Kay: maybe I should've mentioned this in the 1st post. But this is the way I see them, I mean both r funny and goofy and bring lots of humour to the group, but underneath these smiles I feel like their is a lingering sorrow somewhere, even before I knew that JJ was adopted and Mickey's parents ordeal in the sates, their eyes really looks sad. They r the only 2 coming from more or less fractured families, JJ being adopted & realising this later in life, as well as his relation with his biological dad which is a mystery for me, I feel that deep down he feels kinda rejected. Yoonchun background is similar so I guess he feels the same. Both r sensitive but Mickey is the most emotional so he vents his happiness and sadness and show it all the time, while JJ chose to fight for his dreams, and in the process covered himself with this cold distant aura to survive the hardships he's been through, and still till now he doesn't express his happiness or sadness as well as others which makes him colder. So I think these 2 can understand where both r comig from & that's why r really close, they even have matching tattoos
