He's the health inspector, plays his role well, the strict type. I like him in ancient series better though.

Is he going to pair up with any of the main housewives?

but it would be weird if it happens, because they're all married including john .. and they all have their own kids and family .. i think not .. i think its just represented as an enemy of the housewives hehe

44? can't tvb replace him with somebody better? john looks like he's 50 something instead of just 44. I don't like john chiang... half for really unfriendly and mean ugly look and second becuase i have seen way to many series of him playing villain that i find it really hard to accept a transiton of him playing someone good. I also find the role he plays to be really annoying.

Well he is the ENEMY so he should be annoying. Gosh because he played a villian role you cannot accept him. Sheren and her husband are stable, Cecilia's husband will cheat and Kiki's husband will cheat big time. I think the writer will step out of the box and allow one of the housewives to remarry possibly John who is a great man and needs a wife to take care of a young daughter. Also I think that Kenneth's wife's secret boyfriend may and could be Cecilia's husband, but maybe not chances are slim, but possible.

john will be the fourth 'housewife' because on how he look down on housewives and shereen has dare him to become a housewife....i saw in the theme video john is 'ko si lai' (Godzilla reminds me of kevin cheng in life art where his sister called him d same as well)

Oh i c .. i always thought it was that the wife left or passed away. I never knew she couldnt take care of the child thats why. I see it makes more sense though cos the childs so small and they tried to avoid it during the conversation.

but john couldnt take care of his daughter at first .. but now he is trying too ..

wasn't even gonna watch this serie but now that i know John is in it..i'm so gonna watch it lol

This is the first time I like John Chiang in a series.. Gao Sir is hilarious, and all the lessons he learns from Mo and the others are really funny.

I have a feeling he will be fall for one of the housewives, maybe Mo or Fei Ngor.

Well since Fei Ngor's husband is gone now, it might happen .. but i think john is closer with Sheren .. but i actually hope John is not going to be paired up with anyone, because there are already pairs been made, which im satisfied with ^^

From the opening credits Fei Ngor's chasing after her husband after he's out with some other girl.. so maybe. But yeah, I agree that it's good if none of the families break up.

i dont like him in general that much. he fits for his char i think. i find him kinda annoying at times. his voice is weird to me

John Chiang is gonna have some feelings towards Sheren later on.. and I think Sheren has some feelings towards John too. I think in the end John hides the feelings and just put Sheren as his best best friend so that he won't ruin Sheren and Michael's relationship.

John's so nice to the family and Sheren! Hmmm he'll probably start falling for her soon. But idk whats going to happen between Sheren and Michael?....

^ Yeah he kinda did fall for Sheren, but i guess it was more of Support than Admire? I'm not really sure. But yea in the end, they're just good friends, and Sheren wasn't really ready to start anything with him and go on vacay with him since she still loves Joe

yeh, more of a support me reckon. But it was good that he was helping so much with ah mung as she needed support.

I thought that John did a pretty good job in this series. I didn't like it though that he fell in love with Sheren. I would have liked it if he just saw her as a friend.

i thought he played the character pretty well, except that i think he's a bit old to say he's 44 with a 3 year old daughter. he looks more like 50+ with a 15+ daughter.. other than that i think he's did a good job, u kno the mean strict type....

Oh man. I'm still on ep 10 or so and I think I'm falling for him...lol

i lie johns characte rin this series, in the first few episodes he seems realyl irratating and arragont but as the seres goes on he becomes nicer and bonds well with his daughter

I actually look up to his character in this series. I mean a man as a see lai, the first time I have ever seen. He sacrificed his job to look after his daughter. I don't think a lot of people will be able to do this. He really cares about his daughter.

I like his transition from profession oriented man to a male "see lai" and even picked up on those little housewife 'principles/habits' like discounts, etc. lol

John Chiang once again gives another very good performance and this is one of his more unique roles.
