Sorry it took a while, I've been so busy this past days.

myhelen, wow, they cut a whole lot of Charray huh? I wonder why. Is it because there are more Charray scenes than any one else? I don't think so. I think Charray have so little scenetime compare to the veterans. Seeing the Charm-only clips are only a few minutes from each episodes.

bittersweet05, so the newest Harry Potter movie was a disappointment? I was going to watch it last weekend but I opt for that comedy with Adam Sandler instead. It was quite funny but like all Sandler's movies, lots of adult jokes. But quite enjoyable. Maybe I'll wait for Harry Potter to come out to DVD instead of spending more $ on the bigscreen since not many people like it from what I've heard so far. Please please update your fanfic please! I want to know who Charm will chose

Yay! DOL has the highest rating last week! 31 is not so bad but I hope it will be more this week with the tram ep where Charray kiss! Goodness, I hope TVB put that romantic kiss on the tram in and not cut it like dumb CCTV.

Hello sweet, I have been in norway( oslo and bergen) it was really beautiful there but there wheren't any places that was related to charray =P I'm sorry maybe there aren't too many chinese there. But I didn't serach for them either so.
I wonder too y they cut off so many charray scene on the mainland version I mean shouldn't it have more scene time with them if TVB really wanted to promote this couple?anyway I think the Hk version is better and we will see more charray sweet scenes ^^

I thought that DOL is to promote Charray in Mainland market too! I don't understand why CCTV cut so many Charray scenes then. If anything, they should include more (the most) scenes with Charray to promote them. Since Charray both have so many fans in mainland, they should include more Charray scenes to draw in the viewers that are Charray's fans. Their rating would have been way higher I think! Oh well, that is the past. Now I just hope TVB do a better job at editing and keep all the Charray's scene especially the intimate kissing on the tram and the multiple kisses Ray planted on Charm.

If I remember correctly, there were also pictures from them filming another kisisng scene which was not feature in the cCTV version right? It was like at night and Charm was walking and Ray was standing in the corner (next to the phone booth or something) and spotted Charm so he quickly walk over to Charm and confront her about something. I remember seeing the clip where Charm have to redo the walking scene over and over and the wind keep blowing. Charray hugged and then kissed. I don't remember watching it in the CCTV version. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I think I understand what u are meaning the scene where charm had her jacket (the white one) on the half of her body and huged ray? I think that scene was the one where she was drunk. the same day charm droped her bracelet. I don't know if it's that scene but I think it's that scene just that they cut that huging part or something.
Yeah we should just leave the mainland version and focus on the HK version, and I'm sure there will be better and I don't think that TVB have cut the kissing scenes I mean if they did y did the film it at the first time =p hm. well the rating for DOL in mianland was great and I think that many ppl in mainland like it like it was. yeah yeah, that's the scene I was talking about! You have better memory than I do that Charm was drunk and wearing the white jacket in that scene. I think CCTV version showed they hugged but not kiss. I remember seeing pictures that fans took of them kissing in that scene. I'm not sure though. Maybe not, can anyone confirm? I think you guys got confused. I don't recall that drunken Charmine scene ended with Charray kissing. Hug, yes, but kiss? Hmmmmm,.....I don't think so woh. Maybe I am getting old and forget something lah. Can someone please check the filming clip? I think the kissing scene that is definitely missing is the proposal scene where Ray plants multiple kisses on Charm.

I am disappointed too since I thought DOL is to promote Charm and Ray to the mainland audience. I heard that CCTV cut some of Charm's and Charray's scene to minimize scenes that showed the "darker side" of the character, which is not that readily accepted in CCTV standard. E.g the scene asking Daimen and Gigi to kneel and the scene when Charm argues with Gigi and compared the situation to breaking Ray's leg but take care of him for the rest of his life.

I heard that TVB has cut out some Charray scenes too. Such as the one scene in epi 7 when Ray took Charm home and asked if she needs him to escort her upstairs. Geez, does that mean I have to watch both CCTV and TVB versions to ensure I don't miss out any Charray scenes? I am sooooo glad that some kind fans have extracted Charmaine only scenes so that I don't have to go through 58 episodes of DOL, which is quite boring without Charray. Now, I have to download Ray-only clips to make my list complete. Geez, my Internet services provider has already called me and said I am over limit lah.........

Let's count the number of kissing scenes in the CCTV version so far okay?

1. Charm kisses Ray multiple times on the tram (no romantic kiss in CCTV version)
2. Where Charray were on their first "real" date: the bicycling, the kite flying, the flower giving, and the romantic kiss
3. Charray with their matching brown outfit strolling along a pathway after Ray won the bed making contest. This is my favorite kissing scene of Charray
4. At Charray's official wedding where the handsome groom and the beautiful bride kiss so lovingly

That's all I can remember right now. But I strongly think I'm missing another kissing scene. Am I going delusional? Cuckoo for Charray?



WHAT?!? How dare TVB cut out Charray scenes too! After all the emails and complaints with not enough Charray in CCTV version, I thought TVB actually learn something!! I guess they don't care about emails from outside of HK. *sigh* so TVB cut that whole scene out? the one where Ray give Charm a lift home and talk with her outside her house? Why the heck did they do that? There was even news about that scene with pictures, I remember, how Ray was hungry and have to go buy crackers or something. People who saw the news article is going to wonder what happen to that whole scene. Why did they even make Charray film those scenes if they are just going to toss it in the editing room! I am quite frustrated now. Gosh I just hope the Viet dubbed the version that has the most of Charray or I will just go even crazier. Sorry about the outburst, just need to let out some steam.

Dawnlight, basically I capture the scene sec by sec and reassemble them again in Adobe ImageReady. Patience is really required for this.

I haven't have the time to go and learn how they add fancy design and stuff to animation yet. Maybe in the future.

Dawnlight, the kissing scene that we are all referring to is the multiple kissing scene, which is the proposal scene in Beijing. Charm is angry at Ray and walks off and Ray took the opportunity to "force" her to marry him. Apparently, there are 2 versions to this scene. The CCTV version is when Ray pulled Charm into a taxi and took her to Las Vegas. The one we saw from the filming clips is that Ray planted multiple kisses on Charm on a busy street, making her yielding to his request.

Sehseh, I suppose Charlian has not collaborated for so long that some of us have forgotten how compatible and picture perfect they are. Maybe when we see them together again, that feelling will come back. Just curious, what do you think is lacking in Charray? Or should I ask, what is that you see in Charlian that's better than Charray? In a way, I think Ray and Chilam are very much alike. They both can totally torture and wrench your heart when they cry. Both have eyes that give out so much electricity that you will faint. They can both sing very well. They are both fun loving kids at heart. Sometimes I ask myself why do I like Charray more than Charlian now, and I still couldn't find the answer. Maybe it's their close resemblance. Maybe it's the character in the drama series that got me confused. Maybe I like Charm and Ray separately, so it's logical to love them as a pair. Lots of maybes. One definite answer - I really like Charray!

just finished watch eps 7-9 of DOL!! and as mentioned above TVB did cut a Charray scene out.. very very not cool!! i was watching it then saw the scene where Ray took Charmaine home and they didnt show the bit when they both got out of the car.. i thought it was me going crazy but no they did in fact cut that scene out.. i hope that will be the first and last scene they cut out of Charray!!! almost up to the bit with the kissing on the tram.. getting very excited about that part.. woo!! anywho.. should calm myself down..

myhelen, like you I'm a fan of Charmaine & Ray separately. I don't mind seeing them paired up together and they do have great chemistry in DOL. Many will kill me for saying this, but I do feel something lacking in LWOLAP. Whereas in other events they seem close, but all I can feel is friendship.

Whereas for for Chilam & Charmaine, I can feel the tremendous attraction in their first collaboration till there last one, be it series, movies, game shows or events. IMO, I am certain that at one time, they did have feelings for each other but things didn't work out for them, with many factors. And now with Chilam married and having a kid of his own, there is no more space for us fans to fantasize about, our dream was dashed.

With such 'imperfect ending', no other pairing can substitute CC.

Sehseh, I agree with what you said about Charlian. I do feel and believe that they have real feelings for each other one point in time. Unfortunately, things didn't work out in our imperfect world. But contrary to your repsonse to the "imperfect" ending, I am trying to find another perfect half for Charmaine since I know I cannot put any more hope into Charlian pairing. Chilam being a family man now makes it really hard for me to believe in the love story he and Charm protray. With this dream shattered, I want to find another Charmaine pairing that I can truly put my passion into support and allow my wild imagination to believe in the touching love stories put right in front of my eyes. And I saw Charray. And I fell in love.

I could also understand why you think something is lacking in LWOLAP. I think it partly has to do with Mong Yiu's character being very calm and cool. Although to me, the "limited' chemistry is already good enough for me to love this pairing. When I watch DOL, I can say that their chemistry has again improved and enhanced. Their performance is indeed as Charm said in the interview, more mature and in greater depth. Their emotion scenes are so natural and powerful. And I just can't resist to support the 2 artistes I love the most to become a pair. At least on screen. Despite how addicted I may seem, at the back of my mind I still have a rational sense that only friendship exists between Charray in real life. At least right now. But there's always the future, right?

With all that said, I have redirected all my support and yearning for the Charlian pair into the Charray pairing. Plus the original support and affection for Charm and Ray, my addiction is getting deeper than ever. I sure hope there will be more of Charray series in the future. Afterall Joe and Jessica has colloaborated in over 5 series (according to their fans) so I hope charray can beat that.

I'd better start drafting my letter to TVB.

U haven't missed any kissing scene from the CCTV cersion. they had just few kissing scenes in mainland version. I don't know if they have any kissing scene when charm was drunk but I can see if I can find that clip u are talking about.

All that talk about how Charray are just friends in real life kind of got me down. You can tell i am not a rational person lols. Even though in reality, yes, they might not be a couple, but I really just prefer to dream in my Charray world that they are. When I watch them onscrene, it gave me a happy feeling I don't know how to describe. It like digesting a very very flavorful icecream or something like that. Maybe not, I dont' know how to say. But I really enjoy watching Charray on videos and seeing their pictures and discussing about them with you guys. I guess you can say this is a hobby of mine. Charray is perfect oncreen, them being a couple is better yet. But if they are just really close friends then that's okay too, as long as they will co-star with each other many many more time for us to get hyper over then I'm happy. Not as happy as if they are real life couple, but still happy.

Actually, CCTV are not the only one cutting out scenes. Some scenes shown in CCTV version were cut by TVB as well. For example in episode 7, Ray offered to escort Charmaine back to her apartment but she said no.

CCTV have this scenes, while TVB don't. Which I think TVB shouldn't cut because moving to the next scene look very abrupt.

oh, somehow I thought it's in ep 9 heehee, my bad. If it's in ep 11 then we have to wait until next week. I hope TVB show the whole long kissing scene on the tram. To CCTV credit they did show Charray's heads coming together about to embrace in a romantic kiss but then they cut it off. So CCTV assumed that the viewers understood that they kiss romantically. But they should know that we want to see the actual kiss!

Dawnlight, Sorry to shatter your dream again, but I don't think there will be a Las Vegas wedding scene as in a scene in a chapel. The crew didn't go to Las Vegas and we have never heard of another wedding scene or seen pictures of it. I think they have used the hotel room scene to show that they have married loh.

I tend to dream in my own Charray world too...I am actually hoping for Charray romantic rumours and I was so happy to see them dressed in "lovers outfit" during the interview or to see pictures of them chatting happily. But I suppose I am more cautious than you so I keep remind myself not to get to carried away.

[spoiler]I think TVB will keep the passionate kissing scene on the tram because it is a highly promoted scene and TVB is more open to these type of passionate kiss.

Sehseh, I know, the way TVB edited the car scene is so abrupt. The transition is really sudden. I am surprised at how rough this is, TVB ususally does a better editing job. WOW! Everyone is so active! Charray will be so proud if they ever saw this! I loved that scene where Ray fights off those muggers, protecting his dear Charmie...so manly! What?! Dumb TVB! They cut yet another charray scene? I wonder what they are planning to do with the two extra episodes? So far I haven't seen or heard of extra Charray scenes! They keep cutting their scenes!! This make me mad again. I guess I'll have to wait for ep 11 to watch the Charray kissing scene to make it up.

Oh it seems I"m mistaken again. I better refresh my memory by watching those Charray clips again.

i've only seen like 2 episodes of DOL or so, so far cuz i left for japan when it started but i was lucky to have seen the 1st Charray scene in the show when ray n Charm met in the lobby of sum company thing, Charm was so evil lying to ray like that lol but cute how they met.

i've haven't the energy to read so many pages n posts by ya'll as we on page... wot! 19?! lol that was real fast, DOL really gave this thread a huge boost of activity in har ! w00t Charray

i did read sum posts as i c they have cut out another Charray secen?! how could dem TVB ppl do that, don't they go on the computer?! look at the Charray fan's galore lol

but atleast there r still other famous scenes to look for in DOL, e.g. the tram scene mon! w00t! can't wait to watch it !

I just skimmed through ep 10 and indeed they did cut the long scene of Charray in the coffee shop after Bing Yi locked Charm in the bathroom. That whole scene in long too, several minutes, not seconds that they cut! How dare they!

By the way, anyone who watched that scene, can you translate or summarize what all did Charray talked about. I don't understand what they were saying. I want to know if that scene is important or something and why TVB cut that scene! Thanks!

That part was not so importent it just that charm ask ray if myolie are carzy or something, and she wanted ray to buy apartment from her if he wonted her to be hapy again. hope this will help u

oh okay, thanks Jupi. I thought the scene was sweet though even though what they said wasn't very important to the plot. I think every Charray scenes are sweet lols

TVB should have kept that scene (and the car scene too) anyway because Charray have so few scene as I see it. I want to see more Charray! I feel like I can't wait until Monday to see the kiss

No they've both have died three times. Charmaine also died in Perish in the Name of Love and Ray died in The Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion.

No they did not. I thought that part was kinda funny. So far i think Tvb has been cutting out parts instead of adding more. They better have a lot of charray part in the comming episodes.

uhm I think in PITNOL Charm and Steven's deaths were fake. If I remember correctly, in the end Charm and Steven were shown a happy ending as they manage a noodle stall and Charm was pregnant.
And I'm positively sure that Ray didn't die in LWOLAP heehee I just recently rewatched it and it's one of my very favorite series. The ending was so sweet with prince Ray and his bride Charm riding horses together on the beautiful Mongolian field

Hey guys, I just have a great idea. Wouldn't it be great if TVB do a sequel to Angels of Mission? Charm could reprise her role as the tough, @ss kickng Ah Fa. I really like this character! She is so funny and tough but sensitive all together! Then Ray can be casted as a bad boy. He can be the son to a mafia boss or something. In AOM, Charm had to go undercover, now in the sequel, Ray, the badboy, could go undercover as a cop to help his evil-doer father. He would be assign to Charm's unit and meet her (not CTU though, her old unit). Because the work of CTU is so few in this peace time, Charm went back part time to help her old unit and meet Ray. They would be fire and water at first but then Ray fell for Charm. Charm is attracted to the mysterious badboy Ray too. Because Ray loves Charm so much, he decided to go against his father. But then Stephen Au came back and he start to investigate Ray. Then Charm misunderstood that Ray was using her this whole time. Ray's father came down on him and numerous conflicts insue!

Is that a good idea? TVB should make this series! I would totally support it 100% yeah!

hm.. I don't know really when charm will be back, I didn't even know that her vacation have start =P I think she have other jobs too to attend so I think she steel are in HK or mainland but her vacation end in the end of agu. if I haven't remember wrong.
And rays vacation have already ended.

as I said earlier I don't know really if charms vacation have start or not I haven't heard anything about her filming for silver lip is finish. Well ray did have a loger vacation if u have forgot about it he did mention is when he had that interview with charm and cham even said u have so long vacation it's not fair something like that well I don't know if he went to hawaii or not but u can ask rays fans maybe they can answer that question. I haven't update my news about them so I don't really know what they are doing but I know that ray is going to film a new ancinet serie maybe he is filming it right now =P so he can't have a vacatio.

I think the kissing scene posted on toudou should be the whole scene. TVB will not cut it, in fact, they have greatly promoted this scene. Yup, Monday 9:30 pm loh. There is a download address of this scene (Mandarin though) at shehsheh.com. I am assuming all of us would rather have the Cantonese version, right? So, I won't bother to upload or post the llink here loh.

Sehseh, I have the scene where Charm complained to Ray about Myolie locking her up in the toliet. However, it is the whole Charmaine clip for that episode and I don't know how to extract jsut that scene. Just look for the clip for epi 8-10. If you have trouble, let me know and I can upload it for you. I was told that that scene was cut out in the TVB version. So diappointing.........

yeah, I think Ray is too busy for a vacation as he is filming a new series and working on his album.
Speaking of album, I just thought of another reason why Ray didn't ask Charm to be in the MV, not that he haven't thought to. It's because he know Charm's schedule is tight and busy filming SLST so he doesn't want Charm to exhaust herself. Also, he and Bernice have the same manager, so the manager probably coerce Ray to ask Bernice to promote her too. Since Ray know he won't have intimate scene with the female lead, so he agree. Plus, when he ask Charm to be in his MV later, people won't make such a big deal about it heehee

They have been promoting that Charm kiss Ray many times but not really the intimate kiss scene so I'm a little worry since TVB have been disappointing me.

personally i'm a very big fan of charmaine, and then after watchin her with raymond in LWOLAP, i couldn't but fall in love this couple!! they have such good chemistry together!! i just watched up to episode 8 right now for hk version of DOL, n im loving this couple!! they're soo cutee, especially how raymond teases char about persuing her!! hehe ..so cute!! im really lookin forward to when they r actually together in the series..hope its soonN!! i cant waittt until i see their first kiss scene in DOL

in episode 11 there should be the load of kissing on the tram. wow!!! i am so happy that there are more CHARRAY fans now cuz now theres 20 pages. the last time i checked its was only 18 pages.
i thought it was kinda aww cute how in one scene when ray and charmaine were eating lunch or something ray said "we match each other so wel. do u think there will be a chance that we will..." i loved that scene.
