Michelle in "the Brink of law" or Susanna in HOG??

Having seen "the Brink of Law" and Michelle in it.. she was very good in the series so was Shirley Yeung for her evil role in "brink of law"

As i am only on chapter 6.. i cant comment on susanna's level of evilness..as all i can see for now are her levels of jealously and her bad tempers. But having read the chinese newspapers and other forums.. i hear she is doing very well in protraying her evil role - HOG is the talk of the town lately especially the scenes with LSK and Susanna

Michelle in BOL portrayed a true evil characters to the point where she willing to kill everyone who interfere in her stuff.

Susanna all she do is whine, whine and more whine in front of Ha-yu to the point he listen to everything she says... she evil trying to break down the family.But I guess it become an annoying character.

Well Michelle in BOL did a better job... it was pure evilness for sure compared to Susanna which is more whining and crying instead.

If there's an award for best villain today .. Michelle has my support and will vote for her!

My vote goes to Michelle too! Although many people said that they portray two completely different characters I list them both under the category of "evil". Michelle's character in BOL was just excellent, her eyes and gestures send shivers down your back. But Susanna's character is plain annoying with her whiney voice. Some of her acts are just plainly disgusting like getting together with Linda's brother, I was like "Ew..."

Michelle cause I think Michelles evil is the real kind of evil that not everyone can see but Susannas's is so obvious making it the stupid kind of evil..

Michelle is a cool villain, susanna is an annoying villain. Both did an awesome job!

i recon michelle did a better job. Susanna is really starting to get on my nerves...i hate it how shes always complaining until she gets things her way!! Michelle on the other hand was TRUELY evil and the good thing about her is that she wasnt annoying. After watching BOL it made me like her even more because she was so convincing as a villain.

Yes I agree Michelle is a really good villain and Suzanna is a really hatred villain, both portrays it well but everyone can tell Suzanna is bad but not Michelle.

yeah she is a good villain. suzanna is good too but i think michelle fits right. she just fits.

susanna's voice suits a whiney person so she plays the job well
but she's not one of those truely evil one
those that do real big business and not just sleeping with someone for money

Haha. I agree with everyone. I think Michelle portrayed a better villain character in The Brink of Law. In that series, she has no limit of whats shes doing. She does all sort of evil things as well as killing someone. In Heart of Greed, Suzanna was always whining. She complains on everything even if it is a small problem. She tries to rip and separate the family.

Michelle was the better villain. She hid it without portraying it and she was classy. Susanna was very annoying and at the end of the ep you just want to skip her parts. She is unreasonable and you just don't understand how she can be so bad and yet remain all 40 eps. There is totally no sympathy for Susanna, but Michelle she was evil and yet she had her reasons and soft spots. She was also a good mother and too bad she had a bad husband. Susanna only had to scream and fight, while she did not show the level of depth that Michelle had.

i agree susanna only knows how to whine. michelle keeps quiet and kills someone without anyone knowing and she is so cool about it.

Both are good. however, you guys have to keep in mind that both of them belong to a different category of "villain". So, it is abit unfair to compare both of them and we cant say who is better than who...their characters are different afterall. susanna belongs more to a "xiu yan" type whereas michelle does not. and having susanna's role actually make people hate her more than michelle's character.

in conclusion, both are good...and we cant really compare who is better than who because their roles are just different. they are different types of villain.

i think my vote goes to sussana. she's making me really hate her in this series.

i would have to say for now ..its Michelle too. In BOL, she was playing a motherly figure yet was also the mastermind behind all the killings she's done if people got in her way. The plot of BOL did revolve around such a deeper storyline of undercover gambling

for i think Susanna, she's well done too to win the audience vote in most hated character in HOG cos of her jealousy

i dont noe the lady's name but i the series she is the second wife of the family... she protray a really evil character in the series... but i think she acts really good...

hats off to Michelle Yim.. i think she is one of the best villains ever... when i was watching BOL i got chills down my back.. Susanna is alright.. but i would classify her as annoying, in ur face evil.. but Michelle is more subtle..

michelle is really a cool and calm villain..she has the power to order people to do the dirty work while susanna is just a plain b*t*h who does all the petty work just for money...who knows she might get cheated by henry in return...funny how nobody except her son listened to watever she said

Michelle definitly did a better job. she could kill with her eyes, while all Susanna does is scream and yell with her whiny voice.

i'm up to ep. 17, and I would have to agree with those who said michelle portrayed the better evil character in Brink than Susanna does in HOG. Michelle's Tong Gam Chi was truely evil because she was able to wear her two faces quite convincingly, and she plotted to kill anyone who go in her way. Basically it was don't get on her bad side or else you'll be swimming with the fishes. As for Susanna's character, her evilness only ranges from plotting how to turn the family against each other in order to get the money. She does more whinning and screaming than murder and revenge.

Have to say, these two ladies do an excellent job at protraying their evil character. Their level of evilness are not the same because one is extremely evil who kills people while the other is not truely evil, just evil in the fact that she's selfish and greedy. It's hard to choose because it's two different characters we're looking at.

Something I just realise is that not only do Michelle and Susanna both play outstanding evil roles, but they also play an amazing mother who die. Michelle plays a very caring mother in Into Thin Air but dies in the middle of the series. Susanna also protrays a very loving mother in Glittering Days and she also dies. I have to say these two actresses are very talented. From acting as a nice person who everyone feel sympathy for into a totally different person who everyone hate.

I would say michelle because she was the master mind of all those killings in BOL which makes her truly evil. Susanna in HOG is just a annoying character who acts greedy and selfish which makes her evil but not as evil as Michelle

i really like susanna in glittering days her story was so sad. she worked so hard to bring her son up then she had to die. and michelle in into thin air was also very sad she finally gets to be with her children again then she had to die

sussana is so whingy i really hate her character its so annoy that bothers alot while watching the series

I thought both of them were pretty good, but I thought Michelle was more evil in THe Brink of Law. I mean she was killing people that would get in her way, but I don't think Susanna would kill people even if they were in her way, I think Susanna would just use money to bring the people out of her way. Susanna would just bribe people like Tavia's family and Louis Yuen. But Michelle would kill peoeple like how she wanted to kill Steven Ma but was unsuccessful.

michelle totally ruled in every series she's in!
she was a loving mom in TA; a very cute & caring one whom i wished i have one like her xD
in ITA, again, a loving mom and when she donated her eyes ( was it the eyes? i forgot lol) to patrick before she died, omg i swear i cried x(
& in TBOL, SHE TOTALLY RULED AS A VILLIAN! her eyes can act, she doesnt even have to speak.
lastly in HOG, though her character isnt a major role, she still portrayed it well, everyone could see that she is trying to pull the family together and save it from susanna kwan's plots.
Michelle's evilness can be seen right in her eyes in TBOL but i could only see ignorance in susanna's eyes in HOG and her role wasnt that evil. i agree with many, she just whine and whine every time she wants her things to get done unlike michelle in TBOL, who KILLS anyone who get in her way.
i cant wait to watch HOG2 in which michelle plays a EVIL role or rather susanna's role.

I think michelle is more evil. Susanna made me hate her because she is just annoying. Michelle brought evilness to another level where we don't hate her for being a villain. GO MICHELLE

I would go with Michelle (And Shirley ) in BOL. She really did a good job potraying the role of an evil woman, filled with hatred, but love for her children. Basically, all she did was to help her sons I suppose Or maybe for money, ANYWAY.

I agree, all Susanna does in HOG is whine and whine infront of Ha Yu, but Susanna still does a good job somehow

If you all hate a character it just proves that he/she has done his/her job well.

This isn't even a competiton. Michelle in the BoL:

"Give him the road to hell!" -End of episode 1
"I'll make that cop feel 10 times the pain he caused you!" -When she wanted the cop dead for jailing her brother.
"I will have him dead." -When she wanted Ron Ng to die.

Sussana...is a whiny b*tch here. I still like her though. But honestly, Michelle wins by a landslide in terms of portraying a villian. *sigh* I wish Michelle was the villian in this series....
