Lately been said by the media as having a brokeback relationship Mike He and Joe Cheng will be on the same stage in Shanghai for a promotional event. Unbelievably, the media all tried to go to this event, letting the event sponsor to be worried and kept the gates secured, in case there was some sudden conflict. Mike and Joe both generouslly expressed that the paparazzi was just trying to make news up, and they won't be awkward on stage together.

With swarms of paparazzi outside, the event sponsor just wouldn't allow the gate to be open, saying that there would be a high chance of a sudden burst of conflict.

What kind of charms does a celebrity need to have to have this kind of tight security? After the media exposed what seems like a brokeback relationship, Mike and Joe have been under tight scrunity, and this is the first time after that exposure they are promoting together, so the event sponsor feels that something might go wrong suddenly, so decided to keep tight security on.

As for Mike and Joe being on the same stage, there are girl entertainers separating them, even though they had smiles on their faces, but they had no contact with each other... does that mean they're awkward? I usually lurk in the ArJoe forum, but I popped on to Youtube today and saw a small segment that Joe shot for On.CC (I'm assuming it's some kind of Chinese media) and thought I would translate it for those that want to know a little bit more about Joe's thoughts on family. It didn't have anything specific about his love life or anything (a very hot topic apparently... ) but since is forum seems so slow, I thought that this would gives you guys some food for thought.

It's a very loose translation, but I did my best (thank god three years of chinese in college was worth something!)

The reason why I wanted to post this is because I (as are many of you) am well aware of how much family and friends (and lovers...) mean to Joe. Therefore, I thought that this little interview was very demonstrative of that, and it gives a little more insight into just how much he treasures such relationships. Because it didn't mention specific names *coughArielcough* I'm posting it here as a little slice of Joe's thoughts on the life, relationships, and family, interpretted by me.

I thought it was very cute and completely filial (also one of his better responses in dodging the "who are you most attracted to/in a relationship with" question) of him to think that his most memorable kiss(es) is from his parents, and furthermore, that the best kisses are with babies/small children because they have this very milky, "baby" smell to them. (I initially translated it as "fragrant" because I am hardpressed to find a word that can really translate to what he means. In American English, a baby's unique smell is considered "milky" and "powdery," to name a few descriptives.) When he later paints a picture of his ideal life, he has a wife and children - with the underlying idea that this is all he needs.

Hey everyone! I just recently got into joe....now he's my absolute favouritest artist! haha...before for me celebrities were just like eye candy mostly...but Joe is the first artist that I like all around - personality, looks, talent, even his laugh! I can honestly say that I admire him and that he inspires me. For the first time I'm attracted to an artist's personality more to his looks (that isn't to say that joe's looks aren't attracting!! i can just stare at his signature smirk for a whole day and not get bored! ) - the way he can just let go and laugh his head off in public, or how he doesn't really care about the little things...like wearing pj's to work and picking his nose in public (haha!!) are my favourite qualities of him.

i watched the clip and it's about i guess the first meeting between Joe and Vicki Zhao Wei..it was on a chinese awards night and Joe was one of the presenters and Zhao Wei was one of the winners..they were asked backstage whether they know each other..actually, it was Zhao Wei who doesn't know Joe by face but she has heard or read of him in magazines..funny her for she thought that joe was a korean..joe was asked next then he said that he knows vicki and have watched a movie/drama/series(sorry 4 i really don't know) of her..joe was kinda shy in there and was very polite probably becoz it was his first time to meet and converse face to face with a famous star such as Zhao Wei..

Who he is: Like Mike He, Joe started off as a model before he became an actor.
But his debut as the androgynous Kui in the drama serial The Rose with S.H.E. in 2003 seems to have set the precedent for the quirky roles he took on later on.
Why he's hot: It's all thanks to the highly-rated drama serial It Started With A Kiss.
He plays a super smart but icy cold student, Jiang Zhishu, whom Ariel is in love with.
Nicknamed 'Xiao Zong', the 25-year-old may not be as pretty as Wu Chun or as chiselled as Mike, but Joe has won fans with his fun persona and crazy sense of humour.
When he visited Hong Kong with Ariel to promote It Started With A Kiss last month, more than 1,000 fans turned up at a shopping mall to see them.

(and once again, im not bashing them...cuz also once upon a time...i hearted F4 sooo muchhh!)..but joe has been acting since 2003! and has done so many dramas...one can witness the improvements on his acting tremendously!

Magic Ring? 'twas a decent drama! a very...well, different plot than that of normal T-dramas...but that may just be b/c it was based off a novel..not a japanese manga! Joe yells a lot in there..and in this one scene towards the beginning of the drama..his hair was hideous. LOL...but oh joe, he looks mega cute in some scenes. muahaha..he's very..manly in that series! . did i mention he yells a lot? LOL...and hot kissing also. LOL...i once read joe doesn't like to use the tongue while kissing...im wondering if Magic Ring was an exception.
