Aaron Kwok is Yeung, a young and dedicated inspector in Hong Kong government's Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC). Has anyone seen this series? i want to know more about this series besides just the basic plot..

I remember seeing this series awhile back, and like all mid 90s tvb series, it was good. Sure beats alot of the new ones nowadays.

Aaron and Athena were a cute couple...tho I remember they had a love-triangle story that was kinda boring, lol.

but either than that, the plot and acting was surperb, and all characters acted well. Think it was the first series seeing marco ngai as bad guy and he did really good.

definately worth the buy especially if ur an aaron fan. He looked way hotter in here than his geeky doctor look in heartstrings. LOL.

this is really a good series. the love btw Aaron and Athena is very cute. However, Esther's character is a blind person and works for a flower shop. She 's a gentle woman. Ben Ng's character is a police. While he is arresting Esther's younger brother, this person dies. Thus, he has a guilty feeling, expecially knowing this criminal's sister is blind. He is always besides her when she needs helps. I don't remember the ending of this couple. About Aaron and Athena 's characters, they have a happy ending.
If rating this series, I think it's 9/10. Aaron in this film is very handsome and Athena is very nice too.
I think you should watch this series. It's an old one, and thus not like many boring ones these days.

I just watched this series and it is sooo good!!!! Aaron is sooo good looking! And so is Athena, and they make a good couple.

I watched this couple months back. Love Aaron and Athena together, but was a bit disappointed in Athena's character. It didn't have much depth in it. (Although she was really cool at the beginning. Maybe she's just too stubborn at times.) But just an average series.

i loved this series, some of the cases were pretty interesting and the cast was excellent. this is Esther kwan's first series after joining TVB i think. Loved Aaron & Athena!

This was Aaron's last TVB series before hitting the big screens and I loved it! Being an Aaron fan I've been trying to get his old series " heartstrings" but can't find it anywhere so when TVB released Wars of Bribery on DVD I had to buy it!. Heres what the summary says on the back cover:

Yeung Tai Chi (Aaron Kwok), a new investigator of the ICAC, is met with frequent failures, but he remains optimistic. Chiu Wing Yi (Athena Chu), also a member of ICAC, is so agressive that she always challenges Chi. Police officer Yau Lok Sang (Ng Ngai Cheung) gets to know Leung Siu Man (Esther Kwan), who is blind, by change. He is attracted by her optimistic personality and the two become lovers. Though Chi and Yi quarrel often, they manage to discover various briberies and they eventually fall in love. In the course of investigation, Chi is forced to make decisions between love, friendship, family and justice. How will he face the dilema?

This is a must buy if you are an Aaron fan!
