they said something like they would rather want the DBSK guys being gays or being together with the members and no girls can come into their life, etc... someone asked whether agreed or not~~
then i posted my opinion that i really didn't agree to what they wanted DBSK guys to be in the future...i posted that why didn't we just go on with life without caring so much about who would DBSK want to be then... bla bla bla~~

then the girls fans started to attack me by saying that i didn't respect them... of being the COUPLE2 fans... and said that i didn't like DBSK at all so don't even bother to stay on the forum~~~

i'm a big fan too just not agreeing with their idea that's all and because of that matter, they attacked me? that's super annoying~~

i don't understand why they really want to see their idols end up being gay???

Everyone of us here have our own idol... We love them and support them... Of course we want everyone knowing who we love and whom we're support to
But is it that necessary to show everyone that much... and distinguish yourself from other ppl???

I have already disliked twins.. Some of the fans made me even more irritated. There are many die hard zombie twins fans out there they would always go to the extreme in order to defend their idols, won't listen to anything other than 'twins are the best', bashing haters and more often a personal ones.

ELF. Definitely. I don't really read DBSK threads or news so i can't say anything about cassiopeia. Anyway, if you don't hear of any bashing it doesn't mean it isn't happening. To be precise, i don't hate all of ELF. I don't like the immature, unreasonable ELFs. This is just my point of view, but they come off as spoilt, annoying brats when i read about their escapades to bring about '13'. Man! Just accept it ya? Don't flame 2 innocent people believing that they will cause the downfall of your 'beloved suju oppas'.

I always read about cassiopeia and how ELF is tame compared to them. Wow.. I already think ELF is quite out of control already, how much worse can cassiopeia be?

but there is smth that I dont understand. Let's take the 2 biggest fanclub Cassiopiea and E.L.F. They went overboard many times until it can hurt others, like this girl that wasnt mentally stable but with ELF constant bashing on her, she kill herself. I mean isnt it scary that we get to that point?
but what shocked me the most is how these idols dont react, did they ever like ask the fans to control? I know they need the fans but I find it selfish to just let them do wth they want cause they spend their money on your stuffs.

^ Yeah, I remember that ELF incident. It was pretty sad. They drove one unstable girl to commit suicide, threatening her and sending her anti-messages just because SHE POSED IN A PICTURE with Kangin?!! That made me look at fan bases from a whole new perspective. And lets not forget that DBSK and SNSD incident - bashing each over a CF. Seriously, come on guys...stuff like that are so stupid.

Okies, it's not good to judge two whole...entertainment circles on this but japanese and korean music. They are way overrated. Especially when talking about Chinese (a lot of times Hong Kong) music people make it sound like Korean and Japanese music are heaps better. But I don't find it particularly better, I do admit that the artists are better performers but it's only because they train them like the army. And the people will act like they are SOOOO much better like there are NO talented singers elsewhere.

Also, then they will say how the music is soo good, yea well, it's not like they composed it! And if you listen to it, everything's all pretty generic. Love songs, ballads, the dance fast-ish songs. They're all the same. SAMEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

sigh, but I do not completely hate them, there are several artists that I do like from the korean and japanese music scene but not everyone from there is made of gold and musical genius.

Charmaine Sheh is a highly promoted actress in TVB. not only is TVB promoting her but her fans love to promote her too. Charmaine banners everywhere. that is fine to a certain extent. however wen fans get too out of hand and not willing to accept the flaws of their idols then that gts really annoying. fans think that Charmaine is the best. ok to them she is the best but these fans cannot accept the fact that Charmaine's acting is not the best in TVB, she is not the prettiest actress and she is not that talented.

most Charray fans love her and Raymond together. this is totally acceptable. the annoying thing is that fans dnt seem to like Raymond being with other actresses and diss other actresses. anyone related to Raymond in anyway becomes a target. these people like LInda Chung who is the latest matching couple with Raymond has suffered a lot of bad comments. this is rather unfair to fans of linda and raymond.

I don't bash Selina or Ella nor do I pretend to be another person's fan when the person I really like is Hebe. And I don't push Hebe's threads up (it's mostly because I can't access the webbie for some reason) in HIM forums and will not flame other fans for pushing their posts up. And I do not get why other fans wanna bash Ella cuz she's a really nice person who leaves really nice and caring messages for us fans. And besides, she was the one who helped to delete the supposedly horrid messages that someone left for Hebe on her bdae. All of them, one by one. If that's not an example of nice, I don't know what is. So don't dislike ALL of Hebe's fans or Hebe because of a few fans.

as for the fans of artistes who freaks me out..

- fan who think that their idols are God.

eg. ZZ fans.

Think that ZZ's God's gift to men. Could do no wrong. Can insist that everything are just rumours and then in the same breath hate a certain person and flame him/her cause the rumours said that this certain person hurt/insulted/dumped ZZ.

eg. SHE fans.

Overly defensive of their idols sometimes. Insult their idols own bandmates just to defend their idols. Tends to have illusions of being with the artiste, like being together as a couple. This does not apply to all of the fans, just a few, but enough to freak me out anyway. I love SHE.. But this is just a bit too over the line between a fan and artiste relationship for me.

-think that their favoured couple pairing is the best and flame other couple pairings

eg. RM fans.

Totally hates other couple pairings with Mike. Other than those, "Mike is better off with Raine", "RM Roxz" which are still acceptable, they go so far as to insult other people pairing with Mike. "XXX suxz", "No chemistry with Mike" and so on.. And I have seen comments like this on not only Hebe but other actresses that Mike had acted with. And the other actresses and Mike looked chummy to me, and really quite nice together too.. But the fans insist on otherwise and bashes the other pairings unfairly.

eg. Ariel-Joe fans

I have no idea what they call Ariel and Joe fans.. I shall dub them as AJ... If Joe acts with another female lead.. Then there are like scenes where they actually have chemistry and stuff like that.. AJ fans would go.. "Oh, Joe's just being nice to her.. He doesn't really want to do that.." or "Joe wouldn't do that to his LP (Ariel in ISWAK/TKA).. It's just a job thing.." And so on.. Which makes me wonder.. Joe did not say he didn't want to do this or that.. And he never did say that he liked Ariel more than anyone can see.. So what makes them assume that they are really together? Or not together.. Or what makes them think that Joe and the other actress really didn't "lai dian"?? I mean, it's really up to Joe.. But poor guy (like Mike) can't even choose who he likes and must let the fans dictate his preference..

These are just some examples of fans that freak me out.. (There are more, really.) Other than the ZZ fans, which I really super dislike and make me super dislike ZZ even more.. I don't really dislike the rest of them.. Cept they do freak me out. Like I like couple pairings too but I definitely wouldnt flame others cause of my favoured pairing. There is a marked difference between thinking that your favored pairing is the best, and insulting other pairings because you think that your favourite pairing is the best. Just like there's a difference between how you think your favourite artiste is the best and how you bash other artistes because you think your favourite artiste is the best. That said, I know that not all the fans of the artistes are like that.. I know of some normal SHE fans.. Mike fans... Joe fans.. And so on.. (But havent seen a rational ZZ fan/RM fan/AJ fan yet.. But that doesn't mean there isn't any.. Oh wait. I think there are rational ZZ fans in the Critics hangout.. LOLx. But have been encountering sooooooo many irrational and delusional ZZ fans that I actually forgot about them..) Anyway, I try not to hate the artiste (other than ZZ) cause of their fans cause I know they can't control or discipline their fans anyway. (And most of them don't even know that their fans are being mean.)

I don't hate any artists based on their fans, but i do find some fanbase overwhelming. The two i have to pick is ELF and Cassiopiea. I know that not all ELF and Cassiopiea are rude and unreasonable. There is of course really nice fans in ELF and Cassiopiea. But overall these two fanbase can get a little sensitive and silly. Some fans can take things too seriously. There's has to be a limit when its comes to the fans commitment to their fav artists.

People have different opinions. I don't hate stars because of their fans. I can't really blame fans who are overprotective with their idols, I just don't like those crazy girl fans who are too blinded with their admiration. Those fans who think their idols are PERFECT and that they don't make mistakes. They try to cover up their idol's mistakes. There are not specific fans, but i did encounter many. I believe every celebrity have atleast one of those. And the way they compare their idols to other celebrities is so sickening. If they're so proud of their idol, how come they have to compare and say nasty things?

For example, F4 vs (blah blah) ->F4 fan speaking
I've never seen F4 fans here in AF say things like "this band is ugly" or "this band sucks". As much as possible, we try to point out the strengths of F4 but never insult nor impose the weaknesses of other bands. I'm not saying F4 fans are nice, it's just that i rarely see F4 fans do it nowadays. Again, there's no specific fans, please don't assume. I've just encountered many of those. I don't hate the star, and i don't generalize the fans of those stars too, just that i hate the attitude of those people who do that.

well i don't hate lee hom in fact i love his music but sometimes some of his fans that i know rili getting on my nerves! i dunno y! esp if they hate jay chou. i was like its ok 2 hate jay chou. c'mon it is a normal things 2 hate people so i just dun mind about it. but they always keep saying bout how good is lee hom compare 2 jay ! i was like can u stop, now u making me hate lee hom when in fact i thought that he is so damn talented! haish maybe it is me who always met with the unfrenly lee hom fans!

This is actually considered a normal reaction u noe. At least there is no insults or criticisms of other pairings that are included.

I dislike the CE (chun and ella pairing) because of how overboard the fans get. One criticism may lead to a possible pages and pages defence from the fans. Some are nice while some can be really irritating.
I dun mind the pairing itself, they dont annoy me, its jst the fanatics of the fans.

i guess somehow every artist wil have fans that are just too overboard and over-protective, which really turns people off. however, it wont stopped me from liking the artist.

the girls are wayyy too protective. is like no girls can get close to them or they will start bashing them up for no reason. does it mean, the boys cant even have their own freedom to hang out with normal girl-friends they want
and also sometimes i call that over-self-delusion. thinking that dbsk/sj is theirs when infact its not.

fahrenheit fans:
maybe its only fans in my country. i just find them too vulgar.

leslie chung, every time someone mentions him, i think of his overbearing fans. i know they love leslie and they miss him but running down or critising every actor who works with him or has higher votes then him is not going to help things, this will only make other fans dislike them and even leslie. they just think leslie is the best, others are just 2nd fiddle to him, well many fans think their idol is the best but at least they keep it to themselves and not start to diss every actor they see which is annoying

I dont think i hate an artist because of their fans. Howeveri think i will dislike them if their fans bash my idol.

BTW, nowadays many people will say an artist's fan over protective when they just protecting them....

I don't like to blame things on fans, obviously because I'm a fan of people myself. But I guess there are some fans out there that are way over the top.

Fahrenheit - I PERSONALLY think the fans overreact WAY too much when just one person says something that is just some constructive criticism. They're not the greatest band out there, but I think the fans are just crazy about them because of their looks. That makes them love the band and therefore love everything else about them... While I can try to point out something about how bad their dancing or singing is, someone else might butt in about how good they look. Hello? That doesn't have to do anything about what I was talking about...

SHE - Same thing with Fahrenheit. Some fans are too happy and excited to see them acting in dramas, or being pretty, or whatever, that they're immediately a fan of everything they do. I don't like SHE's singing, and when I try to point something out, other people are quick to yell at me (over the compter, yes) about how they're so pretty and act really well. Again, my point was their singing, not how pretty they are. (BTW, I don't think any of them are particularly pretty...)

GuiWang - Now don't get me wrong. I think Gui Gui and Wang Zi are pretty cute together, but if I have one thing to say differently about them, GuiWang fans are super fierce. I think they're a little too obsessed about this pairing, that they don't allow the individuals chances for more popularity, even if that means not having them work together and having different pairings... I guess this is directed more to their fans. They need to calm down...

I guess it all comes down to the fans. Although they think that they're supporting them, they also could be hurting them...

Actually it's the same for every artiste. Each of them has their own bunch of reasonable and unreasonable fans. It's probably because you often see them saying things that you don't like that's why you feel that they are the most annoying people on Earth

I personallly have a very strong dislike for DBSK and SUJU fangirls because they're overprotective of the boys. Or always thinking they can only have the boys to themselves.
But no matter what bad things they've done, or when they talk trash about my other fav artists, I must say I still whole-heartedly support and love DBSG and SUJU. I mean, i like them for who they are and what they bring to me, not what their fans do. o_o I coudlnt' care less about fans. seriously.

No offense, but I think you're only referring to Rainie's fans. Maybe it's just me but...I feel that most RM fans are merely Rainie fans and they think that all the guys she worked with belongs to her especially Mike, if not only Mike

I understand what you mean by them insulting other actresses. One good example will be Landy. If you'd watch Landy's Happy Birthday MV on youtube, you'll be more than convinced what RM (or Rainie's fans) can do. They were just spraying insults all over saying how ugly she is or how Rainie is so much better than her. I don't mind comments like, "I think Rainie looks better with Mike." or something else like, "It's be better if it was Rainie there."

But honestly, saying other actresses is real ugly or can't sing/can't act/can't dance or deny their chemistry wouldn't change the fact that they CAN sing, CAN act and CAN dance AND there IS chemistry between the two artistes.

What makes me think RM fans are mostly Rainie fans is because they seemed to be pretty supportive of Rainie with whoever else but bashes whichever female artiste Mike works with. Please people, support/ship them if you want but heck you're going to ruin and destroy their career with this attitude.

I guess it's pretty obvious whose fans I don't like. I don't dislike Rainie because of her fans, though. But honestly, I don't like her fans.

ELFs and Wonderfuls:

whenever SNSD is part of a concert they would always makes fun of them like making an X mark with their glowing sticks which i think is too childish

i also saw one video and i like the message: If your idols can support SNSD, why not the fans?

^ I kind of agree about Wonderfuls. Sometimes I see some comments on YT or w/e about how Wonder Girls need to improve on their singing (which is true), and their fans comment back saying stuff like "Why don't you go watch SNSD if you hate WG so much" or some other mean SNSD comment. The original commenter never even mentioned SNSD.

SNSD - their fans go extremely overboard, hence annihilated my very little interest in the girls.

Cassies and Elfs are similar too, but I don't "don't really like" DBSK and Suju for that, as I love the two groups.

well originally i wanted to find out more about this band cause i have heard that they're very talented. buut..their fans are really wayy to over protective. quite crazy. i was already errr.. when i saw how overprotective they were over their idol. and then when they started bashing fahrenheit just because frh stated they admired DBSK and wished one day they could work with them, whoa that was the last straw. like seriously, fahrenheit was just stating they admired DBSK. and look at what they got - bashings. there are DBSK fans saying fahrenheit should just look at their own talents first or frh don't deserve to work with them etcetc. like HELLO! look at your own attitude first. who are you to ask fahrenheit to look at their own talents first when even you yourself don't even have any? what, you just spend your lifetime stalking DBSK. is that a talent? seriously, these fans really turned me off from liking DBSK. yes, they are very talented, i agree with that. but their fans just..irked me out and i'm sorry to say, i'm like..hesitating to find out more about korean bands.

Bebu/Guiwang Fans
i really like these two pairings, don't get me wrong. but the fans of these pairings act like arronXhebe and guiguiXwangzi are married or something. seriously, when arron and guigui got paired up for pi li MIT, the poor two of them got bashed like crazy. guiwang fans bashed arron saying arron doesnt deserve to act with guigui. and guigui got even worse. arron/bebu fans bashed her like crazy, cursing her family etc. this is utter craziness. in the first place, bebu and guiwang aren't even married, they didn't even say they were interested in each other, what on earth is up with the fans getting so overworked over the fact that guilun was working together? sheesh. way overprotective. not to mention they go on every single video where there's arronXguigui interaction and keep on saying, no guigui/arron doesn't belong to arron/guigui. she/he should be with wangzi/hebe instead. sheesh. come on, you're just fans. who are you to decide who should be with who? and this i have to say made me somewhat..distant from these pairings. i still like them, but not as much as last time thanks to the fans. gah.

Arron Fans
i love him! but when i see some of his fans getting so overprotective over him and can't seem to accept the fact that he'll be working with a female artiste who's gonna have a kissing scene with him (eg. chun mei & guigui), i'm like ....just accept it. it's not as if arron's theirs or sth. SOME of his fans act like they're married to him or sth and just bash the female artistes he's working with just because they're jealous. it's really nonsensical. bah but i still love him though

grah i don't hate the artistes. i just dislike some of their fans. it's really not their fault for having such fans actually..so ya, i don't hate the artistes

For a long time I couldn't stand to hear about Farenheit or SHE because of the rabid Chun/Ella fans. I've only recently got into the Taiwanese pop & drama scene, tried to watch Hana Kimi because a lot of people recommended it, and just really couldn't take it past the first ep, but just kind of shrugged and walked away. Then I found the fans. They were so rabid, so keen to attack other pairings involving one of the two, and just... they seemed to encourage each other to attack people, and I found that horrifying.
It put me off both groups simply because the fans detracted so much from any good of theirs, for me.

Guiwang. Which is a strange one, as I really like GuiGui quite a lot. But just like the the Chun/Ella fans, they're far too quick to attack other people.

Basically, any group of fans that feel that other artists have to be attacked for their idols to prosper will put me off that person. It's a shame, really.

i think it's unfair to dislike an artist because of hating their fans. i mean, we have to understand they are just being over-protective or just a little too excited to see their idols. all of us have showbiz personas that we admire very much and i believe that at one or another, we also have said something negative against the artists of which they are compared to. but this doesn't mean i'm up to the fans bashing other artists' and their fans. of course it's extremely rude and we should keep a hold of ourselves.

there's nothing wrong in loving or admiring our idols but i think we should also know our limits and keep from being a nuisance to the other artists and their fans.

DBSK fans
i hate how they always compare DBSK to Fahrenheit and yeah i know some FH does that too and that bothers me too...DBSK fans doesn't really think(some) they just blam about how great DBSK is and stright up say FH sucks they are just a wannbe group! that makes me upset because Fh doesn work hard too

GuiGui Fans
i alrady stated in the guigui thread..i love gui gui but i dont like most of their fans..they get soo obessed over the fact that guigui wasn't in Legend Of Brown SUgar Chivalries.. and they want to keep wang zi all to guigui..when they don't even know if guigui really likes him anymore and its just a drama they are suppose to be acting with other people as well...

besides these two there are sooo many crazy fans who go to do anything just to make their favorite look better... crazy i tell yall..haha

EG fans. They were inconsiderate of their fans, but the fans remain their fans after Gillian apologizes a few times. It doesn't mean anything. Gillian didn't think of her fans and reputation before it. Maybe she had a hard time going through some things. Now she's drained down the list. I know she knew she had a wide range of fans. But why the heck would they still support her after the scandal? If she thought of her reputation, she should have not done that.
Don't bother replying about how old she is/it's her personal life because I do not care. Celebrities tend to have scandals/lies/rumors and all the negatives.

I've never hated an artist because of their fans. That doesn't make sense to me. But I do agree with some of the comments here that some fans are a lil intimidating and overprotective of their idols. It's understandable most of the time but some fans go wayyy overboard.

The SNSD fans at the Dream Concert were just...crazy. I know Cassiopeia and ELF boycotted the girls but the way the SNSD fans reacted in response was 100x more immature. I don't want to start the whole thing again but really that was the first time, fans of an idol gave me a bad impression of the artist itself.

DBSK fans
I am a DBSK fan myself. But I agree that sometimes some of their fans get too overprotective over the boys. They are human too, they make mistakes, but according to some DBSK fans, they are perfect and anyone who says otherwise is evil.
Also with the recent FRH incident. I think it's fair to say talent-wise DBSK are in a different league to FRH but there was no need to bash FRH full out. I am saddened that it is because of this bashing that FRH fans that were getting into DBSK backed away.

SJ fans
Same as above. Overprotective.

FRH fans
Yes DBSK fans bashed FRH but let's not forget that some FRH fans also bashed DBSK....with some really mindless comments.
Also, I used to be an FRH fan and the feeling I got was that the fans are not really united. Arron and Jiro fans tended to be on one side and Calvin and Chun fans were on the other. If i recall correctly, they even fought at functions etc. How can fans of the same band hate on each other? Plus, there were incidents back in the day when Chun fans made Arron really upset. And I know many FRH fans love Arron, Jiro and Calvin but hate Chun.

that's my 2 cents. Though like i said, I don't hate any of the artists because of their fans.

I dont hate any artists because of their fans in particular but i totally dislike fans who are..

i) literally WORSHIP their artists.

For e.g., they go like.. "Omg!! ******* You're my GODDESS!!" , "GODDESS *****" , etc.
Totally irritating. I mean it's like they are so lifeless to actually call their favourite artists that. I mean. they're humans. They make mistakes too. They are no different than us, The only difference is that they're in the entertainment industry and are more famous. That's all. That doesnt make them so perfect.

2) Fans who are totally oblivious of their artists mistakes.

For e.g.: When their fav artists have clearly done something wrong, they go all out trying to say like.. "Oh this article is fake.. Someone's just trying to ruin his/her name... blablablbalbal..". FYI, that's not called protecting ur fav artists but acting oblvious towards their mistakes. As mentioned above, they're just humans, for goodness sake.

3) Fans who are soooooooo protective over their artist

Ahh.. this is based on true experience. I visited this thread before (cos i'm also a fan of this artist) and there's this group of fans who were bashing about the other artist that their favourite artist is gonna work with. And they're saying like.. he'll outshine her and stuff. I mean.. the actress doesnt even see a problem in working with this particular actor, so why do you see a problem. It's up to her. It's her career. It's her decision. The only role that we, fans, should play is to support her. That's all. its not our say as to who she works with. So damn over protective. And.. the worst thing of all is that they would go to the extent of hurting other fans feelings.

P.s.: Yes, this is directed to SOME fans. I'm just not mentioning the artists name but you guys should know who you are.

why should anyone hate an artist just because of their fans? that is so unfair to the artist, it's not like it's their fault. imagine if u were a singer and one of ur fans was being rude, causing ppl to hate u. how would u like it?

Tavia - neutral to her but can't stand her sensitive and arrogant fans. They think she is SO SPECIAL?

WOW that is really unfair on the generalisation....I'm a Tavia fan but I don't think she is god... I think Tavia fans get carried away but we are not arrogant towards others....

For what I see they are arrogant and like to bash others. Such as in the news corner where they give pictures of Kate Tsui then said: how ya'll think she is pretty or where they said: If Tavia cannot get 'Most Improved Artist', then many who has won the 'Best Artist' award should not be in the nominee's list. They like to bash other actresses as I saw in many place.

um. i don't like charmaine but some of her fans make me hate her more.
i mean accept it not everyone loves her. and those who say they don't like her or something her fans starts saying that you guys are just jealous of her. like wtf.
and i dislike it when they praise her like god. like she's the prettiest and the best actress.
like having more series=best acting. uh having more series doesn't mean they are good at acting. just means they are being promoted more.

I did not bash Kate Tsui. I saw comments that said that Kate Tsui is a stunning beauty and pretty, so I wonder how can she be pretty on the pictures they commented. I also said that it's a matter of perception (people have different viewpoints of looks) and eye of beholder.



Did you even read my comment or you just assumed that I'm Tavia's fan, thus that automatically mean I bash Kate Tsui.

Also, if you misunderstood my comment, that because she was talking about Liza Wang.
