No doubt, in terms of acting and looks, Charmaine is better than Myolie, but Myolie's acting isn't bad either.

For me,i would prefer Charmaine as she has e looks n can act n sing,but Myolie is not bad either.She 2 can sing na ct well so i have no difference in it.

Acting-Skills: Unfortunately, it's Charmaine. WAB and DOP are both memorable characters for me. Whereas Myolie strictly reminds me of WOIL.

Singing-SKills: Myolie, duh. Did you hear her sing 'Hung Yee' for WAD, holy cow it's so good, it's almost as good as Joey. Charmaine singing DOP subtheme sounds like she's dying in a sandstorm.

Appearance: Ughh... aiyahh... X_X. Myolie looks younger and better then Charmaine, but Myolie herself isn't really pretty. Neutral.

Personallity: 200% Myolie, Charmaine always go to pubs and drink lots of beer and it's bad for her image. And sometimes she's rumored to act really 'slutty' to male co-stars, such as Ron Ng, Joe Ma, and she has lots of 'fei mun'.

Myolie is better then Charmaine, but LEILA NAD LINDA PWN ALL!!!! xDDDD

For me, I prefer Myolie. I do agree that Myolie acts, sings and her personality is better than Charmaine, but I do agree that Charmaine looks prettier in terms of appearance. However, I prefer Myolie on screen as she can act better.

Acting: They are both on the same level. It's just that TVB keeps giving them the same kind of roles and that's why people don't really see their improvement. They seriously need some breakthrough roles.

Singing: Definitely Myolie. Her singing for the WAD song is really good! I really hope she can sing more songs. For Charmaine, she can't sing and that is period. Her song for MV is just bad. She goes out of tune as and when she likes. Someone should just stop her from entering the studio from now on.

Personality: I really like Myolie's personality because she is really down to earth and humble. Also she is a very sweet and helpful girl. As for Charmaine, she is confident and sometimes too confident to the extent of being arrogant and cocky.

I love Myolie and I don't like Charmaine at all.

Definitely Charmaine. As for looks and talents, Charmaine has got full marks. Charmaine is so much better. She can sing and act.

Myolie is just more care free and she can sing! and i don't see anything wrong with her acting at all...just that charmine has been in the industry longer.

What is the point of this topic anyway? To see who has more fans here? Or are you trying to cause a fight between Myolie's fans and Charmaine's fans so that you, as a Tavia fan and Myolie's and Charmaine's disliker, can sit back and enjoy all the tension? I agree with the mod who edit your post about giving reasons. You ask people for who they like, but you don't state why you dislike both of them. Could it be you already have a favorite, Ms. Yeung? This would go back to my original point. You should focus more on Tavia and not the other actress that you dislike.

If you simply are just curious then fine, I will answer just for the sake of it. As a Charmaine fan. of course I would prefer Charmaine over Myolie. Noted, this is just my personal opinion, I have nothing against Myolie but I think in every aspects, Charmaine surpass Myolie. And my reason is simple, I just do.

As for who I prefer, I am a hard-core Myolie's fan so sure I choose her over Chairmaine. My reason is that I find her better at acting. When I first watched Myolie and Chairmaine on screen, I didn't like any of them but by time, Myolie's acting skill has really convinced me while I still don't like Chairmaine now.

I have to admit Charmaine' acting skills are getting better from The Drive of Life, Glittering Days and Maiden's Vow. However, I still prefer Myolie over Charmaine. Although, I use to be a huge fan of Charmaine since I first saw her in 1998 I think. However, after watching Myolie's series of WOIL, I think her acting is more talented and convincing. I hope Myolie will win best actress one day. Support you forever~~

& on looks, still Myolie looks more prettier. I think she looks more prettier after she lost weight from To Grow with love, more mature. Esp. When Dogs love cat, gosh! her hairstyle is gorgeous!

Ermm as a Charmaine fan of course I would choose Charmaine over Myolie .. Yeahh. hehe . Charmaine is good in singing and acting. I have nothing against Myolie too but then age doesn't matter to me . If one has the skills and talents , it would be better if it has looks , I would like them . For example Lam Fung , evryone likes Lam fung , he got the looks , skills and talents . I never heard anyone saying "I HATE LAMFUNG" . I doubt you heard that before . Right? He is reaching 30 soon in 2 years time , does it mean that once he is 30 years old all of you will dislike him? but acting wise, it's definitely charmaine. after watching her in maiden's vow i'm like WOW. she totally deserved the 2 awards last year. but i still don't like her.

For me, Myolie wins hands down when it comes to looks, personality, singing, and acting. She can play a younger role and a more mature role. When she cries, I totally feel her pain. When she smiles, her whole face lights up. Besides Bernice, she's the only actress that can bring a smile to my face. Go Myolie! As for Charmaine, I get annoyed sometimes when I see her act, especially in DOL. Like other people, I think she's getting old and TVB really does promote her a lot.

Myolie! She's always my no.1 fav actress in tvb! Her personality is more of the next-door-girl type, makes her look more affable =D [that's what I like her most about - humble, down-to-earth]

I think in terms of singing , Myolie's better than Charmaine.
In terms of acting, i dont have much comments. Cause different people potray different acting skills. We cant just compare like that what.
However, i think Myolie needs a breakthrough role la.

myolie: I first watched her in family man I think and I tot her acting skills were really good. Although some ppl say her acting is exaggerated, but I tot otherwise. She is just perfect for comedy. After all comedy is meant to be exaggerated. And she made me laugh with her funny expressions and actions. her acting is really natural in most of the shows i watched her in. she is definitely one of the few artist that i really admire for good acting skills.

I used to dislike her a little cause she give me the impression that she is quite proud. But I tot otherwise again after seeing her interview. She is very honest and direct.

I think she is quite down to earth and hardworking. Although she is not really very pretty but her looks grow on me. I think she has this natural beauty that attracts ppl to her.

charmaine: I used to like her. She is really very pretty and refreshing to look at. Moreover, her acting skills were quite okay for a newcomer at that time. Of course her acting improves but it didn’t improve much imo. The last series I watched from her was yummy yummy. Maybe I should watch maiden's vows. maybe i will then comment on her acting.

what I dislike about her is her personality. I don’t know her personally but from what I read from newspaper and tabloid, all those backstabbing, arrogant words etc.. Irk me so much.

one of the common points btw them is their overpromotion by TVB. I kept seeing them everywhere. But for some reasons, myolie's acting looked natural to me. I enjoyed seeing her although it means all the time in the past. In fact, I don’t mind renting her show. but i do mind for charmaine. call me biased but that is my honest views.

I would definitely choose myolie.her acting is more natural as compared to charmaine and she has very strong vocals too.but in terms of looks,i would say that both are on par.

I think both are good actresses, but I'll have to give Charmaine the acting aspect and the singing to Myolie. Both are still very good in my opinion.

Acting and singing I will choose Myolie, to me I think she is pretty, she's the cute type!
