Thanks for the filming clips! I have seen the short version of these clips only and it is so nice to see the full version. I really like the one at Sau Fung mom's graveyard where Pong is kneeing in front of Charm comforting her. You can see that Ray is cleaning Charm's face for her before filming. That is soooooooo sweet! And I really like how Ray hold Charm's hand and kisses her hand. Most of these little body gestures, subtle touches here and there are not taught or requested by the directors and it is up to the actor/actress to improvise to express the feelings of the characters. And it takes good partners like Ray and Charm to make the scenes convincing and lead the audience to see and feel the characters' story. That's why there's a big difference between Charray and many other partners they have acted with. And that's why we love Charray so much. Their chemistry is just amazing. I have visited a big forum in HK, uwants.com and I find that there are many supporters of FungPong. I am really happy about this. Stupid TVB wouldn't promote this couple more to improve DOL's ratings. BTW, there will be a DOL promotion on 9/22. I guess TVB is trying to push the last 2 week's ratings. But the last 2 weeks has no fungpong mah, no hope lah......jsut couldn't understand why they won't do more promotion throughout the series.

Sau Fung just cannot forgive what our family has done; she wants me to go to Canada with her to start fresh.
The <Freedom Ship>'s model is finally completed. The Wah Family's automobile dream is finally taking flight.
These two things are happening simultaneously.
In life, there are a lot of times where we have to make decisions. But just as long as i can be with Sau Fung again, anything related to Sau Fung, i will not hesitate.

wow... such long post!! i would compete but i'm quite lazy... anywho.. like everyone else i agree that ep44 is probably one of the best Charray eps in DOL... the acting by Charmaine and Raymond are just great.. no words to explain.. the look in their eyes and their tears are just sooo great.. u can truly see that Charmaine and Raymond acted those bits from their heart otherwise the outcome wouldnt of been that great.. also the timing from when the tears fell from Charmaine's eyes in the alleyway were just sooo good.. ive watched that bit along with his proposal several times and each time i get chills... next ep to look forward to is 48 when they get married.. i must say although that wasnt a huge wedding but it was a memorable one..

im also hoping that Charray would be able to win best actor and actress award this year.. Charmaine and Raymond portrayed their roles just great!! but although that is what im wishing for i think the chances will be slim.. since Charmaine got it last year and Raymond has a huge competition.. i think Moses has more of a chance of winning (which i dont mind cos i love Moses too..) but im hoping for the best!! if they dont win the TVB one i would hope they could win the Astro Awards like they did a few years back!!! so Charmaine will win best actress, Raymond wins best actor.. they Charray wins fav couple.. then that will be perfect!!

and thanks to the clips ppl posted up.. i love Charrays interaction when filming.. my fav one is when i think they were at the cemetery and Charmaine was leaning on Raymond.. like fully leaning on him to the point he had to hold her up.. sooo cute... i also like the ones where they were filming the bit in ep19 on their $40 date and they were buying food and eating.. it seriously just looked like a couple on a normal date.. didnt even look like they were filming.. sweet again!!!

myhelen- im in the process of gathering ideas and a storyline.. well i got that bit sorted out.. and of course its a Charray fanfic again.. but cos lately uni has been hell.. too many assessments due and all at the same time.. i havent had time to write.. just brainstormed a few ideas.. dont know when i will start again.. but defiantly inform everyone when i do write... basically it has to do with time.. Charmaine is from the future of the year 2036 while Raymond is from the present time of 2007.. Charmaine is the daughter of Moses and Bernice.. and also the great great great grandchild of Jessica who is from the Qing dynasty.. Moses and Raymond are rich heirs and best friends.. so Charmaine and Jessica both by default time travel to the present time.. it may sound confusing now but i will explain it when i start writing it.. and Charray will have a bickering relationship.. mainly cos she doesnt like him thinking he is a bad influence on her father (Moses)... anywho.. enough of my babbling.. i'll let u guys know when i start posting it up..

Ida, that's an interesting storyline - but does that mean Charray will not be together in the end? She is from the future, so if she stay behind, she will change history, right? I heard from Raymondforest that the ratings of last week has dropped!!! NO WAY! Last week was the Charray love triangle and Charm's revenge....how could it possibly be dropped? It is just so weird....it seems like everywhere I hear people saying they are touched by Fung Pong...and that they support Fung and Pong.....but how could the ratings dropped? Where did the HK people go? Were that huge events in HK last week???????????

I know that we all love Charray no matter what. BUt I am just worried that TVB will be unhappy and not pair them up again......the us Charray lovers will be heart broken. I suppose what we can do to show our support is when there are awards - such as TVB anniversary and Astro Awards etc. We have to show our force by voing for Charray loh!!!

Now with DOL coming to an end (well, since there's not much Charray in the last 7 episodes or so, we only have about 7 episodes left), I am already beginning to miss Charray! Plus the stupid ratings in HK have made the hope of Charray pairing up again dropped significantly, I just have to yell that I will miss Charray and I love Charray! They are perfect. Just perfect - their chemistry is amazing, their acting is wonderful and I so agree with one of you who said that DOL has brought the chemistry and partnership of Charray to another level. They are so immersed in the series and its all just so natural. Just can't find another pair of artistes who can convey such a feeling.....

Anyways, enough of my blabbing. Just hope that Charray will continue to be a bit hit in China, so that we may have a chance of seeing Charray in China productions. Or maybe TVB will consider the China market again and pair them up. Again, it is also up to us to show TVB how much we love and support this pair.

OMG REALLY?! I can't believe the ratings DROPPED when (IMO) it was the most INTENSE, INTERESTING, HEARTBREAKING, TEAR-BURSTING, CLIMAX part of the entire series!! I know for a fact that many only even watch DOL because of Charray or have become fans after DOL. I guess it has to do with the difference between HK audience and oversea audiences. (probably the age difference thing again guess HK audience aren't as open-minded/accepting as oversea fans...such a shame though ) I'm so sad to hear that...gosh...that just totally blew away my hope of seeing Charray paired up again onscreen... But no matter how HK audience may not accept/like them, Mainland and oversea fans do and their chemistry, whether you love/hate them is undeniably amazing!! Will continue supporting Charray 4ever!!

I really can't wait; the day when Pong and Fung, after all they've been through, will finally become husband and wife, lawfully and spiritually binded to love and care for each other for eternity. I was watching some earlier clips from DOL and i was just like "WOW." Both Zhen Pong and Sau Fung's characters changed SO much; from a rich playboy and materialistic woman to a caring, considerate young man and woman who finally believes in love and that money isn't everything. Definitely have to give the scriptwriters some credit; the development of Pong and Fung's characters is just absolutely beautiful and SO REAL that it has touched audience's hearts.

Couldn't agree with pooh more. Before when i watch dramas, i would always be rooting for a certain pair/couple or really like a certain pair's relationship in the series. But this time around when i watched DOL, it was different. Yes, the script was well written, very touching and exciting, but that wasn't what ultimately really "moved" me. What really moved me was Charm and Ray's acting and chemistry; they made me BELIEVE in Pong and Fung. Their acting had brought the characters alive and touched our hearts with their story. It's a rare and obviously difficult thing to do, to be able to honestly touch hearts. But they did it.

Bittersweet, thanks for the translation. I really love the blog entries. They are always so full of emotion. Full of Pong's sincere and deep love for Fung. Some comments are really nice too. Wish I had more time to write those comments. But I am so swamped with work lately.

I have watched up to epi 48 as well. There are so many touching scenes, not only Charray ones but also about Ngai tin han etc. I just love Sau Fung and Zhen Pong. Their relationship is really memorable. Charray's performance is just too good for words to describe. I feel very bad already for we will not be seeing them after DOL for a while and DOL is about to end soon!!!!!!!! I think our next chance will be the DOL 9/22 promotion then the awards/anniversary loh. I just don't know how am I going to live through the next few months. I am so addicted and absorbed into Fung and Pong......

Just watched ep.48 and it was VERY sweet indeed. I love how when Ray slipped the ring on Charm's fingers he looked a little teary-eyed like he couldn't believe this was actually happening (like in a good way!) BOTH Charm and Ray's eyes were sparkling like crazy (i swear i wasn't drunk so i'm not imagining things!! JK!) and honestly: their eyes just say it all. You could see the happiness, fulfillment and tenderness in both their eyes because...THEY COMPLETE EACH OTHER. *sigh* It was the best wedding scene i'd ever seen on screen. Even though it wasn't big and glistening or full of people, it was sweet. Very sweet indeed. The happiness just GLOWED on everyone in that room (haha i found it weird that Michael Miu was the only one who stood up clapping ROFL.) for the newlyweds. Very memorable and romantic in its own melancholic way. And i just LOVEEEE Ray's eye emotions when he said "Sorry" to Charm during their wedding dinner. It was so tender and so full of love that it'll melt just any heart. And when Pong defended Sau Fung, even raising his voice at his sister (whom he has a very good sibling relationship with and respects very much) it really showed how much he loves and trusts Sau Fung. Both Zhen Pong and Sau Fung love each other so much that they're both willing to bear the world's criticism on their shoulders, everyone's pointing fingers, mountains of accusations. Now THAT'S what i call love. <3

BTW, DOL is coming to Toronto!! (apparently it's going to air soon here because i just saw a commercial for it on Fairchild! haha another excuse for me to re-watch Charray in DOL!)

Well this time i think u beat my last post, your post was LONG, I'm impressed. ^^ Of course we have riendly competition, this is just all about the love for charray so there can't be any losers just best lover and this is a great opportunity for me to learn and wide my english, I really need to get better in my english (think that I'm quite bad in it) well back to this lovely couple. Well TDOL have drive me crazy =P I just love them more and more after watching each eps. I can't agree with u better about how good they have portrayed this characters out, I love their eyes emotions, this is one of the best decision TVB have made to pair them up in DOL, I can't think of any other actress/actor that could have portrayed this character better then charray, even if ppl say that jess is great actress I don't think she would have bring out this kind of chemistry with any actor. So if TVB don't give charray the best actress/actor award i will be so disapointed (not that they haven't before) but I really hope they will win this year. or at least TVB brings backt he best couple award so charray can take it home!!!
Well roger did take the best actor award twice but not in a row. Roger take the best actor award in 36th TVB anniversary then Bowie lam take the bests actor award in the 37th TVB anniverary and in 38th anniversary roger take the best actor award again so it wasn't in a row. but we can hope that TVB do this to charm I mean if they can give her two awards last year they can give her the best actress award in a row, b/c she realy deserv it also charm have been nominated in the International Emmy award that must have give a hint to TVB that charm really is a Best actress quality so ppl/ audience wont get mad if she take the best actress award in a row. And i really think that Sau fungs character is hard to portray she have so many inner emotions and feelings that she fights with. Well i have agree with u many times as well i think u are right, great minds think alike Ok now when I have write my thoughts about charm I will go to ray, his performance in DOL was AMAZING, his best performance ever! i just love his crying skills here it was really great done by him. He sure will be the biggest compeetition for the other 4 actors, he didn't make it last year for his role in LFD but I'm sure he can do it this year. But IF TVB decide to give the best actor/actress award to somebody else we can be sure that Astro award will be fair, I really think charray will expose the Astro award, best actress, best actor, best on-screne couple, best theme song, the grandest production, fave character, well of course there will be some awards left to the others like fave character award (think they give out 10 awards with this titel)

I must say that I really love eps 48 even if the wedding was kind of short and somewhat sad I really like the eye expression of them both it was soo real! they really showed how much they cared for eachother. I just love the part where Damien came in and both charray was soo happy to se him. I just love charms expression, she want to help Wahs family but no one trust her apart from ray and the second ungle ( man hong) and I must add that I really hate Gigis character here! OMG! she is going on my nervs, she is so mean to charm, i just hate what she said to ray in eps 47 y are u bringing her here *grr* I thought she understands that charm wanted to make their relationship better when she in eps 46 had bought the breakfast for them.. Yeah eps 44 was great and charrays actings was soo good, no words in the world can explain how great they was. I love the hugging scene where ray keep said sorry I just love both of them there charms crying was super awesome and how ray keep said sorry to charm was incredible so emotional and u really could hear that he was deeply sorry.
Yeah the wedding scene is memorable I love it! i love the expression charm had during the wedding. after they kissed and charm had her face leand on rays that part was soo sweet u can compare that screen with the one she had in eps 30, when charray huged in the resturant after telling everyone that they will get married. Just super sweet!!
Well i don't think that moses will get the best actor this year. he fit the best actor by his age but I don't think his performance for HOG was so outstading like rays character in DOL. *crossing fingers for a charray year on the TVB anniversary*

well the rating did droped but I don't think it was b/c of charray. there wasn't that much charray scene in last weeks eps. myolie had many scenes too =P I'm sure the rating will get better this week, if u look at the rating report the ratings wasn't good for any serie so i think it's just normal that DOL didn't get that good ratings.
Well be more positive we know that DOL did well in mainland china and the audience in china really like this couple so there are big chance that TVB will pair them up again. or maybe the china television CCTV or other channels will have a serie for them that will be great too b/c the china productions is better paied

After the wedding, I am now looking forward to the 2 or 3 times when Pong would address Fung as "Lo pau" (wife). That sounds sooo good that it gives me goose bumps. I am missing Fung Pong already as there will be less and less Charray after 2-3 more episodes......

First Kiss: On Tram; passionate and very intense, signify the official "start" of their relationship, playful as well when Charm planted multiple kisses on Ray

Second Kiss: In Park (@ Beijing aka the "$40 date"), VERY sweet & warm (cheesy as well, lol with Pong and his pickup lines)

Third Kiss: Walking along the ledge (after Ray won the competition A Fontaine had set up), where Ray first "proposed", VERY VERY VERY sweet, their happiness just radiated off the screen, both had HUGE smiles on their faces when they were smooching!

Fourth Kiss: On street in Beijing (after Myolie fell on Ray and Charm saw the two of them together), Ray's second proposal, playful when Ray threatened to keep on kissing Charm till she said "yes", and finally...CHARM SAID YES and CHARRAY WAS ENGAGED!!

Fifth Kiss: (real/successful) Wedding, kiss was soft and gentle and full of tenderness, their love for each other was so strong and evident through their eye emotions, and...our lovely Charray finally became HUSBAND AND WIFE!! YAY!!! (but also last kiss...)

Wow, so Charray shared FIVE WHOLE KISSES in DOL...man, just imagine how many NGs/takes they take of each scene...that's a whole lotta smooching! Heehee! aZnangel, No worries, there are a few scenes where Pong and Fung are in the house as husband and wife and Pong even called Fung "Lo Paw" (wife).
Charray is the greatest and although... (just checking to see if Range is around....actually it is quite safe to say it now that Range doesn't come here that often ) Charm and Benny looks sweet together in the first couple episodes in the Qian Lung Emporer series as the king and queen, no pairing will beat our Charray. The Charmnny pairing lacks the electrifying and emotional eyes and the body gestures Charray is famous for and you just don't see the emotion that flows so naturally between Charray that tells you how compatible they are.

I'm glad TVB version did not cut many CharRay scenes as CCTV did. Although it's not much but alot better than CCTV version. I'm looking forward to hear Ray's voice saying "wife" to Charm as well! Too bad we don't hear Charm say "husband" to Ray. (that's from CCTV version that is. Hopefully we can hear Charm saying "husband" to Ray from TVB version.) hihihi

I love seeing them together after the wedding. You can truly see their love and support for each other. In the beginning, Ray sacrifice alot for Charm; in the end, Charm will do anything and everything for her husband "Ray." That's what I call love between two people.

YummyFan535: I did notice their position being swapped when I watched CCTV version. Apparently the director didnt like their first position, angle or something so they had to retake. And retaking means CharRay get to kiss again. Our CharRay fan will die hard knowing they get to kiss several times! Yesterday was the blessing ceremony of Forensic Heroes II. Charm was there as she is the main actress of this series. However, Raymond was at TVB too according to Yoyo. She saw him brought a huge fruit basket to TVB as a Mid Autumn Festival treat to the colleagues. Now, that's a co-incidence or what??? Charray do have a lot of "yuen fan" (destiny to see each other). Comes to think of it, Charm also went to Japan this summer, while Ray was also at Japan for a concert with Ron and Kevin. We don't know if Charray were there at the same time, but who knows?????? Fate seems to always pull them together.......

I am really looking forward to the DOL promotion taking place NOW. Can't wait to see the pictures!!!! Hope there will be lots of Charray!!!!!!

just finished watching up to eps51.. and Charray wont be coming out for the next few eps i think... i seriously love it when Raymond calls Charmaine 'Low Pau'... sooo sweet.. there just so great together.. but i realised that they cut another scene of Charray out.. well not directly just them.. Sheren was in the scene too... it was the apartment scene where Charmaine and Sheren wanted to get a private investigator to find Joe's parents... i remember from the CCTV version that Raymond once again called Charmaine 'Low Pau' in that scene too...

I notice in the group picture where they were making something (cake?) Charray are always toward each other lolss. Look like Charray are having so much fun together. Myolie look like an odd one out on the side. Who is that guys in the white next to Raymond anyway? That's not Feng Shao Feng is he? Doesn't look like him.

And in the picture of the three, the positioning of Charray is closer together than Raymond is with Myolie. There is a wide space between them while our lovely Charray in right next to each other touching heehee Myolie with her white doesn't belong in the picture. It should just be Charray lols

Ray: uh Myolie, would you kindly step out of the picture please. I want to take pictures with my Charmie only, so SCOOT!
