a big fan of Joe, even after ISWAK, and I'm still not a *huge* fan, but I sincerely like Joe. For a big-time model and idol actor, he's shown himself to be a mature, genuinely nice/good guy who's also funny. Plus, he's really nice/sweet to Ariel (Lin), which is a huge plus in my book (since I love Ariel!) Heh, I guess I did fall in love with Joe a bit after I watched The Rose, though - Kui was my favorite Joe character EVER. Joe really impressed me in the The Rose - I can't remember how many times he made me laugh and cry because of his great acting. I appreciate Joe's good acting as Zhi Shu in ISWAK, too, but I miss Joe's real life expressiveness that he was able to portray in his role as Kui. Anyway, I'm babbling. Can't wait to see what Joe does for his next project!
