really! he might just be in the movie for one minute. Well, let's see if i'm right. I will go see the movie once it's out, and it will be out on October 13, on a Friday the 13th, which should be very exciting.

But he's in it. He's lucky to be in the Grudge 2. People were like he's the youngest to make it to hollywood or something -.- I dont really like him though...

i think he'll be in the movie more than 30 minutes... cause he's the reporter or something.

I looked up the cast list for The Grudge 2 and he was the 4th or 5th one, so i think he has a pretty important role..

eww... edison chen.. i hate that guy.. can't believe he made it to hollywood... he can't act to save his life and he's hella ugly! can't believe people actually find him hot.. no offence to his fans

I watched 'The Grudge 2' on Saturday and Edison sometimes had these funny expressions. Like, when he died, he looked weird. He plays a reporter named Eason (haha) from Hong Kong and wanted to interview Karen Davis (Sarah Michelle Gellar). He doesn't have any romantic scenes with Audrey (Amber Tamblyn) or anyone else and overall, he was okay. By all accounts, 'The Grudge 2' was more of a comedy instead of a horror film. Some of the acting was so bad it was hilarious, especially when that Japanese girl was like, "Mike...it tickles..."

Is Grudge 2 worth watching??? How long is Edison's role in Grudge. Does he speak ok english?

Edison was born in Vancouver and stayed there awhile, so he would speak good english

I agree with the part where Edison cannot act. I saw the movie last week and the roles that he played wasn't too subtle. He looks bit awkward. I ask the same question to how he made it to Hollywood...

maybe he can act in holloywood with his fluent english...

i watch grudge 2, the movie isnt that good.. lol but i saw lotsa of ppl that went to watch the movie just because hes in it lol... his name i eason in the movie :| hes speaks a LITTLE bit of japanese then the rest he speaks english... hes not in a lot of scenes... supposedly hes the main male lead but then the movie concentrates on the females so unfortunately he dusnt have a lot of scenes...

Daniel Wu...isnt he old-ish?? He wouldnt fit the role. Well, anyway. I used to be a HUGE fan of Edison...but not anymore. I watched the movie. It was ok. Yes, iut was funny! His expressions were so strange and like his speech is really...ghetto. You can tell by his tone and stuff. It's quite laughable. I wish he had more scenes...they split the movie into 3 parts and like...he died wayy too fast!!

his part is actually bigger than I thought.. but he isn't that great in it. His acting seemed stiff and forced at times.. Eh, I still applaud him for being the youngest to date HK actor to make it in Hollywood!

I have yet to see his movie but maybe with all the connection he gets from hosting MTV , people from US can relate to him.

Weather for 5 seconds, one minute, half an hour. He's still in it. I haven't seen the first grudge, though I've seen the korean one. So I'll probally watch the first America so I can see the second one with Edison.

i wonder if he is gonna speak english since hes suppose to be a japanese guy in the movie.

as much as i love edison, i have to admit... he wasnt all that great in the grudge 2. he was hot and all (not at his last scene tho ) ... but his acting was pretty crappy overall... i htink he shoudl jsut stay in hong kong and be the pretty boy we all know him as

HAHAHA..i dont think he entered hollywood anyway..he only has a short scene in the grudge 2 with not much lines to say..lol..they mostly choose him just because of the english..There are many actors out there who became the "khe le feh" in hollywood series as well. Somemore, the grudge 2 is a crap movie afterall with very low rating..dont think edison can go far beyond that..

I didn't watch the movie yet, but my friend told me his acting wasn't that great.

not worth watching to me... the movie is storyless but end up being scared a lot of times... without knowing the storyline...

from what ive heard, this movie is not really worth watching it, even though theres edison in this movie..

you guys seem to have forgotten his very very very brief appearance in The Medallion!! that was also hollywood. he was probably there for about 2 seconds. even Nic Tse had a slightly longer air time of maybe 30 seconds

HONG KONG: Hong Kong actor-singer Edison Chen, who made his Hollywood debut recently alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar in the horror film "The Grudge 2," is listed among the world's sexiest men in People magazine's most recent issue.

The 26-year-old Chen, a B-list actor and singer in Hong Kong, has seen his stock rise since crossing over to Hollywood.

Besides appearing in "The Grudge 2," People said in a brief item on Chen that he was collaborating with Kanye West. Chen is scheduled to open for West when the Grammy Award winner performs in Hong Kong next Tuesday.

"The Grudge 2" has made US$55.9 million (€43.6 million) worldwide, according to the Web site Box Office Mojo.

Chen's Chinese-language movie credits include "Infernal Affairs," which Martin Scorsese remade as "The Departed," and "Initial D."

hey i found this article in a magazine about Ed and his apparent cheating on Vincy, with her friend Rosanne or something like that, someone couldn't find the pics so here they are

idkk in a wayy .. in my opinion, i think that girl looks a little like josie from like the side view ..
