i agreeee, fahrenheit's debut is nowhere as strong as dbsk's. i think its probably because for dbsk, the company picked members that had potential and talent...not just good looking faces (although jaejoong is pretty smoking..lol).

i don't think any of fahrenheit's members are good singers. arron perhaps, and maybe he'd be even better if he trains more, but all the other members seem more into acting than singing.

i used to be obsessed with fahrenheit (especially wu zun), and i'd watch a lot of their clips. In a lot of talk shows where each fahrenheit member has to show their unique talents, wu zun almost NEVER sings unless hes forced. and sometimes when he IS forced, he makes the other members sing with him too...which is really weird cause isn't he suppose to be a "singer".

a lot of Taiwanese boybands are not really THERE to be the everlasting boybands, the companies just seems to PUT them in the public just to gain the money in short time... then they will just go die...

*except for 5566, Energy, 183 Club maybe... those 3 boybands that i still found that they can really sing and dance... i don't know why 5566 seems so die, they have potentials actually... but Energy is still ALIVE with the new member....*



me too actually, when i first knew WZ was from Tokyo Juliet.. i watched the first episode and the second episode, i really hooked up with his appearance there... and i was like going crazy all over him.. but then... after watching the show 'til the middle where the story seemed extremely boring with all the jealousy and quarreling plot, i gave up... because at the same time, i also got the chance to watch Prince who turns into a frog... and in my surprise, i was MORE hooked up with Ming Dao because Ming Dao really showed something in that series.. as for WZ, just quickly died on me... hahahaha
guess that, i only looked WZ from his good looking, not more than that... moreover people are getting all over him... i finally realized, what's good about him anyway? good looking?

maybe their company feels they would do better in acting because album sales have to be distributed among the four of them, whereas in acting, they get paid individually.

but i do feel that mingdao has more acting potential than wuzun, although wuzun's expressions are improving from tokyo juliet. in romantic princess, wooo, i crack at his facial expressions sometimes. his voice is kinda breathy too, and that is a slight turn off for me. i think he acts better in angry roles.

mm as for jiro, calvin and arron, i think they're doing pretty fine now in their current shows (x family which has aired finished, romantic princess which is still showing, and iswak 2, starring both arron and jiro. anticipating that(: )

yeah...FRH did improve a little on live, they dont go off tone as much. the first time i watched their live, i was TOTALLY blown away. it was probably the most awful vocal i've ever heard. i think they did put in some effort, but that's still not enough...other than aaron whom i believe should definitely go solo, chun, jiro, and calvin are just......too far from being singers. it's better for them to concentrate on acting rather than singing, which means that there's no point for them to stay together as a band.

I don't think Fahrenheit deserve to get the fame.
Firstly, they don't really have talent.
But 2 of them though, can be accepted.

Eg.

Wu Zun = He can't sing. His acting isn't that great. It looks stiff to me.

Calvin = He's singing isn't really nice. His acting. Worse than Wu Zun.

Jiro = Singing not THAT great. But at least he can play the guitar & his acting is SUPER better than the two above.

Arron = Though his singing isn't as great as other famous singer, I think only he has the ability to go far. I don't understand why Wu Zun is the one popular now. Arron's acting can be improved but overall, he's okay.

And I also realised that their fans all depend on their looks. I guess if Fahrenheit doesn't have their looks, Fahrenheit won't be where they are now. Jiro & Arron are the only ones that deserves to be popular, if they try hard. I don't see what's so great about Wu Zun. Calvin, he's funny but some of his jokes are lame.

^^ sorry to say that not all Fahrenheit's fans depend on their looks.. i know that girls just loves to see hot guys.. but for me, i don't go for that..coz i think every single members in boy bands have looks, not only Fahrenheit, so i think looks is nothing interesting to me... but most importantly, talents count.. i know that Fahrenheit is only two years and a half month now.. i believe that someday they proof that they can do better than they are now... i notice that nowadays they are getting lots and lots of improvement from their singing & acting... i like all the members in Fahrenheit, coz every each of them as their own personality... they should get the fame for their hard works, if not they better don't enter the entertainment industry.

my favourite in Fahrenheit is Wu Zun, of coz u can see from my signature below... to tell the fact that i like him not because of his look but i just admire his amiable attitude. i mean that i like to see the way he cope between his career as an artiste and the way he handled his business... he don't go around to be famous, but his kind attitude that mostly make him more friendly, caring toward others that make me like him... i don't see why people keep comparing because of their looks only... but this is just my opinions..no offence to everyone here...

before they join as a group, i recalled that Arron & Jiro have act in a drama before between in either year 2004 or 2005... i can see that they have talent and now they did it very well... as youngest member in Fahrenheit, i pity of Arron because of his leg injuries.. i know that he too feel sad that he part of from Fahrenheit from his moment awhile and he have to skip his dance lessons several times... seeing him celebrate his birthday just make me happy that he's now getting better and i could see his cute smile.. i miss his smile!!!

Entertain me, what are Fahrenheit's talents? And I mean it as a group.



So what if they are only two year and half a month old? Talent is not something to be learned or experienced. Take Aaron and Jiro for example. From the start, people could tell that they really did have some talents[singing for Aaron, and acting for Jiro], so most people are willing to give them more time to prove them that they are able to do it well, not only knowing how to do it.




Hark works? I'll say hard work with quality. In FRH's case, there might be hard work, but I don't see the quality.

As i say, that is only my opinions and that is what i see from them. Every people have their own different way of thinking, if you don't accept what i say, then forget it.... to me, i think that every new groups start with weak reaction then it will slowly grow up tremendously.... so i don't wish any reply from what i say here...

Yea, i agree with rockerrofmylife. for me, the definition of talent is like jjlin, or leehom, show etc. fahrenheit....is nowhere close. sure they can sing, but who can't? i can hold a tune as good as any one of them yet im not famous lol. as for acting, well..they can only play one role. jiro is always some type of comic relief and wu zun is always the handsome prince. not very versatile. everything they do is just average, nothing really stands out (besides their looks....SO hot).

at first when I first heard of them I was like, "meh." but after listening to my sister listening to their music non-stop, they're grown onto me. I'm not a big fan of them though.

I just listen to their music and watch them on youtube when I'm bored. My sister in the other hand.....she got their ablum, watch every show they're in and planning to buy all for of their plushies XD

I actually like Arron outta Fahrenheit but as a group I don't think they should be together. Of course there is such thing as improvement as time goes by. But they are singers, they were created for singing not acting! How many albums have they released since their actual debut as 'Fahrenheit' together? Take TANK for example, he debuted the same time they did, he's realeased at least two decent albums already. Because the reason is TANK entered the business as a composer/singer and he's stuck to that, where as Fahrenheit once again seems to be created for acting and it seems that they are kept as Fahnrenheit just for the sake of the company. Some of them do have potential, but it's not being properly viewed. Arron can sing, Jiro can act, Chun has mediocre acting and Calvin (...) We all know and admit it that Fahrenheit as known for their pretty faces to the point whether if they are bad or not they will be accepted. But it's not their fault, It's how the world is now a days!

I do think their popularity is dying. I rarely see anymore news of theirs. I guess the RP and X-Family hype went down a little. But then, it may go up again when They Kissed Again releases.

What a shame they didn't managed to last long with their looks, but I'm happy for them. Maybe by realizing their looks can't be as dependable, they or their company will actually put them under some training.

And for some of the fans that keep on saying I love them not because of their looks, don't try to lie to yourselves and others here because it's obvious there's nothing to like them for besides their face. And it's okay to admit you only like them for their looks it's not a sin. After all their looks is still part of who they are. Actuallu Fahrenheit have improved ALOT, if you listen to their new song Bu Hui Ai and Xiao Xiao Da Ren Wu. WuZun usually sings as th BASS, Jiro as BARITONE, while Calvin and Arron th TENORS. actually their vocal ranges are very suitable for harmonising too. Regarding their live, their singing was indeed a turn off last time, but their live now improved leaps and bounds! but one thing i have to say is, Arron's voice is th one that pulls th whole song together, if not they'll sound totally off key. Regarding th comparison between TANK and FAHRENHEIT, i feel that you're wrong. That's th difference between singers and artistes, perhaps. People like David Tao, Gary Cao and Tank are those who write songs for themselves and sing them nicely. They don't have much of an image and stuffs, and people usually like them for their voice and songs. For Fahrenheit, S.H.E, Show or whoever, those are people called artistes to ENTERTAIN people out there. Whether its with music, acting, dancing, looks, programmes they attend and stuffs. They do abit from everything. Theie singing may not be as good as Tank and th others, but th main point of them to exist here is to entertain us and bring smiles to our faces (:

In general I was never a fan of any boybands especially asian boybands. Along came Fahrenheit. And I will say, that yes, the first thing that caught my attention was indeed their looks. Nothing more.
And to answer someone's comment. About why their popularity isnt dying down. It's cause they're constantly releasing dramas now, that's why. And they're promoting lots of merchandise.
Haha, I'd have to say, Fahrenheit dont have astounding talent at all. And the improving comment, I would have to say, is for their live singing. Urgh, how I used to just cringe and then go watch something else. Their live singing now is better. Not all that great, but it can pass as OK. And yes I now wonder why HIM put them up as a singing group when I find they will find more success in the acting area. Individually, you can point out a lot of their singing flaws, but as you can see, Im a fan of Arron's, and I think his voice is pretty good, cannot be compared to the likes of singers you guys mentioned above, but it has potential if it is nurtured properly. As a group, they are not that bad (reason why I like them) needs lots of work, but I would not blatantly say that it is so horrible and has no talent whatsoever. And to say, yes looks does get you so far, but fans sometimes find more reasons to like them, haha not just based on their career, but maybe as a real human being. And now, I will be hit with questions such as "How would you know what they are on tv is how they are on real life?" and questions so forth like that. and I shall reply, it's called watching, and then analysing what you see to come up with your own conclusion. I love Fahrenheit, because haha, yes they are indeed very good looking, but they do make me laugh, and they generally make me happy. Not everything is logical. TW likes to promote boybands because they sell. And please you cannot deny the fact that most bands were promoted in the first place for their looks. yes their singing was a part of the reason, but looks plays a major part.

Hi People! Here to state my opinion friendlyly.

I love Fahrenheit, at first when they came out i liked them and only thought they acted, so i liked their acting, but then after a while i discovered they sang. I liked their songs. But then i saw a concert clip & realised they were lip-synching. In my opinion i do not like people who lip-sync because unless they have good reason (cold, dancing) they should not lip-sync if their voice is what is making them famous. Then i saw the countdown.....and well i felt a bit weary of them but netherless i still loved them and supported them because i knew theyd improve in time. And this video, a recent one in KL shows that they infact have. You cannot deny that they havent in comparism to the countdown performance, its a bit shaky at first but get into it and you can tell its an improvement: (and arron is not there, so it would have been absolutely great with arron)

DBSK has been trainin since birth so you have to compare FRH to a band that started out from the same level. They see something special in their idol which maybe a neutral fan may not see.

Yea. Fahrenheit won't survive long in the industry without their looks. They won't be as popular as they are now. But I can assure you that there will still be a number of fans who will support them. I know that saying they've improved is like so outdated already. But I mean what I said. They're really improving. If not Wu Zun, whom you said just need to smile infront of the camera and he'll get all the spotlight, at least give Arron, Jiro and maybe Calvin a chance. Because from my experience, most FRH haters tend to say Wu Zun sucks in acting singing whatsoever. That's why they hate Fahrenheit. I mean, how can you hate a group just because of one of its member. Wu Zun may not be the best actor/singer, but I can see he is working hard.

Fahrenheit, I must say, hasn't reach the level of which I can say is the best boyband. Yes, like what some of you said, they'd reach their 30s by the time they are considered good. Hmm. Well, maybe they can venture into acting, instead of singing? Or maybe Arron, who seems to be the youngest, could continue singing, since he has the best voice in the group.

After all that I've said, I'll be honest. I don't think Fahrenheit is that great either. They have loads to improve. But it's just that I love them for some reason, and I believe they have potential if they work for it.

and it isnt their fault they look so good either. there are some people who counts what they do as talent, and i dont blame them cuz i once thought that way too, but i still love this group!
even though calvin isnt the best looking out of the bunch, he is still trying.
i mean, which group hasnt tried out there to come to the place they are today? seriously..
and i guess everyone is fine with arron since i believe, hes the best out of the group.. if only his leg would heal so he can show us some dance moves! >;[

I AM JUST STATING MY OPINION.

I agree that everyone is entitled to their own thoughts, so I am not going to say anything against anyone here, but I just want to share my point of view. I don't mind if you disagree with me, I just hope that there will be respect.

With that said, I would like to start with I am a fan of FRH and I will support them always.

I'll admit I first noticed FRH because of Jiro and I like Jiro the best, but that is another discussion. I like FRH as a whole because I think that all 4 guys are uniquely talented in their own ways.

Arron has a great voice and can sing well. Calvin has an infectious smile and singing/acting wise he has improved a lot. Chun's voice is deep and he can sing fairly well and his acting is decent. Jiro used to be the lead singer of DCW and the rocker style suits him best, but when it comes to singing ballads and more boybandish music his voice has a distinctness and I am impressed by how much he has gone through (he hasn't lived an easy life and his health isn't good, so please don't be ignorant about him) and how much his singing has improved.

Believe it or not, but FRH's LIVE singing has improved greatly and I really love their new CD. I will admit their earlier live singing was almost painful to watch, but now I am really proud of them Something to keep in mind is that DBSK and other Korean groups had to undergo PROFESSIONAL training before they debut, but in TW that isn't the case, many singers have no official musical training at all. FRH has a cute little dance in their Xin Li You Shu MV which shows that their dancing has gotten better as well (I still think whomever choreographs for them needs to be shot), but I must stress that FRH is not a dance group like Energy or BBT! They are a singing/acting group.

It isn't true that FRH can only last and be popular based on their looks because believe me, if that were the case than why are groups like KOne or Eastyle, whom have really hot looking guys btw aren't as popular? Believe me I'm not dissing on these two groups because I really like them too and think they are super talented. So what does FRH have that can launch them to so much fame? It is because they CAN act and they CAN sing and there is just a quality about them that draws so many people in.

All groups work hard to get to where they are and FRH deserves the fame that they have now. People might think that it isn't well deserved and people might find it strange that FRH is popular at all, but honestly FRH has talent and yes, they are good looking too, but that isn't the point, the point is that when they sing together now their voices blend really well and individually each have improved A LOT. Try listening to Yi Wan Ge Kuai Le on their new CD for an example. Or even look up their current LIVE performance of Xin Li You Shu to see how well they sing now. Acting wise, all of them have natural talent. Some people might find Jiro's characters to be annoying and not serious, but it really shows that he CAN act because not all actors can pull off the "over" ness that Jiro can. Chun wouldn't be getting so many acting roles if there wasn't something about his acting that draws people in. Also, his Chinese has improved greatly considering where it was in the beginning, so that is something to admire. Watch FRH's Bu Hui Ai MV to see Calvin at his finest. I really think there is something about Calvin when he smiles that lights up the room and he is actually a really funny, light-hearted guy Calvin's acting isn't bad either, watch KO ONE to see. Arron's acting is good too, KO ONE and The X-Family are good examples. Right now Jiro is filming for Rolling Love, Chun is filming for Hot Shot and Arron is filming for The Clue Collector, and I can bet it isn't because of their looks, but rather because they CAN act.

And for those that haven't seen FRH live or in person can judge all they want, but honestly something that re-confirmed my love for FRH and how great they are is when my sister (who by the way is the biggest critic ever of TW entertainment and boy bands) went to Taiwan and saw FRH live and afterwards came home telling me that she just became a fan of FRH because she was impressed by them.

Anyhows, these are just my thoughts in defense of FRH. You can disagree or agree or whatever. All I am saying is please be educated on FRH before dissing FRH or individual members. ADD GAS Fahrenheit!

i actually do think that many of frh's fans like them for their looks. me and a few friends had liked them when they first started (mostly cause wu zun is SO hot!), but after awhile, that started to fade and we were wondering what we liked them for besides their looks.

i really don't think fahrenheit has improved THAT much. i was listening to one of their new songs (forgot what it was called but they play like..a board game or something? and they're the peices in the game), and unfortunately, they sounded better in their older songs. in this song, it just seemed like they were speaking rather than singing.

That's the arraignment of the song. That's how it was meant to sound by the lyricist.

I don't think you should judge their improvement from one song you heard off their new album. Listen to some more songs and then check out their past and recent live performances before you say anything else.

No one in Fahrenheit is hitting spectacular notes left and right, but their improvement is undeniable. <--- Gee, look. It's another sane and not-blinded Fahrenheit fan. Yes, there are quite a few of us.

I can't help myself but I have to defend my FAHRENHEIT.
Yes I am one of their FAN,The blind fan that you are talking about.It's not only me but a thousands out there.I am not Chinese,I don't understand Chinese and I don't live in Asia.In fact I live here in U>S where the best of the BEST would like to succeed.[HOLLYWOOD}But I become a FAN just because,I know they are not perfect and they are a long way to go

what?! WHO'S CALLING FAHRENHEIT FANS BLIND? I don't think you really know the reason why we like them...so don't say stuff like that.
I have my own story and my own reasons of why I like FAHRENHEIT....I'm sure a lot of frh fans do too...if not...if i only liked them for thier looks, would I have stayed with them for about a year now?

People who say we are blind are just too little shallow to give them a chance for improvement. Also, although those people are too self-centered to give them a chance, they should at least realize that looks can worn out...so people wouldn't stay with frh for so long if they only liked their looks.

But I do admit that you may run across shallow fans who will only like them for their looks...just don't assume that every fan is like that.
