Did anyone else notice that Bobby, Jessica and Bosco all had a very sad life story.

Bobby: Lost his little brother at a young age, lost at the final of gabling championship, lost his ability to win games, and waste a large portion of his life away. Which lead to him losing the will to live.

Jessica: Her parents die in a tragic bus accident, left her alone, believed that she was the cause of their deaths and that she's really bad luck. Which lead to her addiction to gambling

Bosco: Left by his older brother and got taken by gangs who used him a money making tool, was sold around by various people, never loved by anyone as a kid.

Their all really sad, but the saddest one for me has to be Bosco because this happen to him when he was a little boy and he never had the love of families which Bobby and Jessica had.

I'm only up to chapter 16, so there are probably loads I’ve missing out.

Michael has a sad life too. He was from a very poor family, trying to support himself by gambling at a very early age. Mother has gone crazy and does not recognize him. Bobby, at least has a loving family. Michael struggled hard to get to where he is now, and tries very hard to hang on to what he got, but all in vain. He is going to lose it all. He started down the path of evil is because he was doing a good deed, trying to save Jessica without realizing it will transpire into something so terrible.

Also Michael had a gambling addict mother that put him in debt.


I think Michael had a bad childhood. Even though Bosco had it bad as well but he still has a loving brother looking after him for a long time to come. Michael has noone, an alzeihmer's mother that is going to die at the end of the series, making it worst, him all alone.

i think bosco. he got kidnapped and got abused. bobby has the second saddest. he lost his brother and good friends later on.

I think all of their lives were pretty sad (Bosco, Bobby, Jessica and Michael) except for Tavia. They saddest thing that probably happened to her were for Bosco to leave her at their marriage and when she was being threatened by Michael.

I would say that Bosco's was the saddest, he was such a young boy when all the abuse and stuff happened, so sad...

all are extrememly sad and horrible, but it's just good that bobby finds his brother in the end, and bosco is able to transform, and jessica is able to see the good side of life and is still loved by so many of her relatives.
although these stories are really sad, they are quite realistic as well. i reckon bosco and jessica's stories were the saddest.

I think Bobby's had the hardest life....he went from having everything to nothing plus losing his brother and parents. He is always like used as the scrapgoat, always beaten up and everything...also bosco wouldn't listen to him ...i felt really happy when he started to have his luck back.

the saddest part i felt was to Bobby - he lost his bro, got to very bad condition, found his bro but was rejected by bro, got kick & almost got killed by micheal, and fell in love but micheal came and got jessica,

I think they were all sad, something happened to them that was out of their control. They were all stuck in a rut and it was hard for em to get out.

the most saddest life story will hav to be bosco's life story his been through such a hard time from a small age, n its really sad how he gets chopped n becomes a slave n stuff.

I think Bosco's story was sad. He was kidnapped at a very young age, and couldn't remember who his family was. He was being toss like a ball because people didn't really want him. As a result, he felt a social outcast. All he wanted was a home to live in, where people can give him love and warmth. He never went to school, and therefore cannot distinguish what's right and wrong because no one taught him the meaning of morality.

Totally agree, I think Bosco's one is the saddest - only starting to find affection and who he is at 23.

Bobby had a saddest and hardest life. He felt so sorry to his parents and brother for 20 years coz his brother's missing. Some more, he don't have any luck after he lost his brother.

Bosco's was the saddest. The others knew their families, and were more in control of their destinies, while Bosco was a little boy who was abused and neglected, with no potential future. That was really the saddest.

well all the characters' had a tragic history. i guess it depends what perspective you look at it. i think bobby might have been more sad. he had everything up to the day, where young michael decided to teach him a lesson. he lost his brother, leading to him unable to face his parents, which led to miserable lives his parents have to endure till their deaths. he lost his luck. he no longer have the will to live. he waste his life completely, and he woke up twenty years later. he wasted twenty years of his live. and he realize, everything was due to his best friend's doings. he found his brother but bosco treated michael better than bobby even up to the point when he knew bobby was his real brother.

Bosco's was really sad. Like how he got tortured and forced to lie....

for me i find bosco's life in the series was sad since he was captured and got abused when he didn't bring any money back and it made him not want to go outside to see people.

bosco was taken away at a mere age of what? like 3...
he was taken by other people to do the bad deeds and so on..
then when he was taken away to let other people foster him people thort of him as nuisence..

awww theyre all sad life stories but im gunna have to go with bosco.. hes was just a child when he was taken away and he's been treated terribly in his childhood. im glad hes got tavia

I think out of the three stories between Bobby, Bosco and Jessica. I think the saddest has got to be Bosco's. I mean he was suffered so much. Being kidnapped by these people and then being sold here and there. This is not the childhood memories a little boy at his age shoul dhave suffered through.
