Comic-ritz Ep 9 Summary Translation (credits to karened please!)
[spoiler]JD had prepared notes for all the subjects for HD and asked XN to get Bo Zi to open the door so she can secretly enter HD's house while it's empty. However, just as she was about to leave, she met YS. As was before, YS threw her some snide remarks.

HD found all sorts of excuses just to create trouble for JD at the counter where she works. This aroused the attention of the other staffs. Meanwhile, XN continues to try bring HY ad JD together again so that HY can offer JD protection. After he had made things difficult for JD, HD begins to leave. Coincidentally, he sees HY, who was making his way to the counter to ask after JD. The two brothers exchanged spiteful words in front of the counter. This also made HY change his mind about looking for JD.

HY instructs HD to be in charge of increasing the sales figures for the 'Young Women Wear' section during a management meeting. Failure to do so would lead to the company retrenching the staff. This angers HD because he feels that HY is trying to make things difficult for him.

JD approached her in-charge to ask for an advance paycheck which she then gives to Ken to repay the debt she owed XN. However, Ken took that as payment for their breakup. HD and XN saw Ken flirting and hooking up with other girls. HD makes the elevator stop on purpose so as to give XN time to cry as much as she wants to. This caused problems to the running of the building. HY and JD happened to pass by and they saw XN and HD hugging each other inside the elevator...

HY decides to punish XN because of the elevator incident. This initially made HD furious. However, he came to realise that HY was actually trying to protect XN (from people's remarks. Lit. save her face) and that HY holds a unique view towards the company's stand and the staff and customers' stand. Hence, his view of HY changes slightly.

XN was very unhappy about JD making her own decision to give money to Ken and cracks started to show in their friendship. HD helped to resolve the misunderstanding by giving the two advices. HD brings JD, XN and Bo Zi along as he stormed into a nightclub where he made Ken utterly embarrassed (Lit. lose face). Overjoyed, JD got herself drunk and HD had no choice but to piggback her home.

The next day, HD gathered all the staff and asked all of them to work hard and improve the sales figures or face the danger of a mass retrenchment exercise. Everyone gets worried because of this. JD asks HY to consider what can the products they sell help the customers to accomplish. However, the close interactions between JD, XN and the two Huo brothers bring them malicious remarks from their colleagues.

One day after work, JD finds Jia Hui hiding at home, his face all bruised up. It's only then that she realises that her mother went to Tainan alone. Worried, she leaves the house in a rush. While HD, who for some reason found himself in the vicinity of JD's place, was about to leave, he sees a car from afar traveling at high speed and heading towards a sprinting JD...

what i have to say: aghh! i want 2 hour episodes!! anyhow, episode 9 seems extremely exciting. we'll see a clearly jealous JD and a XN never seen before! don't dislike her just yet folks! let's see what she has to say next week.. and the week after.. hihihi

On rewatching the preview clip, I think, yeah..HD's gonng help XN take revenge or something...something he loves to do right? To right the wrong. Maybe that's why he said that XN's issue is more important than accompanying JD home for that moment. Plus, when he went up to XN outside the shopping mall at night, you can tell that he had been waiting for her and when they met, he gave her an assuring nod like they were about to go somewhere!

BUT, I'm still mad at HD. I know it's right for him to help XN first since that is more serious, but when my heart comes into play, I wanna kill him!!!! In all typical love stories, the guy IS SUPPOSED to put the girl above EVERYTHING, even his opposing family, all the wealth and status he will inherit, his life..wadever. But I guess WWL is atypical! XD So looking forward to the next preview. XD I'm NOT looking forward to the next ep much. =X

Man.. I have a feeling that while JD walks home alone, HY will somehow appear before her and give her comfort. <3

to rachealyn: from the previews, it appears to be that XN is mad at JD for giving Ah Ken money. JD gave it to Ah Ken because the last few times he went to XN for money, she had already given it to JD, and so he was pissed. so JD was trying to make up for it. of course, XN has already found out he's only there for the money (ep 8, where he left her at the gas station)

as for my thoughts...
i'm actually really looking forward to this episode.
granted, it's a whole bunch of scenes we probably won't like that much, but HD and JD can only get closer if they also include their friends, like HD's friend BZ, and now XN is becoming part of the group. i mean, how close could JD and HD have gotten if XN didn't trust HD like she's going to in the upcoming episodes?

i also don't think it was wrong of XN to say what she said. everything she said about JD being too nice for her own good (and her friends' good) is too true. hopefully this will be a lesson for her to learn so that next time the uncle or the brother try to take advantage of her generosity, she'll stand up to them for good. maybe XN could have been a little nicer about and not yelled (but i'd yell if my life was in the pits at the moment too).

and as to HD... he tends to speak exactly what he's thinking when he blows up. which i think is a good thing. it's kind of like from dby, were ah meng said "you only say the truth when you truly care about someone." and XN's issue is probably more pressing at the moment, there's the rest of the show for HD and JD to make up (and out )! and we know this isn't the only problem HD and JD are going to have trying to make it as a couple, so HD might as well get XN on his side too right?

I'm actually split over this. On one hand, it may seem that what XN said about JD is true, and JD should change her treatment and tolerance towards her uncle, brother and Ken (the way XN put it across not taken into consideration). On the other hand, I wouldn't really want that to happen... It's really contradicting, but that is how I feel. I asked myself, if I would like a JD who stands by the side and watches her loved ones get into trouble without lending them a helping hand. Sure, she will get herself into a tighter situation (usually financially) but at least her family will be safe (in the situation of her uncle). If JD becomes someone who doesn't at least TRY to help her loved ones, she wouldn't be JD anymore right? At least not the JD who won me over. The JD who s so strong in facing problems, who is always willing to sacrifice herself to help her loved ones.

But, like I said, my feelings are contradicting each other. If JD doesn't stop helpig them, they will never learn, will never grow up. And trouble will just keep coming her way. >_<""''" What a dilemma. As if the HD-JD-HY thing isn't complicated enough...

i'm crossing my fingers for XN's issue to be resolved all in episode 9 too, but i'm not going to let my hopes get too high. BUT, one GOOD thing that comes from all this ruckus is that XN will see the GOOD in HD and accept him, and then will approve HD with JD instead of always pushing her to HY!! so, let's look at that bright side, hao ma? hihihi

True, true! That is a desirable outcome and I hope the plot goes this way! But I guess when XN changes her view of HD, she'll be confused as to which guy is more suitable for JD as well! Both sides have their own plus points!

Its not a matter of WILL they they its a matter of WHEN WILL they.

I think the story is getting more interesting starting from episode 9 . XN is all the while the cupid of HY and JD and this incident will surely change her perception towards HD and XN would probably realize that HD is the one for JD , thus turn to become their cupid..haha
When HD and HY racing in epi 1, no one know the result of who won the race. The pic of guy no 10 might actually be HD instead of HY. HD maybe will reveal it to XN and XN probably realize that all this while the real guy no 10 is HD , not HY.(just a prediction)

In the ending scene, i think XN was probably too emotional knowing that Ken is after her money and not love but ironically, JD who is in heavy debt still do the good intentional stupid thing by giving away her salary for the coming months. XN knew that JD is soft hearted but she also know that because of her protective nature, many take advantage of her. JD always put others above her and yet unwilling to let others to help her, this is probably what XN trying to make her understand that sometimes in helping others doesnt do them any good, but make them dependable. One of the good example of JD's attitude is how she trying to avoid HY when he told her about the reason why he acted that way,... in a way, she wanted to protect HY from getting hurt but i think its kind of unright in that moment and she seems to direct everything towards herself..... Perhaps XN's words is a bit harsh, but it could make JD realize that her attitude towards people around her is wrong in some way of expression.

HD will probably help XN to confront her ex-bf to demand back the money. Then, he will help XN to find a job and possibly with the opportunity of BZ helping out too. In the preview, it also showed that HY fired XN for some reason related with HD. XN is probably disappointed with HY, the nice guy she wanted JD to be with all this while. Of course , after XN and HD walked away to settle their issue, JD who is walking alone could possibly meet HY on the way and this provide them an opportunity to rekindle their relationship. After what happen between XN and HD, XN probably encourage HD to fight for JD...... this might lead to the fights between the two brothers in the coming episodes and how HY propose to JD......

good points cheekygen! it is true that 10th guy is HD anyway since HD ends up with JD, "winning the race." hihihi. and yes JD does need to learn how to toughen up and say "NO" when it is needed. maybe XN really wanted her to learn this lesson and treated her harshly because of that, and because she was so down in spirits.

BUT GUYSSSS!!! guess what! tee-hee! i'm happy because i finally placed puzzle pieces together for what's upcoming (most likely episode 10)!

the one to comfort JD when she walks away alone is NOT going to be HY, but ta-da!! our lovable HD! i'm 90% sure. why do i say this?

and what i'm 50% sure about is that HD covers JD's eyes because she saw HY and YS kiss. i'm basing this kiss on the upcoming outfits, so there's a lot of doubt about it. and like, why would HD cover JD's eyes for no reason? obviously to stop her from seeing something not nice.

They just had an arugment, I don't think she would have the time to imagin, and in that picture, it seems like she was thinking really hard about what XN and HD said. And if it was an imagination, I think she wouldof imagined him to be more happier and not so mad-looking.
