I think BOTH of them have very emotional, powerful voices at times. I like BOTH. I can always relate to their songs and cry along with them. Don't really like their acting roles, though cause Hong Kong movies are boring and weird to me.LOL.
I haven't really seen their ads, or know what good deeds they bring around Asia/over the world BUT their singing ROCKS!!!

Kelly is so much better than sammi..

kelly is prettier, better figure, taller, shes more stylish and has better fashion taste than sammi ( b/c i seriously do not like sammi's fashion.. the way she dresses, her hairstyle etc..) in terms of singing .. i like kelly's vocal sound ALOT more, her voice is more sweeter and sounds a lot better than that low cow sound of sammi cheng.

and in terms of reputation of course kelly! she's def a good, kind hearted person she made countless donations to ppl.. she even contributed to forming a small elementary school for poor kids in china.. i never hear any of these news from sammi cheng.. plus sammi doens't have a really nice personality in real life either.. she also smokes in real life.

as for acting ..they both are not good actors ... kelly doen'st film much movies.. so probably she doesn't get enough experience to improve her acting skills.. sammi has made many movies over the past years.. yet i still think she's an average actress.. like personally i think that myolie wu, ada choi are MUCH better actresses than sammi! Sammi's acting skills are always the same.. i don't know if its the roles she plays.. but gosh.. im just so sick seeing her on screen in movies.. b/c its always putting up the same performance ..

Got to say I think Kelly is much nicer than Sammi, it's just that I love Sammi's voice and songs, apart from that her movies are mostly great, too. Not that I think Kelly sings any worse than Sammi, she's great, it's just I'm not quite a fan of her music that is her choice of songs. But to actually judging them in a neutral way, I would say both are great in their way, I mean you can't really compare them , Kelly has the high voice which I prefer in slow love songs, and Sammi has the kinda deeper voice, suits her fast songs. Both their acting skills are quite the same, I don't think any of them is much better than the other one. As for appearance, I think both are beautiful, if you ask my opinion I like Sammi's beauty more, but that got to do with someone's own taste. As I said before I think Kelly is much nicer than Sammi, actually she even looks like a nicer person to approach at.
But as the celebrities they are I prefer Sammi, because I like her music and films more, perhaps it's also because somehow I tend to watch more Sammi movies, perhaps I like her co-stars more.

i'm surprised so many ppl are choosing Kelly over Sammi even though Sammi has generally had higher album sales. anyway, i like...SAMMI better Sammi has a better voice and better technique. Kelly's voice stands out too much, it doesn't blend in the music as much. and Sammi's songs are better. so Sammi all the way!!!

Im not really a big fan of either of them but i like sammi better then kelly acting and singing wise while i think kelly is prettier.

I dont like neither of them but if i had to choose a film between them i would prefer a Sammi Cheng film and if i had to choose a song i would choose one of sammi's. I would choose "Love is" with LMF.

I like both of them, but I love Kelly more I think she is a nice star in real life. I have never heard any bad news about her with her colleagues.

Sammi has had loads of good songs. Kelly, however, really hasn't. And sammi hands down has a better voice.

you can hardly compare sammi and kelly, because both of them are really good singers [in my opinion of course] and they both have different voices and styles of singing. i personally prefer sammi and her songs, but both of them really are good singers

We don't even need to compare. Sammi Cheng wins Kelly Chen hands down. Sammi is an established diva where else Kelly's just an established female singer in HK. In terms of looks, Sammi's so much more prettier than Kelly. Her features are much more natural and sweet. Speaking of sweet, her voice is like the sounds of the heavens. Her singing and her songs can just melt me right away. Album sales? The latest IFPI sales award presentation says it all! A fan I am and Sammi all the way!

i like Sammi over Kelly, i really like Sammi's personality, she just seems really real and she wont really try and act all nice all the time, like she'll joke around and call people names

Without a doubt, Sammi. She is a much more accomplished entertainer. She has the better voice and more control of her singing prowess. Acting wise, I think Sammi is more natural and more charismatic on the screen then Kelly is. Not to take anything away from Kelly but Sammi is a legend, Kelly is a star.

hands down... sammi for sure. She is so multi-talented. She can sing, she can act, she even models, she is extremely charismatic. She is the complete package.
