The last episode with the real ending
no one posted up the spoilers for the last episode, so i guess i might do it then!

[spoiler]Athlon was correct, It was YOYO who killed Leila's brother AND NOT kenneth. However, there was one part of the scene where it made like kenneth was a villain! b/c he locked sheren, cecila , kiki and leila in a storage room all tied up.

Its a happy ending, b/c everyone ends up with someone , except John (feel sorry for him..)
cecila n bill quickly get back together (remarry) and im glad that bill learns the truth that the sickness came from him! and not cecila.. Fala finally confessed the truth to them at the airport.. with her horrific acting skills.. (wasn't nicely done )

Michael Tse gets back his wife by singing a song about her during his competition.

Kiki's husband finally dumps that b*t*h and goes back to his family.. kiki doesn't end up in jail

kenneth ended up in jail, 1 year, he comes back out and looks for leila .. they reunite:)

and i must say leila was so pretty in her dress at the ending:)

why does ken still have to go jail? he hasn't done anything.. is it bc he didn't confessed? .. sorrie for being a pain but watching this without understanding hte language... could someone clarify for me ... who has a disease? Fala?

why did Yoyo killed Leila's brother and why did Ken still go to jail for kidnapping Leila, Kiki, Cecilia and Sheren? I haven't watch the ending yet.

I think Kenneth has to go to prison because....

He knew Leila's brother was killed by Yoyo but he didn't report to the police & hid the truth!
Besides, helping Yoyo to bury the dead body secretly was a criminal offense!

Yoyo killed Leila brother ...

[spoiler] Because of the fact they had a one night stand, he kept bothering and so afterward everyday, until Kenneth came back home they fought then Yoyo scared of Kenneth being hurt she stabbed him. [/spoiler]


I must say that the ending is so way unrealistic... during the whole drama plot and everything was solid then the ending everything 360 degrees change to rush the happy ending!

Some thing should have been kept as a bad ending, like Kenneth should have deserved more than a year of prison and Leila not forgiven him, who would in the freaking world forgive someone who have helped killed her/his brother? Helping hiding true story & the body is still a huge criminal charge, but anyway it's TVB endings can't expect much!

The ending was quite rushed, as expected. The complete Yoyo's storyline was actually not even needed in this series, the Sze Lai's problems are interesting enough.

As for the ending, there are just too many loose ends that they tried to tie up in one double-ep...

First off, the yoyo's storyline. Who would call all their husband and leave sort of dying message if you could just ask them to come and rescue you, or at least call the police?
Why should kenneth tie them up anyway? He could have shown them the vid directly.
The suitcase. There was no need to dig it up after all...

At the end, they were talking about opening extra stores, but declined it. Why? they could easily hire others to help now? Or make it some kind of franchise so they don't have to do anything themselves.

Ah well, guess they just want to keep it a happy ending. Overall, still an highly enjoyable series.

They sure rushed to the ending quick with everything developing in the last couple of episodes. I feel it was too rushed. I am glad it will be a happy ending. I dont understand about Fala and Bill? DId they really sleep with each other that night and Fala gave him the disease?

i bet they will make a sequel of this because of high ratings. but at least leila and kenneth reunite at the end.

I didn't really feel like the ending was rushed. lol. I thought they tied things up pretty nicely.

Fala didn't sleep wth Bill. She infected a towel with the disease and tricked Bill into using it. I'm not sure if this can really happen in real life.

I think the see nais and Leila probably weren't thinking straight when they called the husbands for help. I thought it was because there were soo many people trying to talk at once and they were scared so just started blabbing and forgot to tell them where they were. Maybe they thought they had more time but the phone ran out of batteries. hahaha.

Kenneth tied them up because he didn't want them to go around telling people without knowing the truth right? That part was set up to make Kenneth look like the killer though. I mean, he didn't have to look so evil or anything. He could have just asked them to stay there and he'll explain later or brought them all back to his house. I guess TVB needed some suspense though.

Agree with the franchise thing. They could have still opened more stores. Didn't quite understand that part.

The suitcase..yeah, it would have been better if Kenneth didn't dig it up. He left a huge whole and it was soo obvious. He should just went there and got them to leave or something.

Fala's confession wasn't really done nice by her.

At the end, John had another see nai pursuing him. I thought it was nice that they gave him someone at the end even though he didn't get Sheren.

I thought that it was reasonable that Leila can forgive Kenneth. Kenneth didn't kill her brother, Yoyo did. Kenneth may have helped bury the corpse and hide the truth but he didn't kill him. Yoyo felt so guilty that she suicided and Kenneth almost killed himself too. Besides, Leila had a whole year to think things through. She knows that Kenneth only wanted to protect Yoyo and, after falling in love with Leila, to protect Leila from the pain of knowing her best friend killed her husband. She also knows that Kenneth loves her and I'm pretty sure that Leila loves him too. And Kenneth did end up turning himself in. I don't know, I felt like Kenneth was also a victim of the whole thing. He kinda got dragged into it, he had to help the woman he loves. I feel like the earlier description of Kenneth by the see nais that he was the "perfect husband" is really accurate. He was willing to do anything to protect his wife and still loves her even after she cheated on him. So I was glad they had a good ending.

I guess I'm in the minority that it was a good ending.

I haven't seen the last ep yet, but reading the spoilers =) I like how everything was in place. Great ending. Hmm, i'll have to see for myself if it seemed rushed or not..but it doesn't seem like it was since they all got the divorce already and all thats left is Yoyo's death mystery..soo the last ep should be about getting back together and revealing the death thingy..doesn't seemed rushed to me =) I guess they didnt want to spoil the suspense until the last ep. since if they did in the previous ep, then who would want to watch the last ep?

This was an awesome series!! It was NO RUSH for me, thats just my opinion! I thought what they did was at the right moment so everyone will be looking forward to episode 21! If they revealed everything in previous episodes than episode 21 would be a waste.

i thought the ending "would" be a rush after watching episode 20 because so much problems didn't get settled yet.

I'm soo happy that they all got back together with this husbands and it was cute at the end when Kenneth came back and Him and Leila were together!! Overall, this series was AWESOME & it was no rush for me either.

I love the ending too! A really nice series and i enjoyed watching it! Aww i wish it was more than 21 episodes, I would have loved it if it was longer since it was funny and mysterious to watch! It was good that all the couples went back to each other in the end but if I were Kiki wouldn't have gone back with him that fast, even though he knew he was wrong.

TVB always have lame and grossly gone happy endings, it's like HK law or something. I'd not rather see happy engings in every series. In real life, not everything is happy endings and l think the younger audience should learn that life is freaking unfair and difficult.Is this supposed to make the audience feel better? I think we should think for ourselves and TVB thinks their audience are retarded "see lai" anyways, so happy endings are always easier to do.

looking back at the whole series.. it fail to impress me...i quess the reason it got popular bc it appealed to alot of housewives in hk..but overall as a younster like myself.. i only watched it for leila.. i found the whole story rather bland and boring.....back to my korean series.. lolz

Epi.21 is ok.......happy ending for the 3 housewives & Kenneth & Leila!
Don't think it's too rushed since all major characters were talked about. The 3 housewives united with their husbands.
I like the scene when Michael was performing on stage. How funny he changed the song "Monica" & thanked his wife Sheren for all these years of hard work ....taking care of the family. So lovely that Sheren seemed to take in all those praises & stayed on stage with him for the whole song.

The mystery of Yoyo's death was solved although it was a bit too dramatic esp. on Kenneth's part.
How he tied up the housewives & later showed them the video that Yoyo left behind.....

Another part I found not convincing was the scene when Fala appologised for her wrongs & how she used the towel to make Derek catching the disease. Think it didn't make too much sense unless the towel was heavily soiled with Fala's disease! To me that was the worst part of the series! The notion was disgusting!

I also feel sorry for John who was left alone since Sheren went back to her husband! He was in fact a very nice guy & a good neighbour!

I really liked the ending. A good ending. And I am glad that joe and his wife are back together. Specially liked the part when he sings for his wife. Not rush at all.

It was one of TVB's infamous wrap everything up in one episode endings to me.

What I didn't get was what kind of disease did Angela give Bill? They keep mentioning it was a std and when Hillary went to see the doctor it sounded serious but at the end she was like "forget about everything" I would be really mad.

Yoyo killing Leila's brother was not what I expected but good turnaround I guess since it gives Leila a chance to forgive Kenneth (he wasn't really the one who killed him) and be together with him.

Good to see a very happy ending for everyone and back together, really thought Sheren was going to divorce Michael or something thank goodness they didn't.

it was an alright ending...not that rushed but a bit exaggerated at bits like kenneth tying up everyone

I was okay with the ending...since this was a series that you probably know that it will be a happy ending. I didn't think it was rushed, i just felt sorry for John's character but then again i guess one of the "see lai" likes him at least that was what it was implying. I am happy that Kenneth and Leila ended up together also.

The ending was okay. It wasn't too rushed, but I consider it a rushed ending none the same. Although in this series, all the loose ends were tied up nicely. But there wasn't enough explanation for everything that happened. More details would have been nice for some things.

The store that the housewife opened, they wanted to keep it to themselves, since their products are all homemade, they would have to keep making them at home to replenish the stocks. They can have others make it for them, but their stocks would only be so much. And opening another store would put more stress into their lives since they'd need to take care of more things. And the rich housewives even shop at their stores, wanting fruits, beauty products and jams.

Kenneth I think got some sympathy points from the magistrate when he turned himself in. Because he did it to keep Yoyo's name clean of charges, he still helped bury the body and cover up the truth. So he went to jail 1 year. 1 year is a lot to be in prison, and not a nice place to be in of course, seperated from family and friends, and he had found love in Leila, and he had to go to prison. So that 1 year would be quite long for him. And I think 1 year is fair enough, he didn't kill Leila's brother, Yoyo did. And Leila waited for him after the 1 year, and so they can finally be together.

I don't know how Cecilia and her husband would combat the disease that he contracted. Fala was totally crappy in her confession at the airport. At least she'd be a changed person from than on. Kiki didn't go to jail because the other two housewives pleaded for her. Which is good. But Kiki's husband, he was a knob head. LOL... He should be punished more, but I guess that not be the case. Michael and his wife, happy together in the end. Although his group was... well, he got to dress up and dance and do what he loves in the end... All well and good I suppose...

It had a happy ending. Kenneth came out of jail and he and Leila have a happy ending. All the housewives got their husbands back. A very happy ending. I also thoughtthe ending was a bit rushed maybe becauses I wanted to see Kenneth and Leila a wedding of something (totally my opinion). I mean they just hugged and that was it for Kenneth and Leila.
