What do you think about his character/performance?

I have the feeling that Joel is again playing those evil roles that cause many people to hate him badly. It's just like his role in A Change of Destiny...so evil and disgusted. But he is good at playing those roles...but I want to see him a play a nice guy for once.

Joel is Ben (2nd sis's husband)'s boss. He looks like those rich guy/player types.

He is the brother of Natalie! What a surprise! Think they are not in good term with each other! Can't wait to find out more about his family!

OMG i didn't know that he is the brother of Natilie in the show...but I thought it was weird how they were looking at each other when they first saw each other in the show, i knew they were related somehow. Hope he won't be csome evil person again...it would be nice seeing him be someone good for once.

His looks seemed to be better than "Glittering days" but yet his playboy character is still there!
Think he is suitable to act as a villain more!

For some reason, I dont like him....his image just make him seem too ham sup. Probably that's why he always get bad roles with tvb.

Still the bad buy character. hahaha. it suits his face really. he has such a devious, cunning and evil face.. he is a good choice for an evil character..but i think he should be given at least 1 or 2 chances of not being a bad guy...the more he plays evil characters the more people will hate him..like me, i start to get sick of his face already.

i hate when he plays the evil role, the despicable roles! i thought he was a good guy at first, but ..

when hes in a series, 99% of the time he is gonna play the evil character. they should change his role a bit. getting a lil old right now.

I like Joel Chan in the series despite he is playing a bad character like has been doing in most of his other series but I still like him. LOL. He isn't bad looking and I find his voice very different and special-not bad at singing too when he sang theme song with Steven Ma in Change of Destiny. Keep up the good work Joel- he would eventually gain popularity very soon!

I like Joel. His acting is pretty good...but he's always those evil/mean characters which makes him really annoying. TVB should give him a good role once in awhile.

he's always playing an evil person, or a asshole. i wonder y they do that to him. is it cuz he looks evil? personally, i think he's kinda attractive.. and he always play a rich person too!

he always seems to play like the evil roles.haha i think he's good at them though he has that look..hahah

I agree. He has many evil roles nowadays but I can't imagine him playing a role where he is good for some reason o.o

I think he can play a very nice good natured character, and yes he is kind of cute, good looking. His ending was... meh though. I think his character would totally be screwed over if the series kept going. He met that psycho woman. LOL.

I think he's quite good looking, and his acting was not too bad. Unfortunately his character was extremely dislikeable. Hopefully TVB will give him better roles in the future.

i think he has good chances to be "promoted" to heavier roles. tvb seem to be lacking in middle-age "bad" guys these days. but i do agree i'd love to see him in good roles but a bit tough since there are so many others on waiting line.

He was alright in this series, though I didn't care much for his character. I just thought he had the perfect ending with that lady, lol.

He may be getting the evil/bad character roles right now, but there's always the chance that he would be further promoted in the future and get better roles, ones where he doesn't portray despicable characters. Look at Joe Ma. He started out in bad/evil character roles. Now he portrays various characters, good and bad. So with hard work, and luck, Joel Chan could get promoted to leading man status.
