What are your TOP TEN Favorite TVB Series? And why?

Sorry for being longwinded. You can just skip the reasons if you want. It actually sounds like I'm critisizing the series more than praising it, lol. xD

1. Dicey Business - Don't think I've /ever/ been OMG YAY CAN'T WAIT TILL THIS IS REALISED type excited before about anything... asian, really. o_o And BoTa was sooo adorable And it's a pretty damn awesome series too.

2. War of the In-Laws - This is such a dumb and lame story. The acting is exaggerated, as is the story. But Bosco is so adorable and it's pretty funny in a HAHA IN YOUR FACE type of unsophisticated way but I was young...er when I watched it.

3. Lethal Weapons of Love and Passions - First ever series which I really liked. Liked so much that I bothered to search on google about and then I discovered the whole asian TVB series forum type things and all the shipping and stuff. CG is pretty lame too o_o But it's soo awesome except that Ray kept whispering and it was weird.

4. War and Destiny - Here's my first (possibly bias towards China) history lesson on the Japan/China war thing? It's actually pretty good, apart from Mandy Cho, I don't see why she's that good. And how she did the H thing when she did and Sunny picked it up. Could've been an I or a one (roman numerals), could've been a random mark that was there from ages ago. The ending? Total bummer, sucked, and had waaaay too many loose ends.

5. Survivors Law - I also really like this theme song and the story and the cast is awesome. 'Cept Bernice's sort of still sucked when it came to acting then. Raymond character is also pretty cute, personality wise and it was just an awesome show. Sort of slow paced though when I rewatched it :/

6. Perish in the Name of Love - I love love love the theme song. I think the song is from the proper Dai Lu Fa, but having the actors sing is way better. And it was also during when I didn't really think about whether actresses could sing good or not. But it was so pretty sounding and way better than listening to mum's Dai Lu Fa opera CD. And the story is so good =D Sort of weird seeing Charmaine and Moses play daughter-father than lovers in Dance of Passion though. And the end was sort of lame, how they didn't die. Totally hated Sonija too, which is good because you're meant to hate her character.

7. Under the Canopy of Love - Such a lame lame story which I absolutely adore. Kevin doesn't deserve the best actor award for this series. The violin thing is /so/ fake too. Theme song is quite catchy, though.

8. Legendary Four Aces - Classic (to me). It's not really that good when I rewatched it 7 years later. The plot is sort of stupid and exaggerated too, lol. But something must've been good about it. Good enough to have watched it over ten/twenty times when it was first out and I was soooo addicted. Still never really understand what Gordon's phrase that he kept repeating really meant though.

9. Maiden's Vow Gods of Honour - Totally gross CGs. Though ALL TVB's Computer Graphics are the most horrible things ever. Can't they just not use them or use better ones? Michelle's character is so annoying, I really hated her (even though I like Michelle as an actress). And that cow thing that doesnt even look like a cow, O.M.G. GROSS. And the whole 'ZHA ZHA' thing to counter block the 'HUNG HA' thing? Sooo lame. But also a really good series after you get over it's, many, flaws.

10. Eternal Happiness - Because that was when I first noticed Kenneth but his role was so small that we didn't bother to see what his actual actor name was. We kept calling him by his character that was in EH's name for years before we bothered checking up his real name. Also when I first liked Michelle after her grossly annoying character in Gods of Honour. And most of the bits were actually pretty boring too. Joe Ma = bore.

Life is Beautiful - great acting from Mariane Chan (I still miss her a lot!)

La Femme Desperado, loved Sheren, loved Raymond, loved the storyline and the meaning behind the series

Golden Faith for Gallen & Jessica and Raymond & Tavia!

Ups and Downs in the Sea of Love... two words JASON AND YUMA! haha I loved this series a lot, it was refreshing and Nick and Maggie had some of the best chemistry in TVB =)

the whole DIF series.. I feel like I'm cheating here but hey, it should only count as "one" series technically right?!

1. aqua heroes. theres actually a story. and most of the ppl can act. when you watch it, you actually feel ur there. its not just a tv drama.
2. war of the genders<3` this is like the best drama ever. every episode makes you laugh<3`
3. return of the cuckoo. chilam was mad cute in there(: and the plot was really interesting. it had a climax and problem and everything.
4. war of the inlaws. LOLOL. omg. bosco and myolie was such a cute couple in here. lisa wong was the "stfu!" person, but thats wat made the show good
5. virtues of harmony. i love comedies.
6. colorful life. funnyyy(:
7. happy ever after. omfg. the foods looked so good O_O
8. journey to the west. the first part was better b/c of the person who played monjey king. the one who played the monkey king in the second part didnt act as well.

War Of The In-Laws - What can I say? I adore the Boscolie pairing to bits. They shared a lot of chemistry in this series and I can say that all (or at least, most) of the cast did a great job. Cute, sweet and hilarious; it's most definitely my favourite series so far.
Into Thin Air - I believe it was Michael Miu's comeback series? I hardly ever watch series of the crime/thriller genre. I'm more of a comedy watcher, I think, but I really enjoyed this series. Mainly because of Kenneth and Bernice. I really love them as individual actors and they were great here.
Journey To The West II - I remember watching this as a little tot. I think this was one of the first series I'd ever watched. I simply loved JTTW when I was younger. My brother and I used to renact Benny Chan as the Monkey King and the rest of his crew. Benny's one of my most favourite actors of all time because of this series.
The Legendary Four Aces - Another series I grew up watching. I was obsessed with Nnadia Chan after watching this. I wanted to be the pretty, stubborn, adventurous princess who found love in a peasant. I was such an imaginative kid, I know. I don't know why but I really love the costumes in this series, especially Nnadia's. I watched this series again last year and cried because of Nnadia and Gordan. Theirs was a cliche love, but I couldn't help crying. Silly me.
To Grow With Love - I had just finished watching this series recently. I love Myolie. I've always loved her since Triumph In The Skies. Her character in this series is just so... likeable and you can't help but feel a bit sorry for her. I felt that I could relate to Andy Hui's character in some ways too. Even though this series is predictable, I love it. It's too sweet and cute to not like.
Gods Of Honour - I have watched this series more than twenty times. I was crazy about it when it first came out. I love its characters and the moral that it sends out about filial piety. Kingdom Yuen's character's suffering for her son brought a tear to my eye a few times. I really want to watch this series again. I wonder if it'll have the same effect on me as it did a couple of years ago.
Maiden's Vow - Although I dislike Charmaine Sheh and Joe Ma, I liked this series. I liked how it was about four generations of women and how the roles of women have changed over time. I was surprised that I watched it to the end because I didn't have much faith in this series. It was actually quite interesting to watch.
Happy Ever After - I absolutely loved Roger Kwok in this series. His character was the cute, filial scholar who'd do anything for his love. I loved how this series was based around cooking. I really enjoyed watching the scenes with the emperor and Bobby Au-Yeung. I loved the friendship they had. I really, really disliked how the emperor's mother tortured Nnadia Chan's character though.
Triumph In The Skies - A big, wonderful casting. That was one of the factors that drew me to watch this series. Myolie was so cute and loveable in this series and I really liked the chemistry between her and Francis. There were plenty of hot-looking newbies too (Solar Four). The storyline and love relationships were perfect.
Virtues Of Harmony - This was such a long series but I successfully finished watching it. It was, and continues to be, one of the most funniest series I've ever seen. It was where I first spotted Bernice who, as I stated above, l love dearly. She has improved tremendously after this series but even for a debut, she didn't do all that bad a job. I really loved the second-eldest son (I forgot his name) and his two bickering wives. They made the series a whole lot funnier. I love the themes of family in this series.

10.devil's disciples- really good series. it would have been numba 8 if it didnt have its crappy ending.

8.brink of law- i think its probably one of the best series of 07 so far.

6.perish in the name of love- steven and charmaine's relationship was so touching.
5.point of no return-such cute and funny scenes between julian and charmaine.
4.maiden's vow- i loved it mainly becuz of the 3rd and 4th generation.
3.return of the cuckoo- julian/charmaine/steven triangle was so touching.
2.forensic heroes- bobby did a great performance and cant wait til the sequel.

this is really hard. i love almost all the series i watch 0:] but let's see...

- as sure as fate: really loved joyce and hacken's chemistry. and joyce's uncle was really funny xD
- time before time: gordon was awesome in there, miss his acting. but it's been awhile since ive seen it.
- div 1, 2, 3 & 4: i really enjoyed the first three, same cast and good story line but the 4th one, gotta love it for louis and jessica.
- angel of mission: i really liked charmaine and patrick's chemistry although i hated the ending >.<
- white flame: charmaine's fan again. love her personality and her chemistry with sam ;]
- the last breakthrough: how they try to save and help the ppl in africa, so touching.
- point of no return: charmaine and julian mad cute!
- to catch the uncatachable: it was really funny and really liked ada and dayo performance and chemistry
- into thin air: bernice's acting was awesome in there especially her and kenneth ;]
- return of the cuckoo: such a great show, i was so sad that charmaine and julian didnt end up together though ;[

but there are so much more i like =p

In no particular order,

Phoenix Rising - This is hands down one of the best series I've seen this year. Great storyline. I love how it leaves me on the edge of my seat every time.
Man's Best Friend - I fell in love with Louis Koo. This also made me become a fan of Louis and Jessica.
Secret of the Heart - Great cast. This is probably my favorite of this genre (ie. family conflicts, forbidden love affairs, vengeance, etc.).
Armed Reaction - I've grown attached to the characters although I'm a bigger fan of the original but that didn't stop me from watching all 4.
The Last Breakthrough - This was a meaningful series, plus it was nice seeing Nick Cheung again.
A Kindred Spirit - Overdone, but I love it nonetheless. It has a bit of everything from comedy to drama to suspense.
A Place of One's Own - Light hearted comedy starring Nadia Chan and Lawrence Ng.
As Sure As Fate - Another light hearted comedy.
Burning Flame II - I enjoyed watching Wong Hei's interactions with everyone, plus Jenny Shing was so cute.
Point of No Return - Julian and Charmaine's chemistry was great.

My favourite are normally old series. They tend to be better than the present. Probably because of the actors and actresses.

Armed Reaction 1 - I really like this series because of the good acting skill Esther and Bobby portrays. Joyce and Marco were a cute couple at that time as well.

Armed Reaction 2 - Great acting, great storyline, hits the chinese title and great chemistry.

Lady Flower Fist - Again great storyline. Esther did a great job playing miu chiuw fa and she was hilarious with Kwong Wa

Receipe of the Heart- I love this series. It was hilarious!

Femininely Masculine - Love the chemistry between Gallen and Flora

Colourful of Life - This was abit like Virtue of Harmony but the storyline was better and it was funnier with Ronald

Eternal Happiness - Loved the chemistry between Raymond and Michelle!

Family Man - I loved the storyline plus Moses character was outstanding

War and Beauty - I love how the storyline is about 4 women fighting.

Old Time Buddy- It was extremely funny

4. The Dance Of Passion - Quite interesting. Haven't finished watching it yet but it's quite good! Much better than a lot of series that's been released. (Moses Chan. Charmaine Sheh, Gigi Lai)
5. Virtues Of Harmony - Dragged on for a long while. But I always watched it even though, it got annoying because of the stupid storylines. lol

well in no particular order mine are...

- journey to the west 1 & 2- dicky and benny did fantastic jobs playing the monkey dude x) and the adventures they had were really cool to watch and when i was small i always watched it.

- war of in-laws: all-time fave !! its such a simple story to understand and the exaggerated acting adds to the hilarity of everything. it was such a light-hearted show and i LOVED bosco myolie & liza ! i really enjoyed watching liza trying to get rid of myolie and then bosco being stuck in the middle hahaha.

- heart of greed: geeez CRAZY storyline but really good drama and awesome acting from the entire cast. it was so touching in some scenes and i remember crying for half the series. MY GOD BOSCO IS HOT !! =D and i loved the names in HOG, e.g. the on yat foon yun thing and sheung joi sum! THAT is really original.

- tough side of a lady: so funny watching mariane hating wong hei and then falling in love with him ahahaha. the whole story was really good to watch and really funny. this is the legend that the disney cartoon "mulan" comes from isnt it? cos marianes name is "fa mok lan"

- lady flower fist: GOD i loved this show when i was small. you HAVE to love it cos it was so simple and funny.

- duke of mount deer 2000: dicky did such a kickass job, and he was quite the charmer too. it was cool watching him and his seven wives and their adventures and its touching watching him befriend the king, who never had anybody to call "pung yau"

- dicey business: kickass series, gotta love BoTa and interesting to see michael playing an evil git for a change. loved tavias character, something different for her to try and act out. same with bosco. in fact, id say michael jessica bosco and tavia ALL had to try and act out a character they dont normally do, which is good.

- revolving foors of vengeance: it wasnt a spectacularly awesome series but i loved ron and ella in it. i think the thing i liked best about it was the ending. usually TVB endings are really crap and rushed but THIS ending actually tied all the ends together and explained everything.

- war & destiny: pretty good insight into the nanking rape or something.. but yeah it was romanticised a bit. im sure in real life it woulda been MUCH worse. loved ron & leila and the fact that they were forbidden lovers sounds cool!

- twin of brothers: RON AND RAY ! yay ! lol yeh cool series. really cool storyline and i liked sze fei huen's (leila) philiosphy about being good and pure. ray and li qian arrrghhh they were cute !!

1.Twin of brothers-loved this series!! Raymond and the other girl[i forgot her name,not Tavia] were a cute couple there. Leila was very cute too.

2. The last breakthrough-This is a great series. It's so meaningful and i liked nick and sonia there. Raymond and Leila were good as a couple too.

3. War of in-laws- fell in love with the pairing of boscolie!! They were so cute together and the show was very funny and also touching.

4. Duke of mount deer 2000- Dicky made the character alive and this show is funny and also touching too.

5. Dance of passion- kinda serious series but all the same, great cast and the twists and turns in the events in this show are very exciting.

6. To grow with love- myolie is so cute and lovable in here

7. War and beauty- the fighting of the women is really exciting to watch. Great acting by all, makes one connect with the feelings of the women in the palace, their desperations and helplessness.

8. Forensic heroes- love how they solve all the cases, really nice series.

9. A change of destiny- i liked benny and steven in here. It's nice to see steven acting as a bad person.

10. The bitter bitten- Liked this series, it's quite fun to see how they find the treasure etc. though i dun like linda, but still it was quite a nice series.

Not in any particular order. These are the series that I remember watching at least once or twice every year xD

Point of No Return - I absolutely loved this series despite how it kinda dragged, esp after Damian died. I love the father/son relationship between him and Julian. They both did an amazing job. Also no to mention Julian and Charmaine, they were soooooo freaken adorable together as enemy turned lovers, the pranks they did towards each other to falling in love. I LOVED the first half, but then it went downhill like mentianed before but no matter it's still one of my top series that I can never stop rewatching xD

The Legendary Four Aces - This is like a total classic for me I loved this series when I was a little girl and I still do. I loved the paring of Gordon and Nnadia, and Nnadia was soooo pretty in her and I absolutlely adored her character! I also really enjoyed watching their competetions.

Up and Down in the Sea of Love -Nick and Maggie did a wonderful job, I seriously loved this series. I found it really sweet hoe they end up falling in love with each other again and everything. =D

Legal Entanglement - I think this is a wonderful series, I also really liked the paring of Hacken and Kenix and also not to forget Michael's teeth, haha.

Seed of Hope - I found this series really sweet. Also the kids are adorable in the series.

To Catch the Uncatchable - I love the mystery cases and Dayo and Ada has awesome characters.

Armed Reaction 3 - This is my favorite out of the four maybe because this was the first one I saw? Even though I think Bobby looks great paired with Esther but I really liked him with Ada too. I also prefer Joyce with long hair xD and OMG Joyce and Marco's kids in the series were adorable! The only downside was that their son ended up dieing =( but overall i def. enjoyed it.

Virtues of Harmony - I never get tired of rewatching this series, alsways gives me laughs, I also really like Bernice in the series not to mention the "four beauties" lmao.

Journey to the west- I like Cheung Wai-Kin in this series. He's so good. The story was super great and love their adventure

Armed Reaction - It's one of my favorite series because the chemistry of Bobby and Kwan Wing-Hor and later in 3 and 4 the chemistry with Ada Choi were awesome and I love these type of series.

Burning Flame- I love the type of series with firefighters. The first one was the best with Louis Koo.

Healing Hand- I like to see the operation and I'm interested in the series with doctor.

Revolving Doors of Vengeance- I love the story with Joe Ma being the bad guy but he was only helping the 3 brothers. The cast were awesome.

Triumph In The Skies- I love the concept of the series. It bring new type of series. It's one of a kind. The cast were awesome and Ron, Sammul, Bosco and Michelle Yip were funny.

Heart of Greed- I like Moses in this series. He's so funny and the story was awesome. The chemistry between the whole cast were excellent. This is why it's the best series of the year.

Wars of In Laws- I like Myolie and Bosco in this series. They were so funny but Liza and Myolie was even better.

The Gentle Crackdown- Moses and Niki were super funny.

Forensic Heroes- I like booby and yoyo in this series. I like the way they investigate to solve the crime.

Ups and Downs in the Sea of Love------This is my all time favourite! I just love to watch it again and again.......romantic and comical storyline as well all the actors have great chemistry!
Journey to the West II------One of greatest Chinese epic TV remake that I really enjoy
Revolving Doors of Vengeance------Ron is hottest in this series, that's what I think........really enjoy the Ron and Ella pair in this series

Net Deception If I can remember correctly, Jack Wu was in this series? If so, then I think I got the right name.........I love this series before and still like it. The storyline is suspenseful to a good degree.
Eternal Happiness The only series that I don't hate Michelle as much.......I love her witty character and Raymond's a little dense character! Great chemistry!
Dicey Business In this series, I actually feel that Bobby's acting is coming to live again.....BoTa was awesome!
Into Thin Air Because of BK Chemistry! How can TVB not put this couple up on screen again????????

My top ten TVB series are;

1/ On the first beat- From start to end it was very good, and it was a sequel to The Academy too.
The cast was pretty good and the storyline was brilliant too.

2/ The duke of mount deer 2000- It was a long series, but i enjoyed watching it. The main character was funny and the cast was good.

3/ Heart of Greed- Even though i didnt really watch the start, i thought the ending was good and the storyline was not lame and the cast and the themesong was enjoyable.

4/ A step into the past- The english bits were funny and Louis was a character that was enjoyable.

5/ Glittering days- The singing parts were good.

6/ The biter bitten- Even though Linda was boring in this series, the treasure hunting was very good.

7/ Trimming Success- Not much comment, the cast was good.

8/ The Prince's shadow- The theme song was good and the cast. =]

9/ Women on the Run- Good mysteries being solved and it was funny.

10/ Wong Fei Hung - Master of Kung Fu- Good Kung Fu and good cast.

1. Heart Of Greed : No doubt, this will be my favourite show of all times at the moment. I have watched it for 4 time and I am still loving it. I love the Tong Family & not to mention, there's BOTA in it!

2. Steps : I like this show! The 3 females are my favourites! Bernice & Steven's chemistry was really good!

3. Forensic Heroes : This HK-CSI show is really good.

4. A Journey Called Life : It was this show that made me like Linda again. She was really good in this show! Steven & Linda's chemistry were so sweet~~~

5. Catch Me Now : This show is pretty nice! Sharon's pretty inside, Fala did well in it!

6. Welcome To The House : Goodness, this show makes me laugh like mad. The whole Ko family is so funny and crazy! A good show!

7. Dicey Business : Hahaha. I like Michael as a bad person in this show. I just come seem to hate him. & Jessica's character seems very fresh to me! & not to mention BOTA!

8. War Of In-Laws : A funny show. Myolie & Liza's bickerings are absolutely hilarious

9. Au Revoir Shanghai : I love this show cos' I love Bosco in it. xD

10. DIE : This show totally rocks! Sonija did a great job in it!

In no particular order:

1. A Step into the Past I don't have to explain why I liked this! It's a classic!! It started funny and got dramatic towards the end. Not that fond of the ending but I really really enjoyed watching the series sooooo much. I would watch ALL the reruns on TV for this show!! Plus Louis Koo is so hot. haha.

2. The W Files I like all those supernatural stuffs in this show. Some parts did freak me out a little but I enjoyed getting freaked out LOL But overall the show was so exciting! Another show I could watch it over and over again. And I LOVE Matt Yeung and Tavia Yeung's chemistry. They were so cute!

3. Aqua Heroes Haha I think I'm the first one to put this as my top ten list. I like how the show focused on the young actors and actresses and I love how it is all about swimming (even though some stunts were so unrealistic? o__O). So some of the actors/actresses may lack quality in their acting but I really like the storyline. I've only watched the show 2 times but I don't mind watching it again.

4. The Green Hope It's a really touching series. It's actually the first time I've seen Stephen Fung acted in a series and a last time since? I guess. I actually like seeing him and Joey Yung together.

5. The Legendary Four Aces OMG I love the chemistry between the four friends. I think I watched this series twice too during their reruns. BUT I NEVER GET TIRED! Its so funny and cute!! It was a pretty long series but its not draggy! And I actually noticed Tavia Yeung was in this series as a kelefe okay random.

6. Dicey Business I think I watched it a couple of times!! And I wanna watch it again! Jessica was so funny. Liked her very much in this show. I think I'm one of the rare few who wanted her to end up with Bobby even with Michael Miu in the way? Don't know whether she ended up with Bobby but I loved their scenes. And not forgetting to mention, BOTA!!!!

7. War of In-Laws Funny and entertaining, simple plot but some parts were just so hilarious I could laugh just thinking of it!!! LOL

8. Heart of Greed How could I forget about this series?? The funny parts are really funny while the sad parts are so sad and touching. I love the Tong family. The plot is just so engaging and I'm always stuck at the edge of the seat. Well, except for Raymond and Linda's story. I think it was redundant and I actually fast forwarded their scenes throughout! But I think they do make a handsome pair.

9. A Taste of Love Hehe I really loved this, watched it thrice. Raymond was so dark in here lol. He and Miriam were so fun to watch! I liked Lawrence and Flora in here too. Again I noticed Tavia was a kelefare here when I was watching reruns...random again.

10. Under the Canopy of Love Sometimes people find cliche love stories too cliche and actually try to deviate all the time and ends up the cliche love stories start becoming refreshing and sweet! To me canopy is an example of that. I've been wanting to watch a show like this for a long time and I'm glad they used Kevin and Niki as the couple. And Bosco was so entertaining in there lol.

Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion - i really like it...cuz thr's excitement as well as entertainment like funny scenes involving bosco

Heart of Greed - great cast and wonderful plot..i loved moses' character...

Aqua Heroes - even though at that time most of the leading n supporting actors/actresses in this series were quite new to me, i still like it

Forensic Heroes - it is just so captivating..it makes u wonder what really happened n who was involved

Twin of Brothers - the ending was quite disappointing but the whole series was GOOD

Dicey Business - bobby's acting was just outstanding and somehow i like the scenes whr they gamble

Better Halves - its funny the way steven and maggie always fight and try to beat each other

Detective Investigation Files IV - loved how they did the cases and it was cute between Jessica and Louis.

Forensic Heroes - liked how they incorporated not only the forensic side but also the police side into solving these cases. Plus great acting.

Healing Hands - gave a perspective of how life is like inside the hospital and how doctors have to deal with different situations everyday.

The Brink of Law - every episope wants you to keep on watching. story line wasn't predictable at all.

The Ultimate Crime Fighter - shows that it don't matter how you look on the outside, it's your personality that counts. (moses and gigi) also didn't expect it to end like that.

Golden Faith - just great plot.

In The Triump of the Sky - beautiful scenaries. makes me want to go there. also great acting and storyline.

The Academy - teaches ppls that you shouldn't always fight with others to win. also shows that you don't have to listen to what others tells you to do, do what you want. (like when that rich girl wanted to be a police lady, her parents don't want her to)

At The Threshold of an Era - how good guy turns evil and loses. typical but great characters.

Dicey Business - some parts were funny. bobby and jessica did a great job and bosco was great at becoming a bum. hehe

wow.. most of the movies listed are more modern and not from too long ago. Sounds like it's either the people watching the movies are younger or they're making better movies now.. anyway.. great post!

Shine on you: Though the "students" in this series were kinda' fake and some of them looked too old to be students, it was a very enjoyable series and very funny too. Some touching scenes included when Kenix had to leave Roy (for I don't know what reason).

War & Destiny: I really love this show, although many said that Myolie's voice for the theme song really spoiled it, I think it was great It was also a sad show showing the war between China and Japan. But I really like the costumes and it was pretty romantic

Brink of Law: Exciting, really exciting, really really exciting. Hahaha, it was sort of tragic where so many people had to die. But Shirley and Michelle potrayed their characters really well

The Slicing Of The Demon: Even though I skipped a few episodes and it gets a bit draggy, I really like the chemistry betweeen Sunny and Beatrice in that show. And it gets good in the last few episodes. Though the ending was kind of rushed, it was still passable overall

The White Flame: Kind of an old show. It's really good and I love the theme song by Miriam. Charmaine was really cute in that show together with Sammul Chan. And the scenarios of them being nurses in the hospital was really good somehow.

Under The Canopy Of Love: It was a very funny series. But Niki's character gets a bit irritating. This is the series where I started liking Kevin and Niki together They have so much chemistry and look really good. This series is romantic, and hmmmmm, good.

Forensic Heroes: The scenes were really good and exciting. Didn't like the pairing between Frankie and Linda.

Safe Guards: Very interesting series. It was really exciting between the splitting of the assets thingie and the troubles they encountered. But it gets a big boring and draggy in a few episodes.

The (Most Beautiful) Seventh Day: Romantic, and VERY romantic. It's not a normal TVB production. It just gets more romantic. But I really didn't get why she had to die ): Not revealing names, it kind of new, for some people. Well, at least they bore a daughter

Wars Of In Laws: A very funny series. I LOVE the chemistry between Bosco and Myolie and they are uber cute together! Hahaha Liza Wang was very cute but sometimes annoying in this series.

Of course there are other shows I like for example Heart of Greed, War and Beauty, Dicey Business, Square Pegs, Point of No Return, Survivor Law, The Academy, Revolving Doors of Vengeance and many many more.
In simple words, MOST of the tvb serials (unlike Welcome to the House, and some annoying shows) are really good. But those ten are just those that left abit more memory to me

That series made me started to like her espeacially her song ''Truth'' in that same series.

This drama was gud and it made me like Niki and Kevin together

Some parts were jst so funny between bosco and myolie.

Love this series, great chemistry between characters, really interesting cases, good blend of personal relationships and cases but unfortunately a bit too scary!
2. Healing Hands 1-3
Love this series too, interesting characters though not always the best chemistry (HH1 always has the best chemistry), love seeing the professionalism of the doctors and medical scenes.
3. Forensic Heroes 1 & 2
Love forensics, love the way they show how they solve a case with both police and forensics, scientific and cool, nice cast though not the most effective.
4. To Catch the Uncatchable
Love Ada and Dayo here! Funny as!!!! Interesting, keeps up the liveliness and Ada is so pretty! Such a hilarious series.
5. Glittering Days
Charmaine was quite funny in this series, nice singing in here though. Quite a nice plot, nice characters
6. Secret of the Heart
Bit draggy incorporating too many subplots but overall pretty good I guess.
7. Golden Faith
Quite interesting but I found some scenes scary.
8. Point of No Return
Interesting chemistry between Julian and Charmaine but a bit old fashioned.
9. Maiden's Vow
Interesting seeing the different generations even though I missed out on the first generation.
10. At the Threshold of an Era
I hardly watched any of this, only towards the end of the first one where both sides of the family or something are feuding and in Philippines or something catching some person or other. I found it all very cool and interesting.

Only my top 4 are ones I really like, all the others I just tried thinking of them to fill up the spaces but they were quite good.

Ok have to add DIE is now on top of the list. It's the best of the best. Fully recommend it! Thumbs up!!

1. Detective Investigation Files IV - Louis & Jessica!! the cases were really interesting too and love the music.
2. Point of No Return - Chilam & Charmaine!! it was a really touching story.
3. Armed Reaction I-IV - the first one was the most memorable, the cases were pretty cool and the chemistry between Bobby & Esther, Joyce & Marco were awesome, didn't see II but III and IV was pretty good.
4. The Gentle Crackdown - Niki and Moses are soooooo funny!!!! Love how Moses alwayz faints!
5. Under the Canopy of Love - the chemistry of Kevin and Niki was amazing, the story was relaxing and fresh, really different to normal TVB productions.
6. The Seventh Day - what can I say...everything was beautiful in this series, Kevin & Niki's chemistry etc. Though the script was horribly written.
7. Forensic Heroes - love to watch Bobby, Yoyo, Frankie and all the cases...awesome storyline too. Forensic Heroes II sucked in terms of cases.
8. To Catch the Uncatchable - Three words: so freaking funny!!!!
9. The Family Link - the story was great, love all the characters..the chemistry between Kenneth and Leila was surprisingly good!
10. The W Files - loved it so much, Yoyo and Gallen were awesome. I actually went and "tried" to read the books because of this series even though my chinese sucks.

7. Triumph in the Skies: I love it cuz it was about planes and the love triangles

8. Survivor's Law: Loved myolie and raymond together and soo sweet! Survivor's Law 2 wasn't good because raymond and myolie wasn't in and bernice was only a guest..

9. Lost in the chamber of love: Loved MIchelles character espeically her makeup and the dress she word. I felt sorry for myolie because she always got beaten..

10. Kindred Spirit: Just love this show, because its mainly about family. But my favourite scene was when Kenix was getting married to Sunny and when JI HO kidnapped Ah mun.

It appears that most people's fav series are all the more recent ones... Somehow I prefer the older series....

Heart of Greed/Moonlight resonance
I've got to combine those 2 cos I ran out of space.... Anyway MR is considered part 2 of HOG, so just accept it k! I love this series.. It's definitely the best of 2007 and 2008 (up till now)
The characters in the show really made u like or hate them. The thing I like most about this series is the family closeness.... U can see that this family will kill anyone who tries and break them up (in both series), that's y I love them!

DIF 1-3
To me, this was the original police/detective show... The cases were intriguing, the love stories were so touching and the main cast were fantastic... Inspector Zhany Da Yong and Gao Jie will forever stick in my head! DIF 4 was not bad too, but I still prefer the original 3...

File of Justice 1-5
The best series of TVB I reckon... For 5 whole seasons, I sat thru each episode wondering what's going to happen next. The casts were fantastic too. We sort of grew up with those casts.. It's because of File of justice that I ended up liking lots of TVB stars...

Golden Faith
Any blockbuster with Gallen Lo is great!If there is Gallen Lo + Jessica Hsuan it's definitely the best! One of the greatest show in TVB history.. Even the reruns are breaking records, how bad can it be?? I actually re-watched this again last year and I still love it lots!

AT the threshold of an Era 1-2
Gallen Lo again... + Roger + Kenix + Ada + Flora... U can't go wrong with this cast.... Bloackbuster with this cast... A win win situation!

Secrets of the heart
This was so long ago too. I could only remember that I love this show alot. Considering that it consisted of Gallen, Jessica, Ada... I guess it was really good!

Cold blood warm heart
Gallen Lo again... + Jessica Hsuan again... This is prob my original blockbuster. I was too youug when I watched this, but I remembered I love this series lots and I was catching it daily for almost 3 months... It's amazing when i'm only about 10 years old.

Healing Hands 1-2
This was my original hospital show. I love Ada & Lawrence pairing in here. The sub characters were great too. And the hospital cases were so good too. For a period of my life, this really inspired me to be a doctor.. (just for a short period!) I haven't watched part 3 yet. Think when Ada died in part 2, part 3 was abit worthless already, cos I didn't like any of the pairing in part 3...

Triumph in the Sky
This show made me want to be an air stewardess! hahaha.... A very nice show that shows the lives of pilots and air stewardess... The only thing I didn't like about the show is the end.... when Flora did not end up with Francis... That was so unexpected considering they kept talking about fate bringing people together and yet it did not bring them back together. I believe this show oso helped a few up and rising starts rise, like Myolie and Ron and Bosco!

Journey to the west 1-2 (Dicky Cheung's version)
Probably the funniest series of any kind I've ever watched in my life.... I was constantly laughing through the series... I found myself trying to memorise the long phrase that Sun Wu Kong always say... An amazing show...

Basically any drama of 40 or above episodes starring (as many as possible) Gallen, Ada, Kenix, Jessica, Kenix or Bobby!

Heart of Greed – During the late 2006 and 2007, there were many series that have a large cast, big promotion, and poweful storyline. Heart of Greed was one of those. I have to say, the popularity of HOG was helped by the loads and loads of promotion but for the people who watched it, they can’t deny how powerful the storyline was. All attention was on HOG when it came out. For reasons like LSK and Susanna Kwan return to TVB. There was a lot of unforgettable moments in this serie and some of the performance in HOG was amazing. For example, LSK, and Susanna. If you look at this serie as a whole, lots of people will like it but there were certain things i didn’t about this serie. The cast had amazing chemistry but i was expecting more from the character’s individual storyline. Tavia and Bosco was a great pairing but i felt the writer didn’t put much effort into them. There were moments but i felt they didnt explore both actors well enough. Fala and Chris performance was also nice. Chris improved so much in this serie and i love his character.

A Pillow Case of Mystery – Starring Bobby, Kenix, Benny, Tavia and Annie. I wanted to watch this serie because i was looking forward to another Benny serie. This serie was really cute in a way and funny. The relationship between Bobby/ Kenix and Benny/Tavia is very good. Both pairing have great chemistry. The performances from the whole cast was amazing and i love the storyline. Lo Hoi Pang also did a great job as the Pillow God. There were some scenes that i didn’t understand but is definitely worth watching.

Dicey Business – Starring Bobby, Michael, Jessica, Benz Hui, Bosco and Tavia. First off, i love the cast. Everybody was looking foward to this serie because of Michael Miu. Although this serie was up and down for me, overall i was impressed. Bobby’s performance was excellent, Michael Miu on the other hand didn’t impressed me. Is not his fault but the writers. I understand he was supposed to act as a cold-hearted man but there was little scene where he display his acting skills. Jessica performance was good. Her acting was convincing and she can do comedy really well. Bosco storyline had me going in circles. It was not so realistic as i wanted it to be...the changes was just too dramastic and fast. Tavia’s character...to be honest i don’t know what to say. Overall her performance was ok but what i didn’t like is the storyline of her character. Finally Benz! I love him here! Funny and charming! His acting impressed me.

Journey To The West I– Two word. Timeless classic. Starring Dicky Cheung, Kong Wah, Wayne Lai and Evergreen Mak. I have to admit the storyline was not the best, but i watched this serie when i was really young. I still remember sitting on the couch with my whole family and watching this at dinner time. The fact that i love this serie so much is because this is just one of those classic that kids love so much. Dicky Cheung preformance was amazing and so lovable! The storyline was also very entertaining and fun. Truly a memorable serie.

War and Beauty – Although this serie came out in 2004, I will still consider this a classic for times to come.First off, I love the cast! Charmaine, Maggie, Sheren were amazing in the serie. And i love a serie that have a strong female cast. Aside from the touching storyline, the sceneries is amazing. When you watch the serie you know how much effort the director and crew members put in to the serie. I find this serie very realistic. The storyline of each characters display human stuggles and society pressure.

A Step Into The Past – This serie is not for people who love anicent chinese history. It lacks historical details. This serie is mostly based on romance storyline and brotherhood. The main reason i like this serie is because it is very entertainment and it have alot of funny scene. The chemisty between Louis and Jessica is undeniable. I remember watching this when i was really young and i never missed an episode.

The Legendary Four Aces – Again another classic TVB serie. I mean how can you not love this serie? The male casts in this serie is very strong and so is the female casts. Inculding Bobby, Nick Cheung, Gordom Lam, Marco Ngai, Esther Kwan, Nadia Chan and etc. I love this serie even more because its a very smart, funny yet lighthearted serie.

The King of Yesterday And Tomorrow – Starring Kong Wah, Maggie Cheung, and Melissa Ng. Another serie telling a story of a man traveling back/to another time period. I love this serie because of Kong Wah. When he is in the future, his expression and actions is really funny and entertaining. His relationship with Maggie and Melissa is also really good. Although i didn’t like the ending.

Feminine Masculinity – Starring Gallen Lo, Flora Chan, and Kong Wah. Three of TVB most recognized actors/actress. I love the whole exploring the gender thing. Gallen and Flora is one of my favourite pairing and seeing them working together is great. This serie is always very funny and entertaining.

To Catch The Uncatchable – This is a very funny serie, thanks to the writers and Dayo’s preformances. The storyline line is quite good and it is interesting. The ending however is not everybody’s cup of tea lol. Dayo is again exellent in this serie, he can do comedy really well. As for Ada, is nice to see her in a not so serious drama. She did a good job as well, along with Michael Tong.

Ok Here's my list:

1) Blood of Good and Evil - I love this series...everything was just right and nothing was really rushed. The music was great and the actors were brilliant. Sad...I didn't watch it at the time of its popularity because i was too young.

2) Dicey Business - was surprisingly good. Bobby's acting is fantastic as always.

3) DIV 1-4 - I love watching detective cases. The actors/actresses were great there too.

4) Eternal Happiness - I really like this show...the chemistry was just perfect.

5) Armed Reaction - Esther and bobby was a hit!

6) War of Genders - classic comedy and I still love that show. Dayo was brilliant and Dodo was exceptional - too bad there's ONLY 50 chapters lol.

7) Legendary Four Aces - It was abit long but had all the great actresses/actors.

8) Return of Condor Heroes - So good...definitely A+

9) Journey to the West - My first series...I couldn't stop thinking about it. Enuff said, Dicky is the MONKEY KING!

10) Secret of the Heart/Files of Justice and Cold Blood Warm Heart - I don't think I watched either at its time of popularity but I heard great reviews and watched it. It was really good quality series.

Other notable ones to mention are Kind of Yesterday and Tomorrow, Step into the Past, I heard Looking back at anger was good, Threshold of Era was ok, burning flame was good too, Revolving Doors was good, To Catch the Uncatchable, Matter of Customs, Point of No Return, Legal Entanglement, Virtues of Harmony ancient version, Healing Hands (1-3), Lady Flower Fist, Witness to a prosecution, feminine masculinity (classic comedy - supernatural TVB series), old time buddy (funny), Instinct, Breaking Point, Challenge of Life, Gods of Honour, Outburst, Happy Ever after, golden faith, where legend begins...the list goes on...

Most of my favorite series are older series.
(In no particular order)

<Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils '96> Definitely one of the best series TVB ever produced! I loved it, definitely Benny Chan's character. He played his role really well!

<Heaven Sword & Dragon Sabre '86> I liked the version with Tony Leung the best, i think it's from the influence from my mom, since she is a big fan of Tony. This is probably the best version of this story too.

<Journey to the West I and II> I really liked these two series, they were both really funny. I probably liked the sequel more, since the graphics were better than the first one, but I also like Dicky's version of the monkey king too.

<Burning Flames> I only liked the first one, I didn't like the second one that much. After watching this series, I wanted to become a firefighter, but that was when I was younger, haha~

<Detective Investigation Files I-IV> Main reason is because I like police stories, I especially like the suspense they give you, I liked the cast for both versions, the fourth one was really good too. Although I missed the other cast a bit, but I also like Sunny and Louis too, except I didn't like the ending that much. Since Louis and Jessica didn't end up together.

<At the Threshold of an Era I and II> I really liked this series, although I didn't really like Gallen's character, but I loved the storyline. I didn't like how Kenix died at the end of the first one/the beginning of the second one. I really wished that Gallen ended up with Flora in the second one though.

<Eternal Happiness> This was a really good series, although I didn't like Myolie's character, i still really liked the chemistry between Raymond and Michelle. I fell in love with the two of them after watching this series.

<Lofty Waters Verdant Bow> This series was not that great, but I loved Raymond and Michelle together and their chemistry. But I hated Rain Li in this series though.

<Triumph in the Sky> The first series that talked about pilots, after watching this series, I had the dream about becoming a pilot for a while. Haha~

<Dream of Colors> The main reason why I liked this series was because i wanted to become a fashion designer, and this series was the first and only series about fashion that TVB ever made. I really liked some of the clothes that were shown in that series.

1. Forensic Heroes 1&2: I love a good detective/crime show. The Hong Kong entertainment should make more of those. It's fun to watch, and you don't necessarily have to follow every episode religiously to know what it's about.

2. The Green Hope: I loved Stephen Fung and Bowie's characters and how they interacted with each other. It also had an awesome plot.

3. Journey to the West (the original with Dicky Cheung): I watched it when I was little and thought it was the most famazing thing ever. And plus, most of the actors were pretty good.

4. Burning Flames I & II: I liked the original one a little more, but overall they're both pretty good series. And I loved Jenny's (the little girl) character on the show.

5. Where the Legend Begins: I liked the story and the costumes. Plus, I was rooting for Ada and Steven's characters.

6. Twin of Brothers: I liked their costumes (I tend to focus a lot on that aspect). Plus, Ron and Raymond gave nice performances. I was definetely rooting for Ron and Leila's characters to be together, plus I thought the entire cast was pretty cool (Raymond, Tavia, etc.).

7. Witness to a Prosecution: Nice "detective-like" feel to it.

8. Street Fighters: This was a pretty funny and enjoyable series. For some strange reason I really liked Michelle Yip and Edmund Leung's characters being a couple.. I dunno it's weird, but Hacken's character was my favorite because he was hilarious.
The Ultimate Crime Fighter: Moses and Gigi gave great performances, plus it was funny. A little upset about the whole Moses and Yoyo ending.

9. Chor Lau Heung (with Richie Ren): I thought it was a nice story. My favorite couple was Cheung Sai (Lei Hung Jau) and Hoi Chun Kit (Suet Cheung Hung), but too bad their story didn't last long. Either way, again, I thought Ruby Lin and Gigi Lai's costumes were pretty cool.

10. War of the Genders: Funny to watch and catchy theme song.

The Gem Of Life: I Just love this Series, Never have i been so emotionally Attached to a series / character. The cast Was Grand and Awsome, i just wanted more and more and more, it was abit dragy but how the series was gradually moving froward and everything fitted, was awsome, how at the begining we could have never what was happening now at the end! adn all characters had a purpose in the series and each character had a sin part no body was perfect. the series is awsome! Just one of my all time Favourites no doubts.

Dicey Business: The chemistry between the Characters was Awsome, i was totally in Love with Michael and Jessica, and Also Bota and the Chemistry between Bobby and Bosco, all the characters have Chemistry with eachother, and How Benz kept Calling bobby and Michael Honey and Baby, Helerious.

The Drive of Life: One of my all time favourites aswell, it was abit draggy like TGOL but i loved it, The cast was strong and acted their part really well, How the end was REally dramatic for me, when Damien was Lecturing Joe. Sigh"i cried.

-Moonlight Resonance/HOG (It's kinda the same for me) - Cast were good, storyline was interesting to watch, had suspense kind of. Also, it's a family drama which I like to watch.
-The Seventh Day - LOVE the chemistry of Bosco and Natalie. Kevin and Niki's story was nice to watch too cause their chemistry was touching. Even though Niki died at the end, the ending wasn't that bad. It ended nicely.
-War of In Laws I (not the 2nd part) - Boscolie chemistry! Also I liked Myolie and Liza always arguing and competing. Had funny scenes to watch.
-A Journey Called Life - Linda and Steven's chemistry was enjoyable and sweet to watch. I liked Linda's acting here cause you can see how she changed throughout the series. Ending was happy.
-Love Bond - Another family series kinda like. Chemistry between Bernice and Moses were funny, Michael was such a nice guy and I liked his pairing with Kenix.
-A Pillow Case of Mystery - Cases were interesting to watch, cute how Bobby used the pillow to solve cases, chemistry between Bobby and Kenix, also Benny with Tavia.
-Dicey Business - very exciting to watch how Michael and Bobby competing each other, the cuteness of Bosco and Tavia, the entire series was enjoyable.
-Eternal Happiness - Loved Michelle and Raymond. Funny to watch how Raymond was slow in his reaction and took him awhile to find out he already met his fiancee.
-Survivor's Law I (2nd part was ok) - I liked all 4 of the leads here. Raymond was goofy and sweet in here.
-Better Halves - Steven was just silly altogether. Had too many funny parts and their chemistry too. This had a very nice ending!

Although I have 10, I want to include Forensic Heroes 1 and 2 as well. Both series were interesting to watch. I loved how they solved each case and the chemistry between Bobby & Yoyo, Linda & Frankie, Charmaine & Kevin.
