skyrocker
i personally feel that so ji sup is very suited for tragic roles. he does very well in them. and i realise many of his shows require him to die, for example Glass slippers, What happened In Bali, and Im sorry i love you. SOOO sad guy bawling.gif kwon sang woo also can cry really well in stairway to heaven!

so who can make YOU cry the most?
rainbow_x3
kwon sang woo makes me cry soooooo much! i just feel so sorry for him; e.g. STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN!
danceinsand
i agree with you people above. ksw and sjs are really quite good at making the viewer feel super sad. i think one more actor would be won bin (autumn tale). oh man autumn tale was so sad. esp the scenes where the girl rejects him.. time and again. and the last part of teh show, where he says that he has nothing to live for, no promises to keep. it was so sad! i think he's a good sad actor
laura huynh
forever with Kwon sang woo because he hot and cute, also he make me cry in the stair away to heaven ........that movie made me cry so much , kwon sang woo a great actor
Deepthroat_me
Most definitely So Ji Sub. This guy is quite an actor. His eyes are so filled with emotion that they speak for themselves in every scene that he does.
tonks26
So Ji Sub, definitely. I've seen I'm Sorry I love You and What Happened in Bali, and this guy could really pull off such dark, depressing characters. I wonder what he'd be like if he was cast in a lighter role though.
windstar_june
So Ji Sub is great in tragic roles. Probably explains why he had to die in 3 of his roles.

Personally, I cried the most watching Heaven's Tree with Lee Wan in it. I cried everytime he cried. So yeah, Lee Wan is my second choice.
willenette
Kwon Sang Woo in Sad Sonata. I feel for his role in that drama. 2nd will be Bae Yong Joon in Winter Sonata when he got blind. Last will be So Ji Sup in I'm Sorry I Love You & Memories of Bali.

Two names pop up in my head So Ji Sub and Kwon Sang Woo..
Really bow down to thosetwo. They make tragic endings worth watching.
I still can't get MISA out of my head right now.

Gosh those two should get awards.

So Ji Sup.
My gosh this guy has all the tragic roles and he acted very well in all of them. his eyes are so expressive and can really convey those emotions well.
sarang dbsk
haha i agree with everyone kwon sang woo & so ji sub!! these two are great actors and can make anyone watching the series cry their eyes out! weeping.gif
does anyone think won bin suits those tragic roles?? he doesnt make me cry like ksw and sjs but its close to crying..
Foua Vang
KSW is the best crier out there, in Sad Love Story he made me cry like a baby
JIS is also very good, in Memories of Bali he cried so unbelievable it started to be funny but he was really good!!!
Deepthroat_me
^ Hey Hmong girl, give MISA a try if you haven't already? Saddest K-drama all time! thumbsup.gif
devil_racer
definitely so ji sup, like most of u here said.
u just don't have to hear wat he said, just look his expressions,u'll
feel sad,& sumtimes,u can reali feel hw hes feeling in the drama.
i hav to say, that u al shud reali watch MISA!
its the best sad story wit a different twist from other sad korean dramas.
one_lostie
so ji sub.. i've cried heaps in i'm sorry i love you
Sina
First of all, if a actor can really make you feel the sadness that they're pretending to feel.... that's an excellent actor. And if the drama leaves you feeling sad and depressed, that's a good drama with good actors. For a drama or movie to make you feel them that much is really good.

Autumn Story took my heart away and so did Sad Love Story...... but I have to admitt "I'm sorry I love you" really got to me...... everytime So Ji Sub cries .....I weeping.gif (welps, not every sence but you know... ) He really is truly a excellent actor!
nickynisa
i agree that kwon sang woo really suitable for tragic role.. he acted very well in sad love story and stairway to heaven.. he did great job in bith dramas.. i cried whenever he cried.. he really good at crying..

next will be won bin. won bin's role in autumn in my heart was very sad. although he knew that song hye kyo didn't love him, but he still support her, and stay beside her.. pity him..

so ji sub did well in i'm sorry i love u.. but somehow i don't really like him.. i pity the other guy, yune's character more..
s2kangta
like many of you said already..so ji sub's gotta be the most suitable actor for tragic roles...his "i'm sorry i love you" drama was just amazing...even though he wasn't that attractive at first...he grew on me..partly because his acting was great...makes me cry T.T
killjade_skye
I'm gonna go for Kim Jung Hoon and Lee Junki. They made me feel depressed evrytime the cry... weeping.gif
katherinekwokhk

misskim
for me the best cry goes to KWON SANG WOO..gosh. he does made me really cry.. i have prepared a box of tissue when i watched sad love story & stairway to heaven..
beep
the main actor in love in harvard. and of course kwon sang woo.handsome and very talented smile.gif
MadHatter
im going to have to say that girl, forgot her name but the main character girl in Autumn in my heart, and also Lee Wan from Tree of heaven.

those totally made me cry big time!

other then that, i haven't completely watched all korean dramas to say, but those are so far.
Aspire
I think it's Song Seung Heon... After seeing him in Autumn In My Heart and Summer Scent he gives me the melancholy feeling... like he has a lot of problems but he just couldn't bring himself to voice it out... and of course, when he cries, it's almost heartbreaking to see so... down.gif

And Soon Ye Jin from Summer Scent as well... I think she's quite suitable for tragic roles too... so far I've never seen her in a drama/movie that ends her up in a happy mood... maybe i've missed something... unsure.gif
blue*heart
I think there are a lot of korean actors who can maje you cry like Song Seung Hun, I think he suits tragic oles or Kwong Sang Woo in Stairway to heaven, it was so sad though. But still I think when I see Cho In.Sung cry I have to cry too, at least in 'Something happened in Bali'.
camille_he
so ji sub!
he made me cry so much in MISA...
his acting is so good.... i cry whenever he cry in the drama....
he can convey the feelings pretty well...
he does not only cry,,, but he makes you feel what his character feels..
Ahkee
DEFINITELY KWON SANG WOO!!!!!!!

Kwon Sang Woo is such a talented actor in terms of crying, no matter how many times i watched stairway to heaven, i cant help but to be impress with his "silent tears: style of crying! It looks as if he's really hurt deep inside.....very effective!
jaz!jaz!jaz!
So Ji Sup.

im sorry i love you made me cry heaps.
PrincessNaya
KSW in Stairway... omg, i bawled so hard. my mom and i were in tears every part of the movie.

SSh and SHK were beautiful in Autumn... i cried till i was so weak, i fell asleep as soon my head hit the arm rest. smile.gif
melaniey
TRUE KSW MADE ME CRY LIKE A RIVER IN STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN AND SAD SONATA

BUT ANY GUY WHO CRIES IN ANY DRAMA WILL MAKE ME TEARY!!!!!!
tennis01
wow, a lot of people said so ji sup. but i can't say i disagree. he really is a good actor. at first, i thought he looked weird, but now i think he's hot. i do wish he was in a drama that wasn't so tragic, just so i could see him smiling in a happy ending for once.
kubbie
Kwon sang woo.. kwon sang woo.. kwon sang woo.. he's such a great actress. i love his drama and he's a great actress.. and i cant for get that he's HOT!! .. lol.. he's also good at crying, and omg.. i just love him!
ta_chin^_^
so ji sub of course, cause almost of his drama were end up with him being dead... and one more his eyes really are a good asset that make him korean no.1 dead contract role actor.... buahaha.gif buahaha.gif
kwon sang woo was also goos but he ever filmed comedy movie, so sad/tragic role not that identical with him...
smashingalou
SO JI SUB in MISA and KO SOO in GREEN ROSE!!!

Definitely great acting from both actors!! thumbsup.gif
iMs0oUniiQu3
agree with everybody else.. So ji sup's the best for tragic roles n Kwon Sang Woo can get you to tear...but other actors are great as well depending on the situation in the drama.. smile.gif
moochiemax
It's SSH for me. He's really good in his role as Junsuh in AIMH, mostly that part.. while he was piggybacking Eunsuh in the beach... she died at that very moment. But Junsuh refused to accept the truth, that he still continues to talk to her and even planned things to do for the day. I could still imagined his facial expression. ... that look in his eyes says it all.
marissa10
The first actor that came to my mind was Kwon Sang Woo. That guy can just evoke so many emotions out of you, it's just scary. And plus, his crying scenes are fantastic!
Another one would be Lee Jun Ki! I mean, Jun Ki can act funny roles too, but i always thought his role in 'The King and the Clown' was his best to date. It was just so sad and so so tragic, made me cry heaps.
Okay... so i may be a little biased coz these 2 happen to be 2 of my favourite actors. But u gotta admit, they are awesome actors! =D
Oh... and i do think So Ji Sub pulls of tragic well too.
soo_jin
Definitely KWON SANG WOO... thumbsup.gif
Watching him cried in Stairway to Heaven, really made me cried too... The more I saw him cried, the more I got cried too weeping.gif

What a great job he did... I think he's really suitable for this kind of role...
More crying scenes for him... whistle.gif
tramie9
Kwon sang Woo Is my hero! he is the best actor for this kind of drama. So cute and really sexy.
russell
none other than the tear jerker Mr Kwong Sang Woo, his tears & crying are real not fake!!
luciferwolf
Lee Jun Ki for me...he's a pretty versatile actor biggrin.gif
