Kim Tae-hee Participates in Fashion Show in North Korea



A fashion show featuring over 20 models, including top stars such as Kim Tae-hee and Choi Ja-hye, was held on May 26 at noon inside the Gaeseong Industrial Complex in Gaeseong City, North Hwanghae Province. The show was attended by hundreds of people from South and North Korea.

The models showcased more than 100 items during a 20 minute presentation. North Korean representatives and workers, witnessing a fashion show for the first time, were impressed to see the models wearing clothes that were manufactured in the Gaeseong Complex.

The show was held to mark the completed construction of factories in the Gaeseong Complex, and was attended by over 500 people including Shin Won Chairman Park Sung-chul, Hyundai Group Chairman Hyun Jung-eun, Hyundai Asan Vice Chairman Kim Yun-kyu, Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business Chairman Kim Yong-koo, and North Korean officials from the Central Special Zone Development Bureau overseeing the complex.

Shin Won relocated to the Gaeseong Complex in June of last year, and completed the construction of a plant there last January. The company¡¯s products manufactured in Gaeseong have been sold nationwide since March. Shin Won¡¯s Gaeseong factory has 281 employees with an average monthly salary of about US$57. The company plans to manufacture 20 percent (20,000 items per month) of its total production in Gaeseong.

Kim Tae Hee breaks up with her boyfriend after 5 yrs



The news of Kim Tae Hee¡¦s break up with her boyfriend, who is not in the entertainment industry, has been the point of gossip lately. Yesterday was Kim Tae Hee¡¦s first time admitting that their relationship has gone, the reason being that the reporters were watching them too closely, causing this 5 year long relationship to not be able to handle the pressure, ending in a break up.

After changing to a new company, Kim Tae Hee has left her relationship behind and put all her energy into her career. Through her manager she stated the reason for the break up, saying that ¡§From a long time ago, Kim Tae Hee had to some degree in her heart prepared for this, but having a strong personality, she still tried to attack all the hardships and maintain the relationship. But, too many reporters were calling him (her boyfriend), making him feel too much pressure, and thinking of this point, they both ended up agreeing to breaking up.¡¨
Kim Tae Hee insists that meeting her boyfriend was very great, only that as they walked down the path together as a couple, they realized that they both chose different roads into it. Although they aren¡¦t lovers anymore, they will remain good friends in the future and continue to encourage each other.

Kim Taee Hee and her boyfriend started to go out in 2000. Then, Kim Tae Hee was a sophomore in university, this year in February her boyfriend graduated from ?? University with a dental major. After serving in the military, he will leave Korea and study abroad, and Kim Tae Hee will remain in Korea concentrating on her acting career.

I first saw her as the evil sister at STH. She didnt look pretty there but it is hard to imagine her playing a nice girl. Her pics look so much better than when she was in STH.
