OMG, she looks so gorgeous in those two photos. I love the first one. It brings out her gorgeous eyes and her make-ups are just pretty. The posture brings out the elegant-ness from her. The second picture is so cute. I love the pose--so kiddish-cute.

She's 31? Wow, not a day old. Still so very gorgeous and sophisticated.

I watch 'Postmodern life of my aunt' the other day, I have to say, it wasn't as good as I expected and Vicki only appeared much later in the movie. What I do like about the movie was Vicki's change of role, her character was a 'bad girl' with a bad attitude...though I don't like this sort of role, but I give credits to her for the fact that she is trying different roles, and I must say, she actually portrayed the character really well.

I also don't like mainland movies, and it wasn't really a comedy, and the whole movie was draggy I thought...that's how most mainland movies are.

Overall I'll probably give it a 4.5/10 rating, because I mainly liked the parts with Vicki in it.

According to several Chinese newspapers, Chang Chen (The Go Master, Three Times, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) has left John Woo’s The Battle of Red Cliff and his role, warlord Sun Quan, has been offered to Liu Ye (Dark Matter, Curse of the Golden Flowers, The Promise). Based on the real historical event and classic novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, The Battle of Red Cliff will feature the decisive battle (208 AD), which split the Han Empire into three kingdoms. At the turning point of the battle, the joint fleet of Sun Quan and Liu Bei destroyed the invading fleet of Cao Cao in Red Cliff with fire.



Earlier this month, Leung Chiu-Wai resigned from playing Zhuge Liang, the chief advisor of Liu Bei. He said he would need more time to prepare for his role but there was little time left before shooting. Reportedly, delivering his line in Ancient Chinese with Mandarin was the major challenge for him. His role now goes to Takeshi Kaneshiro.

Vicki's new album
According to Chinese media based in South Korea, Vicki is currently taking pictures in South Korea aim to used as new album cover. Beside that, the company also invite some well known Korean actor/model to participate in the photograph session, and probably appearing her in MV or duet (unsure). Vicki will return to China on April 5, to join "The Battle of Red Cliff". The album will be release in July 2007.

Actually, I like Cheng Chan, and want he with vicki again. But Liu Ye is alright. He is a good actor, too, he has finished his movie in hollywood with Meryl Streep, so he is a very good actor, I think so. But why Chang Chen gave up his role? This is a great movie, but too many people gave up their roles, esp. great actor as Tony Leung. Said! So, who will play Liu Bei? No any info about this role.

Just one day after John Woo's long-anticipated big budget epic "Battle of Red Cliff" started shooting, news has come that Hong Kong's super star Chow Yun-Fat has been dropped from the star cast.

This is the second HK international super star who has for various reasons been made to leave the film production team following Tony Leung's earlier turn-down of another major cast in this film for "what it is said his incompetence in speaking proper mandarin Chinese".

Beijing Evening News reports it received an official phone call confirmation on Chow Yun-Fat's case from the film's production team on Sunday night.

The production team alleged that Chow Yun-Fat put forward "nearly one-hundred unreasonable demands", which they said "they are unable to tolerate". Meanwhile, they also alleged that Chow Yun-Fat is "far beyond the age of his role in the film" and they have got what they call "negative feedbacks from the public on the point".
