Are you guys aware of all the Charmaine bashing going on in shoutboxes nowaday? Asia even made a post about it in her blog (TVB Generation) and I check and there are these annoying few haters going around blaming Charm for DOL's ratings and keep criticizing her and have no reason to back it up. They are just BSing and that make me so mad. Why are people being so mean? Why do they have to curse and bash a perfectly talented actress who they don't even know and I doubt even met before. Even if they hate that person, it's not nice to go around posting bad comments about her everywhere. Don't they have their own life to worry about? I hope they would stop.
I know that Charm is still so popular in mainland and Malaysia and overseas and stuff but is she still favor in HK? I'm scare that all these negativity will get to TVB and they will not pair up Charray again. I will be so sad if I don't see these perfect pair again.

Well there are haters everywhere so I didn't pay so much attention on it. I know there have been many bad post of charm lately I think it's just b/c of charm have been nominated in the International Emmy awards so the haters just can't accept the facs that charm is a good actress that's y. but if u have really payed attention to this u should know that there are alot of supporters out there who arguing with the haters and write kind and supportive post, Don't worry I'm sure that charm is still very popular in HK haven't u hear the news when charm was filming for FH II that ppl from the street ask her for signature and take photo with her, when charm was in her car and watching DVD so this just prove that charm still is popular in HK, Well I don't think TVB knows about this or even if they did they wouldn't pay any attention in it. Like they put Charm's nose is big, but that's not true. I find her nose so cute and perfect size. And like they feel sorry for Ray to act with Charm, but that's totally not true either. Whenever Ray is with Charm, you can see how happy he is. Like in the interviews and promotions, they are always next to each other having the time of their life.

Like what you put Jupi, during the new promotion interview, Charray were laughing and having their own joke while Myolie is just awkwardly standing there. Why can't these haters just face the fact and leave Charray and Charm alone? I know that I should care about them or their comments but it still bother me. Really? There are such haters who would go to different blogs/forums to post anti Charmaine comments? What is "blog at TVB generation?". Linking Charm with Britney Spears is something I totally disagree with though because Mz. But I agree with her that haters should stop bashing Charm just because they are jealous and want to bring their own idol up.

Well as I have said before many of the haters just like to write mean comments and stuff but they don't have and proves or something that can stregthen their op, they just wrote what they think. I don't know if u have had time to be on the charray ratin poision thread yet but if u haven't I would tell u to not go b/c u seems to be very upset when u read mean commetns about charray, I myself have been there for many times and made up a discussion about how rediculous they are and in the past I did made some of the haters to change their attitude towards this couple and soften the words that they used so I think that was a good thing, but there are still haters that bashing and write mean things we can't do anything so just accept the facts that there are haters and they won't change their attidute. I myself don't understand y the haters like to write this mean post all over the chatbox and stuff I don't get the point at all? I mean don't they have any better things to do then bashing and make a big deal of it.

I was on a friends homeparty last night and I taught them chinese and now I'm teaching u swedish =P anyway back to the topic I like that MV too even if it was a sad one it was well done. I just love the pong-fung relationship. I have just had a "fight" argument with my older sister, she couldn't understand Fungs actions and she think Fung is somewhat confusing but I can tell u that my sis haven't watch all the eps of TDOL she have just seen some eps here and there so that's y she couldn't understand that so I told her to watch all eps before she judge Fungs actions

You both have a high chance of seeing Charm! Well, I wanted to go to Canada but haven’t decided the particular city yet. Perhaps you can give me some advice?

Jupi: aren’t you quite proud of me of having more posts! LOL Of course your posts are unbeatable! Like many have said, you are indeed our Queen of Post! I’ll be the next to nominate you. Well I can’t agree with you more about Mandy being too mature for Daniel. YY is a youthful series; their chemistry can not be developing as LWOLAP and DOL.

Regarding the critics, they are just using reverse psychology to bash Charmaine’s imagine due to her popularity. Of course when a person’s popularity arises, the negativities will be equally the same. Well, we know that even heroes have enemies.
Charm has gained many fans/supporters after DOL. Hence she was nominated in the Emmy Awards, many are just jealous and can’t do anything but make negative comments. Her chemistry with Ray totally out shine in DOL. We all know that and I’m sure many viewers know that as well.

If I recall correctly, at one point MyHelen ask us to voice our words to TVB, telling them how much we support CharRay. I actually wrote several emails to TVB, couple months back. In fact, TVB did email me back stating how thankful they are and will pass the suggestion to the relevant department for information and further reference. Therefore I’m sure TVB knows there are many fans/supporters even oversea supporting Charmaine.

BTW, does anyone have episode 55 and onward? I really want to see CharRay. Totally miss them in the past 3 episodes. Thank you in advance!

Jupi, I am 100% certain that Charm said: "你獎勵吓我哋啦!" . The host asked Ray is he going to 獎勵 himself for earning so much money, then Charm immediately said that he should treat them instead. That's why Ray answered by saying "Erh, wait till I earn more than you two." His answer wouldn't make sense if Charm said that Myolie and her are his gift.

Sorry for not posting once again. Life getting in the way. Finals are really stressing me out. I'm already on the verge of tears. I'm not doing well...

I'm on an emotional roller coaster ride as well. And I got inspired to write this. It's a random story of Charray that I thought up. Sorry but currently, I have no inspiration to continue P&A. I lost my storyline and feel for it in the middle and I think it's kinda a flump. Maybe I'll wrap it up in a few chapters and begin a new one. I quite like my new setting and characters =).

Dawnlight, I totally agree with you. I don't understand HK's audience as to what they're thinking. Some series I find really ridiculous and make on sense whatsoever about the storyline, yet the rating is higher than DOL! ERRR
Well, at least we know that the rating dropped was not because of CharRay. Evidently the rating has been consistent at 29pts. Week 11, CharRay only appeared in ep. 51 for short amount of time and didn't return until ep. 56. I concur the low rating has nothing to do with CharRay. However, I do hope the rating would be better for this week finale. CharRay all the way!

just finished watch all 60eps of DOL... finally it has come to an end.. which means no more Charray... i must say overall i'm very impressed with Charmaine and Raymond in DOL... their acting has gone up a level.. their chemistry has also gone up another level.. i seriously dont know who else could pull off Fung and Pong... i'm also very very happy that after DOL alot of ppl r supporting Charray cos they are just awesome.. having such chemistry... i really do hope they will film together in the future again..

Do you think ratings are low because this series is more about business & most ppl watching are housewives & probably are not interested in things like this?

I didn't really watch HoG but that storyline is basically about the jealousy between 2 wives & I think the HK housewives are more interested in that topic. Just my thoughts.

I do hope TVB does more Charray series. I'm quite picky with my series. I only watch them if I like the couple acting in it.

Hello guys well I will not post too much this time either sorry for that, well i have a bad news for u guys I don't know if I should say it or not but charm didn't get nominated for her character as Sau fung in the TVB anniversary =( but ray get nominated for Zhan Pong anyway I think it's really sad that charm didn't get nominated she just get nominated for her role in GD, I don't understand y charm didn't get nominated for her performance in DOL I mean both charray have been so dam good in DOL so I just don't understand it =(

I actually first watched the Canto version because I didn't have the patience to wait for the Viet dubbed one to come out. I only watched the Charray parts of course but I could understand what was going on from reading spoilers and see how wonderful Charray acted with their gestures and stuff. Now the Viet dubbed version is out so I'm watching it right now too.

yeah, I agree with you. The HK audience (mostly housewifes) probably prefer light, comedic series that don't make them think so much. So they can watch snippets while doing their house chore or resting and still understand what is going on. DOL and LWOLAP are such meaningful series with deep meanings and appeal to those who want to be touched with their heart. I enjoy the storylines and the actings of these series because I love dramatic series that have deep meaning and teach morals. Do you know what I mean?
HOG has teaching within it too but there's too much of other junks. Like the bad people keep doing bad stuff and then they fight and fight and then fight some more, so annoying. And the storyline don't go anywhere and the ending is so stupid too I think. There are so many inconsistencies and stuff that make you go "WTH?" in there. Like how is Fala's character,who is still in high school, befriend with a bunch of women who are all older than her? And why hadn't Alfred have a girlfriend before he remet with Linda? He's the whole package, it's hard to believe he is not taken yet. So no other girl he rather be with than Linda's character? Oh yeah and Linda's character is annoying as he!!. oh sorry, I got a little bit carried away there. This is a Charray thread mah heehee

Back to Charray, I can't believe none of the female cast in DOL got any nomination!!!!! TVB, what are you thinking?!? I mean Charm's character in GD was great but people might forget about that character already in HK. Although I know the chance of Charm's winning best actress again this year is slim, but I still hope she get in the top five and get favorite character too. Along with Ray who I hope win the favorite male character since TVB already geared for Moses to win best actor this year.
