the main theme song sung by susanna is addictive..its as if fits the synopsis of the storyline..starting from happiness and then sadness.

The theme song will be sung by Susanna Kwan. I'm not too crazy about the theme song but it's nice to hear her singing again.. she recorded quite a few TVB theme songs back in the day..

As for the ending theme, it is a duet between Raymond Lam & Linda Chung. I'd like it a lot more if Linda was cut out or replaced.. Raymond has a strong voice and it totally overpowers Linda's.. This is similar to the TBOL theme song where Steven's voice overpowered Ron's. I wonder why Raymond (a GUEST star in this series) is singing the sub-theme instead of Moses or Bosco.. Perhaps because he was recently signed by EEG??

At first I was kinda disappointed that it sung by Susanna.. I was like, WHAT ?!?! I don't really like the song itself but it really does suit the mood of the series and I think if Bosco and Moses recorded the song (like it was reported), it wouldn't be as good as Susanna's song.

aw it sucks cause i was looking forward to having those two lead male casts singing the theme song.

Susanna's voice is beautiful. I think give her the themesong is a good idea. It's grand series .

The song is good. It gives me the feeling of sorrow.

I doubt that Moses and Bosco can sing as good as Susanna.

The right choice for Suzanna to sing it instead of Moses and Bosco because she is a well known singer, I do like the theme.

Really like the subtheme, but can hardly hear Linda in the duet parts.
I don't think the English part fits with the song though.

The subtheme is great, well considering singing skills - Raymond would be a better choice than Moses or Bosco. Linda's part in the song was very limited but there is slight improvement in her voice. It seemed like Linda's part was more of a back up chorus thingy more. It is a catchy song.

The piano solo at the beginning of the theme song sounded so grand .......it seemed to tell sth great was going to happen! Susanna sang well as usual...every note was flowing so smoothly! Did you realize that the song ended with piano solo as well which was just perfect!

The duet by Ray & Linda was nice! I Don't think Ray's voice overpowered Linda's too much since they served as 2 different vocals in the song & their voices branded in really well.........!

susanna sang the themesong really well, her voice matches the mood of the series, solemn and sad. i am glad that tvb gave her the chance to sing. i love the subsong, esp ray's part. linda sounds alright, she showed a bit of improvement. i think ray's voice overpower her's in the chorus part though. the song's quite catchy. it would be great if moses and boscos also sing a duet.

after watching the theme video for this series, it makes me want to watch it ... the story line seems pretty interesting...

it is the right choice to actually CHOOSE a singer for the theme! the theme may not be one of those "pop" ones but it fits perfectly with the series and the dramatic tone. Bosco, Ray, Moses CANNOT COMPARE TO Susanna in singing!

Yeah, I agree that it's a wise decision to let an experienced singer sing a themesong instead of allowing Moses and Bosco sing, cause I don't think they'll be able to deliver it as well as Susanna. It's not a pop song, but if you listen carefully you'll like it, it says a lot about the series.

I am a fan of having real singers sing the theme song...especially for a big production like this series. I think some of the most memorable theme songs are actually sung by professional singers rather than the actors....especially the old series...The Francis Yip era of theme songs...fantastic and cannot be replaced.

The songs were great. Thanks alot. I guess this is a big production with many potential actors and actresses who can sing. But i think TVB has surely put the best effort to choose the best choices of singer to sing the theme and subtheme. However, i would be glad if the whole production can have a song, sung by all of them...

Thank you so much for the links! Yes, I was surprised myself that Raymond was singing the ending theme with Linda Chung when he was merely a guest star. I do agree, saying that it's Raymond's recent contract with EEG which gives him this chance.

Actually Linda was more like the supporting vocal, so that's why her voice wasn't as heard.

I really like the theme song, it totally matches with the feeling of the drama. I don't see why they would like the other actors sing when they have a professional singer in the drama, Susanna used to sing some of the main themes back then.

I'm really curious to know, as I really want the song, but does anyone know what the name of the song that Bosco has as his ringtone is called? You can hear it in episode 8 when Tavia calls him - one of the times it plays is at about (13:35) according the RealPlayer, out of the 45 minutes.

When I first heard the song I thought it was sung by Sammi Cheng but to my surprise it was Susanna Kwan. She really does have s trong singing voice! I reckon the themesong song is very bitter and sorrow and yes, it suits the series very well, considering it is about fighting and mishaps in a wealthy family. i think susana sings pretty well the themesong, she has a pretty strong voice and her singing skills are pretty good. she sounds better than those new singers out there.

the song is nice in all but it still need to grow on me. It starts low but pick up the signer voice is very soothing
