These two versions are very diffrent from each other. Let's find the difference between them.

1. The themesong is different
2. The background music is different
3. Some scenes come in CCTV but TVB cut them (Let's list)
4. Some scenes come in TVB version but TVB cut them (Let's list)
5. Some camera angles changed
6. The concert when Pong + Dad and Fung + Mon went to hear sound diffrent

Lolz, I hope we can list the cut scenes in two version.

apparently I've heard they skipped Charmaine-Ray's kiss scene in CCTV's version lolz

anyways I was planning to watch CCTV's version instead of TVB's version because I'm not a supporter of Charmaine-Ray and mainly watching the show for Sheren, Michael, Jess etc... but eventually I did catch TVB's version and I must admit, I didn't like TDOL DISREGARDING the Charmaine-Raymond pairing factor. Not my cup of tea with all the dubbing....

well the car part where ray wa driving charm home, the last part was cut off from the TVB version but not in CCTV

I go for the CCTV version all the way, lmao! CCTV version is awesome, they cut out about half of Charmaine scenes especially her kissing scenes with Raymond, seems like CCTV isn't as stupid as TVB, they can see old sis-young bro relationship isn't going to work out, so they cut out the Charray scenes before the ratings get affected.

Well don't want to mess with u but please hold the topic, this is not what u think about charm are something. ut if want to be off topic I can tell u that the charray pairing in mainland china are well beloved by everyone also, y cctv cut charm part was b/c they think it too rude charm was is doing. that kind of plot is not really going in the china market

There are lots of char-ray scenes in TVB version? I haven't watched...So they cut out other people's scenes???

Yeah believe whatever you want, Charray loved by everyone, LMAO! Go and ask EVERYONE in mainland before you tell me they are loved by everyone! In the chinese forums such as baidu, I can see so many haters of them around, ppl are complaining about old Charmaine pairing with hot Raymond, I'd say it's more likely everyone hates them than everyone loves them. And since when am I off-topic, I was right on topic by saying I prefer the CCTV version and stating my reasons for prefering the CCTV version which is that half of Chamaine scenes are cut. You are the one that's off-topic by starting an argument with me.

I think you are being a little too biased here. The purpose of this thread is to compare the CCTV version and the TVB version not about CharRay being popular or not in Mainland. NO offense, but when I was reading your comment..you sound really ignorant and rude. You should respect other people's opinions.

i think it would have been better if it was either made solely by tvb or cctv so there would be no need to use dubbing. It is obvious that ppl in Hk and the mainland have different tastes so making a series to suit both isn't going to be good, which is the reason behind the lower ratings in HK

I'm sorry that I use the wrong word ( to make u so irritated) everyone I should have said that there are alot of mainland supporters that like the charray pairing, And what u have said about u find alot of charray haters on baidu I can say that I have also find alot of supporters there. and if I should be honest I haven't seen a bad comments about this pairing on baidu.

Well the sotryline is near the same, just that sau fung and zhen pong did get married in las vegas so that's y charm get pregnant. so that part was the most different from the TVB version,
