Synopsis:

I watched CJXS before TLBB, and even though they're two different stories filled with different elements, TLBB just couldn't beat the feel of CJXS. Sword of the Oulaw has been one of the best wuxia series I've seen since HSDS 2002. The fight scenes are great though limited, and there's a small use of CG's (which I love, mostly just straightforward swordplay). In addition to all this, you get Chen Kun and Li Bing Bing; a super-talented onscreen-couple that always seem to light up the screen.

I couldn't agree with you more about this serie. This is indeed a good serie. I like the storyline very much, wich always raised the question regarding the good and evil within a person, a society, not to mention the enviroment one lives in. However, the characters acted out the theme in such a convinced way that was totally believeable.

Furthermore, I love the characters of Chen Kun and Li Bing Bing, as they had such a good on-screen chemistry. Their love is simple and deep without complications such as jealousy and misunderstanding everthough there was a third part in their relationship.

And eventhough the ending was a tragic one, however, it felt right somehow, like Chen Kun's character couldn't imagine living a life withouth Li Bing Bing's character. I don't know, such an ending is somehow unforgettable.

great words.....sometime love meant more then it should be, their love is just so wonderful...li bing bing gave out everything that she could to chen kun...and in return...she has make him a better person then he think he is....

I'm really glad to hear that there are others who actually appreciate this series as well. The series had such a nice feel to it, so much that some of these newer series nowadays can't even create. I also love the fact that the production included mvs, as a way of slowing down time and really sucking you into the mood. The music is just so good!

The performances by Chen Kun and LBB are truly touching. When the story seems to have slowed down, their chemistry becomes the driving force of the series. And as windcross has stated, that ending was tragic, but it seemed so right. I was even teary eyed, but so very satisfied.

i luv it so much...cheng kun is handsome ( as usual ^^ ) and li bing bing is adorable as FENG ER...the daughter of number 1 kung fu master, FENG QI...
but the ending is sad though.....
i wouldn't give any spoiler since many people don't like spoiler....

anyway.....should watch...full of beautiful men and women ^^

This series is ok, a bit boring. But the overall story is really sweet and nice. The main cast is awesome. Ren and Bing Bing makes a very good couple, they also looked good together in The Knot (a movie).

The ending was indeed sad! not like the typical series.

Oohh.. I am going to try to download this now, since Li Bing Bing is in it!! I'm currently watching her "Zai Sheng Yuan" series, and I really like it.

i fell in love with chen kun after "the conquer"(think thats the name), he's very sexy
story sounds great from what ive heard so far, but i cant seem to find it anywhere for download
