Hee Jung (Kim Ha Neul) and Ji Eun (Ha Ji Won) are sisters who live with their father (Park Geun Hyung).Hee Jung is very good-hearted and sweet and works hard at a small clothing company. When the owner dies, her son, Joon Ho (Ryu Shi Won), comes to take over. Joon Ho is a nahl-la-li who knows nothing about running a business. Hee Jung finds out that she was Joon Ho's first love back in middle school. They start becoming close but then, Hee Jung's evil little sister Ji Eun butts in. She sets up schemes to have Joon Ho for herself and that makes Hee Jung and Joon Ho grow farther apart. In addition, Hee Jung's mother (Lee Hwi Yang) is a very famous and successful clothing designer. She abandoned her daughter years ago. But somehow, she comes to believe that Ji Eun, not Hee Jung, is her daughter. She starts doing nice things for Ji Eun when Hee Jung really deserves it. She also tries to bring her most trusted employee Young Min (Kim Min Jong) with Ji Eun, but he falls for Hee Jung too.

i think that this series if good but it kinda pissed my family off b/c Ji Eun is sooo mean to her sister

The part which jerked me into tears was when Hee Jung got mad at her father and he asks for her forgiveness, but she left and she didn't say anything. She then went home again and found the letter that her father wrote, and then she went to look for him. And when he almost got killed from the car and she saved him. They hugged like right in the middle of the street!

Who are the actors in this series? I've seen quite a few Korean series, but I'm still unable to identify the actosr with their names, just their faces. Can anyone post pictures from this series? Or pics of the different actors?

well, all i know is that kim ha neul was in romance and the movie my tutor friend. she's really funny too.

I can't stand Kim Min Jong

I love this series b/c of my two fav actor and actress in this series: Ryu Si Won and Kim Ha Nuel; Ryu Si Won is so cute in this series; KHN as well. I was hoping that they will end up together but....

However Kim Ming Jong had ruining this series. I totally agreed with Lou that "I can't stand him" (sorry to his fans) from his look, facial expressions.... This is the first time I saw his movies and I am not looking forward to see his movies... I often tewatch the series but fast forward all of KMJ scenes. Still highly recomend this series

I just finished watching this series. I liked it and thought the acting was very good. Although, this series' storyline was very similar to Funny Wild Girl, I thought this was better. The actors/actresses did a good job in bringing out the emotions of the character. The lead girl make me wnat to watch her in My Tutor Friend. ahah.

this series is one of my favs. kim ha-neul is a fine actor and the cast in this drama blended in well.

hey when was this series produced? I really think Ha ji won looks kinda plump here... and kim na neul looks the same and seems to always portrary the same strong and independent kind of role. the cinderella role again...

The title of this series is "Secret" not Secret Lover. Secret is an old series which stars Kim Ha Nuel, Kim Min Jong and Ha Ji Won. While Secret Lovers is a 2005 drama series which stars the lead actress in Sweet 18.

I really like Kim Min Jong here. He's one of the most underrated actors in Korea. He was also in Guardian Angel with Song Hye Go. I remember watching and finishing Secret in two-days time.

Hi there. It's sad that you don't like KMJ in SECRET. i thought he was quite cute as a guy who never really had any real love in this world, and suddenly he is in love with this beautiful, determined woman. He's not used to expressing his feelings, and he tries to hide it at first, but i was proud of the fact that ultimately he stood up for himself and he refused to fall for the boss' plan to have him marry the 'false' daughter.

Having said that, however, I agree that KMJ should have displayed more expression in that series. but his eyes made up for it....sometimes i just forget the 'straight' face, and just focus on his eyes. they say more than his face overall.

Oh well, i haven't seen his other shows yet, so I am not really the best judge, i guess. maybe i'll change my mind when i see the others, hmmm?

I'VE SEEN PART OF THIS DRAMA, BUT POOR ME I NEVER SAW THE WHOLE THING.. IVE BEEN WANTING TO WATCH THIS DRAMA BUT NEVER COULD FIND WHERE TO WATCH IT. I'VE CHECKED MY SOJU, YOUTUBE, VEOH, &CRUNCHYROLL. DONT KNOW IF I COULD EVER WATCH IT AGAIN.. BECAUSE I DID NOT SEE THERE. BUT THIS DRAMA WAS A GOOD ONE.
I REALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THIS SERIES.
