Do you have any artiste that you hate because of their fans? This might seem shallow to some but i certainly do have some.

1) FRH
Oh my, some of their fans that i have met are really rude and makes annoying comments! Some immediately slam you if you say something bad about FRH. I was in a shop where i commented a bit on FRH and i received stares from a certain group of girls! I was like "Chill man!"

When Ella and Chun came to Singapore to promote HanaKimi, Chun fans were really insensitive to Ella feelings. From what my friend told me, some just knock Ella or ignore her just to have a better view of Chun. Hey, you should at least respect the artiste!

I turned into a mild fan of FRH because of this and also some other reasons.

2) Twins
SHE and Twins are being compared by many since they are very similar. In some forums, some Twins fans are really harsh on SHE and are totally disrespectful. They just diss SHE. Well, they might have some bad experience with certain SHE fans, but i think they still shouldn't be too harsh.

i've got the same 'fate' as you. my group of friends once commented about FRH as well and the fans were like... >.<

As time went by, I realized they were absolutely talentless, and the fans were adding fuel to the fire, not the main cause, disliked them more will be the right phrase.

anw, i am weirded out by fans who like their idols too much up to the sense they think their idols are a higher being.

Wow, we were talking about this in the Charmaine's haters thread. Seriously there are some Charmaine's fans that are really pissing me off because they keep saying that Charmaine is the most prettiest/best actress and then diss every single other actress. They also diss people who even say one bad thing about Charmaine and even the idol of person. That is just sad. I mean it's okay to praise and admire your idol but don't go into other actress's thread or series's thread that don't have Charmaine and diss people and artistes there and keep saying things like "Charmaine is the best and the others suck".

Also certain fans of Twins are quite annoying because they keep saying things like "Charlene is better and I hate Gillian" (or vice versa). Why can't people like them both together? What is the point of liking one person and hating the other in the same group? It's like hating half of Twins.

well...usually when i dislike/hate a particular artist, it's cuz i hate him/herself...but sometimes the fans annoy me so much it just makes me hate the artist even more...i hate Jerry Yan, but some of his fans r just so annoying! >.< whenever ppl comment bad about Jerry, his fans will snap at u that instant n then start comparing Jerry 2 ur idol, making comments like "at least Jerry has done this while ur idol hasn't...", or "at least Jerry has won this award n ur idol didn't" n stuff like that, get a grip! i'm only just voicing my own opinion! no need 2 snap my head off! they turn it into some sort of popularity contest or somethin'! another thing that annoys me is that sometimes whenever ppl say bad things about Jerry, some of his fans would immediately presume that these ppl r just "jealous"! that's just really stupid in my opinion! if i was an Andy Lau fan n i said something bad about Jerry, then does that mean I'm "jealous" of Jerry cuz he is better than Andy? give me a break! we all know Andy is soooooo much better than Jerry in so many ways n his WAY more successful! it's just so annoying! those Jerry fans think so highly of their idol, thinking that he is better than ever1 else! just cuz ppl don't like their idol, it doesn't mean they r "jealous", n it's really un-necessary they always compare their idol 2 others just so they can prove a point, especially when ppl r only just voicing their own opinions!

Well... sometimes I really don't like some artists' fans. Their fans sometimes are too protective. I think that noone is perfect and why can't fans accept their idols' troubles? Artist isn't angel although they both begin with letter "A". All medails have two faces, rite?

I'm kindof ok with fans that are just protective or maybe overprotective of their idols and jump on ppl when they criticise one of them. But there's a limit. Some of them are just super extreme. They think so highly of their own artiste and expect everyone to follow their opinion. And even if you post it in the critic's hangout, in defence, they start comparing your idol to theirs and say all that lousy stuff about her. I was in this Liu Yi Fei's hater thread that day and there was someone who had Qiao En related pic in her signature, criticising Liu Yi Fei. Her fans jump on her and started criticising Qiao En back lor. Like as long as your idol isn't as good as my idol, you have no right to criticise my idol. Hello? Where's the logic in that? No one's perfect and no idol's perfect. Their actions are just so annoying and make me hate them, but usually i won't link them to the artiste that much unless i already dislike the artiste. But what i really dislike is fans that are rude to other artiste in front of their face. Like there's no respect at all. Like some of Ming Dao's fans and Lollipop fans.

There was this incident when 183 Club was holding a promotional activity for their album or something and so fans go up to get their autograph. There was a MD fan that openly told Shao Wei that she doesn't want his signature and only want MD's. And some other stuff by other fans too.. They really put me off MD for a while cuz it's just plain rude of them to do all that stuff. They can don't like SW, but there's no need to tell him that to his face when MD and SW is in the same group. And some of them always disses other 183 member plus ppl who cooperated in dramas with MD which is just so annoying.

Lollipop's Wang Zi's fans are annoying too. I didn't really come across anything online but there was this episode of Bang Bang Tang that one of Lollipop's member said something about how they were promoting their album and some lucky fans get to ride the ferriswheel with them. And in the end, Wang Zi's fans ended up with other Lollipop member and some of them cried throughout the ride which I think is just plain rude. I really think this kind of fans are a disgrace to their idol. Like mzdevil said, they're just helping their artiste gain haters. Not everyone can really put fans and idols separately and not link them together. Sometimes you just can't help but judge an idol partly base on their fans too.

That doesn't mean that if i get a hug (imagine) from Ella or Selina that means i have to cry 5 buckets of tears! Those WangZi fans are really... ARGH!~ Appreciate what you havee! Most fans make things worse for their idols. Instead of defending well, they add oil to the fire by being over protective. They should reason out well and not just put down other artiste just like that.

One of the main reasons why I hated Charmaine was because of her fans. >.> It's like the moment you said sth that sounds negative to them, they would find chances to diss you, your family, and also your idol. Fortunately, one of my friends who's a so-so Charmaine lover doesn't really protect his idol to the point that's too extreme else we would have been sworn enemies for the rest of our lives lol.

I wouldnt dislike any idols bcoz of their fans~its irritating no doubt but its very childish and stupid IMO. Its unfair for them esp. if they're working hard on the oppurtunites that have given to them.

I mean idols dont even have any idea what the heck their fans are doing. They also couldnt control them no matter how they plea or request about this and that.

I don't ever "Dislike" an artist because of their fans... I admit that I find to hard to like a person when their fans get on my last nerve, but I won't dislike them. I mean, what did the artist do to you? I find it ridiculous to HATE an artist in the first place, but to hate them because of their fans is even more ridiculous. It seem like people can hate someone else so easily nowaday, someone they don't even know. Or someone whom they hate just because of someone else... it's unfair and frankly speaking, makes you no better.

Well, sorry for saying this as this is purely my opinion only , I don't know how can you dislike an artist/group just because of the fans... of course, every artist/group has delusional fans and spend all their time in 'chasing' their idols, and do silly stuff and make people laugh... but why care about them? It's not the artists' fault that they attract such immature people...

Personally, I don't dislike an artist because of his/her fans... I don't like Jay Chou, but it has nothing to do with the fans because I couldn't care less about what they do as long as it doesn't cause any harm to Jay himself or anyone else... I know there are fans who are super extreme and do not know when to stop, for example, that Andy Lau fan who lost her father... I think she was overboard but I don't dislike Andy Lau too...

there r some fans that always make up soem random coupling because the two celebs just happen to be collaborating. thats kinda annoying. but thats my opinnon. also, fans that diss oe person in a band over another member just to make there favorite memeber sound better is kinda stupid T__T.

DBSK, Super Junior... in fact most of male Korean pop idols because their fans are freakin crazy all the time and act like damn 2 year olds with their obsessions and defensive mentalities.

Agreed! It's so irritating. The fanfic is like: Jiro and Arron get together. Chun and Calvin have a one night stand. I'm like: what the heck. Where did you get that from? They're just friends. Being in a boy band doesn't automatically make you gay. Calm your fangirl hormones. XD

I've actually never had a thing against an artist because of their fans....yer, the fans can be annoying and unreasonable (but who isn't when it comes to your idol right?) but I only dislike the artist because I just do....I think that I'll always be that way because I normally just ignore silly comments unless they attack/compare with something I like...

Well you shouldn't hate the artist.. hate the fans. If they can't accept that their idols have flaws, then they are in denial. LOL

Probably I dislike unreasonable fans in general. Some fans out there are outright crazy and really speak of their idols like gods or creatures from heaven.

I as well as dislike anti/haters who just gives one or 2 remarks why they hate an artist.

there are a few people i hate here...well only 2. this one charmaine fan and this one charray fan. at that time i had a bernice avie and when i was talking about charmaines bas acting this butt just suddenly start say "at least shes better than that b*t*h in your icon" yeah.

Rainie Yang fans annoy the hell out of me. I used to hate her so much because they would always compare her to Ariel and it would just piss me off...I would hate it when I would be watching Love Contract and Raine fans would say in every single post oh I wish it were Rainie and Mike..like over and over again...they're so so annoying(Mike/Raine fans are the worst). I used to hate Rainie because of them but now I like her. She's a cool and funny person. Eventhough Her fans piss me off that doesn't mean I should blame her for her annoying fans.

Also F4 fans are the WORST!! Any criticism to F4 and they get crazy. I used to be an F4 fan until I found out that they weren't really talented in the singing area(except Vic and Vaness) and they were a bit overated. I just refrain from F4 fans because they just sound stupid..if F4 wasn't goodlooking they'd be nowhere..I like F4 as individuals just not together..

I just dislike the fact that some fans post their opinions in the wrong place. Like sometimes it happens on AF where a fan of x would drop by in y's thread and post their opinion of how great x is...then they may as well drop a dislike comment about y (because x and y 's previous role used to fight for the same guy/ girl). It's so rude~

Also when there's a discussion about a series and you give a totally reasonable and objective comment (because you don't hate/like any of the actress/actor but heck it's a discussion forum so you 'discuss') and their fans starts to quote you and say rude stuff about you or your idol and carry on...

Or at times they would drop by to 'spy' on rival threads and go back to their x thread to ditch about y's fans (jealousy? whatever...).

Bottom line is: Stick to your own interest thread! If you like x why bother going y when you don't like y? or why bother going to x's critic's hangout?

Without naming names I got to a point where I'm so annoyed by a fan following me her idol x's name just brings bad connotations which couldn't be helped.

It's true that there are some fans whom really annoy you, but I don't tend to dislike an artist just because of his/her fans, I just think that's unfair. Although, there were times when I dislike a particular artist more than usual when their fans just utterly annoy me so much, I just can't stand it! But those fans are not the only reason, other factors, such as the artist's lack of talent and such.
I don't mind people voicing their own opinions, but when they personally attack other people when it's utterly un-necessary, then I get really frustrated and irritated, and there are some fans whom are like that. There were times when I try to voice my own opinion, some fans would instantly start attacking me and criticize my idols, and that to me is utterly unacceptable!
I have also come across some people who dislike artists because their fans are just so immature and irritating, eventually it led these people to suspect that the artists are no different to their fans.

Although I think that it's unfair to push all your hatred and dislike on an artist just because of the fans...however, I have to say that those fans are not doing their idols any favors by being rude and disrespectful to others, eventually their immature behavior will impact on their idol's image; and that is so evident with the amount of people who dislike their idol because of these fans.

but i do agree that its a bit uncomfortable to see fans being too obsessed with their artists and dissed any person who dared make even the slightest bit of constructing criticism. its scary ;; i think fans should be considerate and take criticisms in a healthier way because yes its unfair to hate an artist because of the fans but like people have said earlier fans behavior does impact artists image..

hahah! i don't really like minority of the Flora fans.

they seem to hate every single celeb except for those associated to Flora & her good pals.

eg : Bowie, Gallen, Kenix, Ada, Maggie, etc etc.

& they seem to hate anybody that's more popular than Flora.

eg : Charmaine, (& i forgot who la. but they just can't seem to stand it when people have other idols other than Flora)

they also often criticise other artistes without sparing a thought for their fans. quite mean really, some of their comments.

i quite dislike some of s.h.e fans that scold twins. i just can't understand why lots of s.h.e fans hate twins so much. when i go to 'twins community'(twins forum), there are lots of fans that like s.h.e although there are still a few that diss them. but when i go to s.h.e forum, there are lots of bashing of twins. at that time i was very into twins and began 2 not like s.h.e that much. now i never visit that forum anymore, so now i still like s.h.e. another reason why i like them back is because selina is just so nice.
it just shows that fans are usually the ones that make people dislike the artist more.

some fans really go beyond the limit. they pick at other celebs' faults just to make thier idol seem better.
Once during a fahrenheit confrence... these crazy girls screamed at arron yan ya lunto "move out of the way, ur blocking our chun!" when i read it in the paper i felt really bad fo arron. There was another case involvinga a Suju Fan. A new fan just joiined the forum and they said "Oh HanHyuk is good in chinese!" and one of the other member screamed "U stupid b*t*h... he has to be good in chinese he is chinese!"
Those fans were just rude and completly carefree of other people's feelings.
These kinda fans need to stop wasting all thier time being rude and actually do something useful... idk recycle or something lol.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrr, k i was at this music store and was looking for TVXQ Choosey lover single (yes FAN here lol) and then i see this BoA cd next to it, and i was like~ "hey, this cover looks a little like ayumi hamasaki's" to my friend, and like i didn't mean it in a bad way, just pointing it out... and i hear "ROAR WAT THE HELL B*TCH! BALH BLAH BLAH boa did not COPY ayumi!" and these two girls go on for like...1 0 minutes spazing...yeah...

Haha...I agree. There are many SM town fans who are crazily obssessed with their idols to the point that even if you make one little criticizing remark they'll go after you with knives. But, I don't hate the artists under SM. *Cassiopeia* and *E.L.F.* ---stay away from these people. These groups are like a cult.

fahrenheit - honestly they're not all that talented. still, why do they have so much crazy fans who can't stop talking about their 'hotness' when they're just typical pretty boys?

DBSK - when shippers talk about who DBSK members look best with, their female fans would put the girl down. i think the 'fans' just can't bare to lose their prince charmings to other females and therefore seem to be encouraging the idea that DBSK members like each other in that way.

gosh, totally agree! i was in 7 11 that night and i quickly grab a copy of chinese mags(tho i noe ntg about chinese) featuring DBSK.. its normal to flick the mags and i saw some of the article and FRH's pics all around and i commented that FRH are gaining popularity and they are kind of popular now.. and later on, what i received was cold glares from a bunch of girls.. and two of the girls started bashing dbsk!!! i dont know how the heck they know i adore dbsk but i didnt bashed FRH, kay!?! gosh!

Well for me it has to be DBSK. Its not that i dislike them but sometime their fans are too much. I even heard that they bash other artists too much and it just annoying. I mean if they dont like the artist, well just dont care about them. Right? I mean i even love to hear DBSK songs. And they are good.. I don't hate her or anything.. I used to be a slightlyyyy avid fan after finsihing MARS.. but errr.. no offense to people that write in the Vic and Barbie thread.. but they are sooooo obsessed. They sing praises to them like they're Gods or something.. and overexaggerate soo much. They take the "Barbie is soooo young" wayyy to far. I'll admit she looks good for her age... but seriously.. how delusionallll do you have to be to say she looks like she is 16....
Her fans seem to form a cult like feel around them. Really creepy and makes me not like Barbie as much. She's corrupting young minds to think she's their age and that she's the image of beauty and all that other creepy stuff. And if a Barbie fan happens to come by I swearrr they will defend her and call me ignorant or something. Cult cult cult.

SERIOUSLY!!!!!! i love DBSK and SUJU!! but their crazy-schoolgirl-fans are scary as hell!!...actually any schoolgirl-fan of any boyband is someone you dont ever wanna come across!!! i mean i'm a fangirl..but i dont care if dont like them...its your life..like or hate whatever you want....

I would have to agree with some posters and say DBSK also... their fans are just too obsessed sometimes. I guess it's more noticeable because DBSK have a huge fanbase.

I am a DBSK fan myself... and sometimes I look for some good performances to listen to, and EVERY video says they are singing amazing.. even when it is lip sync. This bothers me because I would like to watch DBSk sing (which i know they can do very well) and it's not a helpful comment if you say they are amazing in every video when they are not. (Humans make mistakes..)

I wouldn't stop liking a celebrity because of their fans I'd just be scared to death when I meet them because ther some fans and anti fans that go way over board . Some can be to dedicated and send hate mail. If a girl or guy hangs out with a girl or guy celebrity they can get persecuted bu their fans which I think is pretty immature, it's their lives why do you want to interfere, people that are close with their favorite celebs when they did nothing. Some can anti-fans can physically ahrm an a celebrity like poisoning them or injuring their eye, now that scary, if you dislike a celebrity why do you need to harm them, their human, their just like us only with a better pay roll.

Well, I'm no DBSK or Super Junior fan, I'm laying that out there first. And anti-fans hate bands/artists for some of the most ridiculous reasons (most anti-fans are girls, as you can imagine...). Some things may be that they're just jealous, they envy what they have. Another is one band's interaction/collaboration with other bands/artists that anti-fans really like. For example, fans who adore DBSK. If DBSK were to hook up with another band, especially a girlband, they would be hated by the fans of DBSK. So basically, anti-fans are who they are because they see other people with their idol and they're jealous that they themselves cannot meet them, so they feel they need to take revenge against them. Ridiculous if you ask me.

maybe they are just jelous or something. You know you cant please everyone.

i mean, every showbiz personality has one.
every country has them.
but i think Korean anti-fans are way too violent and over reacting.
