I'm so sick and tired of ppl saying Chun and Ella are CUTE together!!!

They're NOT okay.. it's very distributing how ppl kept on saying Chun and Ella are really cute in HanaKimi..

I don't get what those ppl see... Ella is so boyish... not saying it's a bad thing.. Ella's character is acting like a boy in HanaKimi.. how is that cute with Chun....

I do think Chun and Ella are a cute couple, but I'm not to the point like what you explained above. Basically I have nothing against Chunella and if they wish to film another series together, go ahead, and if they don't, I'm cool with that as well.

I personally enjoyed Jiro and Ella more as a couple in Hana-Kimi, to be honest... haha probably because Xiu Yi was my favorite character.

Well, I suppose Chun and Ella's exposure together is really high recently so people may get bored with them... I know Hana Kimi brought a lot of fans to an ecstatic fever and once I saw a fan saying things like "I want Chun to be with Ella only"... then I was thinking, why stick to one female artist while he could co-star/collaborate with other female stars?

I have nothing against the Chun+Ella pairing too, but I think sometimes Chun should be given the chance to be seen with other female artists instead of always Ella... or else it would be quite bland to see him with the same girl everytime...

I don't know what you mean by that, but I did finish the whole show... I do not hate them, but I am just annoyed that Chun is constantly being associated with Ella... sorry to CE fans, but like what I've said above, I really hope to see more of Chun acting/collaborating with other female artists... Ella may be a female star who suits him now, but who knows maybe if Chun does work with another female artist, she may be as compatible with Chun as Ella does...

Please take note that I am not being a hypocrite (I said before that I think CE have good chemistry together) because I do see CE as a good couple, but not forever...

Although, I don't like Zun matching up with Ella, I've no problem that others not think the same way. However, what annoyed me was that when I posted a video of Ariel and Zun on TJ promotion, I am getting so much childish comments such as Ella is so much better with Zun. It's not even related to Ella, can some fans just give it a rest and just accept that there are other people that preferred Zun matching with other actresses instead of Ella!

If Zun can only be match up with Ella in every serie, I am sure, eventually, no one will watch their drama!

the Taiwanese Hana Kimi RUINED my manga! i'm so scarred, i watched like, two seconds, ok, twelve seconds of the premotional trailer..what not thing...quite frankly, it destroyed me. no offense or anything, but the only actor who fit his role was Jiro(good job)...the others...nothing close to the manga characters....i request, no i demand a new cast!

I feel that Ella and Chun are cute together because of their on screen and off screen actions and stuff like that. I think that they are getting some haters because they are being overly promoted (The Color magazine thing just tells us all). Hana Kimi is sort of ruined because of both Ella and the plot. Personally i feel that Chun did quite a good job (He is just a newbie, give him some credit...lol). Sano isn't exactly very outgoing. LOL Ella wasn't feminine enough, but that doesn't mean that she isn't a good actor. In the drama, C&E are suppose to be a couple, naturally people will find them cute together. Obviously some won't. Like what Madhatter said, it's something like you prefer Rainie with Mike than Rainie with KingOne.

even though i'm an Ella fan, i'm also a Chun fan. and i don't like him because of his looks, i admire him for his caring personality and potential!! he's a great actor and he's really sweet. not many celebrities encourage others to do charity from the bottom of their hearts, but Chun is different. i see him as a very mature and filial man. so as his fan, i know i will always support his decisions and care for him.
and as for Ella, i'm sure you're all saying all those mean things about her because you don't know her at all. i live in Canada, and at first, i really don't give a damn about Taiwanese entertainment or showbiz. i knew that S.H.E existed and they were popular, but then, i just don't care. i don't listen to any of their songs or whatever. but then, my friend introduced me to Hanakimi, and i fell in love with the show. i saw a person called Ella and i admired her greatly. after 2 weeks of finishing the drama, i realized that Ella was in a band called S.H.E. hell, i didn't even know Ella stands for the 'E' in S.H.E. after knowing that she's a singer as well as an actress, i was just intruged. you guys have no idea what sort of person she really is. yes, i did think she looked like a boy at first glance. but after getting to know her, she really grows on you. she never wears heavy make-up like the other celebrities does. and sometimes, she doesn't wear them at all. why? because she wants to show us that a celebrity is just the same as any ordinary human on this planet.
i can assure you that if you make all the Taiwanese celebrities take off their make-up, they won't look as pleasing as they did on that recent magazine cover you saw of them. Ella is lucky she can look flawless and cute without make-up. and have you seen how she looked when she DOES wear make-up??? i myself i a very picky person, and i was surprised that i'm her fan at first. but seriously, if i were a guy, i would totally date her. she looks absolutely gorgeous, inside AND out.
she's also a rarety, she's not at all fake, and she acts the same on cameras and off. which just proves my point that she's one of a kind. but i'm not going to waste my time anymore in explaining these things, you can only understand this if you were her fan. and i'm sure only SOME of you in here are Ella fans.

I am someone who doesn't really like one couple to be together just by the drama.

Just like when I watch Devil Beside You, I really like mike and rainie together, but that was in the drama only. Because I can't find the right feel between them outside of the drama, so I nv get into them. And from what I believe, what I saw in drama, the FEELS, are all DRAMA, they are FAKE, they are plotted out. So I won't judge the feelings between them from the drama.

But as for CE, I can feel chemistry btw them from the promotion period. Therefore I started liking CE as a couple. I also ask myself b4, when did I start to like CE pairing? Did I just get the feeling from the drama, thus moving it on the the real world? But no, I realised that I like CE after watching those promotion shows. In my CE pictures folder, most of them are not from the drama. So i'm more convinced that I like them not because of the drama.

I know everybody says that Ella is too boyish-like so she and Wu Zun doesn't match. Well sometimes Ella gives people two feelings and that is a boyish feeling and femine feeling. If u don't really know her, u would probably just say that she's too boyish and doesn't match Wu Zun, but once u get to know her more, you'll see that she has a femine side too. I don't like it when people just say that "I don't like Ella cuz she's too boyish-like". That's not a reason, u can't tell someone by their appearance so next time when u say u hate Ella, please list a reason why.

My feeling about Wu Zun and Ella's relationship is that it's unique. It's not like anyone else. It's not only becuz of Hana Kimi but when i see them together during promotions, making mv, and behind-the-scenes. i saw how they got along with each other and they give me the feeling as a couple. I'm sorry if my previous response to this topic made you think i was bashing on either wu zun or ella.. because i said that ella's role in HANA KIMI was boyish. but come on.. she was MEANT to be playing a "boy" in a boy school. I fully understand that.

I only dont like ella IN hana kimi playing the role of a boy (so convincingly) ~ but other than that, i think she's great. She's a great actor to actually make me BELIEVE she's a tomboy, and also she's a great singer too. I have nothing against her at all.

alright, i do know that this topic is discussed over and over again, but then what is seriously the deal here? do some of you people have something againsn't tom boys or something? because i myself am a tom boy but then i dress up here and there. just because she has short hair makes her look boyish? then explain to me about Sammi Cheung, she has short hair. does that make her look like a tomboy? how about mirimia or whatever her bloody name is.

just because of the appearance from the outside, does not change the persons personality and feelings on the inside. so stop judging from the outside only and look at her shining and glowing personality. that is why i find her so compatable with Wu Zun not because i am a fan of her and him, is because in the short amount of time they were filming, she hit it off with him from the very start, she changed him to be more out there, more happy and more crazy. unlike before when he was more stiff and conservative.

I do agree with you but then i must point out several things that are wrong with your posts.

1. your capitalization. must you really capaitalize the whole post to make it stand out and angry? personally as i stated i do agree with what you have to say, but then try to be more discrete and mature about it. the way you handled it was slightly immature like a little kid crying for candy.

2. you should really read through the entire thread before you make claims that "WE ALL" think that they are not a compatable couple. from what i see, its only a few. while the others are defending that they do have chemistry.

They look cute individually but I don't really think they are cute together...
I liked the first few episodes of HK but after a while Ella's 'shocked' face which I think was cute at first seemed quite irritating.. So I kinda lost interest in HK... =S I don't really think their looks are compatible with each other but maybe their personalities do and that's why CE fans love them?? 0_o But I have nothing against them (I like both Fahrenheit and SHE)..

I don't see a need to dislike Ella because she is tomboyish. The character in Hana Kimi is SUPPOSED to act like a guy! Honestly, other than Ella I really don't see any other actresses who are suitable. I was glad that she was picked to play this role though. Well, I can't see how that COLOR or any mags can not publish pictures of C&E together, it is also a way of promotion their series. Even if you didn't like the pics or the series, the production company would want them to have promo pics. Even if people don't like seeing it, it makes you notice it, right.... so seeing it, will make you think of the series as well

ok, not trying to be biased here, but i have an increadibly huge admiration for tomboys. to me, they seem so much more real and not fake. just because one was born a girl, doesn't mean that they can't gain some personality traits of a boy. and personally, i think tomboys normally have a MUCH better figure than girly girls. tomboys are usually very modest people, for they hide their beauty with baggy clothes and jeans. they don't care how others look at them, thus having confidence in themselves and are happy with who they are. i'm not saying ALL tomboys are like them, but the majority, because i've met a lot of tomboys in my lifetime and they are all really amazing people.
like Ella, she has a GREAT figure, if any of you say so otherwise , i can guarentee that i won't believe you. when she dresses up in tight clothes for once and in dresses, you can see how sexy she really is. if any other 'normal' girls had a body like hers, they would probably wear skimpy and slutty clothes everyday just to show off their great curves. but Ella's different, she hides her outer beauty and lets us know her inner beauty first!! that's why Ella fans are all so loyal, because we don't like her for her looks and body at first glance, we fell in love with her from her personality first, and THEN we got to know her physical and outer beauty. if you sometimes imagine Ella with long hair, i swear it'll have a completely different result. she'll look even more beautiful. and just for the record, why won't you just photoshop all the other long haired beauties in this entertainment circle and make their hair as short as Ella's??? i swear that half of them won't look as good as Ella in short hair!!!!
no offence, but i feel sorry for Chun. i can swear that 88% of his fans, 95% of them being girls, they were attracted to him by ONLY his looks. most of them still only support him for his looks even now!!! but only some got to know his personality afterwards and loved him even more. i don't know about you guys, but if i were him and my fans only liked me for my looks, then i would feel VERY unstable. because people age and we can't stay pretty forever, one of these days, Chun's gonna be OLD and won't look as hot as he does today. that's exactly why handsome boy celebs must avoid letting their relationships to be exposed as much as they can. because once the public knows that their not single anymore, they'll loose half of their fans. it's a horrible risk.
and for those of you that said Ella and Chun's personalities match, but not their looks, then please let me defend this cruel reason. i agree with you that RuiXi's expressions may seem irritating at times, but you know what? that's exactly what the director asked of. and yes, even if it was supposed to be like that, it gets on your nerves sometimes. but Ella has gained weight during that time in filming Hanakimi, because she was overwhelmed by a lot of stress. at first glance, you would think that there's no way someone as handsome and good-looking as Chun can go with THAT. but come on!! everybody gains fat once in a while!!! and did you guys see how Ella looked at the golden bells award and the recent mandarin awards with Andy Lau??? even without make-up, these days, she looks super awesome. again, i'm not being biased here. she's lost a lot of weight, but not purposely, it's because of her health problems and again, stress.
i see her and Chun in color magazines too, and i have to say it's one of the reasons why i love them, it's one of the proofs that they LOOK cute together. maybe in Hanakimi, it was too much to ask for everybody to say they look cute. but you have to admit, they DO look compatible on their looks AND personality.

i have the same feeling..they are more of brother and sister playful type to me..doesn't erally give me that 'oh..so sweet..awww' feel..at least i found Chun giving me more of a couple feel with Ariel than with Ella..i mean i like Chun and Ella..both are very good actors/actress..but just i dont think they match..just my opinion~~

yes i understand, but that long post was also my opinion as well. i know that not everyone likes Chun and Ella together, and i know that this is a critics hang out box. i'm not saying it's wrong to dislike them. but it's not wrong to defend them either. and i LIKE typing all those words, i don't care if they don't change anyone's minds. but if they do, then that's great. i'm only doing this to clear some things out, i don't expect that it'll change your minds. besides, some of the people here are talking crap about Ella and i can't have that. you can't expect this whole thread to have people saying injustice things right? there has to be some that defends AND critisizes.

I don't think CE look good together, and if you wanted me to justify my decision, then i guess they didnt look good together in Hana Kimi BECAUSE i dont like the idea of 2 guys getting together and to me, ella was very convincing as a guy in hana kimi. The end. (and yes i know she's a girl. still, doesnt change the way i perceived her character and her now - and 'sides, im not a ella-hater o__o; so.. yeah. that wasnt meant to be offending her in any way, she's a good actress, i cant help it.)

I don't think most of the posts here are offensive, only some reasons posted are not generally tolerable. I'd say, it's up to how people see CE as a couple. The opinions are rather extreme seeing that Ella's image often gives people the wrong thought about her.

I am impressed that Ella was able to pull off her role as a guy in Hana Kimi, however, that still doesn't change the fact that she is not a lesbian in nature. Although in the show it's like two 'guys' being placed together, I'm not bothered by it. I could still see their chemistry, how Ella got embarrassed every now and then when Chun was there. And how Chun tried to protect her whenever the silly her got into trouble.


Criticizing is not necessarily rude. If you were referring to Rin.'s post, I don't see any rudeness in his/her post, and instead, he/she gets YOUR rudeness back in return. How fair is that? I don't think you wholeheartedly respect other people's views although you stressed that a few times.

I'm apologised if my words is too harsh and rude to all of you here... i admit i'm also a human that make mistakes...me myself not saying that i'm too perfect... it's just that the 1st page comments is very rude... i'm biased with them saying like that...other comments i can accept it, but they(others, on the 1st page) insulting Ella very rudely!!! I can understand that Ella have to act as a guy in Hana Kimi coz her character is being like that... but need they say that Ella is a lesbian?? i just can't see why they should say that Ella is a lesbian?? To me, if they hate Ella so much, must they treat Ella in such a way?? Well, if you would have worded your posts properly in the first place then there would not have been so many arguments. I do agree with your point however. I find that the reason that CE is not supported because of Ella, mainly criticized by WuZun fans. I have no implication of talking about ALL WuZun fans, but some are like that. It's kinda unfair in my opinion. Some extreme fans are actually jealous that Ella gets to act with WuZun and they bash Ella for the most lame reasons.

to me, i hardly find your post "harsh" i find it more rude and disrespectful more then anything. you are also human, and so are we, but going one direction and then switching off and goign the entirely opposite way more then one time is a pretty big error in my opinion.

so what if the first page comment is rude. doesn't mean you have to be immature and fire back at them. its still there opinion in the matter. everyone is bias here and there whether they admit it or not, but for these situation you should take a neutral standpoint and see it from 2 ways. feel free to ask questions and pin point what is there REAL reason for hating the pair. not so much the surface dirt.

they say Ella is a lesbian because they dont know her, they dont like her always short hair. they don't like how she doesn't dress up like a doll, they don't like her for being all over the place. there are many reasons. and plus what? her voice is a little low? hell. just to throw that one in as well.

but to true fans, it should not concern us, because we love her for who she is. she isn't "acting cute" in front of the camera or trying her hardest to be the most prettiest...she knows her flaws and accepts them. that is what some of those who "hate" need to realize.

yea...its kinda annoying for me to hear "oh, ella and chun would make the best couple!". its only because they've been on hana kimi together and it was a hit show. once chun gets into another drama was another girl, they'll be like "oh...____and chun!" and it won't be ella anymore.

WUZUN and ARIEL are annoying nor do you see anyone saying WUZUN and ANGELA are annoying.

i think its more of a factor that ELLA doesn't look like a "girly girl" that bothers people because the fans all feel that WUZUN deserves a "girly girl" or even the fan, for a girlfriend.

i do feel that both sides are wrong for even thinking of imagining what his future GF or partner should be. but fans will be fans.
