Ohh..i really like this girl after watching the comedy Mukodono.. she makes such a adorable couple with Nagase Tomoya.. when i heard there be a Mukodono 2 i was thrill..but found out later she wont be in it..i was disappointed...but i did enjoy the pride where she plays against takuya kimura...

i really like her in pride, does anyone know where i can find the soundtrack?

Hey, that's the first time and first series I ever saw her in. Her picture in the JDorama site was so bad, I initially thought she was only average looking. Imagine my surprise when I saw her in Pride You know, for some reason or another, she reminds me of Yoyo Mung.

I don't think that she is THAT beautiful as most people say...probably because she looks older than she really seems but I really love her drama "lunch no joou"

I don't know if you guys already knew about this news or not, but dear Yuko is now married to her partner in movie Be With You/Ima Ai ni Yukimasu, a famous Kabuki player, Shido Nakamura. She's currently about 6 months pregnant and heard that she's going to give birth around December this year.. Feel happy for her

it was SOO enjoyable.

Takeuchi Yūko (竹内結子, b. April 1, 1980) is a Japanese actress originally from Saitama Prefecture. She is popular for her cute looks and cheerful image.

Making her big break with NHK's television series Asuka and JT"Green's" commercial, she has gone on to star in many tv shows, movies, and commercials.

She has been in such Japanese television dramas as Mukodono (My Husband), Lunch No Joou (The Queen of Lunch), Egao No Hōsoku, and Pride. In Mukodono she comically plays a newly-wed with popular band TOKIO's lead singer, Nagase Tomoya, and in Lunch no Jouou she plays an active girl with a mysterious past. Egao No Hōsoku shows her experience meeting new people while supporting a manga writer, and in Pride she is a symbol of the good old days to the main character, played by Takuya Kimura. All of these shows portray her as playful and witty, and her smile never fails to melt the hearts of other characters.

Movies she has starred in include Hoshi Ni Negaiwo, Yomigaeri and Be with You (Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu). All of these have thought-provoking plots and she acts well, pulling the audience into the story. Her excellent performance in Yomigaeri was recognized by the 27th Japanese Academy Awards. She has also won other various awards for her television and movie appearances.

On May 10, 2005, Takeuchi married Nakamura Shido, a Kabuki actor. They met during the filming of the movie Be with You. On November 1, 2006, they divorced.

Hi!

I just wanted to ask if anyone knows where i can find a picture of Hana Matsumoto. She's Yuko's co-star in the 2007 movie Sidecar Ni Inu (Dog in the Sidecar). She's that super cute little girl in the movie. I've searched the net in vain for her profile. Maybe because she's just a new actress and is just a kid. I just wanted to find a picture of her coz she looks so much like my younger sister. Thank you very much.

I just finished "Pride". She was amazing in there, her chemistry w/ Kimura is undeniable. I hope they could work together in another project.

Takeuchi, Nakamura finally divorce

Yuko Takeuchi and Shido Nakamura have finally settled their divorce. Management for both celebrities issued a fax to the media on Friday announcing the news. Earlier that day, Nakamura and his lawyer officially turned in the divorce papers.

Takeuchi and Nakamura starred together in the 2004 film "Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu." They got married the following June, and Takeuchi gave birth to their son five months later.

In 2006, Nakamura was caught for drunk driving. It was later revealed that actress Aya Okamoto was with him at the time, while other rumors linked Nakamura to actress Saki Takaoka on another occasion. With their relationship damaged, Takeuchi began seeking a divorce that October and soon began living separately with their son, who is now in her custody.

17th Japan Movie Critics Awards

The 17th Japan Movie Critics Awards were handed out on Thursday. Kiyoshi Sasabe's "Yunagi no Machi, Sakura no Kuni" came out on top as Best Picture, while Kichitaro Negishi won Best Director for "Sidecar ni Inu."

"Crows ZERO" earned a Best Actor prize for Shun Oguri and a Best Supporting Actor for Kyosuke Yabe. Yuko Takeuchi picked up Best Actress ("Sidecar ni Inu"), and Best Supporting Actress awards were given to Hiromi Nagasaku ("Funuke Domo, Kanashimi no Ai wo Misero") and Keiko Takahashi ("Fumiko no Umi").

Oricon: spring fashion

Oricon recently surveyed 450 women to see which celebrity's fashion style they wanted to copy this spring. The #1 answer was model Yuri Ebihara, who topped the same survey last year. She was most popular among the 20s crowd.

Actress Yui Aragaki ranked #2, with many of her voters coming from the teenage demographic. Meanwhile, four women tied for #3: Miho Kanno, Namie Amuro, Yuko Takeuchi, and Yu Aoi.

Does anyone know what Yuko's next project is?? I miss her so much, she's my fav actress and Bara no nai Hanaya was so good!! She's almost acted with all the SMAP members now! But I think he and KimuTaku were the best!! Really hope they will have another project together!!
