HONG KONG DRAMA AND CHINA REALLY HANE MANY DIFFRENT .....

NOWDAYS.....WE CAN SEE...GOT MANY EX TVB ARTIST GO TO CHINA FILMED CHINA SERIES DRAMA EXPCEIALLY FLORA CHAN , MICHELLE YIP , GALLEN LO AND ETC.......

FOR ME I REALLY DONT LIKE WATCH CHINA DRAMA ....

THE DRAMA IS TOO KINDED BORED.....DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ACTING AND THE PLOT DRAMA REALLY BORED.....AND THE STORY IS REALLY OUTDATE...AND THEN THE CHINA ARTIST IN THAT DRAMA ....THEY ACTING THE ROLE LOOK LIKE NO ENERGY AND SLOW MOTION....

IF GOT THE EX TVB ARTIST.....MAYBE THE DRAMA MORE BETTER...BECOUSE FOR ME ....THE ARTIST COME FROM TVB IS REALLY HAVE TALENTED TO ACTING .....THAT WHY I LIKE TVB DRAMA.....MORE UPDATE

tvb all the way, i tried to watch a series from the mainland, they are always so drawn out, they have whole episodes where the characters barely get through 1 day, the pacing is horrible.

HK for me, China does seem a bit boring. And I always have this image of my mind of it being dull in color for some reason.

I've tried watching some China ones before, and they're really not as interesting as the Hong Kong entertainment scene. It's a real drag to watch them. It might not be the actors' fault, but the scriptwriter.

Improve on the plot, China!

But I have to agree that if the China drama has Hong Kong actors in it, it makes things not so bad.

of course the choice is definitely hk drama.....somehow the colors shown in china drama is always dull.....

I like the hong kong dramas much better, the makeup is done better and the scenery is pretty.

CUZ HK ACTORS WHO ACTS FOR ATV HAF NO FEELINGS NO EMOTION, I AM NOT SAYING HK ACTORS, BUT MOST OF THEM...AS FOR THE MAINLAND SERIES, THEY ARE GOOD AT ACTING, LIKE THE CHINESE PLADINE, AND BLIND DECTIVES....THE NEW ATV SERIES NO TURNING BACK WITH AMY KWOK AND PATRICK IS BORING....*SIGH*

I totally support HK drama. HK dramas has one of the best scripts and stories. And the actors you can see they are getting better and better.

I like both! The hk ones and the mainland ones. There are very good mainland ones, like return of condor heroes 06, lost city in snow heaven, chinese paladin...etc.

i personally also love HK Drama only, it is far more better than China Drama. Maybe because of the scenery, shots, acting and the most important, the actors and actress. They are much more professional and are better looking. Maybe i watched tvb series too lot therefore only like hk drama. i have also watched some china series such as Proud Twins and The Chinese Ghost Story coz there are several HK Actors/Actress.

i find hk are better.. maybe it's becaues i'm soo accustomed to watching hk dramas and the cast. though some china dramas are good....

TVB Dramas. I grew up with that. I cant stand most of the china series.

china usually have higher budget than hong kong therefore their storyline are usually longer and better quality. However, I prefer tvb since I'm more familiar with their artists.

Hong Kong Dramas for me (TVB). I find the plot more intresting, the setting, outfits, designs, and i can also understand it. Also theres something that i REALLY hate about mainland dramas, theyre voices are always dubbed.

I think the average TVB drama is better than the average china drama.


BUT the really good ancient china dramas outshines the really good tvb ancient drama, IF it has good direction and storyline, as they tend to be more "epic" and grand, especially the scenery and costumes, since the tvb dramas are usually filmed in the same places and they recycle costumes so much. Also, since there are less tvb actors compared to the large pool in China, it also makes it somewhat less convincing when I see the same actor in ancient dress and a couple hours later in modern dress.

HK dramas are a little more flexible and diverse with their genres. Mainland dramas are pretty much generalized to the following categories - historical or wuxia.

China's historical dramas are REALLY good though, much better than HK's. As for their wuxia ones... not so much. Although their wuxia dramas appear to be epic, they aren't as enjoyable as HK ones. Overall, I prefer HK dramas... but that's just my taste.

v lol you're comparing with two completely different genres. There is no doubt that Mainland dramas have epic battle scenes and way better than what HK can get (after all Mainland, DOES have the scenery...), but have you even watched Mainland drama's attempt on romance? It's even worse.

I'm voting for mainland. I find HK dramas to be extremely boring: "here's some recycled actors who we think are way hot. THEY FALL IN LOVE. AND THEN THEY FALL OUT OF LOVE. AND THEN THEY FALL IN LOVE WITH MULTIPLE PEOPLE. AND THEN DUE TO CRAZY LOVE AFFAIRS IN THE PREVIOUSLY GENERATION, THEY ALL HAVE SOME f**ked UP FAMILY TREE. BUT THEN EVERYONE ENDS UP WITH SOMEONE ELSE AND THEY ALL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER. YAAAY." At least mainland dramas have epic battle scenes and the most badass military strategies and political intrigue ever.

I love both, but I think China dramas are slightly better~ especially the ancient dramas.. China's ancient dramas rox ! lol.
