Wilber Pan was recently in town to promote his latest album, 007. During a press conference, in response to previous reports of his "ice cream date" with Jolin Tsai, the singer expressed that he has no reservations to dating her. He further commented on their seven-year friendship, "I feel that should anything happen between a man and a woman, it would be during the first week or the first few months from when they get to know one another. However, we have known each other for seven years already!"

The singer rejected the possibility of a relationship between him and Tsai, "If I wanted to go after her, I would have done that long ago!" On his current singleton status, Pan expresses his yearnings to have a companion to share his good times and bad times with. Despite that, Pan admits that being a singleton provides him with more freedom, which he finds "not as bad".

During the press conference, the dashing singer further elaborated on his hopes to have a wife who will enjoy his singing capabilities, and even have plans to serenade her during their candlelight dinner in future. Pan has been vigorously training for his concert's tour, and sustained an injured arm during dance practices. Despite his arm injuries, the singer continued with traveling plans and visited Singapore as scheduled.

On his 007 agent image for his latest album, Pan confided that he did not want to be a hero initially as it involved a dangerous lifestyle, and he did not like to be surrounded by many, different girls. His latest album consists of eight pieces of original compositions and features Korean actress, Lee Da Hae, as his leading actress in the music video of 'Tango'. "I currently do not have plans to enter the Korean market. It just happens that most of my work requires me to be in Korea lately," he responded to rumours of him penetrating the Korean music industry.

On his collaboration with two Korean female artistes on this album, Pan shared his preferences, "If it was on dancing, I'd choose Lee Hyori. She is passionate and has a very manly character. On acting however, it would be Lee Da Hae, who is more demure."

I think my fren will be going with me.. but u see another problem is, if i take the train, it takes me about more than an hour or maybe 2 hours to get there. Hmm.. actually I first knew him when I watched videos if 100 Ent, and saw the clip where he was teaching show lo english, i was like OMG, He speaks fluent english. It was like a turn on, then I saw Miss No Good on Tv, and i remember him.. Then I watched some episodes but then, I became busy at school. But after I bought the DVD, i just can stop myself from watching it. I so love him there. The first song I hear was the opening of Miss No Good & Ive watched the vid on channel V. So cool. ♥

and now im planning to buy his 007 album. ^^

Wilber Pan recently hurt his right hand when he was practising dancing for his new album when he was filming Jay Chou's "Pandamen", Jay Chou often caringly touched his hand asking: "Is it better yet?" After a few times, Wilber Pan couldn't take it and said, "I've found out you really like touching my hand." The intelligent Jay Chou was for once stuck for words when he heard this, Devon said to Wilber Pan: "You're actually another "J Girl" Jay is bringing up!" The whole place exploded with laughter.

"Pandamen" is being hurriedly filmed, they didn't even stop working when the Morakot Typhoon hit. Jay Chou immediately donated 2 million, he rallied the rest of the crew of "Pandamen", yesterday the investment company Jiuzhou Sound and Visual Publisher donated 500,000 yuan (about TW$2.1 million) to the Chinese Red Cross.

Because Wilber Pan knows Jay Chou quite well privately, he guest starred in the series even though he is right now promoting his album. The thing is "Pandamen" is filmed in both Shanghai and Taipei, Wilber Pan has to travel back and forth from the two places, he can't even get 4 hours of sleep a day, he joked about himself: "Pandamen has made me become Iron Man." When Jay Chou heard this, he showed his signature smile, again he touched Wilber Pan's hand and said: "Aiyo, this isn't bad."

In ‘Pandamen’, Wilber has an ‘old’ relationship with mainland actress Tang Yan, and they have quite a few scenes together. When Wilber first met Tang Yan, he was thinking whether or not he should up their tacit understanding. Unexpectedly, she was very bold, and teased him: “Your ‘Gecko Stroll’ is so stupid!” making Wilber turn bright red from his neck to cheek.
