hi all.. i've just watch ISWAK few months ago and i'm started to get embarassed by the fact that I'm still into the show until now, lol.. until i found out that the show actually aired years ago and lots and lots of people are still crazy about it.. guess thats because im new in this whole asian drama hype..
i used to watch mg and all but then im getting sick of them.. afterwards, i found asian dramas are typical, shallow, and depend on the actors' look to have ratings.. thats before i watched ISWAK and i def fell in luv with both of the main actors, coz they're really able to act.. i mean in terms of looks, ariel and joe might not be the prettiest/handsomest in t-entertainment biz, but maybe because ive watched too much movies, im getting picky lately.. and now, talent impressed me more than the looks.. especially in asian entertainment industry.. im not trying to be negative here (coz im asian too, duh) but im just saying i hate the fact that many many shows/singers depend on the appearance, making those that really have talent overshadowed..
ah enough ramblings, i just wanna say that im a new fans of joe.. for his talent, his personality, and ya, his shuaii-ness too..
since i have only watched iswak, what are joe's other series can u recomend? i've ordered the rose bcoz i noticed it once been a phenomenal series, and the fact that winnie also directs it.. what about magic rose? or nine balls? are they any good? coz i've heard bad reviews, but i wanna see more of joe.. hehe, thanks a lot..

I've read on someones blog that they went to the dvd fan promotional for the rose in Osaka. They said that they weren't allowed to take any pictures so most likely we won't get any candid shots. If there were any press there, it's possible that they'd have some pictures. Also if any of the reporters from Taiwan followed them there and had clips or pics but none by the fans.

They also described how the event begin which I thought was really cute. Ella went up on stage on one side and said "Kui, where are you?" then the curtain rose and there were fire works with the appearance of Joe. They were re-enacting the part in the rose where Kui was had to be a model and Bai He went to visit him (it's the scene you were asking about apple686. He sees her and they hug. That's how they begin the event. She said that Joe was really high this day. They discusssed any episodes they remembered while filming and what was the most memorable from the rose. He said that there were three things most memorable. The first is the scene where he realizes he's Bai He's real brother (I'm assuming after he thought there was a chance that they may not be brother and sister later on in the series) and he sat on top of a hill at night and yelled. His next memorable scene was having to kiss Jerry (the scene where Jin catches Kui coming on to Bai He and I believe this is the scene Kui admitted his feelings to Jin) He said the director made a lot of demands to the point they had to bring "feel" to it to the point there was saliva on his lips during the kiss and afterward (ew). Then he also said that the director made him kiss all three of S.H.E to practice. When asked out of the three who he liked kissing most and of course he said Ella.

Then they played games and sang the theme song from the rose.

"Haha, I met with Ella again in Osaka. I haven't seen Ella in a very long time ~ her outward appearance hasn't changed much. As always, Ella made me laugh a lot and that made me happy. Every time we would eat, waiting for the food to come out, she'd be like a funny talk show. I was laughing so hard, it made me even more hungry. Joe said at first, he was thinking of asking them to demonstrate the cheerleading part for the show but after looking at her bruises, he said no need to demonstrate. So sweet!

Then Joe and Jerry requested to demonstrate the kissing scene… LOL! I wonder, if this show was recorded after ISWAK would Joe still suggest them to demonstrate the kissing scene… LOL! But in the end the guests don’t have to demonstrate any kissing scene as they are more interested in boy kissing boy. LOL!

When they couldn’t find anymore topic to talk anymore Jerry starts to shake hands with the guests to kill some time and Ariel said [you’re trying to waste the time by shaking hands, aren’t you?] then Joe also started to shake hands with the guests. LOL!

In the question and win a prize session, Joe and Jerry need to give out the question and hints for the answer… That was really funny too as they don’t know how to give out hints. I think in the end they just gave out the answer really, really fast. LOL!

meoinkie2 I came across Joe through ISWAK. My god sister watch ISWAK for Jiro. She asked me to watch it because she knows that I like to watch the Japanese version ISWAK and love the ISWAK manga!!! I was busy with 'the other things' then... Later on I took a break from 'the other things'. Really needed that. I have a big gap there so I took my god sister suggestion and the rest is history.....

im pretty much known in my "barkada" (group of friends) as a freaking addict when it comes to asian series..so this friend of mine, she recommended that i shud watch ISWAK which during those times was shown in our local channel, the only problem is, it's only shown during weekends at a very early timeslot!! i was still a humble college student during those times so i was always at school or even at home sleeping..so can't actually catch up with the schedule..*sigh*
but then one time, while i was browsing through the channels, bingo! i saw ISWAK in that local channel, and the scene i saw was the part where XQ and ZS were in the office, XQ gave her letter shaped in a heart..aiyooo!! the moment i saw ZS, i was ahhhh!! he strucked me by lightning! hahaha!! gomen for the exaggeration..*winks* darn he's shuai!! aiyooo!! i don't know, i suddenly had this wide grin on my face!! probably infatuation on my part..*winks*
i was kinda weird during those times since i didn't even finished that certain episode,just after that scene, hir goes my thumb hitting on the remote again..
just after a few hours, my giddy feelings of seeing Joe just flew away..probably because i wasn't too much interested in the show..hehe..
months passed by..and ISWAK was totally out of my head..or so i thought..hehe..
one time, i went with my friends to the market to buy some clothes and ol and then i saw so many DVD stalls!! i was an addict for Kdramas during those times so i went to look at one..i've seen an ISWAK DVD displayed..i was hesitant to buy at first but then i suddenly thought of my friend, thinking that she might be delighted if i bought one, so i did!! hehe..
at our apartment, one friend of mine has a laptop so i loaded the disc..at first, i wasn't that enthusiastic watching it for i thought that the first parts were kinda boring and i was sooo disappointed with the subs adding more to my loss of interest to watch, so i decided to stop it for a while coz those times also were our review time for our board exams..have to prioritize studies first of course..
one time, i went back to my parent's house since we students were given a long break, knowing that my friends will also be going home to their own provinces, id rather go home too, i don't want to stay ol alone in the apartment..that wud be sooo boring! hehe..
since i've got nothing to do, i decided to watch ISWAK..for the first parts, it was kinda boring and im having nosebleeds becoz of the subs!! waaahhh!! but still, i just continued and then i found the series to be funny!! that's when my enthusiasm woke up again so i decided to continue watching..and waaahhh!! i just freakin got hooked!! i even cried so hard on the part where XQ was leaving the Jiang Family to move onto their new home..and the rest is history..really got soo giddy on their romantic kisses and i guess that's what made me love ArJoe!! and JOE of course!! hahaha!!
after i finished the series, for the next days, when i have time for surfing the net, it was olways about ISWAK, Ariel and Joe that i was browsing for!! aiyooo!! im now a certified addict..
there's still some more that i want to say..but im olready running out of English!! waaahhh!! and i've realised that my post is olready long!! hahaha!!

At 0:31 It was so cute and funny when they are swinging from side to side. Then Joe asked Ethan to sing but Ethan wants Joe to sing first so Joe sings "Jingle Bell"... Too bad that Ethan interrupt though.

In the end Ethan asked Joe why he wanted to sing in the show. Is it he wanted to have an album of his own. He keep saying no and said he just wanted to make the show more entertaining and sometimes he likes to sing or hum the tune too.

It's very short so don't worry about your streaming....

Actually, one of the news articles that came out yesterday did mention Ariel. I thought it was really sweet that Joe stuck up for Ariel. The article said something about how critics said Ariel was the "fattest/chubbiest" Huang Rong (LOCH) and Joe replied that "ariel really is very thin!"
