LOL, thanks guys, for reading it! =) But i'm not gonna say if it's gonna be a Charray ending or not...not giving any hints! (actually, i'm just bluffing...i'm just gonna keep on writing and just let the story write itself!) And yeah, i was hoping for more sweet scenes when they were in the hotel room after getting hitched in Vegas. (i was like "OMG! They pulled a Britney Spears and got hitched!!) I wished they had elaborated more on that...maybe some kissing scenes or show them actually signing the papers? Teehee! But i still found it really sweet; there was a cake and roses and champagne in their room...take note: ONE ROOM, with ONE BED. I kept rewatching ep. 30 i was like "OMG they got married! OMG! OMG!! They're hubby and wife now!"

And yeah, i noticed the taxi thing...very sweet of Ray to put his arms around Charm while the taxi was driving away and you could just see their silhouettes driving away. So romantic! (i half-expected to see a "Just Married" sign over the nameplate of the taxi!)

Ep. 31 was very sad and Charm did an awesome job portraying Sau Fung. Just wished Charray didn't have to break up...=(

LOL, i'm gonna go watch ep. 30 again, just for the sake of it! =D

I want to see ep 32 and 33 too. Yes, it's going to be so sad (got my tissue ready) but going to be so powerful too I bet. Charray are superb at crying scenes and can grab at people's heart and leave deep impression.

Okay, went back and found the clip on youtube and compared it with the episode, and you're right, they are wearing the same clothes. I'm afraid it's very possible that TVB simple decided to change the scene, although, I'm not sure which one I would prefer. They are both very cute.

i just watched ep32.. and it is soo sad... it was so heart breaking to see them breakup.. and i must say Charmaine's acting was just great!! she just had such great emotions.. u can really see the mixed feelings inside of her.. and Raymond also.. he was just so devastated but u can really tell that they both love each other so much.. i think for the next few eps i will be crying as well.. but its ok.. they are going to get back together in ep 43 i think.. and with CCTV's fast broadcasting it should be within the next few days i think.. and again.. CCTV cut more scenes out.. the part where Damien and Gigi were meant to kneel in front of Charmaine..

and the scene with Raymond's cute forced proposal.. i think they changed the scene cos it seemed to link quite well.. it didnt look like it was cut.. which is a shame if they changed it.. i thought that would have been really sweet and cute to see.. but i also like the one where Raymond pushes Charmaine into the taxi..

now i'm waiting to watch them get back together.. i read in the synopsis that Charmaine comes back all evil and stuff and gives Raymond and the Wah family a really hard time.. should be great to watch!!

well guys, if you think epi 31 is heart breaking, wait till you see epi 32 and 33. I am totally trashed. Just couldn't help letting out my thoughts.....so please, beware:

Charm was in the taxi and saw Ray in his car rushing to the hospital to meet her....Charm said with teary eyes "Baby, say goodbye to daddy"...awww, my heart was like torn into pieces...

When Ray learned that Charm had an abortion (actually a miscarriage, he was misled by the nurse), he became hysterical. I have never seen Ray been like that. Even his crying scenes before are usually much more calm but this time, he is like totally devastated, wild, out of control. My heart aches so much for Ray. The baby is a symbol of their love, the symbol that Ray and Charm still has some connection, and a symbol that they still have hope to be together. So Ray broke down totally not only because of the loss of his child, but also the ties with Charm are totally cut off. His last hope is shattered.


Poor Charm was begging the doctors to save her baby....and I think she told the secrets about her mom and Daimen to Gigi and her claiming that she has deliberately killed the baby was a self punishment and also a way of forcing herself to have no chance of turning back.

I have to say that I am very impressed at Ray and Charm's acting skill. Actually more on Ray. I know that Charm can always portray such emotional scenes very well, but Ray has made a breakthrough. I think his past emotional scenes are good, but still a little "cold" or not 100% into it. Even when he cried so hard in LWOLAP when Bing Wan left him, I was not that moved....I could feel his saddness, but he seems not to be 100% into it. But this time, esp the hospital scene, I could feel like his every cell is telling us how hurt, how desperate, how heartbroken he is. Bravo to Ray and Charm!

*cries* i just finished watching episode 32, and like the rest of you I found it extremely sad and heart breaking. It's so sad that Charmaine has lost her baby by accident (she had actually wanted to raise the baby herself as a single mother), but for revenge she has made Ray believe that she aborted the baby purposely, now everybody will misunderstand her, even Ray. ><

It's obvious that she still loves Ray (she turned her head around when he was chasing after her while she was riding away on the taxi)... So she's hurting herself by leaving the love of her life behind, and now she has also lost her own baby. Being alone in the world she has no one to cry to or express her sorrow to. I feel equally bad for Charmaine and Ray. SOBS I can't wait until they get back together. I literally screamed in frustration when the clip for episode 32 ended... I wanted more.


Does anybody know where I might be able to dl the whole episode? I REALLY just want to see Ray's reaction to all this... since the clips provide by Charmaines from Shehsheh.com only has Charmaine parts. ><

Hello I'm steel at home but I don't have time to read all the post that u guys have post. but I have catch up DOL now ^^I must say that I love charms character. And of course the charray parts is awesome. I think ray was great in the criend scene he really did a great job charm did it as well, I cried so hard when charm mom died. wow wow wow, I just watched ep 32 and 33 and I'm so so very sad right now. you're right on whoever said this was a breakthrough role for Raymond. He did such a great job portraying....

[spoiler]someone who has lost his dearly beloved and a father who have just lost his unborn baby. The scene when he went completely out of control when he found out that Charmaine "aborted" their baby were so real, very well acted![/spoiler]

I've never seen a role where Raymond express such powerful emotion and pain so effectively before. I can't help but think that maybe it was his partner/costar (Charmaine) who brought him to be so into his role. I really think Raymond deserve best actor for this role. Likewise, Charmaine did a great job as usual. I cried along with her and felt her pain.

[spoiler]When the nurse push Charmaine pass the baby room, that got be bawling so hard. Charmaine look so much in pain and helpless. I wanted Raymond to run up to her right then and hug her real hard and confort her that it was all a dream. Her mother didn't die and the two babies in there are their twin daughter and son. lols, the reason I watch DOL is for Charray too! They are the best couple! But I felt that their scenes are too short. I'm quite greedy lols. It's because this is such a grand series with many many lead actors and actress that they have to limit the scenes for each. I really want Charray to star in another modern series when just them two are the main leads. Then we'll get to see much more of Charray.

I finally did it! I finally watched ep. 32+33 and dawnlight you're right, Charray once again proves why they should win Best Actor&Best Actress AND Best Onscreen Couple. Wow, i cried so much even though i only watched the Charray clips only. I think DOL provided breakthrough roles for both Ray and Charm. The emotions were so great, their expressions, just priceless. The scenes were, without saying, tremendously and superbly acted. But i'm still super bumed about them breaking up. (god, i'm watching LWOLAP and it's near the ending part where Charm just stabbed Ray and i was like, wow, so deja vu! In LWOLAP Charm stabs Ray physically while in DOL she stabs him...uh...mentally? lol you get what i mean right?)

It was so sad in the part where Ray chases after Charm who was in the taxi with her mother's ashes. And the part where Charm passed Ray who was looking really dejected in his car and she was patting her stomach saying, "Say goodbye to Daddy, baby." So sad! And my heart absolutely ripped apart when Ray was like "Why did you do it? That was OUR baby!" And Charm was like, "You mean the baby of the Wah Family. It has nothing to do with me." You could feel the pain Charm felt underneath when she said those words, but she had to suppress her personal emotions to help get revenge for her mother. I felt Charm did an AMAZING job as Sau Fung, expressing all those mixed emotions and feelings Wing Sau Fung must've felt...being in love with someone whom you're destined to hate. And Ray...man, he has to be the best crier in TVB (along with Charm of course!). Four thumbs up for the both of them!

Agree with you on that. I have nothing against Myolie, but I dislike the character of Bing Yee. Funny, while people say what a nice girl she was and how she deserve Pong's love, I feel creeped with the fact that the 'waiting' 'supporting' is more like waiting for an opportunity to pounce on.

Granted, Bing Yee is a nice girl and she did not actively goes after Pong, but deep down she still have hopes for Pong. Yeah, right she did not do anything to ruin Pong-Fung relationship, but given a chance of 'vacancy', wouldn't she be happy to fill in? Everyone been 'Bing Yee situation' one way another, so if you were her, you know that you;ll bound to get 'greedy' over time. If I'm Sau Fung, I will feel creeped with a girl like that lurking around my bf 24/7. So I can understand why Sau Fung did what she did on Bing Yee's bday.

[spoiler]Apart from proving to Pong that Bing Yee secretly loves him, Sau Fung also proved my theory of Bing Yee harboring passive hopes on Pong. I don't think what Sau Fung did was outrageous as some ppl said, because as she said, when tomorrow come, everyone will pretend that nothing happened - but Bing Yee will know that she should not be harboring hopes on Pong.

Bing Yee feel sad and cried not because she feel embarrassed or humiliated, but rather because she have to accept the fact that Pong never and does not love her.[/spoiler]


Anyway, I watched episode 32-33 and damn they're so sad. The saddest scene for me is where Fung & Pong went to see the gyne and Pong showed her the baby shoes. I was crying along with Fung, because she had to bid farewell to her own happiness, saying goodbye to Pong.

Therefore, when she lied to Pong regarding her 'abortion', it's not to hurt Pong, but rather she want to punish herself. She doesn't want anyone to forgive her, but hate her because only then Pong can forget her and move on. However, in later episode, I believe that

[spoiler]Fung's resentment grew over time and when she saw Pong and Bing Yee together, she was bitter that she lost everything while Wah family seems to have forgotten her misery and moved on happily ever after. She lost her last hope after her baby died and perhaps clinging onto bitterness was the only way she could face another day.[/spoiler]

I totally agree with you on this. Even though I didn't understand what they were saying, I could guess from the situation and their expression. I though Bing Yee was quite narrow-minded (is that the right word to say?) when she did all those mean stuff to Sau Fung (like dirtied up her shirt and locking her in the bathroom). That is just petty and mean. Why did she do that anyway? Can someone explain to me in a spoiler? Pong and Sau Fung weren't together then, so Bing Yee can't be jealous of that can she?

I totally agree that what Sau Fung did was understandable. I would do the same thing to Bing Yee too. I would feel uncomfortable to have a girl who secretly loves my boyfriend always hanging around him, so sooner or later I will have to let her face the reality. It is for the benefit of the 3 of them to "force" Bing Yee to face the fact that there's no hope in her love relationship with Chun Bong. She might as well move on to find her own happiness instead of wasting time on someone else's boyfriend. Some people think that doing it on Bing Yee's birthday is too cruel, but hey, if she doesn't come to the dinner with such high hopes of a chance to develop a love relationship with Bong, she will not be so disappointed. Besides, Sau Fung and Bong will not brag about this and they can all act normal afterthe incidence. The main purpose is just to let Yee to understand the reality.

And I think Sau Fung is probably the person who hurts the most in the revenge. Jsut can't wait to see the 2 of them get back together.



Dawnlight, my interpretion is that:
Bing Yee doesn't like Fung from the beginning since she thinks Fung is always cheating Bong and causing him not to concentrate on his work. Yee's character is quite the opposite from Fung, so it is quite difficult for them to get along well. To me, Yee is already jealous of Fung. Maybe Yee is not "in love" with Bong yet, but Bong is giving all his attention to Fung and is quite mean to Yee in comparison. I would be quite unhappy too if I am the hardworking one, the "righteous and good girl" while the one who is so money greedy and uses tricks to get her way around is always getting the credits and attention.

myhelen: i totally agree with what you said that Sau Fung as probably the one hurt the most, ironically, out of the "revenge". I expected them to have "grieved" a little longer...especially Ray. If i was him, it would probably take me a couple of YEARS to get over such a relationship. No matter how cruel Sau Fung was to him, they shared many happy memories which i'm sure that anyone, or at least for me, would take a LONG time to erase or even let it dim. (lol, i know this is gonna be another one of those torture series where i can't stop watching it but i'm most likely cursing the scriptwriters while watching it! LOL!)

And referring to Bing Yee's character. I guess we could use the comparison between an angel and devil. Sau Fung here, in the eyes of Bing Yee, is the "devil"...yet as the old saying goes, "guys love bad girls". Which is true in the case of Pong. If i was in Bing Yee's shoes i would probably really hate Sau Fung for hurting the man she loves so much yet doesn't love her. Especially how mean Pong was to Bing Yee over Sau Fung and always giving Sau Fung all his attention and never listening to Bing Yee. Bing Yee was always behind Pong, never leaving him and i guess it made sense for Pong to go for Bing Yee at his lowest point in life. After all, you can't expect a guy who just got dumped by his wife at his own wedding and found out his child is gone to make proper rational decisions, now can you? But in my opinion, i still believe the love Pong has for Sau Fung will never truly go away. They gone through so much that it's one of those relationships that you'll remember for the rest of your life. The wound is too deep to completely heal, scar less. He maybe hiding it, he may be burying it, he may be even pretending it's not there: but it is.

As a die-hard Charm fan, i absolutely cannot bear watching Bing Yee slap Sau Fung!! It's gonna be another one of those torture scenes to look forward to. LOL!

But i still cannot wait for Sau Fung and Pong to get back together!! Need more Charrayness!! =) I truly hope Pong and Sau Fung can work through all this and end up together in the end. I have watch till eps 37 and it's so heartbreaken to watch how sad Pong is, I can't wait for Fung to comeback again.. I have cried so hard this eps. I really can feel the pain inside Fungs heart. As what Pong have said she have no friends just him and her mom. But I must say that I'm happy to know that Pong did see Fungs teary eyes in the taxi before she get to the hospital.

Both of them did a great job and I really hope for some award for them both I would be so happy if they could take the best actress/actor award on the TVB anniversary and I totaly think that they can make it. I mean both characters are memorable and well portraied by them.

I don't really understand y the ratings for this serie is not going so well in mainland. do someone have a clue? I think this serie is great.

I totaly agree with u, I think the same. I don't think that Fung wants Pong to suffer. more like she wants him to hate her and go on with his life and just forget about her. But in the same time she want some other way out.

Hahaha u are right. the slapping scene will be hated. as a charm super fan as I'm I will freak out (I hate myolie) so it's hard to watch it but I'm sure the slap would make sense also I have seen charm get slap by Sonija so I think I can stand it

Actually, Sau Fung slapped Bing Yee first. Which I thought Bing Yee totally deserved it by rambling how she shouldn't re-appear again and what a monster she is by killing her baby. Sau Fung totally loses her cool and slapped her. Well, then Pong saw the 'tearful' Bing Yee and goes shouting angrily at Fung. And then the docile kitten Bing Yee stepped out and slapped Fung.

I feel disgusted hearing how Pong threatened Fung, blabbering how he'll protect the innocent girlfriend Bing Yee. Now I look forward to Fung unleashing her wrath on Wah family

I'm totally turned off by how Pong decided to accept Bing Yee. I guess crying and goes all 'I'm so pitiful' works

OHMIGOD...are you serious?! Wow, that's...that's...that's TORTUROUS! So heartwrenching...being told off by the one you love the most and knowing he's trying to "protect" his new gf. That's really harsh. Wow. LOL, i know i'll be hating Ray & Myolie's guts in THAT episode. Poor Charm...WHEN WILL CHARRAY GET BACK TOGETHER ALREADY?! Wahhhh! I miss them together!
I just wish Charm would tell Pong that she didn't have a miscarriage on purpose. I think Pong should have tried harder to understand what Fung was going through. It's not like Fung was an evil, sinister person to start with, a little witty maybe, but not downright evil. If i was Pong i would have tried to understand what Fung was going through and be sympathetic as to why she did what she did. Wow, Pong just moved on with Bing Yee? What was he thinking?!
I hope the newest Charray-only clips will be available for update soon. (they're up to ep. 33 right now) I just know i'll be crying a river when i watch that part (when Pong yells at Fung to protect his 'innocent' girlfriend Bing Yee ) But i know both Ray and Charm will be very very VERY good in those scenes.

P.S. i have no clue why the ratings aren't skyrocketing in Mainland China!! I LOVE this series (i haven't actually watched it yet....just Charray scenes). I read a report where they say some netizens were complaining how it was "boring" in the first couple of episodes of just Damien talking. But common'! Aren't all series like that? (particularly the good ones?) It just gets better and more exciting later on. Jeeze. I'm sure the ratings in HK and overseas will be just AMAZING. *crosses fingers* GO CHARRAY!!

Ooh, very interesting! Looking forward to see this. I didn't believe for one second Charmaine "Sau Fung" would let Myolie slap her anyways without getting back at her, but I definitely like that Charmaine is the one to slap first esp. when Myolie blabs bulls*** as usual. I thought she was totally out of line when she interfered when Sau Fung first came to Beijing. Who does she think she is? Like Ray says, she's his secretary not his mother (or something like that).

I really don't like Myolie, I mean her character. I hate that she's all dolled up after she "gets" the guy. I prefer strong women who believes in themselves, which is also why I esp. like Charmaine is this role. I also hate, hate, HATE that Myolie followed Ray everywhere because subconsciously or consciously she was of course waiting for a chance to "comfort" Ray.

I also love CharRay's relationship in such way that they don't "need" each other to get up after a defeat. Like when Charmaine went backrupt and Ray's company went bankrupt. I love that each are so strong characters that they can get back on their feet on their own.

I don't believe Charmaine wants Ray to suffer either. I think all the times before the break-up, she was feeling guilty because she knew what she was going to do. But nevertheless, and though I personally obviosly understand Charmaine's need for revenge, she has done many cruel things to Ray. Therefore, I would to see her suffer just a tiny bit, and then of course a happy CharRay ending.

hey. I just finished reading all the posts from the last tome i was here. It's been a while. I was catching up on DOL. OMg i just finished episode 37. I felt so bad for Ray. You can feel how sad he is without him saying anything. The Baby shoes he got were sooo cuteee. I cryed with him when he was looking at them and hugging it. i can't wait to get to episode 43. I don't even want to watch the ones where Ray and molie are together. I think molie should be with the guy with the glasses and is really smart.

BTW, have you watched ep. 40 already, Sehseh? You're quick, is it because you're d-loading with torrent or do you use DD?

oh ic. Thank you myhelen for clarifying for me. So I guess Bing Yee felt that she deserve more attention since she's the "good" girl. I understand why she felt that but I still think she is being so selffish. She should have just accept the fact that Pong and Fung are a couple and there's no hope for her. I think it's terrible to follow (or in this case stalk) someone you have a crush on but doesn't like you around and hope he breaks up with the one you love for you, just find an opening and sneak right in! That is a horrible action by someone who just selffish and petty. If you love someone, don't you just want them to be happy?
I just can't stand the type who act all helpless and weak so people take pity on her and "love" her back. Then when she finally get what she wanted, she act all tough with "I'm going to protect my man" deal!

[spoiler]Even though Pong and Bing Yee get together in just a short time, I don't think Pong really love Bing Yee. He just felt sad and angry at Fung for what she had done even though he still loves her. Pong just felt responsible to get together with Bing Yee because she was "there" for him at his lowest point. Maybe some part of him just want to make Fung jealous and tried to forget about Fung. I don't even know why I put spoiler for this, since everybody practicall knew this part lols [/spoiler]

I hope Pong will find out the truth soon and Pong and Fung will be a lovey dovey couple again!

oh, I found some pictures of when Charray was filming DOL. They are so cute! There's some with them sitting together in an outdoor cafe, probably memorizing their scripts. But they were alone at the table, make it look like they're out on a date in their own world lols.

just watched the clip u guys were talking about.. the slapping bit.. and i must say very not happy watching that scene.. just dont like the fact that Bing Yee said Fung killed her own baby.. i'd be pretty pissed off too when knowing thats not the truth.. but i must say i do like the "evil" Fung.. shes so cool.. i like how shes so straight forward when Pong asked what did she do to Bing Yee and she's like "I slapped her..." i thought that was funny...

i just watched a clip and it was a preview of Fung and Pong... it talks about Pong wanting Fung to stab him and kill him so she can leave his family alone.. and also he doesnt want to see her living her life so painful cos of revenge.. the Fung broke down and hugged Pong... aww.. they love each other so much... it was so heart breaking seeing them break up but tonight they will be together again..

I just watch (or actually skimmed through for Charray) ep 40! Man, that Bing Yee is heck annoying!
[spoiler]First she got all pisse off and start yelling at Fung and lecturing her. Then even mentioned that Fung killed her own baby. Fung got a logical reason to slap Bing Yee.
I find it so cool of Fung to come out and said "I slapped her" to Pong too! lols And Pong was like speechless. Then I find it so annoying for Bing Yee to then slap Fung and said she won't let Fung hurt Pong again, or something like that. Why didn't she do that right after Fung slapped her? Why must she act all sad and pitiful to Pong so that he went chasing after Fung and then act all tough woman and slap Fung? Must Bing Yee be so longing for Pong to see that she can take care of herself and him? Why did she act all pitiful before then? That woman is ridiculous I tell ya!
I think Pong wasn't mad that Fung slapped Bing Yee, he was mad that Fung changed so much and thought very little chance of them getting back together. That Pong is in serious denial man.
I think I understand why Pong got together with Bing Yee so soon. He naively thought that by having a replacement, he can forget Fung and all the pain. He doesn't really love the replacement; it's just something he hope to heal his wound. But no. Only the one who tie the knot can undo it. Only Fung can really heal Pong. And we will see it in future episode. Can't wait to see Fung and Pong get back together again!! [/spoiler]

One thing I noticed is that when Pong and Bing Yee are together (like strolling the street together), they appear not as close as Pong and Fung. I didn't see the previous episodes so have no idea how Pong and Bing Yee got together, but when they are together in ep 40, they don't seemed like a couple at all. Dooes anyone know what I mean? Like when they are walking together, Myolie only wrap her arm and hang on to Pong's elbow, not very close at all! Pong doesn't hold her hand or anything. But when you see Pong and Fung together, he always either hold her hand or wrap his arm around her.

This remind me of the clips of Charray filming. It's so amusing to see whenever they're getting really to film, their hand automately come together like a magnet! Charray didn't even have to glance down to see the other's hand to grab. They just come together. So sweet!

I just learned that the female artist of Ray's new song MV is Bernice. Well, I totally don't understand why. I mean the song is the subtheme of DOL and just don't understand why ask Bernice to be in it instead of Charm? Afterall they are a pair in DOL mah. Just don't understand at all.

I dislike Bing Yee very much as well. Totally agree that she deserves the slap for going up to Sau Fung and start accusing her. she started everything. And what I hate the most is how she is so fierce and strong when talking to Sau Fung and suddenly became the meek and girl being bullied in front of Bong. I jsut don't understand why some other people said that they feel so sorry for Bing Yee. Come on, from day 1 she knows that Bong loves Fung only and she still chose to follow Bong everywhere. She is just waiting for a "crack" to sneak in loh. And when Fung left Bong, anyone who has the right mind should know that it is way too dangerous to start a relationship with Bong because she will only be regarded as the substitute. but no, she still chooses to go for it. I think she is just asking for all the pain she suffers.

Yup, I am really looking forward to Fung's ruthless revenge on the Wah family. Must be real cool. Bong deserves a good spank from Fung and then they should get back together as they both love each other
