In this series, Ron and Kate will be paired together...

Ron and Kate will go through a lot together in their relationship.. Kate is raped and Ron must help her overcome this traumatic incident.. Later in the series, there will be a proposal scene between Ron and Kate..

I'm not too crazy about this pairing.. I did not like Kate in LFD.. I felt her acting skills were lacking. How will her chemistry fare with Ron.. an actor known for his wooden acting?


Any thoughts/comments?

Not a big fan of this couple & not a fan of both actors.. But I don't think they're bad together.. in terms of looks. This is their first series together.. but Ron and Kate are also going to be somehow linked togheter in TA 2..

well i don't really like kate in LFD & TPOG i hope she will imporve in this serie ;o
and ron i'm a super fans to him, he's acting still improve after every serie i watch whit him this is my opinion :]

I still find Kate annoying she just doesn't know how to act and she isn't pretty at all she looks to tomboyish to me ...watching her in price og Greed really bores me don't believe she shouldn't be the main characters.

I think Kate should be given a chance.Her acting here improved from LFD. I'm not a big fan of Kate&Ron but looking at the previews and the pictures,they look great.

I think that Ron actually saves Kate because earlier while they were filming, Kate actually got injured on her face while filming the rape scene. They mentioned that Ron was also in that scene, so maybe he does save her. Agree, let's hope Kate's acting improves, but since i'm a Kate fan, i'm not really bothered about her acting!

I haven't watched Kate in anything else so I went in with an open mind and I think her acting is more than acceptable in Brink of Law. Her and Kenneth gave me a couple laughs in episode 1 and that's always a good sign.

As for the Ron and Kate pairing, absolutely loving it. From their interaction in the first episode, I'm already feeling their chemistry. And Ron's role...wow...such a contrast from his previous roles. It's so refreshing to see him in a 'perfect gentleman role.

PS: Kate is my 學姐 (as well as Tiffany Lam). Kate, Tiffany and my cousin were all at University of California, Davis at the same time...

I would say this pairing is ok... i mean like they don't look bad... but i wouldn't say they are really cute together.... but i guess it's something new... a new couple on screen... can't wait for the purposal scene!!! but i think that would take a while...

I do like this couple although Ron and Bernice will be good. Kate is pretty and Ron is sexy in the series so yes they do suit.

Yes I thought I did read that Ron will save Kate and I hate seeing Shirley try to ruin R&K.

I think Kate is better in this series then in Price of Greed. I guess her acting is not the best but she is a newcomer. I think she will improve and she seems like she has potential.

I love this couple in the series!!! I think they complement each other really well. Just hope that they don't break up because of 'external' factors...

Ron has a really nice personality in this series and it sounds logical that he is paired up with Kate's rather innocent character.

As for Shirley's character, she oughtta be struck by lightning!

I mean, this couple is ok but i hate the way Kate talks! No offense of course. Personally, I like Ron and Tavia, but they have been in a lot of series together, still make the cutest couple! I guess, Kate and Ron is okay, cute scenes.

Honestly.. I'm not sure what I think. Maybe they do kinda have chemistry. But it's just that she's still not a very good actress, so sometimes I can go.. What?! Why is Ron with such a bad actress?
Somehow I don't think she is ready for such big roles. This character that she has been given takes skills. She has to show loads of emotions, and something it just looks fake and plain bad. So the chemistry is not always there.

But I suppose this is an okay couple, the times were her acting actually looks credible.

The scenes that are written for them are pretty sweet...but I can't get myself to like the Kate-Ron pairing. They just don't match... lol

the girl is not pretty at all to me... gosh there are millions of pretty girls who can act... why does tvb keep hiring people with no experience and not cute at all.. if shes' pretty as Liu yi fei and can't act it's still tolerable but she lacks both...

I'm not really a fan of Kate and I didn't really her performance in the Price of Greed, however i actually quite like this pairing. I think Kate's performance is better in the brink of law and she looks cute with ron!!!

I think this on-screen couple look quite cute together, but what they lack is chemistry...I think Kate and Kenneth shared even more chemistry as brother-and sister than she does with Ron.

I agree that their scenes are sweetly written, but I feel like something is missing there despite the sweet scenes that they have. I can't feel the chemistry..

i think this is the 1st time they pair up with each other, but i'm not a big fan in this pair up even though they looks really sweet in the series, and a lot of sweet scene too. i like the pair up of the character but not Ron and Kate
i think Kate needs to improve a lot in her acting, i think her acting has gone down after LFD, i think she acts better in LFD than POG and the Brink of law.

Ron and Kate did a well good job in this series. I felt that the chemisty they had was very good and it showed that Kate's acting skills are improving very well. Kate's role in this series was really cute and she and Ron were a nice couple together in it. It was a shame to see Ron die and leave Kate behind in the series.

as a couple, they were really cute in this series. but kate's acting isn't that great and ron's character is too innocent loll..but in the series they were good...

I kind of think that they look good together. They were looking like a joyful family but then they cannot be together forever which is really sad. I think he would have made a good father in the series.

BAD couple, no chemistry, neither can play their role or act.

I didnt like seeing them as a couple Kate didnt match with Ron. Kate is not good looking at all. I would rather see Bernice With Ron together. Kate kind of seam to be better as a sister then GF i think

kate been getting leading roles in the last few series i've watch. i'm not a really great fan of hers. her acting skills definitely needs improving.

they're chemistry as a couple was REALLYYY bad for some reason but it could also be the personality of their characters haha

I love this couple I got my eyes on them ever since she went to work with him in the same company im talking bout there characters.. She might not be that pretty but they do look cute together. and besides if Ron and Kate character like each other nothing else matters.

i heard ron and kate is in another series together and also Kate has a crush on ron but Ron ends up with another actress in the Academy 2..quite sad but I like to see Ron and Kate again.

sure kate still has a long way to go to be a great actress, but i think that she started of much better than a lot of other acresses.. like selena li i really hated her in the begining...couldn't stand her (i like her a bit more now) Kate just need practise, a lot of practise can't imagine her as a elegant sofisticated and calm woman, but more as a tomboy...

i dont really like this pairing. i dunno why, but i find kate quite annoying in this series. ron nd kate might look good or cute together, but i prefer ron and tavia coz they have so much more chemistry between them
