In this series, Bernice will be from a wealthy family. She is a student and will be returning to HK from Canada. She will be paired with Steven Ma.. who is her first love. Upon her return, she encounters him again.. and old feelings are rekindled. To complicate matters, Kenneth Ma will also be romantically linked to Bernice..

To add yet another dimension to Bernice's character, she will also have some sort of relationship with an older man.. In the promotional clip for this series, you see Bernice snuggling up to Michelle Yim's husband AND a dramatic confrontation between Michelle and Bernice where Bernice gets slapped!

I'm so excited to see Bernice in this series! I haven't seen her in a while.. the last series I remember her in were Love Bond and Into Thin Air.. Her character is this series is supposed to very feminine.. and since she's wealthy, she will be wearing plenty of pretty clothes & heels! Can't wait to see her fancy outfits..

Her character in this series reminds me a bit of her character in ITA.. I think she will do a good job in this series and I hope to see a more mature Bernice.

yay! finally saw Bernice in ep 2! She looks good of course, also, it seems to be her most mature role! very different from her other roles in the past!!! ok, kind of found her and Steven cheesy acting as 16 year olds, cuz they really don't look it..

She did well & her character here seemed to be more mature & refined than what she normally did in the past. Guess her love relationship with Steven would rekindle in the coming series.

bernice in this series is a quiet and lsot in love person to meeh... comparing to her old series she was a loud and open girl.... but she is actually doing a pretty good job on her role as a quiet person!

Her character is indeed kinda like her ITA character.. since she does go undercover and she always did too in ITA.. it was really funny how she attracted males so easily in ITA! But the main difference is that she was a really loud type in ITA.. and kinda nosy.. and the way she secluded guys .. but in BOL she's a really more of a quiet and mature girl that is smart and graduated from university..

i've only watched until ep 2 so far...and bernice will come on only in ep 2...so far not that much acting yet...but she sure is pretty

I find it weird how TVB is using her song from In Thin Air for this series too. TVB must really like her singing to reuse this song.

I'm so happy to see Bernice on-screen again! Like mentioned, it's definitely been a long time! She's doing great in this series and I'm glad to have read the spoiler about why she was with Michelle's husband, although I never knew she plays a cop in this series. They didn't really mention what her job was thus far and I thought she would probably be a psychiatrist or something seeing as she mentioned to Kenneth that she'll help Kate out with her phobia and also that she'll try to help Steven's mom get through her problems when Steven's father died. Either way, regardless of what her job is, I am definitely enjoying Bernice's return and her performance. Way to go!

Actually, the song she sang in here isnt the same as the one from Into Thin Air. This one was released long ago on the lady in red CD, but it was made to be the sub-theme for this series.

bernice is somewhat classy in thsi show and dresses sophisticated i think her character will be good.

she looks really good, and all her outfits are so nice. and when she smiles, i just melt. Her role here is quite good, sort of like a little princess, calm, mature and elegant.

wow bernice is really different in here, well just more mature. she is very mature and amazingly pretty! lol and i read the spoilers from tis_me of her true identity. LOL that means Kenneth and Bernice really match! anyways. Bernice seems to always play those roles where she is somewhat a tom boy, her characters will always be tough and knows how to fight! hmm like kick boxing or something lol.

Bernice acting is good but I find her talk was a bit artificial when she was spewing theory on mental state (eg Steven's mum & Kenneth's Sis). Maybe it is deliberate on her part if she isn't really an expert of that field like she claimed...

I'm so proud of Bernice! I watched her improved acting in HH3 and now I get to see Bernice at her best. I hope she gets nominated for best actress because she's definitely starting to grow on me with her very persuasive acting. She's almost leveled with the veterans. Excited to see more screen time from her.

I think bernice has improved a lot since she first started. Her acting and her chinese is getting better and better. I really see a lot of potential in her. Also. I think that her role in this series is much suitable for her. I like it when she is in more quiet mature role than loud cutesy role. But her smile always make every role she plays very enjoyable to watch.

on the TVB website under bernice's profile it says that she's a candian cop.. so im assuming that she's investigating something... really like her in this series.. so different to her other roles and she's really pretty..

She acts really well. I think her role is The Brink of Law is better than Into Thin Air because her role in Into Thin Air was not a major role in my opinion. She is beautiful
