i just wanted to say that i've become a big big fan of hers after watching her in Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi 2. i love her acting. also i think she has a really gorgeous and cute look. i use to think she was weird looking because of her lips and nose but now i think she's gorgeous. also she sees to have a really nice personality. well i get that from her after watching her on Domoto Tsuyoshi no Shojiki Shindoi 11/22/06 (even tho i don't know what the heck they are saying).

i guess i'll be talking to myself for a while.

satomi's new spring drama is called Hanayome to Papa. junno (from kat-tun) is co-starring with her. ryo nishikido (NEWS and Kanjani8) was going to paly junno's role but decided not to since he would be doing NEWS and Kanjani8 concerts at the time of filming. i so wanted ryo and satomi to do the drama together because i like both of them.

"Hanayome to Papa" is both a romance and a home comedy, centering on a woman and her overprotective father as she tries to live her own life. Satomi Ishihara plays the role of Aiko, a new employee at an apparel company. At home, she is frustrated with her father, who has strictly raised her ever since her mother died when Aiko was one year old. But at work, a romance begins to develop with her co-worker (Junnosuke Taguchi of KAT-TUN).

so i just watched the 1st episode of Hanayome to Papa without subs. i didn't understand a word but it was still enjoyable. satomi's character is a bit wacky sometimes...well more like sometimes she does wacky things. her character is very...wacky-anxious near nervous at times which i think is probably because of all the love and protection her dad gives her. it doesn't seem like anyone will be picking up this drama to sub but i'll still dl it and watch it.

i still wish ryo was the one playing Seiji but i'm ok now. i'll have to deal with it.

I agree with you on the acting! Her Tsubasa role really impressed me too. I didn't think she could act so well, but she can! I have her Water Boys 2 series downloaded. Just need to go and watch it... XD

yea i heard she was in waterboys 2 but i haven't watched waterboys 1 or 2. i've only seen the movie and i really liked the movie.

i really didn't think she was that great of actor too when i saw a really old dramas of hers (where she was a chearleader or something) but after Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi 2, i changed my mind about her acting and thought she is a good actress. i'm happy that she most of the dramas she does, she is the main actresses because that means the directors recognize her talent. altho i also want to see her paired with ryo or yamapi or someone like that.

she is my favorite japanese actress .... she is so cute .... i started liking her in water boys 2 ... she is so young there ... but now so matured in hanayome to papa!!! ... but still i like her!!!

One question: Did she - in a way or another - have her lips "fixed?"

I must admit, she really has this x factor.

I just got across N's Aoi on youtube. I watched 2 parts of the first episode and so I was impressed. She's really good, really good!

Shes is so cute & a great actress!

I watched her in H2, Hanayome to Papa, Nurse aoi, Kimi Wa Petto & Yoshitsune...wanna watch her other dramas more...

for me...her best pair is TAKIZAWA HIDEAKI! I love their chemistry in Yoshitsune! I hope they team-up again!

i particularly liked Nurse Aoi and Hanayome to papa.
I'm watching her latest drama, Puzzle, now.
Love her new character who is a 2 faced teacher.

she's a bit small but she carries her style

i love her eyes, btw..

and her small part at Kimi Wa Petto was like. .she stood out.. and i totally remembered her from then when i watched hanayome! haha

shihara Satomi, dubbed by the nation as "Satomi-chan" because of her innocent and cute disposition, is a talented and rising star. totally love her! i'm quite new fan of hers, i've seen only Kimi wa Petto and just finished Voice from her but i think that she is really good actress ^^
and she's so bretty too! totally gonna watch more of her drama!
