I think the best place to live in should have mountains and seashore close to it and of course with nice weather. So far I like where I live but it is a bit too cold in the winter.Well...I think it is hard to pick a perfect place to live.Right?

i would pick SoCal, if i have to choose. you can golf, snowboard and jet-ski at the same day. but living expense in pretty high. all came down to the preference of your own lifestyle.

well, after of all...i still prefer Malaysia for certain reasons. i have been living in Malaysia for 20 years, then i did went to Singapore for 6 months, then im currently in Sydney for 1 yr....well just becoz Malaysia hav lots of variety of Food...n they are cheap n delicious~~~~~~serious...n malaysia has MAMAK~~ the best thing in world....lolx....where youngster can hang the whole night long....its a restaurant where they selling "roti canai", with "teh tarik"....n one canai will cost u like rm 0.90 ...teh tarik...rm 1.20. they usually operate till 4am...or 24/7.....
after food...malaysia hav lots of fasinating tourism point....Pulau Redang...Sabah(where the 1st season of Survival cast in), Sarawak...lots more beaches......visit malaysia if you hav a chance,,

Japan has too many earthquakes. Malaysia is a victim of tsumami's and hurricanes. anywhere in europe is good but the winters are quite harsh. the states are good but only along west coast. lol i dunno mars???

i think every place will have its good and bad. I live in Hawaii and I think it's pretty good. Year round sunshine but there are also disadvantages to being the most isolated place in the world, not to mention the high cost of living. I heard Switzerland is a great place to live but of course you have the cold weather. so every place will have its good and bad.

well... i agree with "jayda'star", every places has its good and bad... it also depends on what type of climate you would like to live in... for me it will be the carribean... tropical weather, winters are not sooo cold... and summer are like ok...

Well i must say, Japan is one of the most healthiest countries and i think has a realli long life expectancy level so if ur asking for the place which is healthiest to live in, then Japan. Plus if ur an anime lover, nonetheless it would be best to live in the original place of it all. Plus, Jap food is not onli healthy but scrumptious at the same time! ^^

I don't think the world climate has changed THAT much really... but I would like to live in a place without potential major natural disaster such as earthquakes in Japan...

i'd have to say Canada or Japan.
Both are good, they seem related too with the no war and peace keeper and education and health care i believe are excellent in both places. Also both blend well with the nature and wildlife.
Japan seems reallly fun with all the anime and good food.
Canada has free education and health care so you wont have to pay $23482 dollars for a doctor check up or "$ultimate homeless path right here" for surgery =P.
The only bad things are the earthquake threats in Japan and the high taxes in Canada. But then again no place is perfect, so i really do recommend Canada or Japan.

Thailand!!! Reason, I've been there on vacation 2 times in a row, and both of those times, people are very kind! The place is very convenient, you step out, there's food. Unlike Viet Nam (lived before), Vietnam has the convenience but not the cleanliness. The traffic system and streets are almost like America's. They even have the beach too.
'its blo0dii zen.

I would say Scandanavian countries or western european countries. I would say malaysia or japan would be good.Japan has many earthquakes and malaysia has a very strict culture and closed one too.

Well, I do have plans on living in Hong Kong or just staying here in Vancouver. Or maybe live in other cities. But every place is good and bad in their own ways so I'll just choose which everp place comes along.
nyc - but there are goods and bads. For ex. subway is a very convieniant transportation but during rush hours, it get really crowdy. Time Square - really good place to hand out and shopping but sometimes, you can smell things. ^^

i'm slightly surprised no one's mentioned australia!!! australia is one of the top countries in the world. the weather is really nice here, although summer can get a little hot. PLUS the government welfare system is one of the best, if not the best, in the world. they take care of EVERYONE. we were learning about different countries in economics a few days ago, and it made me appreciate how good australia is to its people. definitely australia!!

It really depends on what your individual criteria is regarding what you consider to the "best". Do you value freedom? what about peace? weather? history? famous landmarks? etc... All these are criteria that each and every individual sets. But overall according to the world health organization, the best country to live in is Canada, that balance all those factors.

I am from Canada (TO) and I live in Switzerland. I prefer it here in Switzerland much much much more. If it was BC vs Switzerland then maybe...I really don't know how the WHO ranks these things. Best part is, even if I am a little tire of Switzerland I pretty much be anywhere in Europe in about 3 hours. Try that in Canada with the traffic congestion.
