Despite the name similarity, I actually find Kim Bum look a bit like Ki Bum himself, when I first saw him in the dance battle between SNSD, Wonder Girls, Kara and Black Pearl. He was so embarrassed in there! I don't know whether this is true; my friend told me that he had six girlfriends before?? Wow, that's very shocking. I mean, yeah, he's cute, but he's still so young! Six girlfriends is a bit exaggerated. Hmm...

So far I'm liking him as Yi Jeong in Boys Over Flowers. When I have time I will have to watch East of Eden!

Your character is a player. Are you like that?
"I am not a player. But there are some similarities in terms of personality. That I have a lot of pride (literal translation: that my pride is strong). That I can be very playful and cheerful, but on the inside at any time, I worry."

Do you have a girlfriend? What is your ideal person?
"I don't have a girlfriend. Ever since I started this line of work, I haven't had a girlfriend. My ideal person is someone who's elegant, cute, and has a lot of charms. More than anything, I like good communication. That we have a solid chemistry as a foundation. This kind of work can result in an inconsistent schedule; it can start in the morning and end the next morning. I like a person who will be able understand that."

There's a love line with Ga-eul that's developing. How will it turn out?
"If you look at the original work, Ga-eul meets a bad guy and ends up getting hurt, and during that time, there is a scene in which Yi Jeong goes to teach him a lesson. Wouldn't there be a scene with Jun-pyo/Jan-di on a double date? The most important episode is about his family history and his first love. I think it'll be given more weight in the Korean version."

kylieC love, Bum appears in Episodes 2 - 5 of East of Eden. It's an intense story, and Bum's acting made viewers cry a lot, which resulted in the high popularity of the drama. Beware to prepare a lot of tissues if you tend to cry watching dramas .... lol
If you want to go for a lighter story, I suggest "Rude Women/Outrageous Women". It's funny, touching, and Bum appears in almost all the episodes
