yeah..cho chang describtion in the book..she's suppose to be slim..when that's teh picture in the head..not round face..no offense..but taht prove how bad the director much be to pick her as cho chang..i mean casting in also an important element when making a movie..especially if it's based on something else that's already known my the community...so disappointed when my friend posted me her pics..a while a go...so so disappointed

THey never said taht Cho Chang was suppsed to b e slim in teh face, shes got a skinny figure at least (I think that it would be ok if she wasnt like extremly skinny, but here, she looks really skinny, like compare her to that olsens pic, they both have the same shape, even tho ashely is shorter) But Cho is supposed to be short with freckles....and she is tall without freckles. She looks alright in some pics.

I actually think that Katie Leung is very attractive; she has nice hair and nice lips. I seriously cannot believe someone said that she's chubby; she's not a bit chubby! I feel outraged that people have hate sites about her before she's even done anything. I imagine that the Katie Leung haters are just silly teenyboppers in love with Daniel Radcliffe. It's rather shallow, and people shouldn't insult her on the Internet, because it's very offensive and narrow-minded. My advice to anyone who hates Katie Leung is as follows: Grow up.

I don't think that shes very attractive, shes average to me, and with excellent lighting and makeup, she looks quite pretty. Most of her pics are so airbrushed, I can hardly see her face. Like that one of her on top with the costume, it looks pretty good, but I can barely see her nose. But I don't find her to be hideous, and the movie is so close, I am not jealous, I hardly even care about the fact that I don't think that shes really pretty anymore.

I love her hair. It looks so pretty, all smooth, straight, and shiny. She looks natural too. I don't think she's ugly, and I can't see why people would say she's ugly. You can say she's average, yeah, but not ugly. The only problem is she looks a little bit too old for Daniel. Man, I want to watch this movie so bad. 11 more days?

im a fan of harry potter. and i also no katie leung, one thing i can say is that katie is damn lucky to be gettin the part. i disagree with people calling her ugly and not good lookin enough, she isnt that great lookin but who is. i know that she is a nasty person, she is rich and lucky and i know plenty of people who deserved that part more than she did and thats what annoys me, im not jealous of her im just upset for the girls i know. girls that worked so hard (acting) for the part, and also worked hard (job-wise) to even work up the money to get down to london for the auditions and never got it! katie is stuck up and always has been! wen she says she wasnt popular at school she was, she was one of the most popular girls at her school and also one of the most b*t*hiest, the kind of girl that looked down on others, how can she be so lucky and deserve it. ive never met an asian girl so b*t*hy in my life! i hope she does well, but i really dont think she deserves the part! girls that tried so hard who are gorgeous on the outside and inside deserve it more than her! girls whose dreams have now been shattered to see someone as evil as her gettin the part over them. good luck katie!

OK, so I am totally neutral. In my other posts, Ide fended her with pictures and stuff. And from different articles I read, tehy preferred a Scottish girl, so that was a big reason why she is Cho, and tahts fine, they wanted diversity.

I feel that Katie Leung has potential in acting and is quite good-looking with a touch of down-to-earth girliness. However, i feel that her screentime in HP gof is pretty limited so maybe it is quite unfair for us to make an accurate judement about her beauty and talent.

I just watched Harry Potter and have to say I was little surprised. What is it with all the nags and jealousy of Katie Leung, her role was like tiny smallie tinily tiny in the movie, SPOILER.........................and Harry didn't even succeeded at asking her to the ball in the movie.. Geez, they didn't have any relationship at all during the movie, besides a few stares and a quick dialogue scene. Makes me wonder why any girls would get jealous of her

I don't know how people can say she's ugly, she looks like a typical mainland chinese girl with adequate features and figure. Although she's nothing special she was picked to play the role for a reason and I'm glad they picked someone who's close to cho chang's age because it's completely retarded when they get 24 year olds to play high school kids.

I was kinda surprised that her dialogue was so limited... only one scene. I mean, you see her all the time along with all the other extras and some scenes where Harry looks at her. I was expecting to be more but then again, there were many more important characters who didn't have that much scenes. I didn't expect her to have that voice and that accent when she spoke. I could barely understand her, but she did ok with the role. The only part I don't like is when she cried at the end for Cedric. It looked weird, but she should have more scenes in the next movie so hope she improves.

I don't know what's the big deal is commenting on her look! I gotta admit, I imagined Cho Chang to be a little bit different than Katie, but she's alright! She is not exotically beautiful, but she is not ugly either!! I think people should stop with this jealousy hype and enjoy the movie!

after i saw the movie my mind changed about her..the movie makes her look a lot better than the earlier pictures of her..although her face is pretty wideset the straight hair and no bangs does soften it a bit..i think they airbrushed her though :T

She looks alright on screen but i don't think she did such an impact in the movie Harry Potter 4. She didn't play such a big role i guess.

I do like Katie. I think she is a good Cho Chang. She's not that pretty though, but she's okay. She got chosen over all those 4000 other hopefuls because she is part Scottish, which puts her above the rest because she has a good English background. Robbie Coltrane, who plays Hagrid, is Scottish too. And to those who said that Katie got chosen because she's not too pretty to overshadow Hermione (Emma) that is just wrong.

If you read the books, Hermione is supposed to be bushy haired and a has two large front teeth. Cho on the other hand is pretty. But well, Emma got the part and it so happens that she is pretty. I do like Emma. I'm a bigger fan of her actually.

I think Katie is so lucky because she gets to kiss Daniel in the fifth movie. But hey, Harry and Cho are bound to break up anyway. By the way, I am a strong Harry-Hermione supporter. Haha.

Like everyone else, I was expecting Cho to be "preternaturally beautiful." Can't say Katie met my expectation, but then who would? I read about her here and there, and she begins to look prettier each time I see her. I'm not a fan, but I respect her for getting the role. She seems deservingly likable. Looking forward to the next HP movie.

No offense to Boa fans, but i think it would be odd if Boa was casted Cho Chang. If she was casted, i don't think i could see it as "Cho Chang & Harry Potter," it would be more like "Boa & Harry Potter." Also, wasn't it a requirement that Cho had to have a British accent?

Katie Leung isn't the prettiest girl, but she's not ugly either. I think she actually fits the part in the movie (even though she only has like 2 scenes). I'm looking forward to what she will bring to the next Harry Potter movie.

Eh, I think Katie's all right. The next movie is about to come out. I think we'll see more of her in that, which is a good thing for some and not so for others. I didn't think she was that attractive when they first revealed her as Cho, but I think shes gotten prettier. Maybe because she is wearing less makeup and her hair is nicer now. She looks so natural and innocent.

Hong Kong singer Leo Ku recently revealed that the music video for his new song "Ai Hui Jia", or "love going home", will feature Harry Potter co-star Katie Leung.

Leo Ku broke the news last week when he had finished shooting of the video in the United Kingdom, and was patching several scenes back in Hong Kong.
