Moon Geun Yeong gained 18.4% support and recorded the 1st place.

In 2nd place is Kim Tae Hee who obtained 18.1%, Kim Ah Joong occupied the 3rd place with 14.9%. Subsequently, Kim Hye Su (13.2%), Lee Young Ae (11.3%), Jun Ji Hyun (9.0%), Son Ye Jin (6.9%) followed after.

According to gender, Kim Tae Hee (20.7%) led the votes by males and Moon Geun Yeong (18.1%) led the votes by females. According to age, the difference among the age belts are shown with those in their 20's mostly in support of Kim Ah Joong (29.0%), those in their 30's mostly in support of Kim Tae Hee (20.3%) and those in their 40's mostly in support of Moon Geun Yeong (26.1%).

yups Tae Hee's movie 'the restless' just released in korea on december 20. and most probably we will get a new Tae Hee drama 'angel' this coming may. i don't think she has signed on the dotted line though cause some reports said she's still deciding but i believe she's the only choice they are looking at to lead the 24 episode drama.

'angel' is the tentative title for now and i think they will stick with this for the next few months or so. the initial title was 'lobbyist' but because of some issues, they had it changed. 'angel' sounds nicer than 'lobbyist' and i'm happy if they stick with this for the final title. but i just don't get how it goes along with the drama cause i don't think the lead character sounds like an 'angel' at all! unless they change up the storyline maybe? but i wanna see Tae Hee as a firearms specialist



technically, my love for Kim Tae Hee wasn't a love at first sight cause i read the 'stairway to heaven' plot and saw her first in the 'sth' pics and i didn't like her already. i saw her again in clips & pics of the 'baeksang arts awards' in 2005 and while everyone was gushing over her, i didn't really care for her, i was more into the guys

not until the day when i finally watched 'stairway to heaven' in mid 2005 and tht first appearance just blew me away, i realised i was hooked onto her and just wanted to see her in the drama and the more i searched abt her on the net & watched whatever i can with her in it, the more i was falling for her. she's definitely for forever

kim tae hee has been so busy for the past year yet she still shines! i'm confident that she'll still shine as an angel for the year 2007!

Well, just to be objective, I think the title "The Lobbyist" is going to be alright. As you have said, syah, "Angel" doesn't quite fit to what the story is all about.

It's alright to me if they change it back to the first title. Whether or not that series is entitled "Angel", it is a forever fact that Tae-hee is an angel to us.. Like your username, syah!

__oh that was upsetting knowing that tae hee really worked hard to make this movie a success! i haven't seen it yer so i can't judge about the screenpplay but i think they lacked promotion or soemthing?

Well, it's very disappointing especially that we can actually see figures. A $2.54-M discrepancy between the net ticket sales and expected ticket sales is really, really, REALLY low. Saying this in this post just makes my heart ten times heavier than it used to be. Is this $1.44-M the net sales in Korea? Korea only?

..But there's still hope! I believe its target market is the international market, like what you said, francesca. If that 1.44-M ticket sales is just in Korea, maybe there will be an increase because of international revenues.

Last thoughts.. I think DVDs will compensate for the discrepancy; well, in some way. The return on their capital will take some time, though; hence, not a sign of good profitablility.

More or less she was known because of that phenomenal series, Neym.. But it doesn't quite give a pleasing response. I know some friends who already have stereotyped her as an actress for antagonist roles. Too bad they can't see the "angelic angel" behind that first role Tae-hee played.. too badthey can't get out of the stereotype box.

P.S. I really like seeing Tae-hee in either black or white clothing!

Kim TAE HEE will be flying off to Spain from the 13th till the 18th for a pictorial photoshoot and a rest. A staff from Kim Tae Hee's management company clarified on the tenth, "Kim TAE HEE will leave for Spain to do a pictorial photoshoot for AMORE Pacific's 'HERA' which she was selected as the model last year. It is an overseas trip which will concurrently serve as a rest for her as she had spent the end of last year and the beginning of the year by doing public relations for movie 'The Restless'."

Henceforth this will be the second time for her in Spain after a LG CYON CF in 2005. However, it has a special meaning this time. After her return to the cosmetics brand she first worked for when she debuted as a model, this is the first overseas photoshoot for her since she received the modelling fees. Her mind and body tired from 'The Restless' publicity work, she will use the photoshoot as an opportunity for her to re-charge herself this time. Since the end of November last year till the beginning of the year, she did interviews and went around doing stage greetings for 'The Restless' before and after the opening of the movie without missing out a day. You are badly mistaken, Neym.. Not all had a changed impression of Tae-hee; and like what I've said in my last post, I know some who do not like her quite much even after they've seen her in Love Story in Harvard. So yeah, I feel sorry for them because they are not interested in Tae-hee and they don't want to exert an effort to know more about Tae-hee -- thus, staying to their bad, old and same impression of her.

Anyhow, the important thing is: all of us in this Kim Tae-hee thread share what we can share and we're all one for her.. right Neym?

__well really? that's bad. hehehe. but for me, since i've become interested with korean dramas, i learned not to hate the actress but the hate the evil character they play on the drama! so i hated kim tae hee's character in STH somuch but not her! instead, i liked her because she carried on her role so much that people tend to look negatively on her. you know what i mean? hehehe.
