I’m trying my best to do a brief translate on the write up. Please pardon me for my poor translation.

Here comes the brief translation:-

1st para ~ Finish filming of Mid Air:
After 6 months of filming in China (since 27th Oct ’05), the movie has finished filming on 12th Apr ’06. Tae Hee mentioned that she felt that the movie is a heavy burdened for her since this is her 1st movie. She will be doing a CF when she’s back in Korea.

2nd para ~ CF in China

Tae Hee only managed to play the hula for a short while therefore she said: “I never thought of playing hula can be so difficult. I will need to practice more at home so that will not be embarrassed the next time.”

4th para ~ 24 hours learning English with you
A voting on TOEIC website by 1082 web surfers was held on the topic ‘If “somebody” is my English teacher, I will be very eager to learn English’. Tae Hee was being voted as No. 1 (42%) by the guys. Those who voted her mentioned that they will not be bored and definitely can scored well in studying English with such a pretty lady who is from a well reputation university too.

5th para ~ Praise on Lee Wan’s Singing
Tae Hee supported her Brother, Lee Wan who will sing the theme song of ‘Tree of Heaven’ by saying that she is his fan. She mentioned that she was proud of his superb singing after she had listened to the OST and seen the OST photos. Since it was the 1st time for Lee Wan to step into the recording studio, he felt very nervous. Tae Hee specially arranged a cake & drinks session in the recording studio through her family as a support to her brother. Eventually Lee Wan managed to finish his recording successfully with the care from his family and the help of his music teacher, Anna.

현재 LG생건의 화장품 브랜드 '오휘' 모델인 김태희의 계약기간이 오는 9월 만료되는 것과 관련, 경쟁사인 태평양이 적극적인 구애의 손길을 뻗치고 있는 것으로 알려졌기 때문이다.

이미 LG생건과 태평양이 자사 화장품 브랜드 모델을 기용하는 문제를 놓고 일전을 벌인 상태여서 업계는 더욱 뜨거운 관심을 기울이고 있다.

지난 5월 LG생건은 '마몽드', '아이오페' 등 15년간 태평양의 전속모델을 해온 이영애를 자사 브랜드인 '후'의 모델로 전격 영입했다. 당시 태평양 측은 이영애와의 계약이 성사되기 전까지 전혀 눈치를 채지 못하고 있다가 뒤늦게 사실을 알고 큰 충격에 휩싸였다는 후문이다.

LG생건이 아직 3개월이나 남은 김태희의 재계약 건을 두고 벌써 긴장의 끈을 늦추지 않고 이유다. 태평양이 설욕전을 다짐하고 있기 때문이다.

태평양도 이를 굳이 부인하지는 않는 분위기다. 태평양 관계자는 "김태희 씨가 광고 모델로 물색 중인 여러 명의 톱스타 가운데 한 명인 것은 분명하다"며 "하지만 아직 구체적으로 정해진 건 없다"고 말했다.

이런 분위기 때문에 LG생건은 김태희와의 계약이 종료되는 9월보다 재계약 시기를 앞당길 계획인 것으로 알려졌다. 모 재벌 2세와의 결혼설이 퍼졌을 때 차석용 사장이 직접 진상 파악을 지시했을 정도로 김태희는 현재 LG생건의 '집중 관리'를 받고 있다.

이에 대해 LG생건 관계자는 "김태희 씨와의 계약기간이 아직 3개월이나 남았기 때문에 재계약을 논하기는 이르다"며 "일단 가을 제품 광고 촬영에 들어갈 예정"이라고 답했다.

화장품 업계의 한 관계자는 "화장품 모델은 완벽에 가까운 얼굴이어야 하기 때문에 할 수 있는 연예인이 많지 않다"며 "새로운 얼굴을 찾기도 쉽지 않아서 몇몇 소수 톱스타들의 몸값만 높아지고 있는 상황"이라고 지적했다.

You have recently risen to stardom. How do you feel?

Kim: I'm very happy, and I'm enjoying my life as an actress very much. I sometimes miss the time when I was just an ordinary student, though. These days, many people recognize me, so I have to be more prudent about what I do even when I'm with my friends.

You played an evil character perfectly in the drama, The Stairway to Heaven. I wonder if the character is similar to your real-life personality.

Kim: Of course not!(laugh) When I decided to take the role, everybody stopped me because I have a totally different personality from the character. Unlike the character in the drama, I'm a very frank person. People can read my mind just by looking at me.

It must have been very hard for you to play the role of the deceitful Han Yu-ri.

Kim: You can say that again. In order to act realistically, I needed to understand the character's mentality. However, I couldn?'t fully empathize with her because she was such an unrealistic character. Of course, everybody has both a good and an evil side to them. But Han Yu-ri only reveals her evil side, which a normal person wouldn't do.

Your acting was very impressive in the drama. Because of that, people could assume that you are evil like her.

Kim: You have hit the nail on the head. People say that I sometimes behave as bad as Han Yu-ri.(laugh) I felt bad at first, but now I regard it as a compliment because that means I was totally immersed in the role.

Did you find it difficult to appear in two different dramas simultaneously?

Kim: Needless to say, it was very hard. In the morning, I had to be a nice person as my character in The Heungbu's Gourd Has Opened is angelic. Then, in the evening, I had to become a horrible and mean person for The Stairway to Heaven. It was like having a dual life. As I'm still an inexperienced actress, it wasn't easy at all.

Which character was easier to do, the good-natured or the ill-natured one?

Kim: The former, of course. She's a more realistic character and I have many similarities with her. I could fully express her feelings and empathize with the character.

As a novice, acting must be difficult. Have you ever regretted becoming an actress?

Kim: I know that acting is never easy, and that I have lots more things to learn. But I don't have any regrets nor do I want to give up. Instead, I try to overcome the difficulties I encounter. Acting is like a battle with myself, and I want to be the winner.

What kind of character do you want to challenge in the future?

Kim: I want to play a happy-go-lucky woman like the heroine of the movie Amelie. She shares her love and hopes with other people, and that makes them happy. I want to do the same thing.

Let's assume that you are competing with your brother for a prize at an
awards ceremony, would you let him win?

Kim: If that happens to us, that would be an honor to my family. And of course, I would love to give the prize to my brother with pleasure. What a nice sister I am!(laugh)

I heard you have some unusual nicknames.

Kim: They call me a ＂Senseless Lady＂because sometimes I get a little senseless. These days, however, I try to be more sensitive. Another name is ＂head banging.＂I'm a little embarrassed to explain how I got this nickname, but I'll tell you anyway. I often fell into a doze during classes and looked as if I were head banging just like a heavy metal singer.

If you could become anyone you wanted for one day, who would you want to be, and what would you want to do?

I have the same opinion as Firewind's . I began loving KTH since watching her in Love Story in Harvard. She took the role as a Korean student in Harvard. I was really fond of watching her in that film. There are some comments about it's English, actually. But you will enjoy 'because she can speak English very good

I haven't figured out this AF site yet as far as posting pics (because I'm usually at work ), but my fave pic is the one where she's with some kids at a photo shoot (A couple of pages back).

I have been waiting for new news on our angel, so I've been only reading, rather than posting, and admiring FIREWIND'S contributions. Thanks jnursmile, we have similar tastes! She's exceptionally photogenic. She's sweetness, beauty, intelligence PERSONIFIED!!!

Hi ther Dazedxchick! Well, it's all about opinions...but we all seem to love her as Soo-In in LSIH. Most people say that she's dressed very simple here with little or no make-up. Honestly, I prefer her that way. She's just so PRETTY. Plus, her character is very strong yet humble. The show was well written, and the actors all did an excellent job, despite the English. But since my first and only language is English, while theirs is not, I can see pass that. Besides, it was intended for a Korean audience. I mean, how do I know if they are speaking correct Korean with all of these dramas I've been watching? My point being: it all translates well with the actors and the writing. And did I say she is so PRETTY? Ughh! Sometimes, I'm so envious, while most times I'm in awe.

Thanks everyone for your advice =) I will most definitely have to watch Love Story in Harvard. I saw that she is also in a drama called Nine-Tailed Fox (Gumiho), is that one any good?

Personally, I liked LSIH better. It's a "feel good" drama, with light/romantic moments, some of which will make you cry a little bit.

Nine-Tailed Fox was good because it was different. They've got sharp wardrobes, but KTH doesn't smile and she's serious, and the story's a downer. But do try and watch it. KTH is cool with her little fox outfit. I liked the other bad girl (Chae) in this, too.
