Ups and Downs in the Sea of Love is da best!

oops........forget to say why. Anyways Ups and Downs in the Sea of Love is my favourite TVB series because I love how they build up the love-hate relationship between the main characters. The show is overall romantic and hilarious! One of the best romantic-comedy.

i think mine was triumph in the skies. the series was cool. the cast was good and all. it was one of a kind

i'd have to say golden faith. this series was one of the VERY VERY VERY few series where the whole family watched together. i couldnt watch it by myself ahead of time like i would usually do. b/c i acutlally wanted to wait for my family members to watch it.

the cast was incredible, ranging from the older actors to the new ones, it was simply a cast of talented actors/actresses. the plot and storyline kept us on our feet, and it was something that we weren't bored with. simple as that.

When Rules Turn Loose: Myolie Wu, Samuel Chan , Liza Wang
This was a good happy end like series, and there's alot of funny parts in this series. And it didn't have a 3rd person in the relationships. I hate those conflicts.

Square Pegs: Roger Kwok, Jessica Hsuan, Leila Tong
love this series, it had everything, it was funny, touching, meaningful everything as GREAT...well exept the ending but still one of the best TVB series ever!

its just really good, explains karma really well, i just loved it and it was out for 11 years before i even got to watch it. i feel ashamed but at least i did in the end.

its really good the touching part is how much gallen is willing to give up for the family.

Revolving Doors of Vengence was a good one. Great storyline and the plot gets twisted and unpredictable

i liked triumph in the skies. it had a good cast with all those new actors and it had a great plot. inspiring and all.

My pick would definitely be Golden Faith. The cast was awesome and everyone performed amazing. I love Gallen and Jessica. And the plot was great too.

This series is so cute and happy and I like the cast! I enjoy watching it! I watch it and over and over but will never get bored!

Golden Faith, Triumph in the Sky, Man's Best Friend, War of in Laws!! I think these are really good. I think all the cast fits perfectly for the characters. There are chemistry in all characteristics which made the series more preferred! I don't even mind watching again and again and again!!

No series can ever beat LOCH 1983. Even now, we can't still find a better Gok Jing, Wong Yung, Yang Hong, and Muk Ninci. The '94 version was a joke since how can Gallen Lo be Yang Hong? Don't get me wrong, I have a lot respect for Gallen and he's a great actor, but handsome and charming he is not. I just can't see him as Yang Hong. The China version was bad too. So for me, the best series of all time and nonreplaceable will be LOCH 1983.

i love this series, even though the story was quite predictable, kevin was os good in this series!! i loved niki and kevin best.

the brink of law = ron ng, steven ma, kate tsui, bernice liu, michelle yim, shirley yeung, kenneth ma, june chan, shermining yiu

this is one of the best series that ron has ever starred in. i don't think anybody could of predicted that ron was gonna die! i cried! it was so sad. i love kenneth ma, but so sad he died a terrible death and so early.

point of no return = chilam cheung, charmaine sheh, sammul chan, angie chiu, damien lau

this series was so funny, chilam portrayed his character good and charmaine was absoluely fanatstic.

hard fate = damien lau, flora chan, kevin cheng, niki chow, michelle yip, michael tong

even though i absolutely HATE flora chan and damien , i still gave this series a try mainly because of kevin and niki and i lucky i did because it turns out to be one of my fave series.

For the best TVB series ever, Im going to say Heart of Greed. The cast of Heart of Greed is prob the best cast I have ever seen. It had Moses Chan, Raymond Lam, Bosco Wong, Tavia Yeung, YoYo Mung, Linda Chung, Michelle Yim, Louis Yuen, Susanna Kwan. That cast was exceptional. Also the plot of the series was good and very exceptional.

My favourite TVB series ever are: Golden Faith, Triumph in the Sky, Burning Flame I and Healing Hands I.
These four series is so good!! Burning Flame I is so emotional and good

WOIL - Liza Wang, Myolie Wu, Bosco Wong. Omg the bickering btw Liza and Myolie is just so hillarious!

Yesterday's Glitter - this is another great series. great storyline, great cast, but saddddd ending.

Glittering Days - this is a very interesting drama. love the songs and the plot. absolutely love the "minute to fame" scene in episode 5 where Liza and Roger kept dinging away each other's faves. LoL

The Awakening Story - interesting story, great cast. I think this is the only tvb drama that doesn't have a real villain. =p

Shell Game 2 - Liza and Chow Yun Fatt are wayyyyy cute in this series.

Dicey Business - Michael Miu, Bobby Au Yeung, Jessica Hsuan, Tavia Yeung all did a great job.

In all these series, there's no one who acts bad! But there are many more series I like, but too much to name them right now >.<

wow that's far tooooo many to name!!!!

the first that came to me is War & Beauty.... the cast is not necessary the greatest tvb has ever had but the storyline + the cast = great drama... the ancient day cat fight by Sheren Tang, Charmaine Sheh, Gigi Lai and Maggie Cheung was super engaging which is somewhat similar to modern day office politics... the ending might not have been fairytale liked.. but it ends with lots of emotion ... many scenes in this drama were simply classic...

there is too many good series but some of the good recent ones are:

Safe Guards - steven ma's character was one of the most likable characters of all time and wayne lai makes every series better

Men In Pain - i've never liked ron ng but he did a good job in this series. The story of ron and damien lau's father and son relationship in the series was really good. All of the issues in the series were something you can relate to and i just thought it was a really special series.

nah i cant decide on which one to be my all time favourite, there are too many.

also... Healing Hands 1, i still rmb how i felt after i watched the ending

Healing Hands I (Ada Choi, Flora Chan, Lawrence Ng, Steven Ma, Bowie Lam)...great plot, great cast, great acting, great bg music...need I say more? well maybe the fact that HH2 & HH3 by producer Chik Kei Yee were no where near the quality of original HH by producer Tang Dak Hei...

Golden Faith- Jessica Gallen Deric Wan Anne Heung Raymond Lam Tavia Yeung Michelle Yip Myolie Wu

They reached a balance in screentime Old vs New Generation (Very important for me!) The pace is just right and it's never boring. With an all star studded cast, they have given everyone fair amount of screentime in relation to experience, talent and plot requirement. The storyline is complex enough to be rewatch worthy yet simple enough for general audience to understand without a headache.

Triumph in the Skies- Francis Flora Joe Ma Louisa So Myolie Michelle Ron Sammul Bosco Kenneth

The subject of aviation is refreshing and interesting...another example of balance in old and new generation. Rewatch worthy.

hey im new but not to tvb i've been a fan since forever lol


well one of my favorite tvb series is weapons of love and passion b/c the cast looks matching together very well, the makeup artists made the actresses looks beutiful(most makeup artists dont; sometimes make the actresses look old and ugerly) and the storyline and twist is very original/plus it's very exciting and audience hooking with the first fight scene/ the plot is great/overall this seriesis one of my most fav. for the year 2006


cast:Charmaine Sheh/Raymond Lam/Bosco and b g/f/their friend the funny one/Pang pang in the series kinda forfgot his name, but he did an amazing job as the evil leader who was wise and powerful, and much more that i cant remember

i really liked square pegs..cus it was actually really funny and i enjoyed watching the cast

For me, HEART OF GREED would be cosider for me the best for this year.

Before this show air,alot of the people think that the casting aint strong so it wouldnt make a big hit.
But look what happen after it air,the first few weeks, the ratings are normal & aint good.

But nice plots are coming up and attracted other audience,&the ratings were very good towards the last few weeks. They organised alot of party,&promotions.

The ending even peaked at 48pts though it didnt break last yr's 50pt ratings,but it's already a commendable result. Ranking as one of the highest ratings series in this few recent years.

Well, every actors/actresses acting were real good and commendable.
LindaChung definitely improve alot.

Well, since im a BOTA fan,
i definitely hope for more BOTA screentimes in the show.
But , with these screentimes of BOTA altogether,
although some parts are rushing,
it's already real nice.
The scenes are more sweet,more romantic,&more nervousing story-like than in DB.
I loved it.

&Other points lik the old actors/actresses.
Their acting lead the show to a success.

The nervous plot & storyline in the show lead audience to catching the series everyday.
It's been long since TVB have a nice series lik this from last year.
It's nervous plot really makes me go on and you'll really enjoy watching it.
Some parts are meaningful too.

I really love HEART OF GREED. ;D

Personally, I think that old series are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than now so here is a list of the actually really good series.

Armed Reaction 1 and 2: I really like them especially 2. I don't know why people doesn't like Armed Reaction 2. It hits all the story. love, family, friendship, female solving cases, female holding gun everything. Esther Kwan, Bobby Au-yeung, Joyce Tang, Marco Ngai, Joe Ma

Femininely Masculine: I like this series and only watched it because I like the couple Flora and Gallen. There acting is excellent especially Gallen who portrays a woman. Flora Chan, Gallen Lo and Kwong Wa.

Lady Flower Fist: A MUST WATCH. So funny and Esther is so cute! Esther Kwan, Kwong Wa.

File of Justice - Michael Tao, Jessica Hsuan, Bobby Au, Bowie Lam, William So, Flora cHan(part 5), Ada Choi, etc. This drama is one of its kind.Good balance of laughter and serious stuff.The friendships are good.

At the threshold of an era because of its great cast and its twist and turns in the storylinr.

I just rewatched it again recently and I really really really loved it!! The very best film TVB has ever made. I loved all the characters...the plot was excellent...the dialogue was great....the music fits the show very well and the cast all gave superb performances. It was a really unforgettable and heartwarming series. I started missing it once it ended...but the whole show ended perfectly. Loved Wong Hei, Louis, Esther and etc etc in the show. Hopefully TVB will be able to produce such wonderful series again

Under the Canopy of Love- Kevin, Niki, Bosco. It was so cute a loveable.
Twin of brothers- Love chemistry between Li Qian and Raymond. It was also really interesting.
Yummy Yummy- It was really cute. About a game show, and showed the importance of friendship in hard times.

I cannot really remember any old series. I forgot it haha. ^^ But here's some I remember!

A Step into the Past -- Love the storyline and Louis!
On the first beat -- Other may not agree but I liked it a lot.
Men Don't Cry -- First two episodes were not great but then it got better!
Side Beat -- Love Wong Hei & Flora here. (I haven't finished it yet but it's a lovely series) <33

The Master of Tai Chi - great kung fu actions and memorable bittersweet love of Raymond and Myolie ( perfect Rayolie ending too!)
Whatever it Takes - just like annie and benny together, they match well

I loved Forensic Heroes, 1&2. Bobby did a great job in pulling off the 'knowledgeable' forensic scientist, and I thought Frankie did quite well in portraying 'Dr. Koo'. Heart of Greed is another of my favourites, and I guess more recently, Moonlight Resonance.
